Količina oborina do kraja srpnja 2022. Sve komponente prinosa bile su manje od očekivanih za prosječnu godinu., The aim of this research was to investigate the yields of spring field pea (Pisum sativum L.) and yield components, as well as their relationships. The study was conducted as a field trial at the Faculty’s experimental station near Tenja. There were tested three varieties of spring pea from Agricultural Institute Osijek: Gold (2005.), Uran (2010.) and Bera (2017.). Uran and Gold are varieties for grain production, while Bera is a variety for both forage and grain production. Pea varieties were harvested in mid-July, when the plants had died-off and the pods had dried. The yield components were measured in the laboratory of the Faculty. Gold yielded 2,07 t/ha of grain, Uran 1,94 t/ha and Bera 1,73 t/ha. All three varieties, although having great potential, underperformed due to a severe drought in 2022. The amount of precipitation till the July (month of harvest) was half of the long-term average. All yield components were lower than expected for an average year.
