RESUMEN: El presente trabajo tiene por objeto identificar y precisar el concepto/principio de reunificación familiar como un límite a los poderes de la Administración del Estado en materia de migración y extranjería. Así, a partir de una revisión de las normas internacionales y de la jurisprudencia de tribunales supranacionales en materia de derechos humanos, se otorga un contenido a este principio, identificando algunos criterios que se han aplicado en este ámbito. Ello sirve de base para analizar la legislación y la jurisprudencia chilena al respecto constatando como se ha venido aplicando progresivamente, llegando ahora a tener un pleno reconocimiento en el derecho interno, tanto en materia de protección de los refugiados como en la legislación de migración y extranjería en general.

The fatty acid profile of crevalle jack was compared with that of Atlantic bluefin tuna, Atlantic Spanish mackerel, red snapper, and Nile tilapia. Crevalle jack and Atlantic Spanish mackerel showed similarities in their fatty acid profiles, with the saturated fatty acid > monounsaturated fatty acid > polyunsaturated fatty acid pattern. Atlantic bluefin tuna and red snapper followed a similar pattern to each other, with the polyunsaturated fatty acid > saturated fatty acid > monounsaturated fatty acid pattern, and the pattern for Nile tilapia was saturated fatty acid > monounsaturated fatty acid ≈ polyunsaturated fatty acid. In winter, the DHA+EPA content of crevalle jack (493.2 mg/100 g fillet) was 37% lower than Atlantic bluefin tuna and Atlantic Spanish mackerel, 35% higher than for the red snapper, and 2.8 fold higher than for the Nile tilapia. The best nutritional indices were for Atlantic bluefin tuna > red snapper > Atlantic Spanish mackerel > crevalle jack > Nile tilapia.

Chemometric models using mid-infrared (MID-FTIR) spectroscopy were developed for detection and quantification of oxytetracycline and sulfathiazole contamination in honey samples. Low standard error of calibration (SEC) and prediction (SEP) values were achieved using a partial least squares algorithm (SEC= 1.02 and SEP=1.39 for oxytetracycline and SEC=1.24 and SEP=1.79 for sulfathiazole). Chemometric model-predicted concentrations of antibiotics were compared with ELISA results with coefficient of determination R 2=0.8577 for oxytetracycline and R 2=0.8216 for sulfathiazole. Classification of antibiotic contaminated honey samples and uncontaminated samples was carried out using Soft Independent Modeling Class Analogy analysis with a 100% correct classification rate with interclass distances in the range of 6.93–13.3. MID-FTIR chemometric models developed for detection and quantification of oxitetracycline and sulfathiazole in honey samples have been demonstrated.

Se realizo una revision sistematica donde su objetivo principal es reconocer la evidencia que existe sobre la terapia periodontal quirurgico vs no quirurgico en la periodontitis cronica. El motivo de este proyecto es establecer los beneficios, necesidades y dudas acerca de que tipo de terapia periodontal quirurgica o no quirurgica es mas eficaz en el tratamiento de la periodontitis cronica. Se realizo una revision sistematica de la literatura basada en ensayos clinicos efectuados a nivel mundial sobre la eficacia de dichas terapias, teniendo en cuenta articulos reportados entre el ano 2000 y 2014, considerando los criterios evaluados se evidencio que la terapia quirurgica da una mayor ganancia a nivel de insercion y reduccion de la bolsa periodontal.

The AIM of this research is to investigate the form and function of the unstructured play of seven children in transition stage (4 to 5 year-old) in the city of Punta Arenas. The children considered in this study are from preschool educational institutions living in the region of Magallanes and the Chilean Antartica. Under the theoretical foundations of Occupational Science it is expected to identify the relevant aspects of the children’s behavior in unstructured play, especially those that may help, or having negative effects in the school performance. The methodology used in this case is qualitative, being its method the case study. The main results demonstrate similarities regarding the functions of the children’s unstructured play, being these mainly “motor-social” functions that have an effect in the school performance. It can be concluded then, that unstructured play helps to develop the children’s learning strategies. It can be used as a diagnosis tool because it permits the observation of adaptive behaviors in children, and also allows determining signs of alert considering the child’s age of development.
