To describe the prevalence of health - risk behaviors among secondary school students in Binh Dinh province, as well as the associated factors, a cross - sectional study was conducted on 2081 students aged 12 to 15 years from three secondary schools in Binh Dinh province, November 2019. The data were collected by indirect interview using a structured questionnaire. The prevalence of health - risk behaviors among secondary school students in Binh Dinh province was still high, especially consuming fatty foods (32.1%). 14 years-old and 15 years-old consumed more fatty foods and used more smart devices than 12 years-old students. Students of 15 years old consumed more soft drinks and participated in less physical activity than the 12-year-olds. Boys consumed more fast food, alcohol, soft drinks, and tobacco than girls. Additionally, girls consumed more fatty foods, used smart devices more frequently, and engaged in less physical activity than male students. Consumption of fatty meals, soft drinks, and fast food; alcohol usage; less physical activity; smoking habits and use of smart devices were discovered to be associated with age and gender of research participants. Health promotion interventions focusing on health risk behaviors related to eating and living habits should be considered.

Eating habits are a critical part of life because they can affect long - term health. A descriptive cross - sectional study was conducted on 1588 students aged 12 - 15 years in Hai Phong in May 2019 with indirect interview using self - administered questionnaire with questions regard the eating habits and food consumption frequency of some food groups. There were 29.6% of students reported that they skipped at least one meal a day. Breakfast was the most frequently skipped meal. Students aged 13 and 14, with parents’ occupations such as farmers, employees, and freelancers, and those whose Z-score BMI >+1 are statistically associated with skipping meals. Fruits and vegetables were food that likely to be consumed every days. Some students still consumed alcohol. There should be communication programs for parents, students, school to understand the benefit of having a healthy diet and consuming healthy food as well.

The study focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of the use of the virtual biology experiment of "Quantification of chlorophyll by spectroscopy" compared with the traditional educational method (hands-on laboratory labs, which involves physical presence, procurement of equipment, specific materials, and procedures). 2D and 3D models of equipment in the lesson were designed based on graphic tools (Blender, Adobe Illustrator). The movements, manipulation and troubleshooting of the virtual experiment (VE) are simulated using the Unity engine. The web-based VE was developed and evaluated the impact of VE by comparing a group of deployed students (Group 1) with a group of non-implemented students (Group 2). This study investigates the impact of openness on human capital in 112 countries worldwide in 2000–2019. An two-stage least square fixed-effect model with instrumental variables is used to unravel the complicated relationship between human capital and its key determinants. The empirical results show that the impacts of openness vary greatly among different groups of countries. For example, while FDI has no effect on human capital in developed and upper-middle-income developing countries, its effect is positive in lower-middle-income countries and negative in low-income countries. Exports stimulate human capital formation in developed countries but in low-income developing countries, they act as an impediment to human capital formation. Imports have a positive effect on human capital in developing countries; however, in developed countries, the effect of imports on human capital is negative. International cooperation effectively raises the level of human capital in developed, upper-middle-income and low-income countries; however, it has no effect in lower-middle-income countries. In light of mindsponge—mindspongeconomics and the SM3D knowledge management system, the study’s findings particularly shed light on the long-term development roadmap associated with human capital and openness expansion in less developed and emerging countries in years to come.

In this paper, we propose a new STEM topic in the automation field for upper-secondary school students, which is the topic "Traffic signal lights". This STEM education is designed to be relevant to the current general education curriculum in subjects as Physics, Technology, and Informatics. Based on the 6E learning model, the teaching process is built for this topic, in which two factors of technical design and practice (programming and assembly of circuits) are emphasized in STEM-oriented teaching for upper-secondary school students.

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is defined as temporary or permanent changes in spinal cord function and reflex activity. The objective of this study is to evaluate health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and activities of daily living (ADL) among postoperative surgery patients with complete cervical SCI in Vietnam and to explore the factors associated with these indices. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 88 adults in Vietnam from June 2018 to June 2019. The EQ-5D-5L, ADL, and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) were applied. Multivariate Tobit regression was adopted to determine factors that were associated with HRQOL, ADL, and IADL. Results: Participants who were in American Spinal Cord Injury Association (ASIA) scale group A (ASIA-A) had the lowest ADL, IADL index, and HRQOL score (p &lt, 0.001). HRQoL and ADL were affected by health insurance coverage, occupation, type of fracture, and IADL. Meanwhile, IADL was significantly associated with living areas and ASIA. Low HRQoL among patients suffering from SCI was observed. Attention should be given to outcomes related to a disability during clinical treatment and should be treated effectively in the recovery.

The advent of the Internet has posed unprecedented challenges on enforcing copyright. Online copyright infringements are pervasive, while it is not easy to impose liability on direct infringers, i.e., Internet users. This leads to a debate over whether online platforms or online intermediaries, which are often named “Internet Service Providers” (ISPs), should be held liable for these infringing activities or not, and if so, how to balance between Internet freedom, technological innovation and the need for effective copyright enforcement in the digital era. The aim of this paper is to provide answers to these questions by analyzing ISP’s liability from different international approaches such as the United States, the European Union, and China; hence, some experience for Vietnam could be drawn. Finally, the authors make recommendations to address the shortcomings in Vietnam’s intellectual property law with respect to ISP’s liability. This research is perfectly timing, given that Vietnam is amending its Intellectual Property Law to implement its commitments under the new generation free trade agreements and to meet the demand of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

The potential of cassava foliage (Manihot esculenta Crantz) as a protein-rich feed in sheep production in Vietnam was examined by studying cassava foliage yield, hydrogen cyanide (HCN) content, toxicity and performance of lambs fed the foliage as a supplement. Cassava foliage fed ad libitum as a protein supplement to a basal diet of urea-treated rice straw gave similar lamb live weight gain (LWG) as diets supplemented with commercial concentrate or protein-rich foliage of stylosanthes (Stylosanthes guianensis) or jackfruit (Artocarpus heterophyllus). Field studies showed that higher harvesting frequency gave higher yield of cassava foliage. A K94 cassava variety always gave the highest foliage yield. Content of dry matter (DM), neutral detergent fibre (NDF), acid detergent fibre (ADF) and total tannins in the cassava foliage increased with plant and leaf maturation, while crude protein (CP) and HCN content decreased. Total tannin content was highest at first harvest and decreased slightly at subsequent harvests, while the reverse was true for HCN content. Different cassava varieties and degrees of processing (fresh, wilted or hay) resulted in differences in foliage HCN content. Feeding cassava foliage at 2% of body weight (BW) from the start led to wasted feed, but prolonging the adaptation period to 21 days resulted in lower LWG. A 7-day period for adaptation to cassava foliage was a good compromise for lamb performance and health. Feeding cassava foliage as fresh, wilted or hay did not result in any difference in LWG, but hay had lower DM and CP digestibility. Inclusion of cassava in the diet of sheep had a positive nematode control effect, but HCN consumption and thiocyanate concentration in urine increased with increasing foliage intake.

The objective of the experiment was to study different adaptation strategies to avoid HCN intoxication when feeding fresh cassava foliage to sheep. Twenty-four Phan Rang lambs (initial weight = 19.6 kg at 5.5 months of age) were used in the study. The four experimental diets contained guinea grass (Panicum maximum) supplemented with concentrate at 1.5% of body weight (BW) as dry matter (DM) (control) or supplemented with fresh cassava foliage (FCF) that was introduced into the diet with an adaptation period of 0 (FCF-0), 7 (FCF-7) or 21 (FCF-21) days before reaching the target feeding level of 2% of BW. The average intake of FCF expressed as DM was not different amongst the supplemented treatments and ranged from 1.4 to 1.5% of BW but gradually increased during the first 7 days without any adaptation. The hydrogen cyanide consumed varied from 5.1 to 5.4 mg/kg BW and no difference between treatments with cassava foliage in the diet was found. The live weight gain was significantly higher in the treatments control and FCF-7 compared to FCF-21. No significant differences in heart rate, respiration rate and rumen movement were found between diets. The thiocyanate concentration in the urine of the lambs increased concomitantly with the increase in fresh cassava foliage offered during the first part of the experiment. In conclusion, an adaptation period of approximately 7 days seems to be favourable in combined diets where cassava foliage is offered in quantities up to 2% of BW. This level of intake could enhance the intake and LWG of the lambs without any documented effects on heart rate, respiration rate or rumen movements.
