Abstract

Because of the travel restrictions between China and other countries of our keynote speaker, the 9th annual 2021 International Conference on Material Science and Environmental Engineering [MSEE2021] was held on November 27th, 2021 (Virtual Conference). The conference was held via Tencent Meeting Application. MSEE2021 aims to bring researchers, engineers, and students to the areas of Material Science and Environmental Engineering. MSEE2021 features unique mixed topics of Material Science and Advanced Materials, Material Engineering and Application, Environmental Science and Engineering and Mechanical Design and Technology. We received over 197 submissions from various parts of the world. The Technical Program Committee worked very hard to have all manuscripts reviewed before the review deadline. All the accepted papers have been submitted to strict peer-review, and selected based on originality, significance and clarity for the purpose of the conference. The conference program is extremely profound and featuring high-impact presentations of selected papers and additional late-breaking contributions. We sincerely hope that the conference would not only show the participants a broad overview of the latest research results on related fields, but also provide them with a significant platform for academic connection and exchange. There are two keynote speakers and four invited sessions. The keynote speakers are internationally recognized leading experts in their research fields, who have demonstrated outstanding proficiency and have achieved distinction in their profession. The proceedings would be published by IOP Journal of Physics Conference Series. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the members of Technical Program Committee and organizers for their enthusiasm, time, and expertise. Abstract

In recent years, safety driving has attracted growing interest from the scientific and the industrial communities. This interest is meant to reduce the road accidents caused by driver behavior, fatigue, drugs, etc. Drowsy driving is one of the first factors of road accidents; it compromises driving ability by reducing alertness and attentiveness, delaying reaction times, etc. In this paper, a solution to prevent road accidents based on driver drowsiness detection that can be connected to the other Electronic Control Units (ECUs) in the vehicle network through the Controller Area Network Protocol (CAN) Bus to act on the functionalities of the vehicle when the driver starts feeling (yawning) or become drowsy has been proposed. The proposed solution has achieved an average accuracy of 99.10%. The simulation results confirm that the proposed system can efficiently detect driver drowsiness and warn the driver before anything undesired happens in order to ensure a sufficient and acceptable level of safety. Abstract

International audience; In this work, we have synthesized precursor gels of copper molybdate with various chelating agents (glycine, polyacrylic acid, citric acid). After heating at adequate temperatures, the obtained precursors led to the pure phase α-CuMoO4, whose morphology and grain size depend on the chemical nature of the chelating agent used.

Abstract

In this paper, The researchers present the conception, the realization and the experimentation of a photovoltaic (PV) system provided with a sun tracker reliable and low cost operating at dual axis. The tracker's role is to orient the PV generator, whose weight is about 9 Kg, perpendicular to the sun with very good accuracy. This tracking is based on the use of four LDR sensors, which detect the intensity of light scattered by a sun processing unit, from command and control (UTCC), which manages all of the sun tracking tasks (the end detection of parcours, regulation of the power supplied by the PV panels (Command MPPT), ...). The results obtained show a significant improvement of the energy produced, compared to conventional PV installations where generators are fixed and oriented south at a tilt 45°. During a day of operation, improvement could reach 41% and consumption of the tracking does not exceed 0.55% of the energy production produced by the PV generator (an improvement of 5% compared to existing trackers).
