Bu tez çalışmasında araçların kaput altı, su kutusu ve motor bölgelerinde akustik amaçlı kullanılan düşük yoğunluklu poliüretan (L.PU) köpüklerin monomer oranlarının değiştirilmesinden ve mikro boyutlu içi boş kürecik esaslı katkı malzemesi ilave edilmesinden sonra yüzey, akustik ve güç tutuşurluk özellikleri üzerine etkileri incelenmiştir. PU üretiminde temel bileşenler olarak poliol, izosiyanat (MDI), katalizör ve grafit ve katkı maddesi olarak ise mikro boyutlu içi boş kürecikler kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk adımında, temel üretim parametrelerini ve monomer oranlarını belirlemek amacıyla düşük yoğunluklu PU köpükler üretilmiştir. Daha sonra, bu üretime bağlı olarak poliol ve izosiyanat oranları değiştirilerek PU köpükler elde edilmiştir. Son olarak üretim reçetesine farklı oranlarda mikro boyutlu içi boş kürecik esaslı katkı eklenerek PU köpükler üretilmiştir. Toplamda 5 farklı reçete ile PU köpüklerin üretilebilirliği belirlendikten sonra, farklı monomer oranlarının ve farklı oranlardaki mikro boyutlu içi boş kürecik esaslı katkıların yüzey üzerine etkileri SEM ile görsel olarak incelenmiştir. Her bir PU köpükteki fonksiyonel gruplar, FTIR spektrofotometresi ile tanımlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Aynı zamanda otomotiv endüstrisinde sıklıkla kullanılan Alfa kabin test cihazı ile PU köpüklerin akustik özellikleri ölçülmüştür. Son olarak yatay yanma test cihazında yüzeylere güç tutuşurluk testleri yapılmıştır. In this thesis, after changing the monomer ratios of low-density polyurethane (L.PU) foams and adding micro-size spheres additives, the effects of them on surface, acoustic and fire-retardant properties were examined for acoustic purposes under the hood, in water boxes, and motor areas. In PU production, polyol, isocyanate (MDI), catalysts, and graphite were used as the main components in recipe, and micro-size spheres additives were used as additives. In the first step of the study, PU foams were produced to determine basic production parameters and monomer ratios. Then, depending on this production, PU foams were obtained by changing polyol and isocyanate rates. Finally, PU foams with additives were produced by adding the micro-size spheres additives in the main production recipe. The effects of different monomer ratios and additives of micro-size spheres on the surface were visually examined by SEM after determining the production of PU foams with 5 different recipes in total. Each functional group on the PU foam was tried to be defined by FTIR spectrophotometer. At the same time, the acoustic properties of PU foams were measured with the Alpha cabin test device, which is frequently used in the automotive industry. Finally, the fire-retardant properties of PU foams were performed by the horizontal burning test device.
