We herein show a dramatic change of herbal properties of the composition as well as function via fermentation of Cynanchi atrati Radix (family Asclepiadaceae). Cynanchi atrati Radix showed a high cytotoxicity against B16-F10 melanoma cell line, but the function of Cynanchi atrati Radix was completely changed into anti-melanin activity at very low concentration after Lactobacillus -fermentation. In addition, the compounds were drastically changed as shown in HPLC-based profile. Furthermore, this transformation has been achieved by only Lactobacillus -fermentation. This study proposes an strategy which we need to consider in the herb-derived material researches including pharmacopuncture.

The aim of this paper is to select a distinct vocabulary for understanding the media facade of user and to lay the foundation for a media facade emotional scale. Firstly, we assembled a set of emotional words that were sufficient to represent a general overview of korean emotions, collected from various literature studies. Secondly, we found emotional words from collecting user opinion on the Youtube website. Finally the emotional words were collected from phrase by using non-structural survey. The collected words were integrated according to standards and they were organized 39 pieces that can be used in the survey. As a result, we extracted 21 emotional words for measuring user’s emotions expressed while watching media facade, such as 'novel', 'cool', 'awesome', 'gorgeous', 'exciting', 'amazing', 'wonderful,', 'showy', 'great,', 'intense', 'good', 'grand', 'colorful', 'unique', 'variety', 'new', 'fun', 'beautiful', 'luxurious,', 'mysterious', 'satisfactory'. And we categorized the 21 words to form 5 elements by using factor analysis such as 'surprise', 'attention', 'variety', 'aesthetics', 'interest'

SSE-CMM for security engineering, engineering, assurance, risk is divided into three elements of the process maturity assessment model and the level of information security presented. Maturity measurement of privacy, vulnerability diagnosis and risk analysis methodologies is used in practical field for present a comprehensive conclusion. The common cyber services are internet banking, mobile banking, telephone banking and the like. Transaction structure, a kind of cyber-banking system, information security maturity of the existing measurement methodologies for research purposes, vulnerability diagnosis and risk analysis methodologies to be used in practical field present a comprehensive conclusion. To ensure safety and convenience for the user, convenient to deal with cyber environment is the key to the activation of cyber trading. Particularly by measuring the maturity of cyber banking system to ensure the safety of the practice field much effects are expected as a result.

In high voltage transistor (HVT), device characteristics could be affected by little changes of doping concentration or parasitic charges due to low substrate doping concentrations. Humps caused by boron segregation in sub-threshold region of HVT make bad effects on device characteristics. In this paper, we have presented the novel Fermi leve controlled HVT (FCHVT) to simply eliminate hump effects.

We proposed silicon quantum dot (Si‐QD) formation on thermally grown silicon oxide at the low temperature by photo‐CVD using a gas mixture of SiH4 and H2. We controlled the ratio of hydrogen to silane and the deposition temperature to achieve well‐assembled high‐density Si‐QDs. The Si‐QD density depends on not only the ratio of H2 to SiH4 but also the deposition temperature. The low temperature crystallization was confirmed by a high resolution transmission electron micrograph. The Si‐QD density has maximum value of 2.54×1011 cm−2 at the deposition temperature of 150 °C.

The digital TV era is just ahead of us. Digital TV will provide quality audio and video. Fortunately digital signal processing technologies have been fully developed. Digital TV will also give us interactivity. Users have experienced interactivity through Internet and they expect that the same interactivity can be experienced in the digital TV programs. Interactive TV can transform the dumb TV that is one-way into a smart TV that will be bidirectional. However, nobody has ever experienced bidirectional TV programs. Therefore, the implementation of bidirectional programs is not easy. For this a GUI for the interative programs is illustrated.
