The electrophysical and magnetoresistive properties of permalloy Ni80Fe20 (Py) and Py64Ag36 and Py64Au36 thin films prepared by the electron-beam sputtering are presented. The effect of the addition of a third element (Ag or Au) on the resistivity, temperature coefficient of resistivity and magnetoresistance of permalloy films has been described. The structural, electrophysical and magnetoresistive properties of the investigated samples showed a strong dependence on the annealing temperature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The concentration dependences of melting temperature Ts.s. s, Debye temperature ss.. Θ s.s.D and lattice parameter as.s. for massive high-entropy alloys based on Fe, Ni, Co, Cu and Al were analyzed within the concept of additivity of physical values of high-entropy alloys. 4- and 5-component alloys were considered in the form of single-phase solid solutions. It was established that Ts.s. s can vary within 150 K, that is,Ts.s. s insensitive to changes in the concentration of individual atoms. It is even less sensitive to concentration Θ s.s.D since the maximum value is ss. . ∆Θs.s.D ≅80 K. The lattice parameters change in accordance with Vegard's rule. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A nonlinear model of a viscoelastic medium is proposed, which describes softening of a thin layer of the ice surface during friction. The description of this transformation is based on the three following basic equations: the Kelvin-Voigt equation for a viscoelastic medium, the relaxation equations of Landau- Khalatnikov-type and for heat conductivity. It is revealed that mentioned equations coincide formally with the synergetic Lorenz system, where the order parameter is reduced to the shear strain, the stress acts as the conjugate field, and the temperature plays the role of the control parameter. The work further develops a nonlinear model of ice surface softening during friction, taking into account the spatial inhomogeneity of temperature in the equation of heat conductivity. In the framework of one-mode and adiabatic approximations an analytical soliton solution of a one-dimensional parabolic equation for the spatial normal distribution of shear strain to the ice surface is found. Due to the numerical solution of the one-dimensional Ginzburg- Landau differential equation, the distribution of friction force over the softened surface layer of ice is obtained and described. Two physical situations are considered: 1) the upper and lower surfaces move with equal velocities in opposite directions; 2) the upper surface is sheared along the fixed lower one. The coordinate dependencies of the friction force at different times are constructed and the evolution of the system to a stationary state is described. It is shown that the growth of time and background ice temperature leads to a sharper change of the friction force along the thickness of the premelted surface layer of ice, i.e. the relative shear velocity of the rubbing surfaces increases. The paper represents the results of the study on the structure and phase composition of bone apatite and fragments of calcified aorta of the same experimental animal with model osteoporosis. Examination by the X-ray and electron diffraction, electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy reveals that pathological calcification of rabbit aorta with model osteoporosis in crystal-chemical terms is the imperfect calcium apatite Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2. Temperature growth of ectopic apatite crystals during annealing at 900°C is similar to bioapatite of bone. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
