Tools: Distress Tolerance Scale, problematic internet use questionnaire, and Ryff psychological wellbeing scale. Data were collected from 60 nursing students over a period of 4 months.Results: Distress tolerance level was increased among study group from 20.75± 14.29 to 72.75± 24.09 and sustained for 3 months to 62.44 ± 20.77 with statistically significant (f=7.090, p=0.006) and large effect size 0.75. When compared to no change among the control group as mean scare start by 22.35± 14.29 to 23.44± 16.09 and after 3 months to 21.75± 17.44 with insignificant difference (f=0.454, p=0.574). The mean score of problematic internet use shows highly statistically significant decrement in the study group between three period of time (pretest= 62.93, immediately post= 52.13, and post 3 months=52.70) with large effect size 0.78 (f=95.029, p< 0.001), in compared to control group that showed insignificant no changes (pretest= 64.0± 14.54, immediately post= 63.13± 12.87, and post 3 months=63.53± 11.36) with (f=1.012, p=0.332). In addition, the total mean score of psychological well-being was increased immediately after therapy and later for three months of therapy (pretest= 128.47, immediately post=148.77, and post 3 months= 153.60) with highly statistically significant (f=41.197, p< 0.001) with effect size 0.85, compared to no change among control group (pretest=125.97± 32.58, immediately post= 126.23± 30.86, and post 3 months=126.43± 29.78) with (f=0.208, p=0.698).Conclusion: Efficacy of distress tolerance skills intervention had been proven in altering poor psychological wellbeing among students with problematic internet use. It helps students to learn new skills and use more adaptive strategies to overcome distress tolerance difficulties.Keywords: distress tolerance training, problematic internet use, psychological wellbeing, nursing students

It is very important to design a rapid and sensitive device for the creatinine concentration detection due to it being one of the most considerable benchmarks for efficient kidney working. Here, a novel biophotonic sensor using one-dimensional ternary PC based on Si/TiN/SiO2 layers is proposed for the creatinine concentration detection in a blood serum sample. A central cavity layer is inserted between two equal periodic numbers. The blood sample can be infiltrated in the cavity layer with various creatinine concentrations. Based on the technique of transfer matrix, the transmittance spectra properties are investigated. The influences of variation of the incidence angle for both TE and TM polarizations and the cavity layer thickness are carefully investigated to attain the best sensitivity of the biophotonic detector. A high sensitivity of 938.02 nm/RIU is realized for the suggested detector, which is comparable to most recent works published in this area. Moreover, the proposed sensor has an inexpensive cost, real-time detection, and simple structure, which is helpful to the industrial design using low-cost product nanofabrication techniques. Based on above-mentioned outcomes, our biosensor candidate is a suitable and effective device for the detection of creatinine concentration, and it can use for any biological sample.

Abstract Nitisinone (NIT) produces inevitable but varying degree of tyrosinaemia. However, the understanding of the dynamic adaptive relationships within the tyrosine catabolic pathway has not been investigated fully. The objective of the study was to assess the contribution of protein intake, serum NIT (sNIT) and tyrosine pathway metabolites to nitisinone-induced tyrosinaemia in alkaptonuria (AKU). Samples of serum and 24-h urine collected during SONIA 2 (Suitability Of Nitisinone In Alkaptonuria 2) at months 3 (V2), 12 (V3), 24 (V4), 36 (V5) and 48 (V6) were included in these analyses. Homogentisic acid (HGA), tyrosine (TYR), phenylalanine (PHE), hydroxyphenylpyruvate (HPPA), hydroxyphenyllactate (HPLA) and sNIT were analysed at all time-points in serum and urine. Total body water (TBW) metabolites were derived using 60% body weight. 24-h urine and TBW metabolites were summed to obtain combined values. All statistical analyses were post-hoc. 307 serum and 24-h urine sampling points were analysed. Serum TYR from V2 to V6, ranging from 478 to 1983 µmol/L were stratified (number of sampling points in brackets) into groups 1100 (59) µmol/L. Purpose: In mid-2019, fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (FAW), a highly destructive and polyphagous pest was first discovered in Egypt. It is now a candidate to be a major economic threat to crop production. This study is the first report of this pest at Sharqia Governorate, northern-east Egypt. The available chemical control that is reviewed and reported which is mostly the first assessment in Egypt regarding the extreme shortage in any local data Research Method: Compare the morphological features and description of the detected insect stages with the ideal published data. Through leaf dip bioassay in second instar larvae; the lethal concentrations (LC values) of various conventional and newer insecticides were detected in FAW. Four different insecticides (indoxacarb, methomyl, chlorpyrifos, and metaflumizone were evaluated against both strains (laboratory and field) of FAW. Findings: Generally, the field strain showed resistance to the tested insecticides as compared to the laboratory one; however, indoxacarb (sodium channel blocker) was recorded as the most toxicant one, recording the lowest LC50 and LC90 values (48.79 and 208.47%) for field strain and (16.47 and 103.78%) for laboratory one, respectively. The field strain’s observed insecticide resistance was attributed to resistance mechanisms including a noteworthy rise in the activities of detoxification enzymes. indoxacarb showed the lowest resistance significant values in the field strain as compared to laboratory one. We can conclude that sodium channel blocker i.e. indoxicarb is a promising choice in IPM strategies of FAW in Egypt. Research Limitations: More field studies are required to examine the tested insecticides on different plant species to confirm their effectiveness under field circumstances and to make conclusive recommendations. Originality / Value: Findings can confirm the presence of the invasive FAW in this specific area, register it for the first time, and provide detailed descriptions, also the candidate insecticides proved to be promising control agents to combat FAW larvae under local efforts and domestic circumstances. Introduction: Protein nutrition disorder in alkaptonuria (AKU), resulting in increased homogentisic acid (HGA) before nitisinone therapy and increased tyrosine (TYR) during nitisinone therapy, may benefit from dietetic intervention. The aim of this study was to characterise the diet and their effects prospectively in those who received formal dietetic intervention in the nitisinone-receiving National Alkaptonuria Centre (NAC) patients with those who did not in no-nitisinone Suitability of Nitisinone in Alkaptonuria 2 (SN2 N−) and nitisinone-treated SN2 (SN2 N+) randomised study groups. Patients and methods: A total of 63, 69, and 69 AKU patients from the NAC, SN2 N−, and SN2 N+ were studied for anthropometric (weight, BMI), body composition (including muscle mass, %body fat, hand grip strength), chemical characteristics (serum TYR, serum phenylalanine, urine urea or uUREA, and urine creatinine or uCREAT), and corneal keratopathy. Nitisinone 2 mg and 10 mg were employed in the NAC and SN2 N+ groups, respectively. Dieticians managed protein intake in the NAC, while the SN2 N− and SN2 N+ groups only received advice on self-directed protein restriction during four years of study duration. Results: uUREA decreased in the NAC, SN2 N−, and SN2 N+ groups, showing that protein restriction was achieved in these groups. Body weight and BMI increased in the NAC and SN2 N+ groups. uCREAT decreased significantly in SN2 N− and SN2 N+ compared with the NAC over four years of study. Corneal keratopathy was less frequent in the NAC than in the SN2 N+ group. Active dietetic intervention in NAC stabilised lean body mass (muscle mass, hand grip strength) despite a decrease in uUREA and uCREAT, as well as sTYR. Conclusion: Ongoing dietetic intervention prevented loss of lean body mass despite protein restriction and moderated serum tyrosine increase, leading to less prevalent corneal keratopathy. In this work, we propose novel structures of one-dimensional ternary planar photonic crystals (1D-TPPC) consisting of periodic unit cells of dispersive materials. The transfer matrix method (TMM) is utilized to investigate the propagation of the electromagnetic radiation in the proposed structure. The transmittance spectrum and Floquet-Bloch theorem are used to determine the features of the photonic band gap (PBG) for the transverse electric (TE) mode of the incident radiation. In particular, the photonic band gap width (PBGW) is studied as a function of the number of unit cells, thicknesses of layers, angle of the incidence and temperature. Based on the results obtained, the proposed structures are believed to be promising in designing wide angle infrared reflectors.

In this paper, we establish new two-mode coupled Burgers’ equations which are introduced to the first time. We derive the multiple kink and singular solutions for new two-mode coupled Burgers’ equation. We find the necessary conditions in which these solutions exist. We investigate the necessary conditions to have kink and singular kink solutions for the new two-mode coupled Burgers’ equations. We write an explicit form for the single-soliton solution of the two-mode coupled Burgers’ equations. We find the necessary conditions in which the multiple kink and multiple singular kink solutions exist. The two-front solutions of the two-mode coupled Burgers’ equations are presented. The two-kink solutions and the two-singular-kink solutions are obtained. The three-front solutions of the two-mode coupled Burgers’ equations are presented. The three-kink solution and the three-singular-kink solution are obtained. In general, the N-front solutions and the singular N-kink solution of the two-mode coupled Burgers’ equations are given. In this paper, we study the time evolution of three-states spin-1 non-Hermitian systems. The state vector of the wave function for Schrödinger equation is obtained analytically by using the Cayley–Hamilton theorem. We note that the behavior of the non-Hermitian three-states system corresponds to the Hermitian three-state system. Furthermore, the fluctuation between three-state spin-1 is periodically oscillating when the eigenvalues of the non-Hermitian system are real. Moreover, if the eigenvalues are imaginary, we explore that from our analysis and analytical solution that the probabilities' amplitudes always grow with time for all physical parameters in the three-state, i.e. including the -symmetry non-Hermitian system.
