The significance of cloud computing methods in everyday life is growing as a result of the exponential advancement and refinement of artificial technology. As cloud computing makes more progress, it will bring with it new opportunities and threats that affect the long-term health of society and the environment. Many questions remain unanswered regarding sustainability, such as, "How will widely available computing systems affect environmental equilibrium"? When hundreds of millions of microcomputers are invisible to each other, what will society look like? What does this mean for social sustainability? This paper empirically investigates the ethical challenges and practices of cloud computing about sustainable development. We conducted a systematic literature review followed by a questionnaire survey and identified 11 sustainable cloud computing challenges (SCCCs) and 66 practices for addressing the identified challenges. Interpretive structural modeling (ISM) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) were then used to identify and analyze the interrelationship between the SCCCs. Then, based on the results of the ISM, 11 process areas were determined to develop the proposed sustainable cloud computing challenges mitigation model (SCCCMM). The SCCCMM includes four main categories: Requirements specification, Quality of Service (QoS) and Service Legal Agreement (SLA), Complexity and Cyber security, and Trust. The model was subsequently tested with a real-world case study that was connected to the environment. In a sustainable cloud computing organization, the results demonstrate that the proposed SCCCMM aids in estimating the level of mitigation. The participants in the case study also appreciated the suggested SCCCMM for its practicality, user-friendliness, and overall usefulness. When it comes to the sustainability of their software products, we believe that organizations involved in cloud computing can benefit from the suggested SCCCMM. Technological advancement makes the world a global village. Security is an evergreen and everlasting area, because of the continuous threat from Hackers and Crackers. The immense use of software systems has modernized human society in every aspect. Thus, it is crucial to devise new processes, techniques, and tools to support teams in the development of secure code from the early stages of the software development process, while potentially reducing the costs and shortening the time to market. Considering the significance of software security, it is important to consider the security practices from the early phase of the software development life cycle (SDLC), that is, requirements engineering (RE). Hence, this study aims to identify and categorize RE practices important to apply for secure software development (SSD) in a geographically distributed development environment. To study the RE practices concerning SSD, we conducted a questionnaire survey with industrial experts in the global software development (GSD) context. Furthermore, the interpretive structure modeling (ISM) approach was applied to evaluate the relationship between the RE security practice core categories. This paper identifies 70 practices and classifies them into 11 fundamental dimensions (categories) to assist GSD organizations in specifying the requirements for SSD. The ISM results show that the "Awareness of Secure Requirement Engineering (SRE)" category has the most decisive influence on the other 10 core categories of the identified RE security practices. With the help of empirical evidence and the ISM approach, this work attempts to identify potential security practices and to give a set of secure RE practices that can be used to improve the security of the software development process. Software security has become increasingly important because the malicious attack and other hacker risks of a computer system have grown popularity in the last few years. As a result, several researchers have examined security solutions as early as the requirement engineering phase. With the growth of the software business and the internet, there is a need to understand the security risks against each phase of the software development life cycle (SDLC). This study aims to empirically investigate and prioritize the risks that could negatively impact the software security aspects of SDLC in the context of global software development (GSD). To achieve the study objectives, we conducted an industrial empirical study to determine the impact of software security threats against each phase of SDLC. Furthermore, the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) was used to prioritize the list of software security risks against the SDLC. The results and analysis of this study provide a ranked‐based decision‐making framework, which assists the practitioners in considering the most critical security risks on priority. The results show "improper plan for secure requirement identification, inception, authentication, authorization, and privacy," "lack of threat models updating," "lack of output validation," "lack of certification in the final release and archive," and "spoofing" as the top‐ranked security risks of SDLC in GSD. But, in quantum image processing field, the study on image scrambling is still few. Several quantum image scrambling schemes are in circle but, lot of it is yet to be performed.This paper presents the implementation of XOR quantum dot gate using bitwise operation to scramble an image metric. While the XOR operation has only half chance of outputting false or true (0, 1). XOR by scrambling an image so that image can be hidden immensely to avoid third party intervention. Software outsourcing is fairly a common business practice these days. Outsourcing may just mean to obtain or contract out a work or services offshore. Though Offshore Software development outsourcing (OSDO) has many benefits but it faces several challenges like cultural separation, geographical dispersion, telecommunication requirements, and complex communication and coordination problems in terms of time. Effective and efficient communication and coordination play a vital role in the success of outsourcing projects. The objectives of this research are to find out challenges and critical success factors for communication and coordination in offshore software outsourcing relationships via systematic literature review. For identification of challenges and critical success factors for communication and coordination in OSDO relationships we will use Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The expected outcomes of this review will be a list of challenges and critical success factors for communication and coordination in OSDO relationships. Similarly the outcomes will contain solutions for the identified communication and coordination challenges faced by OSDO vendors. Background: Peripheral Arterial Disease [PAD], a manifestation of systemic atherosclerosis, is highly prevalent both in community studies and in primary care practice. Estimation of ankle brachial index [ABI] by ultrasound Doppler is the standard screening method for the detection of atherosclerosis in PAD patients. A low ABI is associated with increased risk of stroke or transient ischemic attack, ischemic heart disease and lower extremity gangrene. Though prevalence is high, physician and patient awareness of the condition is low. Primary care physicians are not well versed with the use of Doppler. Initial cost of the equipment is another adverse factor in low income countries. Detection of ankle systolic pressure by palpatory method may offer a cheap, simple and useful alternative approach in office care settings for early detection of disease. This may lead to the use of risk reduction strategies to avoid significant future morbidity and mortality., Methods: The sample size of 230 participants was identified. Patients were divided into control (100 cases), high risk asymptomatic (100 cases) and symptomatic groups (30 cases). Ankle systolic pressure was measured by digital palpation of foot arteries and by the gold standard Doppler technique in all patients in the three groups. PAD was defined by an ABI of < 0.9., Results: In control group, mean +/- SD value of ABI was 1.0115 +/- 0.08167 by Doppler method versus 0.9923 +/- 0.08609 by palpatory method (p = 0.1), in high risk asymptomatic group, 0.9838 +/- 0.08878 versus 0.9608 +/- 0.10377 (p = 0.13) and in symptomatic group, 0.9302 +/- 0.14064 versus 0.9088 +/- 0.13274 (p = 0.12). Against the more precise Doppler method, palpatory method was equally good in detecting the PAD positive cases., Conclusion: Early diagnosis of PAD in primary care practice by manual palpation of foot arteries is a reliable method to identitfy the population at risk and may lead to aggressive preventive therapies.
