This study aimed to determine the total anthocyanin content and IC50 value) of antioxidants from the ethanol extract of Lobi-lobi (Flacourtia Inermisand Jamblang (Syzygium Cuini L Skeel) fruit which were analyzed using the DPPH method. by UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The research was conducted at the Environmental Laboratory of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Khairun University. The results showed that the anthocyanin content and antioxidant activity of the lobi and jamblang fruit were analyzed using the Differences in pH and DPPH methods. For lobbies anthocyanin levels are 17.99 mg/L and 4.62 mg/L. Meanwhile, for IC50 antioxidants from fruit lobbies, 50.01 g/L was obtained, for jamblang it was 91,113 g/L.

The goal of this research was to find a biodegradable material that could potentially replace plastics. The production of biofoam from sago pulp was therefore investigated. The first steps in making biofoam from sago pulp were to characterize it and determine the best conditions for the biofoam polymerization process. According to the results, the whiteness degree of the biofoam raw material was 88.03%, the biofoam water content was 5.44-8.88 cents, the biofoam density was 0.27-0.30, the water absorption from the biofoam was around 0.35-0.66%, and the grade of biodegradability was 44.3%. An investigation on dolabellane derivatives to understand their potential in inhibiting the SARS-CoV-2 main protease (3CLpro) using anin silicoapproach.

In silico approach has been carried out for the determination of drug candidates from anthocyanin derivative as inhibitors of the COVID-19 main protease. Geometry optimization has performed using the DFT/B3LYP/6-31G(d,p) method as an initial step to prepare candidate ligand. The results of molecular docking showed that candidates C5 and C6 had promising results with a grid score smaller than the ligand reference (X77) with a flexible conformation type. Studies on absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity of C5 and C6 candidates were conducted to study the physicochemical properties of drug candidates and to show good predictive results as drugs. Molecular dynamic simulation uses the ffSB14 force field for 200 ns to study the interaction between ligand and receptor, the system stability, solvent accessibility, energy interactions, and hydrogen bonds. The results show good interaction stability on the C5 complex compared to the reference ligand which is characterized by the binding free energy value of C5 was -42.77 ± 0.37 kcal/mol and X77 was -42.37 ± 0.41 kcal/mol.

Infrastructure in the coastal area is mostly made of steel and reinforced concrete steel which is susceptible to corrosion due to direct contact with sea water and also climatic conditions. There are several ways that can slow down the rate of corrosion reaction, one of which is by adding certain substances that act as inhibitors of corrosion reactions. This study is to determine the effect of using Rice Husk Ash as a natural inhibitor to reinforcing reinforced concrete reinforcement. The inhibitors used were rice husk ash mixed with reinforced concrete mixture as much as 5% and 10%. This corrosion measurement by calculating the weight lost from the reinforcement (inhibition efficiency). From the experimental results show that the higher the concentration given the lower the corrosion rate, and the optimal conditions obtained the effect of the use of natural inhibitors (rice husk ash) to reinforcing steel corrosion on the addition of 10% inhibitor of rice husk ash ash by 96%.

Molecular geometry optimization and electronic transition modeling of anti-UV activity on anthocyanin derivatives computationally have been carried out using the Hyperchem 8.0.10 application. Optimization of molecular geometry of anthocyanin compounds using a semi-empirical PM3 and ZINDO/s method with a gradient change of 0.01 kcal/(Å mol) for modeling the electronic transition of anthocyanin derivate. The results show that the transition type in 10 anthocyanin derivatives is n to π⃰ and π to π⃰ with anti UV activity in the UV-A and UV-C wavelength regions. Electron excitation for each anthocyanin derivative occurs in four molecular orbitals. The energy difference of HOMO-LUMO showed that malvidin compound was the one with the smallest energy gap, which was 5.61 eV and the luteolinidin compound was the one with the biggest energy gap, which was 5.94 eV.

This article discusses the influence of learning support processes and resources in the knowledge of ChemicalLaboratory skills of high school students in Ternate Island. The learning process of chemistry in high schoolespecially on laboratory, related to time/schedule allocation, practical purpose and achievement indicator in skill areabecome the focus of discussion on this aspect. While the supporting resources of learning, more emphasized onaspects of facilities and infrastructure such as the availability of educators, laboratory buildings, tools and chemicalsthat are based on the value of accreditation Senior High School in Ternate Island. in this study using 3 methods ofcollecting data such as survey techniques in schools, interview with teachers in schools and tests students' lab skills.The results showed that the knowledge of high school students' lab skills on Ternate Island is getting higher inschools with better accreditation. Skill Knowledge of High School Students in Ternate Island is still in the lowcategory on the glass organizing aspect at the laboratory.

Telah dilakukan peneletian tentang pengembangan media video penggunaan alat gelas di Laboratorium pada mahasiswa tahun I Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan video penggunaan alat gelas di laboratorium yang layak digunakan sebagai panduan mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia FKIP Universitas Khairun dalam melakukan praktikum. Media video pengguaan alat gelas di Laboratorium ini dikembangkan berdasarkan kaidah pengembangan media pembelajaran yang diadaptasi dari tahap pengembangan 4D. Hasil pengembangan berupa video pengenalan dan penggunaan alat gelas di laboratorium dengan durasi 18 menit. Dari segi validitas media video, kedua produk tersebut dinyatakan sangat valid oleh 3 orang validator dengan nilai rata-rata 3,81 dari skala 4 dengan kategori sangat valid. Produk media video juga diukur keterbacaannya oleh 10 mahasiswa prodi pendidikan kimia FKIP Universitas Khairun dengan persentase keterbacaan sebesar 79,17%. Sedangkan angka keterlaksanaan praktikum menggunakan panduan kedua video tersebut di Laboratorium sebesar 67,50%. This study aims to produce a video of glass tools usage in a laboratory that was suitable to be used as a practicum module for students of educational chemistry department FKIP Khairun University. Video development methods based on learning media development principles adapted from the 4D development stage. The results of the development of a video introduction and use of glassware in the laboratory with a duration of 18 minutes. The validity of both was expressed by 3 validators with an average rating of 3.81 from a scale of 4 with very valid categories. Video products are also measured legibility by 10 students of educational chemistry department FKIP Khairun University with a percentage of legibility of 79.17%. While the practical implementation the video usage on practicum in the Laboratory of 67.50%.
