1. Goldstone bosons on celestial sphere and conformal soft theorems

Abstract

Abstract In this paper, we study celestial amplitudes of Goldstone bosons and conformal soft theorems. Motivated by the success of soft bootstrap in momentum space and the important role of the soft limit behavior of tree-level amplitudes, our goal is to extend some of the methods to the celestial sphere. The crucial ingredient of the calculation is the Mellin transformation, which transforms four-dimensional scattering amplitudes to correlation functions of primary operators in the celestial CFT. The soft behavior of the amplitude is then translated to the singularities of the correlator. Only for amplitudes in “UV completed theories” (with sufficiently good high energy behavior) the Mellin integration can be properly performed. In all other cases, the celestial amplitude is only defined in a distributional sense with delta functions. We provide many examples of celestial amplitudes in UV-completed models, including linear sigma models and Z-theory, which is a certain completion of the SU(N) non-linear sigma model. We also comment on the BCFW-like and soft recursion relations for celestial amplitudes and the extension of soft bootstrap ideas.

Abstract

Abstract The nonlocal order parameters of the QCD chiral symmetry breaking, namely the nonanomalous three-point Green functions of the quark bilinears belonging to the odd intrinsic parity sector, are studied within the framework of the Resonance chiral theory. The general form of these correlators is then matched with various high energy constraints: the leading and sub-leading OPE for all three momenta simultaneously large, the leading OPE for two momenta large and the leading and sub-leading Brodsky-Lepage limit for the corresponding transition form factor. In order to satisfy these constraints, the Resonance chiral theory has to be enlarged with additional resonance multiplets and with higher derivative operators as well. We discuss a minimal extension of this kind in detail and present corresponding correlators in a closed form. The remaining free parameters are then constrained from lattice data. As a phenomenological application, we discuss the pion-pole contribution to the muon g − 2 and the decay π 0 → e + e − .

Abstract

Abstract In this work, higher-derivative corrections of the non-linear sigma model of both even and odd intrinsic-parity sectors are systematically studied, focusing on ordered amplitudes of flavor scalars in massless limit. It should correspond to a theory known as chiral perturbation theory (ChPT) without external sources and with only single-trace operators. We briefly overview its formal development and apply new S-matrix methods to its amplitude constructions. The bottom-up analysis of the tree-level amplitudes of different orders and multiplicities focuses on the formal structure of general ChPT. Possible theoretical simplifications based on the Kleiss-Kuijf and Bern-Carrasco-Johansson relations are presented. Finally, in the same context, the comparison with the so-called Z-function, which is connected with string theory, is also discussed.

4. Extended DBI and its generalizations from graded soft theorems

Abstract

Abstract We analyze a theory known as extended DBI, which interpolates between DBI and the U(N) × U(N)/U(N) non-linear sigma model and represents a nontrivial example of theories with mixed power counting. We discuss symmetries of the action and their geometrical origin; the special case of SU(2) extended DBI theory is treated in great detail. The revealed symmetries lead to a new type of graded soft theorem that allows us to prove on-shell constructibility of the tree-level S-matrix. It turns out that the on-shell constructibility of the full extended DBI remains valid, even if its DBI sub-theory is modified in such a way to preserve its own on-shell constructibility. We thus propose a slight generalization of the DBI sub-theory, which we call 2-scale DBI theory. Gluing it back to the rest of the extended DBI theory gives a new set of on-shell reconstructible theories — the 2-scale extended DBI theory and its descendants. The uniqueness of the parent theory is confirmed by the bottom-up approach that uses on-shell amplitude methods exclusively.

Abstract

Abstract We use the amplitude soft bootstrap method to explore the space of effective field theories (EFT) of massless vectors and scalars. It is known that demanding vanishing soft limits fixes uniquely a special class of EFTs: non-linear sigma model, scalar Galileon and Born-Infeld theories. Based on the amplitudes analysis, we conjecture no-go theorems for higher-derivative vector theories and theories with coupled vectors and scalars. We then allow for more general soft theorems where the non-trivial part of the soft limit of the (n+1)-pt amplitude is equal to a linear combination of n-pt amplitudes. We derive the form of these soft theorems for general power-counting and spins of particles and use it as an input into the soft bootstrap method in the case of Galileon power-counting and coupled scalar-vector theories. We show that this unifies the description of existing Galileon theories and leads us to the discovery of a new exceptional theory: Special scalar-vector Galileon.

Abstract In this paper we initiate the study of multi-flavor Galileon theories using the methods of scattering amplitudes. We explore this topic from different perspectives and extend the techniques employed so far mainly in the single-flavor case. This includes soft theorems, generalized soft theorems with non-trivial right-hand side, Galileon dualities, soft bootstrap and bonus relations. We demonstrate new properties on two examples, the multi-flavor U(N) Galileon and the three-flavor U(2)/U(1) Galileon.

Abstract We present a generalisation of the flavour-ordering method applied to the chiral nonlinear sigma model with any number of flavours. We use an extended Lagrangian with terms containing any number of derivatives, organised in a power-counting hierarchy. The method allows diagrammatic computations at tree-level with any number of legs at any order in the power-counting. Using an automated implementation of the method, we calculate amplitudes ranging from 12 legs at leading order, O $$ \mathcal{O} $$ (p 2), to 6 legs at next-to- next-to-next-to-leading order, O $$ \mathcal{O} $$ (p 8). In addition to this, we generalise several properties of amplitudes in the nonlinear sigma model to higher orders. These include the double soft limit and the uniqueness of stripped amplitudes.

In this letter, we construct the recursion relations for one-loop planar integrands in the SU(N) non-linear sigma model. This generalizes the soft recursions for tree-level amplitudes in a variety of quantum field theories with special soft limits. The main ingredient is the definition of the one-loop planar integrand, which is fixed by cuts in the sense of generalized unitarity and by requiring the Adler zero on all external legs. We show that this does not uniquely fix the integrand, so additional constraints on the soft behavior of the loop momentum have to be imposed. Our work is the first step in extending modern amplitudes methods for loop amplitudes to effective field theories with special soft limits., Comment: 5 pages

Abstract

Searches for the lepton number violating $K^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{-} \mu^{+} e^{+}$ decay and the lepton flavour violating $K^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+} \mu^{-} e^{+}$ and $\pi^{0} \rightarrow \mu^{-} e^{+}$ decays are reported using data collected by the NA62 experiment at CERN in $2017$-$2018$. No evidence for these decays is found and upper limits of the branching ratios are obtained at 90% confidence level: $\mathcal{B}(K^{+}\rightarrow\pi^{-}\mu^{+}e^{+})

Abstract

A search for the $K^+ \to \pi^+ X$ decay, where $X$ is a long-lived feebly interacting particle, is performed through an interpretation of the $K^+ \to \pi^+ \nu \bar\nu$ analysis of data collected in 2017 by the NA62 experiment at CERN. Two ranges of $X$ masses, $0-110$ MeV/$c^2$ and $154-260$ MeV/$c^2$, and lifetimes above 100 ps are considered. The limits set on the branching ratio, BR($K^+ \to \pi^+ X$), are competitive with previously reported searches in the first mass range, and improve on current limits in the second mass range by more than an order of magnitude. Abstract

Journal of high energy physics 02(2), 201 (2021). doi:10.1007/JHEP02(2021)201, The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS reports a study of a sample of $4 \times10^{9}$ tagged $\pi^0$ mesons from $K^+ \to \pi^+ \pi^0 (\gamma)$, searching for the decay of the $\pi^0$ to invisible particles. No signal is observed in excess of the expected background fluctuations. An upper limit of $4.4 \times10^{-9}$ is set on the branching ratio at 90% confidence level, improving on previous results by a factor of 60. This result can also be interpreted as a model-independent upper limit on the branching ratio for the decay $K^+ \to \pi^+ X$, where $X$ is a particle escaping detection with mass in the range 0.110-0.155 GeV$/c^2$ and rest lifetime greater than 100 ps. Model-dependent upper limits are obtained assuming $X$ to be an axion-like particle with dominant fermion couplings or a dark scalar mixing with the Standard Model Higgs boson., Published by SISSA, [Trieste]

Abstract

International audience; We present and develop a general dispersive framework allowing us to construct representations of the amplitudes for the processes $P\pi\to\pi\pi$, $P=K, \eta$, valid at the two-loop level in the low-energy expansion. The construction proceeds through a two-step iteration, starting from the tree-level amplitudes and their S and P partial-wave projections. The one-loop amplitudes are obtained for all possible configurations of pion masses. The second iteration is performed in the cases where either all masses of charged and neutral pions are equal or for the decay into three neutral pions. Issues related to analyticity properties of the amplitudes and their lowest partial-wave projections are given particular attention.

Abstract

We analyze a theory known as extended DBI, which interpolates between DBI and the $U(N)\times U(N)/U(N)$ non-linear sigma model and represents a nontrivial example of theories with mixed power counting. We discuss symmetries of the action and their geometrical origin; the special case of SU(2) extended DBI theory is treated in great detail. The revealed symmetries lead to a new type of graded soft theorem that allows us to prove on-shell constructibility of the tree-level S-matrix. It turns out that the on-shell constructibility of the full extended DBI remains valid, even if its DBI sub-theory is modified in such a way to preserve its own on-shell constructibility. We thus propose a slight generalization of the DBI sub-theory, which we call 2-scale DBI theory. Gluing it back to the rest of the extended DBI theory gives a new set of on-shell reconstructible theories -- the 2-scale extended DBI theory and its descendants. Abstract

The NA62 experiment reports the branching ratio measurement $$ \mathrm{BR}\left({K}^{+}\to {\pi}^{+}\nu \overline{\nu}\right)=\left({10.6}_{-3.4}^{+4.0}\left|{}_{\mathrm{stat}}\right.\pm {0.9}_{\mathrm{syst}}\right)\times {10}^{-11} $$ BR K + → π + ν ν ¯ = 10.6 − 3.4 + 4.0 stat ± 0.9 syst × 10 − 11 at 68% CL, based on the observation of 20 signal candidates with an expected background of 7.0 events from the total data sample collected at the CERN SPS during 2016–2018. This provides evidence for the very rare K+→$$ {\pi}^{+}\nu \overline{\nu} $$ π + ν ν ¯ decay, observed with a significance of 3.4σ. The experiment achieves a single event sensitivity of (0.839 ± 0.054) × 10−11, corresponding to 10.0 events assuming the Standard Model branching ratio of (8.4 ± 1.0) × 10−11. This measurement is also used to set limits on BR(K+→ π+X), where X is a scalar or pseudo-scalar particle. Details are given of the analysis of the 2018 data sample, which corresponds to about 80% of the total data sample.

Abstract

The NA62 experiment reports an investigation of the $$ {K}^{+}\to {\pi}^{+}\nu \overline{\nu} $$ K + → π + ν ν ¯ mode from a sample of K+ decays collected in 2017 at the CERN SPS. The experiment has achieved a single event sensitivity of (0.389 ± 0.024) × 10−10, corresponding to 2.2 events assuming the Standard Model branching ratio of (8.4 ± 1.0) × 10−11. Two signal candidates are observed with an expected background of 1.5 events. Combined with the result of a similar analysis conducted by NA62 on a smaller data set recorded in 2016, the collaboration now reports an upper limit of 1.78 × 10−10 for the $$ {K}^{+}\to {\pi}^{+}\nu \overline{\nu} $$ K + → π + ν ν ¯ branching ratio at 90% CL. This, together with the corresponding 68% CL measurement of ($$ {0.48}_{-0.48}^{+0.72} $$ 0.48 − 0.48 + 0.72 ) × 10−10, are currently the most precise results worldwide, and are able to constrain some New Physics models that predict large enhancements still allowed by previous measurements.

In this paper, we investigate the high-energy behavior of two-point and three-point Green functions of the QCD chiral currents and densities using the framework of the operator product expansion in the chiral limit. In detail, we study the contributions of the quark, gluon, quark-gluon and four-quark condensates to all the relevant non-vanishing three-point correlators.

Abstract

Description of low-energy interactions of Goldstone particles of spontaneously broken symmetries is traditionally done using the most general action based on the underlying symmetry. All such possible terms are taken up to a given order in the low energy expansion. The explicitly constructed Lagrangian can be then used for calculating given scattering amplitudes. However this process is not very efficient as can be demonstrated already at the tree-level for relatively small number of external particles. The modern amplitude methods offer different approach where it is possible to avoid redundancy stemming from the standard Feynman diagram calculations. We will explicitly show this in the simplest case of multi-pion scatterings. The methods represent not only an efficient way of calculating scattering amplitudes but can be employed in theoretical studies of their interesting properties. This allows among other things to classify the effective models for scalar bosons. A brief discussion of higher spin will be also given.

In this paper, we initiate the study of multi-flavor Galileon theories using the methods of scattering amplitudes. We explore this topic from different perspectives and extend the techniques employed so far mainly in the single-flavor case. This includes soft theorems, generalized soft theorems with non-trivial right-hand side, Galileon dualities, soft bootstrap and bonus relations. Abstract

The NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS is designed to conduct precision tests of the Standard Model by studying rare decays of charged kaons. NA62 took data in 2016-2018 and collected a large sample of charged kaon decays into final states with multiple charged particles. The sensitivity to a range of lepton flavour and lepton number violating kaon decays provided by this data set is improved over the previously reported measurements. Results from the searches of $K^+→ π^-l^+l^+$ decays with a partial NA62 data sample are presented.

Abstract

Correlators of the odd-intrinsic parity sector of QCD form a significant part of all Green functions of chiral currents. To calculate contribution of resonances to the correlators of the odd sector at NLO, one can use the resonance Lagrangian, which, however, still contains many unknown coupling constants. One of the ways of obtaining them is to compare the resonance contribution with the behaviour of such correlator at high energies. The operator product expansion (OPE) is a useful framework for such an approach. The matching leads to important coupling constants constraints that are expressed in terms of QCD condensates.

Abstract

The results of a search for π decays to a photon and an invisible massive dark photon at the NA62 experiment at the CERN SPS are reported. From a total of 4.12 × 10 tagged π mesons, no signal is observed. Assuming a kinetic-mixing interaction, limits are set on the dark photon coupling to the ordinary photon as a function of the dark photon mass, improving on previous searches in the mass range 60–110 MeV/c. The present results are interpreted in terms of an upper limit of the branching ratio of the electro-weak decay π→ γνν¯ , improving the current limit by more than three orders of magnitude.

Abstract

The NA62 experiment at CERN reports a search for the lepton number violating decays K+ -> pi(-)e(+)e(+) and K+ -> pi(-)mu(+)mu(+) using a data sample collected in 2017. No signals are observed, and upper limits on the branching fractions of these decays of 2.2 x 10(-10) and 4.2 x 10(-11) are obtained, respectively, at 90% confidence level. These upper limits improve on previously reported measurements by factors of 3 and 2, respectively., It is a pleasure to express our appreciation to the staff of the CERN laboratory and the technical staffs of the participating laboratories and universities for their efforts in the operation of the experiment and data processing. Abstract

In this letter we discuss new soft theorems for the Goldstone boson amplitudes with non-vanishing soft limits. The standard argument is that the non-linearly realized shift symmetry leads to the vanishing of scattering amplitudes in the soft limit, known as the Alder zero. This statement involves certain assumptions of the absence of cubic vertices and the absence of linear terms in the transformations of fields. For theories which fail to satisfy these conditions, we derive a new soft theorem which involves certain linear combinations of lower point amplitudes, generalizing the Adler zero statement. We provide an explicit example of $SU(N)/SU(N-1)$ sigma model which was also recently studied in the context of $U(1)$ fibrated models. The soft theorem can be then used as an input into the modified soft recursion relations for the reconstruction of all tree-level amplitudes., Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures

Abstract

The decay $K^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+}\nu\overline{\nu}$ has a very precisely predicted branching ratio ($\sim 8\times 10^{-11}$) and it is one of the best candidates to reveal indirect effects of new physics. The NA62 experiment at CERN SPS is designed to measure the branching ratio of the $K^{+} \rightarrow \pi^{+}\nu\overline{\nu}$ with a decay-in-flight technique, novel for this channel. NA62 has taken data firstly in 2016 with the aim to reach the SM sensitivity. It has then collected 10 times more statistics in 2017 and a similar amount of data is expected from the 2018 run. The preliminary result on the full 2016 data set and the prospects for future developments are presented here.

Abstract

We provide the complete set of radiative corrections to the Dalitz decays ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{(\ensuremath{'})}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ beyond the soft-photon approximation, i.e., over the whole range of the Dalitz plot and with no restrictions on the energy of a radiative photon. The corrections inevitably depend on the ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{(\ensuremath{'})}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}^{*}{\ensuremath{\gamma}}^{(*)}$ transition form factors. For the singly virtual transition form factor appearing, e.g., in the bremsstrahlung correction, recent dispersive calculations are used. For the one-photon-irreducible contribution at the one-loop level (for the doubly virtual form factor), we use a vector-meson-dominance-inspired model while taking into account the $\ensuremath{\eta}\text{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ mixing.

Abstract

A search for heavy neutral lepton production in $K^+$ decays using a data sample collected with a minimum bias trigger by the NA62 experiment at CERN in 2015 is reported. Upper limits at the $10^{-7}$ to $10^{-6}$ level are established on the elements of the extended neutrino mixing matrix $|U_{\ell 4}|^2$ ($\ell=e,\mu$) for heavy neutral lepton mass in the range $170-448~{\rm MeV}/c^2$. This improves on the results from previous production searches in $K^+$ decays, setting more stringent limits and extending the mass range., Comment: Version accepted for publication in Phys.Lett.B (12/01/2018)

Abstract

We present a bottom-up construction of vector effective field theories using the infrared structure of scattering amplitudes. Our results employ two distinct probes of soft kinematics: multiple soft limits and single soft limits after dimensional reduction, applicable in four and general dimensions, respectively. Both approaches uniquely specify the Born-Infeld (BI) model as the only theory of vectors completely fixed by certain infrared conditions which generalize the Adler zero for pions. These soft properties imply new recursion relations for on-shell scattering amplitudes in BI theory and suggest the existence of a wider class of vector effective field theories., 6 pages, 2 figures

Abstract

In this study, we revisit and complete the full next-to-leading order corrections to pseudoscalar double-Dalitz decays within the soft-photon approximation. Comparing to the previous study, we find small differences, which are nevertheless relevant for extracting information about the pseudoscalar transition form factors. Abstract

We provide a new value for the ratio $R={\Gamma(\pi^0\to e^+e^-\gamma(\gamma))}/{\Gamma(\pi^0\to\gamma\gamma)}=11.978(6)\times10^{-3}$, which is by two orders of magnitude more precise than the current Particle Data Group average. It is obtained using the complete set of the next-to-leading-order radiative corrections in the QED sector, and incorporates up-to-date values of the $\pi^0$-transition-form-factor slope. The ratio $R$ translates into the branching ratios of the two main $\pi^0$ decay modes: $\mathcal{B}(\pi^0\to\gamma\gamma)=98.8131(6)\,\%$ and $\mathcal{B}(\pi^0\to e^+e^-\gamma(\gamma))=1.1836(6)\,\%$., Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure, 3 tables; v3: version accepted by PRL, major text improvements, figure and references added; v2: minor changes, references updated

Abstract

The NA48/2 experiment at CERN collected a very large sample of charged kaon decays into multiple final states. These data allow measurements related to QCD. We obtained our final measurement of the charged kaon semileptonic decays form factors based on 4.28 million Ke3 and 2.91 million Kμ3 selected decays, with the smallest uncertainty for Ke3 and a competitive result for Kμ3 and leading to the most precise combined Kl3 result coming from the kaon sector that reduces the form factor uncertainty of/Vus/. The NA62 experiment at CERN SPS is designed to measure the branching ratio of the K+ → π+νν decay with 10% precision. K → πνν is one of the theoretically cleanest meson decay where to look for indirect effects of new physics complementary to LHC searches. NA62 took data in 2015-2017; the analysis of a partial data set allows to reach the Standard Model sensitivity. The status of the experiments will be presented.

Abstract

The study of the simplest case of effective field theory – the chiral SU ( N ) nonlinear sigma model will be presented. For last several decades it has played an extremely important role not only in the low energy phenomenology but also in many other areas of theoretical physics. It will be shown that the scattering amplitudes of n Goldstone bosons can be reconstructed using BCFW-like recursion relations. This method does not rely on the Lagrangian description and the only input is the four-point amplitudes together with the known analytic properties.

The NA62 experiment at CERN is designed to measure the branching ratio (BR) of this decay with 10\% precision. NA62 has been successfully launched in October 2014, took data in pilot runs in 2014 and 2015 reaching the final designed beam intensity. The NA62 experimental setup is illustrated and quality of data acquired in view of the final measurement is reported. Abstract

We systematically explore the space of scalar effective field theories (EFTs) consistent with a Lorentz invariant and local S-matrix. To do so we define an EFT classification based on four parameters characterizing 1) the number of derivatives per interaction, 2) the soft properties of amplitudes, 3) the leading valency of the interactions, and 4) the spacetime dimension. Carving out the allowed space of EFTs, we prove that exceptional EFTs like the non-linear sigma model, Dirac-Born-Infeld theory, and the special Galileon lie precisely on the boundary of allowed theory space. Using on-shell momentum shifts and recursion relations, we prove that EFTs with arbitrarily soft behavior are forbidden and EFTs with leading valency much greater than the spacetime dimension cannot have enhanced soft behavior. Abstract

We briefly summarize experimental and theoretical results on the rare decay π0 → e+e−. Two-loop QED corrections are reviewed and the bremsstrahlung contribution beyond the soft-photon approximation is analytically calculated. Using the leading logarithm approximation, the possible contribution of QCD corrections is estimated. The complete result can be used to fit the value of the contact interaction coupling χ(r) to the recent KTeV experiment with the result χ(r)(Mρ) = 4.5±1.0.

Abstract

The independent operator basis of the most important resonances in the odd-intrinsic parity sector of QCD allows us to construct Lagrangians for corresponding Feynman diagrams of several types of interaction channels of the mesons and resonances.Here, we will discuss all three-point current correlators non-trivial for this sector. We briefly summarize their basic properties and high energy behaviour via the operator product expansion (OPE) framework. We also show that the vector field formalism is not compatible with the OPE, and for this reason the antisymmetric field formalism is a more suitable choice. We also briefly introduce some fundamental phenomological aspects that could be useful in the next studies.

Abstract

A review of familiar results of the three-point Green functions of currents in the odd-intrinsic parity sector of QCD is presented. Such Green functions include very well-known examples of VVP , VAS or AAP correlators. We also shortly present some of the new results for VVA and AAA Green functions with a discussion of their high-energy behaviour and its relation to the QCD condensates.

Abstract

$K→\pi v\bar{v}$ is one of the theoretically cleanest meson decay where to look for indirect effects of new physics complementary to LHC searches. The NA62 experiment at CERN SPS is designed to measure the branching ratio of the $K^+→\pi^+ v\bar{v}$ decay with 10% precision. NA62 took data in 2015-2017; the analysis of a partial data set allows to reach the Standard Model sensitivity. The status of the experiments will be here reviewed, and prospects will be presented.

We discuss the renormalization of the $1^{--}$ vector meson propagator within Resonance chiral theory at one loop. Using the particular form of the interaction Lagrangian we show that additional poles of the renormalized propagator corresponding to $1^{+-}$ degrees of freedom can be generated. Abstract

The NA48/2 collaboration has shown clear experimental evidence for a cusp in the data for K -> pi pi^0 pi^0. This effect can be used to extract information on the pi-pi scattering lengths. We address this issue using a two-loop dispersive construction of pi pi -> pi pi and K -> pi pi pi amplitudes in the presence of isospin breaking.

The rare decay K + ! p + n n is an excellent process to probe Standard Model and indirectly search for new physics, complementary to the ongoing direct LHC searches. The NA62 experiment at CERN SPS aims to collect about 100 of such events in two years of data taking, keeping the background at the level of 10%. Abstract

We have recalculated the Mikaelian and Smith radiative corrections to the Dalitz decay π 0 → e + e − γ beyond the soft-photon approximation, i.e. over the whole range of the Dalitz plot and with no restrictions on the radiative photon. In contrast to the previous calculations, we did not neglect the terms of order higher than m 2 and also included the one-photon irreducible contribution at one-loop level. The results can then be used also for heavier particles in the final state, e.g. for the process η → µ + µ − γ.
