In the rapidly evolving landscape of agricultural technology, image processing has emerged as a powerful tool for addressing critical agricultural challenges, with a particular focus on the identification and management of crop diseases. This study is motivated by the imperative need to enhance agricultural sustainability and productivity through precise plant health monitoring. Our primary objective is to propose an innovative approach combining support vector machine (SVM) with advanced image processing techniques to achieve precise detection and classification of fig leaf diseases. Our methodology encompasses a step-by-step process, beginning with the acquisition of digital color images of diseased leaves, followed by denoising using the mean function and enhancement through Contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization. The subsequent stages involve segmentation through the Fuzzy C Means algorithm, feature extraction via Principal Component Analysis, and disease classification, employing Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) in conjunction with SVM, Backpropagation Neural Network, and Random Forest algorithms. The results of our study showcase the exceptional performance of the PSO SVM algorithm in accurately classifying and detecting fig leaf disease, demonstrating its potential for practical implementation in agriculture. This innovative approach not only underscores the significance of advanced image processing techniques but also highlights their substantial contributions to sustainable agriculture and plant disease mitigation. In conclusion, the integration of image processing and SVM-based classification offers a promising avenue for advancing crop disease management, ultimately bolstering agricultural productivity and global food security.

In order to realize online detection and control of network viruses in robots, the authors propose a data mining-based anti-virus solution for smart robots. First, using internet of things (IoT) intrusion prevention system design method based on network intrusion signal detection and feedforward modulation filtering design, the overall design description and function analysis are carried out, and then the intrusion signal detection algorithm is designed, and finally, the hardware design and software development for a breach protection solution for the IoT are completed, and the integrated design of the system is realized. The findings demonstrated that based on the mean value of 10,000 tests, the IoT’s average packet loss rate is 0. Conclusion: This system has high accuracy, good performance, and strong compatibility and friendliness.

Global Software Development (GSD) is a contemporary approach to software development that offers numerous advantages, including enhanced cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. It enables access to a vast pool of skilled developers and facilitates the exchange of best practices and innovative ideas within the software industry. However, effective project management plays a vital role in ensuring successful product development. Organizations that achieve project success consistently adhere to well-defined project management methodologies, resulting in desired outcomes within predefined time frames and allocated resources. The success rate of software projects significantly increases with diligent software management efforts. Nevertheless, the distributed nature of GSD presents significant challenges related to collaboration, information dissemination, and process control, which ultimately impede effective development and compromise software quality. In this study, we identify various challenges associated with the GSD process and propose strategies to overcome obstacles to effective project management. Additionally, we introduce a comprehensive framework designed to enhance managerial activities in GSD.

The significance of cloud computing methods in everyday life is growing as a result of the exponential advancement and refinement of artificial technology. As cloud computing makes more progress, it will bring with it new opportunities and threats that affect the long-term health of society and the environment. Many questions remain unanswered regarding sustainability, such as, "How will widely available computing systems affect environmental equilibrium"? When hundreds of millions of microcomputers are invisible to each other, what will society look like? What does this mean for social sustainability? This paper empirically investigates the ethical challenges and practices of cloud computing about sustainable development. We conducted a systematic literature review followed by a questionnaire survey and identified 11 sustainable cloud computing challenges (SCCCs) and 66 practices for addressing the identified challenges. Interpretive structural modeling (ISM) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) were then used to identify and analyze the interrelationship between the SCCCs. Then, based on the results of the ISM, 11 process areas were determined to develop the proposed sustainable cloud computing challenges mitigation model (SCCCMM). The SCCCMM includes four main categories: Requirements specification, Quality of Service (QoS) and Service Legal Agreement (SLA), Complexity and Cyber security, and Trust. The model was subsequently tested with a real-world case study that was connected to the environment. In a sustainable cloud computing organization, the results demonstrate that the proposed SCCCMM aids in estimating the level of mitigation. The participants in the case study also appreciated the suggested SCCCMM for its practicality, user-friendliness, and overall usefulness. When it comes to the sustainability of their software products, we believe that organizations involved in cloud computing can benefit from the suggested SCCCMM. In Industry 4.0, integrating Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and smart manufacturing is crucial for high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production. However, the performance of IIoT systems can be hindered by unevenly distributed edge service providers (ESPs). To tackle this challenge, we propose an optimized embedded system for edge intelligence and smart manufacturing, leveraging digital twin (DT) technology. Our approach employs a DT-assisted alliance game resource optimization strategy to jointly optimize multidimensional resource allocation, including bandwidth, computing, and caching resources, while considering constraints like maximum delay. The optimization problem maximizes edge terminal utility and ESP utility, transformed into a convex optimization problem with linear constraints. An approximate optimal solution is obtained through an alternating iterative method. Simulation results demonstrate significant enhancements in resource utilization efficiency compared to baseline schemes like Nash equilibrium and large coalition. The proposed scheme is ideal for large-scale edge intelligence and smart manufacturing systems, with benefits increasing alongside the number of ESPs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The use of new-age technologies including Smart sensors, embedded devices, and Cloud computing can help deliver efficient and safe management for provisioning drinking water for consumers and irrigation for agriculture. The management actions combined with real-time data gathering, monitoring, and alerting with proactive actions, prevent issues from occurring. This research presents a secure and smart research framework to enhance the existing irrigation system. This involves a low-budget irrigation model that can provide automated control and requirements as per the season, climate by using smart device sensors and Cloud communications. The authors presented four unique algorithms and water management processing rules. This also includes alerting scenarios for device and component failures and water leakage by automatically switching to alternative mode and sending alert messages about the faults to resolve the operational failures. Prediction of the stock market can play a vital role in everyone's life to attain sustainable growth. This can also lead to an attractive profit by making the proper choices in the financial stock market. The stock market prediction is a big challenge which requires extensive advanced tools and techniques to analyze the future and present data. The modern stock market institutions provide better self-trading and investment options, enabling regular people and traders to enter the market through numerous online applications and websites that are available via smart devices. Financial institutions are investing more and more in talent development so that investors may make the maximum money. There are a multitude of reasons for this, including volatility of market and a collection of other interrelated and independent parameters that control the market value of a different stock. Because of these factors, it is excessively difficult for any specialist in financial markets to accurately predict the market's rise and collapse. This research paper proposed an artificial neural network (ANN) technique which combines with fuzzy logic to predict the stock market for short duration with high accuracy. First, historical and real-time data are used to classify and gather information for prediction. Then the short-duration prediction is done with a high accuracy of 96% and the error margin for a small instance is 2.3%. Through training, testing and validation it is clear that for sustainable short duration prediction, ANN integrated with fuzzy is a good choice.
