- Abstract
Social media platforms are changing the way health care professionals interact with patients, especially the younger, millennial population. This new mode of communication provides unique marketing opportunities to reach younger generations, primarily via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok. These platforms have already become primary mechanisms by which entertainment, news, and information are consumed, shared, and disseminated in this age group.
