The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched a new 10-year cardiovascular risk prediction recommendation known as the WHO Cardiovascular Risk Chart 2019 (WHO CRC). However, there is currently no assessment available regarding the relationship between ASCVD classic and occupational profiles to WHO CRC, specifically in occupational settings and in the context of the Indonesian Heart Association's (IHA) adjusted version of the WHO CRC for South-East Asia (WHO CRC-INA). This study aims to fill this gap by examining the relationship between classic (Atherosclerosis Cardiovascular Disease) ASCVD and occupational profiles within the oil and gas industry, specifically the WHO CRC-INA. This study is analytical cross-sectional research data were analyzed using the Chi-square test and logistic regression, with a significance level of P < 0.05. The research using total sampling method amounted to 240 workers from January to May 2022 of Medical Check Up (MCU) in a major oil and gas company. The ASCVD risk measurement instrument uses the final score of the WHO CRC-INA, grouped into low- and medium-high risk. Analysis showed that occupational profiles had a relationship with WHO CRC-INA medium-high risk, as seen in the bivariate analysis for shift work and work type (P = 0.018; OR = 2,045) had a relationship with WHO CRC-INA medium-high risk. This study aim is to investigate the activity which maintain the engagement of students and improve student's learning achievement in the herbal medicine module during a distance learning course that was conducted by the faculty of medicine Universitas Indonesia through Student Centered e-Learning Environment (SCeLE). The data collected from log data of 340 students in SCeLE, which consist of the frequency of students accessing the course including access resources and participate in asynchronous online discussion. Bivariate correlation and linear regression analysis were analyzed. The frequency of access to students to learning materials, forum discussion, and the course is a statistically significant impact on student learning outcomes. The coefficient correlation of frequency of student participation in forum discussion, access learning material, access to course to student's final grade are 0.665, 0.709, and 0.755, respectively. The topic which is frequently accessed by students has a higher average score in the final exam. The frequency of participation in forum discussion has a greater influence on student's final grade than the frequency of student accessing learning materials to the final grade in the implementation of distance learning.

Background: We developed a novel interlocking three-dimensional (3D) miniplate design with an adjustable configuration. As this device is new, surgeons must become familiar with its application. This study evaluated the usability and learning curves associated with the novel interlocking 3D miniplate for mandibular fracture fixation. Methods: The study participants, nine plastic surgeons, were asked to apply an interlocking 3D miniplate and a standard miniplate to polyurethane mandible models. The participants had completed the Basic Craniomaxillofacial Osteosynthesis course during residency and had operated on craniomaxillofacial fractures within the past 5 years. They were instructed to place the interlocking 3D miniplate three times and the standard miniplate once. We assessed the time required for implant placement, the comfort level of the surgeons, and the biomechanical stability of the plates. Biomechanical testing was conducted by subjecting the mandible to forces ranging from 10 to 90 N and the displacement was measured. Results: The results indicate increasing comfort with each attempt at placing the interlocking 3D miniplate, with a significant difference between the first and third attempts. Additionally, a reduction in application time was noted with repeated attempts, suggesting improved efficiency. Biomechanical tests showed comparable stability between the tested plates. Conclusion: Multiple attempts at applying the interlocking 3D miniplate resulted in increased comfort and reduced application time. These findings indicate that, despite its novelty, the interlocking 3D miniplate is relatively straightforward to apply and has a short learning curve. The Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center (OSTRC) questionnaire on injuries and health problems is one of the recommended methods for monitoring athletes' health problems, but until now it has not been available and validated in a Bahasa version. This study aims to develop the OSTRC Questionnaire into Bahasa and assess its application in adolescent athlete surveillance. The research process is divided into two stages; The adaptation and validity assessment according to ISPOR rules involving 42 adolescent athletes for 2 weeks and the second stage is 8 weeks of surveillance involving 46 adolescent athletes. Results of the analysis found that the Bahasa version of the OSLO Questionnaire for shoulder, knee, ankle, and health problems has good validity and reliability with Cronbach-a 0.905, 0.940, 0.933, and 0.840 respectively. The intraclass correlation coefficient for health problems was 0.905, the shoulder region was 0.94, the knee region was 0.933 and the ankle region was 0.840, with all p-values <0.001. The sensitivity of the health problems questionnaire reached 97.6% and specificity 99.4%, while the sensitivity of the injury questionnaire reached 100% and specificity reached 99.4%. The Bahasa version of OSLO Sports Trauma Research Center Injury and Health Problems is valid and reliable and shows high sensitivity and specificity to detect and separate athletes with injuries or health problems. Extended reality (XR) has become one of the most promising tools for supporting learning and practice in medicine, especially in countries with limited resources such as Indonesia. This study assessed medical lecturers' and students' awareness, perceptions, and readiness to implement XR in Indonesian medical education. A cross-sectional study of multiple medical schools across Indonesia was conducted from April to May 2021. The respondents were lecturers and students from the undergraduate and postgraduate stages of medical faculty. Respondents were asked to complete a self-constructed questionnaire with 40 questions for lecturers and 31 for students. A total of 415 respondents, comprising 246 undergraduates, 96 postgraduates, and 73 medical lecturers from 34 medical faculties and 28 provinces in Indonesia, participated in the survey. Most medical lecturers and students were aware of the XR system, with virtual reality (VR) being the most common type of XR reported (72%-76%). However, most students and lecturers had no experience utilising XR technology (58%-65%). The use of VR was the highest among all types of XR technology (29%-37%), while mixed reality (MR) was the lowest (2%-3%). Most respondents reported an interest in medical training using XR facilities (89%-97%). However, they also expressed concerns about potential adverse effects and a lack of confidence that the Indonesian medical faculty was ready for XR implementation. The results showed positive awareness and perceptions of XR in Indonesian medical education. Backgrounds: Ovarian cancer is a deadly women cancer with many chemoresistance after standard treatment. Ovarian cancer tissues' CD44+/CD24− (CSCs), RAD6 overexpression and DDB2 underexpression are associated with chemoresistance, recurrence, and poor prognosis of the disease because of the existence of cancer stem cells (CSCs). We tried to analyze the expression of those three proteins while building a predictor scoring system to predict the ovarian cancer chemoresistance from the ovarian cancer tissue immunohistochemistry. Materials and Methods: We conducted a cohort study of 64 patients divided into two groups (32 patients in each group) at the Cipto Mangunkusumo, Tarakan, Dharmais, and Fatmawati Hospital which are located in Jakarta city, Indonesia. The patients underwent cytoreductive debulking and histopathological examination continued by six series of chemotherapy followed by six months of observation. We divided the groups into chemoresistant and chemosensitive by using Response Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) criteria. Ovarian cancer tissue immunohistochemistry tests were then performed to count the CSCs, RAD6 and DDB2 expressions. Results: We found relationship between increased CSCs, RAD6 and reduced DDB2 (p < 0.05) expression in ovarian cancer tissue with the chemoresistance. A possible predictor scoring system named IHC-UNEDO scoring was built to aid the ovarian cancer chemoresistance prediction. Conclusions: The conclusion is that CSCs, RAD6 and DDB2 expressions are significantly associated with ovarian cancer chemoresistance, and IHC-UNEDO scoring should be considered as a tool to predict ovarian cancer chemoresistance. Background: NAION, a multifactorial disorder with an unclear mechanism has limited insight on its treatment option. Despite conflicting results in its relation to hypercoagulation, many metabolic risk factors associated with NAION are intertwined with hypercoagulation. We aim to investigate the impact of anticoagulant therapy in the vascular and visual function of NAION patients. Methods: A prospective interventional study was conducted in the Neuro-Ophthalmology Division, Department of Ophthalmology at FKUI-RSCM Kirana from October 2020 to April 2022, involving two groups of NAION subjects: hypercoagulation and non-hypercoagulation. All subjects received 80 mg of aspirin daily, with the hypercoagulation group additionally receiving 2 mg of warfarin. We assessed capillary perfusion (CP) and flux index (FI) using OCTA, along with changes in visual acuity (Snellen chart test) and visual field (Humphrey Visual Field - HVF) at presentation and one month after treatment. Results: The hypercoagulation group had 14 subjects, while the nonhypercoagulation group had 7. This research found a significant decrease for CP (p=0.003) and FI (p=0.001) in both groups. CP and FI in all quadrants decreased more in the non-hypercoagulable group without anticoagulant therapy, although the difference between the two groups was not significant (p=0.198 for CP and p=0.243 for FI). Hypercoagulation group showed significant visual field improvements (p=0.033 for MD and p=0.014 for VFI). Most subjects within hypercoagulation showed improvement although not all of it was significant, while the majority of the nonhypercoagulation group showed no changes. Conclusion: Anticoagulant therapy could potentially mitigate the progression of flow insufficiency and facilitate clinical enhancement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
