This article explores several characteristics, such as price and taste, to influence the behavior of coffee drinkers in Banda Aceh City, Indonesia. Using standard multiple regression analysis, it turns out that coffee taste affects coffee drinkers' behavior. On the other hand, the price of coffee drinks does not affect the behavior of coffee drinkers. This study shows that the taste of coffee is more important for coffee customers to decide to drink coffee. Further research is suggested by increasing the number of samples and expanding the study area. An in-depth discussion is highly recommended for debate and practical and theoretical consequences for further study.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui transformasi struktural perekonomian Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Aceh dan Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Formula untuk menganalisis transformasi struktural perekonomian di Kabupaten Aceh Utara dengan menggunakan analisis Shift-Share Estaban-Marquillas (E-M). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Periode 2011-2015 di Kabupaten Aceh Utara kontribusi sektor primer dan sekunder terus mengalami penurunan peranannya terhadap pembentukan PDRB, sedangkan sektor tersier terus mengalami peningkatan perannya, hal ini jelas menggambarkan adanya transformasi atau pergeseran struktur ekonomi di Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Hasil analisis Shift-Share Kabupaten Aceh Utara, periode 2011-2015 pada akhir periode observasi terdapat dua sektor yang memiliki keunggulan kompetitif dan berspesialisasi (kuadran 4) yaitu, 1) sektor pertanian, kehutanan dan perikanan; dan 2) sektor industri pengolahan.

This paper aims to investigate how the UNIQLO, the global Japanese fast fashion retailing group, drives their organization towards success. UNIQLO has a good product quality by introducing Heat Tech range of cold weather underwear lines which targeted at warm weather with affordable price. Besides, UNIQLO continues to develop its product via research and development to meet the needs of their customers. UNIQLO stores particularly are distinctive and have a clear positioning in the market. In 2014, UNIQLO launched its mobile online store through the smartphone app. UNIQLO emphasizes on giving the best satisfaction to their customers. The paper presents the factors that lead to organizational success in UNIQLO. These findings will have considerable implications for academics as well as practitioners. Finally, the paper also provides direction for future research.

Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang pengembangan produk OVOP di Kota Banda Aceh. Kota Banda Aceh merupakan daerah pertama di Provinsi Aceh yang telah mengembangkan produk industri kreatif melalui pendekatan OVOP. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa, pada tahun 2016 telah diidentifikasi sebanyak 368 produk dari 90 gampong. Proses produksi masih dilakukan secara manual, menggunakan mesin semi otomatis hingga mesin otomatis. Pemasaran produk juga telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai saluran pemasaran, baik dipasarkan sendiri oleh pemiliknya langsung, melalui agen auat distributor, maupun secara online. Di samping itu, wilayah pemasarannya telah menjangkau pasar dalam provinsi, pasar nasional, dan luar negeri. Temuan penting lainnya adalah sebagian besar industri tersebut belum memiliki izin usaha dan izin edar. Diperlukan partisipasi aktif untuk bersinergi dari pemerintah, dunia usaha, dan perguruan tinggi dalam mendorong pengusaha tersebut supaya mampu memproduksi produk lokal yang berdaya saing tinggi dan berkelanjutan.

The aims of this study were to establish the physical and physiological attributes of elite and sub-elite Malaysian male badminton players and to determine whether these attributes discriminate elite players from sub-elite players. Measurements and tests of basic anthropometry, explosive power, anaerobic recovery capacity, badminton-specific movement agility, maximum strength, and aerobic capacity were conducted on two occasions, separated by at least one day. The elite (n = 12) and sub-elite (n = 12) players' characteristics were, respectively: mean age 24.6 years (s = 3.7) and 20.5 years (s = 0.7); mass 73.2 kg (s = 7.6) and 62.7 kg (s = 4.2); stature 1.76 m (s = 0.07) and 1.71 m (s = 0.05); body fat 12.5% (s = 4.8) and 9.5% (s = 3.4); estimated VO(2max) 56.9 ml . kg(-1) . min(-1) (s = 3.7) and 59.5 ml . kg(-1) . min(-1) (s = 5.2). The elite players had greater maximum absolute strength in one-repetition maximum bench press (P = 0.015) compared with the sub-elite players. There were significant differences in instantaneous lower body power estimated from vertical jump height between the elite and sub-elite groups (P0.01). However, there was no significant difference between groups in shuttle run tests and on-court badminton-specific movement agility tests. Our results show that elite Malaysian male badminton players are taller, heavier, and stronger than their sub-elite counterparts. The test battery, however, did not allow us to discriminate between the elite and sub-elite players, suggesting that at the elite level tactical knowledge, technical skills, and psychological readiness could be of greater importance.
