This study aims to compare the dual solutions of the problem describing the magnetized motion of a Newtonian and second‐grade fluid induced by a curved stretching/shrinking surface using the associations of homogeneous–heterogeneous reaction and Cattaneo–Christov model. The model is further developed using the properties of convective heat transfer, suction velocity, Joule heating, heat source/sink, and viscous dissipation with the porous medium. The relevant transformations are applied to the governing partial differential equations (PDEs) resulting in the system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The solution technique makes use of the computational scheme in MATLAB known as the bvp4c technique. All relevant findings are obtained using a wide range of dimensionless parameters. The Cattaneo–Christov model and the second‐grade fluid transmits heat faster than the classical Fourier law and Newtonian fluid as well as the heat transfer rate of both fluids was found to drop as the values of Eckert number and curvature parameter enhances. Moreover, the Newtonian fluid has lower friction drag than the second‐grade fluid and the concentration of the bulk fluid is declined by the rising values of hetrogeneous and homogeneous reaction parameter. With potential applications in a variety of engineering fields, including thermal management systems and nanofluid‐based technologies, this work is significant for understanding MHD flow of second‐grade nanofluids over curved surfaces, incorporating heterogeneous reactions and the Cattaneo–Christov model. The results also aid in improving heat transfer efficiency and understanding of fluid behavior under various parameter situations, providing information for improving industrial processes and advanced materials engineering design considerations. This contemporary article examines the transfer of heat properties and the flow behavior of water‐based nanofluid suspended with silver nanoparticles. These silver nanoparticles have a very huge thermal conductivity and hence it is presumed that the resulting nanofluid shall have enhanced thermal conductance. This article is more focused on the study of Ag−H2O$Ag - {H}_2O$ nanofluid flowing past a cylinder that is modeled mathematically using the cylindrical coordinate system. The initial modeling is designed using a system of partial derivatives while at a later stage, this system is transformed into a nonlinear group of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The equations in this system are solved to obtain the dual solutions by implementing the RKF‐45 method which has a greater rate of convergence and additionally, it is computationally very effective. The findings of the study are dealt by plotting graphs and the discussions are based on the appearance of graphs. It is further noticed that the critical point (λc)$({{\lambda }_c})$ remains constant at −42.58$ - 42.58$ for any changes made in the values of heat generation/absorption coefficient. Similarly, the critical value remains constant at −42.6$ - 42.6$ for any change made in the values of the Eckert number. Meanwhile, it is also observed that the increase in the Eckert number increases the temperature absorbed by the nanofluid whereas it decreases the Nusselt number. The present computational model is built to analyze the energy and mass transition rate through a copper and cobalt ferrite water-based hybrid nanofluid (hnf) flow caused by the fluctuating wavy spinning disk. Cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) and copper (Cu) nanoparticles (nps) are incredibly renowned in engineering and technological research due to their vast potential applications in nano/microscale structures, devices, materials, and systems related to micro- and nanotechnology. The flow mechanism has been formulated in the form of a nonlinear set of PDEs. That set of PDEs has been further reduced to the system of ODEs through resemblance replacements and computationally solved through the parametric continuation method. The outcomes are verified with the Matlab program bvp4c, for accuracy purposes. The statistical outputs and graphical evaluation of physical factors versus velocity, energy, and mass outlines are given through tables and figures. The configuration of a circulating disk affects the energy transformation and velocity distribution desirably. In comparison to a uniform interface, the uneven spinning surface augments energy communication by up to 15%. The addition of nanostructured materials (cobalt ferrite and copper) dramatically improves the solvent physiochemical characteristics. Furthermore, the upward and downward oscillation of the rotating disc also enhances the velocity and energy distribution. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
