Fuzzy Time Series (Fts) models are experiencing an increase in popularity due to their effectiveness in forecasting and modelling diverse and intricate time series data sets. Essentially these models use membership functions and fuzzy logic relation functions to produce predicted outputs through a defuzzification process. In this study, we suggested using a Second Order Type-1 fts (S-O T-1 F-T-S) forecasting model for the analysis of time series data sets. The suggested method was compared to the state-of-theart First Order Type 1 Fts method. The suggested approach demonstrated superior performance compared to the First Order Type 1 Fts method when applied to household consumption data from the Magene Regency in Indonesia, as measured by absolute percentage error rate (APER).

The Internet of Multimedia Things (IoMT) refers to a network of interconnected multimedia devices that communicate with each other over the Internet. Recently, smart healthcare has emerged as a significant application of the IoMT, particularly in the context of knowledge‐based learning systems. Smart healthcare systems leverage knowledge‐based learning to become more context‐aware, adaptable, and auditable while maintaining the ability to learn from historical data. In smart healthcare systems, devices capture images, such as X‐rays, Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The security and integrity of these images are crucial for the databases used in knowledge‐based learning systems to foster structured decision‐making and enhance the learning abilities of AI. Moreover, in knowledge‐driven systems, the storage and transmission of HD medical images exert a burden on the limited bandwidth of the communication channel, leading to data transmission delays. To address the security and latency concerns, this paper presents a lightweight medical image encryption scheme utilising bit‐plane decomposition and chaos theory. The results of the experiment yield entropy, energy, and correlation values of 7.999, 0.0156, and 0.0001, respectively. This validates the effectiveness of the encryption system proposed in this paper, which offers high‐quality encryption, a large key space, key sensitivity, and resistance to statistical attacks. Securing digital image data is a key concern in today’s information-driven society. Effective encryption techniques are required to protect sensitive image data, with the Substitution-box (S-box) often playing a pivotal role in many symmetric encryption systems. This study introduces an innovative approach to creating S-boxes for encryption algorithms. The proposed S-boxes are tested for validity and non-linearity by incorporating them into an image encryption scheme. The nonlinearity measure of the proposed S-boxes is 112. These qualities significantly enhance its resistance to common cryptographic attacks, ensuring high image data security. Furthermore, to assess the robustness of the S-boxes, an encryption system has also been proposed and the proposed S-boxes have been integrated into the designed encryption system. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed encryption system, a comprehensive security analysis including brute force attack and histogram analysis has been performed. In addition, to determine the level of security during the transmission and storage of digital content, the encryption system’s Number of Pixel Change Rate (NPCR), and Unified Averaged Changed Intensity (UACI) are calculated. The results indicate a 99.71% NPCR and 33.51% UACI. With the advancement in technology, digital images can easily be transmitted and stored over the Internet. Encryption is used to avoid illegal interception of digital images. Encrypting large-sized colour images in their original dimension generally results in low encryption/decryption speed along with exerting a burden on the limited bandwidth of the transmission channel. To address the aforementioned issues, a new encryption scheme for colour images employing convolutional autoencoder, DNA and chaos is presented in this paper. The proposed scheme has two main modules, the dimensionality conversion module using the proposed convolutional autoencoder, and the encryption/decryption module using DNA and chaos. The dimension of the input colour image is first reduced from N ×M ×3 to P×Q gray-scale image using the encoder. Encryption and decryption are then performed in the reduced dimension space. The decrypted gray-scale image is upsampled to obtain the original colour image having dimension N × M × 3. The training and validation accuracy of the proposed autoencoder is 97% and 95%, respectively. Once the autoencoder is trained, it can be used to reduce and subsequently increase the dimension of any arbitrary input colour image. The efficacy of the designed autoencoder has been demonstrated by the successful reconstruction of the compressed image into the original colour image with negligible perceptual distortion. The second major contribution presented in this paper is an image encryption scheme using DNA along with multiple chaotic sequences and substitution boxes. The security of the proposed image encryption algorithm has been gauged using several evaluation parameters, such as histogram of the cipher image, entropy, NPCR, UACI, key sensitivity, contrast, and so on. Objective: To evaluate the various temporary transvenous pacemaker (TPM) access sites, its indications, procedural complications, and outcomes of patients. Methods: This prospective study conducted in a tertiary care hospital of Peshawar, included 100 patients, who underwent TPM for any reasons, via the trans jugular, subclavian, or trans-femoral route. The duration of the study was from October 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2022. The demographic, procedure -related complications, causes of complete heart block and in hospital outcomes were recorded. Results: Of the 100 patients who underwent temporary transvenous pacing, 56%were males and 44% were females, with an age range of 46-80 years. In majority of the patients, (N =54) internal jugular vein was used as the venous access site followed by the subclavian vein. (N=24). Coronary artery disease was prevalent in 42% of the patients. 50% had complete AV block, 19% had symptomatic second-degree block, and 10% had sinus nodal diseases. Seventy three percent of the patients needed TPM implantation on an emergency basis, which is statistically significant (p=0.009). Almost 40% of the patient ultimately underwent a permanent pacemaker. Out of 100 patients, 16 patients expired. The major procedure related complications were bleeding 16% overall at the puncture site and 14.8% in the internal jugular group. Other complications were local infection 13% at the insertion site followed by hemopericardium 3%, in the internal jugular group. Conclusion: Atrioventricular block is the commonest indication for temporary pacing in our study. The average time the TPM remained in place was significantly higher in the trans jugular approach group along with a higher complication rate in this group. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The COVID-19 outbreak began in December 2019 and was declared a global health emergency by the World Health Organization. The four most dominating variants are Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron. After the administration of vaccine doses, an eminent decline in new cases has been observed. The COVID-19 vaccine induces neutralizing antibodies and T-cells in our bodies. However, strong variants like Delta and Omicron tend to escape these neutralizing antibodies elicited by COVID-19 vaccination. Therefore, it is indispensable to study, analyze and most importantly, predict the response of SARS-CoV-2-derived t-cell epitopes against Covid variants in vaccinated and unvaccinated persons. In this regard, machine learning can be effectively utilized for predicting the response of COVID-derived t-cell epitopes. In this study, prediction of T-cells Epitopes’ response was conducted for vaccinated and unvaccinated people for Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omicron variants. The dataset was divided into two classes, i.e., vaccinated and unvaccinated, and the predicted response of T-cell Epitopes was divided into three categories, i.e., Strong, Impaired, and Over-activated. For the aforementioned prediction purposes, a self-proposed Bayesian neural network has been designed by combining variational inference and flow normalization optimizers. Furthermore, the Hidden Markov Model has also been trained on the same dataset to compare the results of the self-proposed Bayesian neural network with this state-of-the-art statistical approach. The aim of this study is to an analysis of Determinants of Debt Financing: A Case study of the Cement Industry of Pakistan. As Profitability is one of the best tools to measure the performance of any firm or sector. The current study also aims to analyze the impact of intangible assets on the profitability of the cement industry of Pakistan. To analyze the impact of intangible assets on profitability some control variables are also used in this research i.e. capital structure, firm size, growth rate, non-debt tax shield, and working capital, alongside these variables intangible assets are also used as a determinant of the profitability and age of the firm is used as a moderator between intangible assets and the profitability of the firm. The Data collected Twenty years of (unbalanced) annual data i.e. 1998 to 2017 of twenty cement companies listed under the Pakistan stock exchange is used and the data sources are secondary. To analyze the data panel data regression is used, the results of the study concluded that a positive and significant relationship exists between intangibles and profitability, and the age of the firm moderated the relationship between the two variables. Firms in Pakistan should report intangible assets in their financial statements, the managers of the said industry need to manage the intangible assets of their firm efficiently and should work on its disclosure in their financial statements. This study explores the attitudes of public-school teachers towards the usage of technology in education and its effect on their teaching and students' learning. This qualitative research studied public schools in Punjab by conducting semi-structured interviews with teachers. Findings depicted that teachers initially felt disdain towards technology usage but opened up to the idea after training. The results included an example of a public school where technology was integrated into education and produced positive results. The original contribution of this study to the body of knowledge is by depicting the struggle and occasional success of a monolingual teacher trying to make meaningful use of technology, where most of the support is being offered in a foreign language (English). Objective: To represents the demographic profile, clinical characteristics, frequency of risk factors and distribution of lesions and findings on coronary angiogram in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. Methodology: This retrospective cross sectional study was conducted from January 2020 to December 2021 at the Department of Cardiology, Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar. Clinical profile, risk factors and angiographic finding were collected from the history ans medical record of patients and entered on proforma. The study comprised of all patients presenting with ACS to tertiary care set up. Inclusion criteria was patients presenting with chest pain suggestive of angina presenting to the ER of the hospital. Results: Of the total 800 patients, 62.50 % were male. Mean age of the study population was 55.58±11.16. Majority had normal BMI. Overall, 33.75% of the patients were smoker. Hypertension was present in 48 % of the patients. Diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia was observed in 38.8% and 31.2% respectively. Most common presenting complaint was chest pain. Myocardial infarction was observed in 33.25% of the patients. Angiographic distribution of lesion showed that 20.38% had SVCAD. About 30% had DVCAD and 27.50% had TVCAD. On the other hand, 22.25% patient had normal coronary vessel. PCI was performed in 350(43.75%) of the patients where CABG was recommended in 16.13%. Right dominance was observed in 705(88.12%) of the individuals. Conclusion: Single vessel coronary artery disease is the most common finding and most common treatment option is PCI. Hypertension and smoking were the most common risk factors in patients presenting as ACS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
