12. Impact of land transformation processes in Eastern China on the long-term development of land surface temperatures.

Abstract

The purpose of the presented study is to evaluate the comprehensive impact of different land cover types on the temperature development in the entire Shandong Province by a 20-year-long (MODIS) LST time series from 2003 to 2022. To find out the primary influencing factors, methods such as the Pearson correlation, stepwise analysis, and best-subset selection were applied. The results revealed that the average temperatures had been rising in summer during day- and night-time by 2.32 ℃ and 1.22 ℃, respectively and in winter during day- and night-time by 3.25 ℃ and 1.33 ℃, whereby a significant contribution can be attributed to the period 2014-2022. Substantial variations in LSTs emerge between built-up and vegetated areas and landlocked and coastal regions. Moreover, we could identify a contribution of 0.089 ℃, caused merely by the extension of built-up areas of 1.65% in the entire Shandong Province. Modeling the combined effects of further relevant variables/factors, the percentage of cropland area (crop-per) and the number of landscape patches (NPl) indicate considerable influence on the daytime temperature in the temporal domain. Abstract

Diese Dissertation analysiert auf Grundlage arbeitswissenschaftlicher Erkenntnisse branchenspezifische Chancen und Hindernisse bei der Integration flexibler Arbeitszeitmodelle in Architekturbüros. Auf Basis einer theoriegeleiteten Untersuchung und einer darauf aufbauenden qualitativen empirischen Analyse wird dargestellt, wie bestehende Hürden überwunden werden können und wie eine zukunftsorientierte Arbeitszeitgestaltung in der Architekturbranche realisierbar ist., This dissertation analyzes industry-specific opportunities for and obstacles to integrating flexible work arrangements in architectural offices based on insights from labor studies. Based on a theory-driven investigation and using qualitative empirical analysis, it shows how existing hurdles can be overcome and how future-oriented arrangements of working hours can be implemented in the architecture industry.

Abstract

Fubao im Sichuan-Becken ist eine der wenigen gut erhaltenen Dorfanlagen mit traditionellen Holzbauten. Diese Arbeit konzentriert sich auf die Holzarchitektur in Fubao und führt eine Studie in drei Ebenen durch: das Dorf, die Bauwerke und die Bauteile. So werden die Gebäude in der ursprünglichen Umgebung und auch im historischen Kontext mithilfe der Analyse der Detailmerkmale untersucht. Dadurch werden die Baugeschichte und die Baukultur der einheimischen Holzarchitektur veranschaulicht., Fubao in the Sichuan Basin is one of the few well-preserved villages with traditional timber buildings. This dissertation focuses on the timber architecture in Fubao and carries out a research in three levels: the village, the buildings and the components. In this way, the buildings are examined in their original environment und historical context, aided by analysing the detail features. Thereby, the construction history and architectural culture of the local timber architecture are illustrated.
