Mobil has developed an innovative floating (liquefied natural gas) LNG plant design that puts emphasis on safety and hazard mitigation. The production, storage and offloading platform is designed for outputs of 6 million tons per year of LNG and up to 55,000 bpd of condensate from 1 Bcfd of feed gas. The plant and barge, which have generic designs, can be used at any location in the Pacific Rim.
