In this 4.0 era, where technology has been a part of our daily lives, the integration of smart devices into education is an indispensable movement that we are striving for. Hence, the application of mobile devices into learning, M-learning is becoming a trendy approach and a quality assurance's measurement for almost every academic institution. Technology makes education available for students almost anywhere, anytime, and offers unlimited access to learning resources. Furthermore, M-learning is also reported to have a positive impact on students' learning autonomy. Hence, this paper aims at validating possibilities to amplify this aspect of M-learning and suggesting an appropriate M-learning model at Nguyen Tat Thanh university (NTTU). The paper investigates students' needs, requirements, ability to adapt to the new trend of M-learning plus the external elements affecting their learning autonomy to come up with the learning model. Surveys were collected from students in the Faculty of Foreign Languages and analyzed using a qualitative method to provide educators and teachers at NTTU with insightful information and careful preparation before launching new approaches to M-learning.

The research has identified the factors affecting the level of response to the job requirement of social workers when conducting counseling for families of children with autism in autism care and education centers. To achieve this goal, in this study we surveyed 89 social workers in Hanoi city. The results of the analysis of the multivariate linear regression model have shown that 6 factors have a significant impact on the level of response to the requirement of counseling skills when assisting autistic children's families, including (i) passion for work, (ii) professional knowledge and practical experience, (iii) proactive activeness, (iv) training opportunities to improve qualifications, (v) employment incentives, (vi) job requirements. The results showed that the passion for the job was most appreciated. On this basis, the study offers several meaningful solutions to improve the job response level of social workers when conducting counseling for autistic children's families.

In the pursuit of advancing the surface machining efficiency of Ti-6Al-4V material through magnetic polishing, this study introduces a new approach methodology. A novel approach integrates Magneto-Rheological Finishing (MRF) into a circulating system, employing a circular Halbach array to ensure a continuous and uniform flow of magnetic abrasives. Employing simulation and theoretical analysis, MRF polishing processes with the fluid dynamics of abrasive (SiO2) and magnetic particles (Fe3O4) during the finishing process of Ti-6Al-4V material using a circulating conveyor designed for the regeneration of abrasive particles. To investigate the impact of magnetic fluid distributions influenced by magnetic fields on the machining process, we meticulously conduct experimental analyses. The findings underscore that diminishing the working distance results in an expanded distribution range of magnetic abrasive fluid on the conveyor belt. Consequently, this induces a noteworthy variation in impact positions on the workpiece surface, leading to an increased exposed area. A pivotal outcome of this study is the observed augmentation in machining quality and efficiency. Remarkably, the surface roughness of the Ti-6Al-4V workpiece undergoes a substantial improvement, diminishing from an initial Ra = 431.1 nm to an impressive Ra = 39.6 nm within a 30-minute timeframe. The breakdown of the symbiosis between cnidarians and Symbiodiniaceae often occurs upon periods of elevated sea surface temperature and gives rise to bleaching events that affect coral reefs worldwide. In this respect, an impairment of photosynthesis would be responsible for light-dependent generation of toxic reactive oxygen species putatively contributing to death of symbionts and/or host cells. In some Symbiodiniaceae species, alternative photosynthetic electron flows (AEF) have been documented to occur upon a shift to high temperature, possibly contributing to photoprotection and to the balance of energetic ratio between photoproduced ATP and NADPH. By using a combination of in vivo spectrofluorimetric and oximetric techniques, we studied the capacity for electron rerouting toward oxygen and cyclic electron flow (CEF) around photosystem I in eight Symbiodiniaceae in culture belonging to Symbiodinium and Breviolum genera upon an acute shift from 25 to 33°C. CEF capacity was determined as the kinetic of PSI primary donor P700 re-reduction in the presence of DCMU, a PSII inhibitor. An active oxygen uptake in light was estimated by comparing net oxygen evolution and relative electron transport rate of PSII at different light intensities. Among strains that showed elevated capacity for both AEF, some were thermotolerant while others were thermosensitive. Conversely, in some thermotolerant strains, capacities for these AEF were low upon acute heat stress. A principal component analysis of these results indicates that the long-term heat tolerant/bleached phenotype of cultured Symbiodinium and Breviolum spp. is not correlated with a capacity for different AEF across isolates during early onset of acute heat stress.

Adsorption of the polyelectrolyte polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride (PDADMAC) onto nanosilica (SiO2) fabricated from rice husk was studied in this work. Nanosilica was characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Adsorption of PDADMAC onto SiO2 increased with increasing pH because the negative charge of SiO2 is higher at high pH. Adsorption isotherms of PDADMAC onto silica at different KCl concentrations were fitted well by a two-step adsorption model. Adsorption mechanisms of PDADMAC onto SiO2 are discussed on the basis of surface charge change, evaluation by ζ potential, surface modification by FTIR measurements, and the adsorption isotherm. The application of PDADMAC adsorption onto SiO2 to remove amoxicillin antibiotic (AMX) was also studied. Experimental conditions such as contact time, pH, and adsorbent dosage for removal of AMX using SiO2 modified with PDADMAC were systematically optimized and found to be 180 min, pH 10, and 10 mg/mL, respectively. The removal efficiency of AMX using PDADMAC-modified SiO2 increased significantly from 19.1% to 92.3% under optimum adsorptive conditions. We indicate that PDADMAC-modified SiO2 rice husk is a novel adsorbent for removal of antibiotics from aqueous solution.

Most digital libraries that provide user-friendly interfaces, enabling quick and intuitive access to their resources, are based on Document Image Analysis and Recognition (DIAR) methods. Such DIAR methods need ground-truthed document images to be evaluated/compared and, in some cases, trained. Especially with the advent of deep learning-based approaches, the required size of annotated document datasets seems to be ever-growing. Manually annotating real documents has many drawbacks, which often leads to small reliably annotated datasets. In order to circumvent those drawbacks and enable the generation of massive ground-truthed data with high variability, we present DocCreator, a multi-platform and open-source software able to create many synthetic image documents with controlled ground truth. DocCreator has been used in various experiments, showing the interest of using such synthetic images to enrich the training stage of DIAR tools.
