Bu çalışma, farklı ekolojik koşullara sahip otlaklarda, kanopi düzeyinde klorofil içeriğini hiperspektral vejetasyon indeksleri kullanarak tahmin etmeyi hedeflemiştir. Bunun için ~500 m, ~1200 m ve ~1400 m olmak üzere üç farklı yükseltiye sahip otlak sahada, vejetasyonundaki klorofil içeriği verileri ile spektral verileri kanopi düzeyinde toplanmıştır. Bu işlemler 50X50 cm’lik kuadratlar içerisinde ve 213 farklı noktada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama metodu olarak amaçlı örneklem ve transekt yöntemleri tercih edilmiştir. Toplanan veriler önce elde edildikleri yükselti basamağına göre (saha-temelli) daha sonra da içerdiği klorofil miktarına göre (miktar-temelli) iki kategoriye ayrılmış ve değerlendirmeler bu kategoriler üzerinden yapılmıştır. Analizler için önce spektral eğriler yorumlanmış, daha sonra da bu verilerden hiperspektral vejetasyon indeksleri üretilmiştir. Vejetasyon indekslerinin klorofil içeriğindeki varyasyonları açıklama gücünü modellemek için ise doğrusal, üstel, logaritmik ve üs fonksiyon modelleri kullanarak regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Bulgular; tüm verilerin değerlendirildiği heterojen veri setinde %85’in üzerinde, çalışma sahasının yükseltisinde göre yapılan analizlerde (saha-temelli) ise %90’ın üzerinde bir açıklama gücüne ulaşıldığını göstermiştir. Bu sahalarda, vejetasyondaki klorofil miktarı arttıkça modellerin gücünün belirgin bir şekilde azaldığı da ortaya konulmuştur. Bir başka dikkat çekici bulgu farklı çalışma alanlarından toplanarak benzer klorofil içeriklerine sahip örneklemler kullanılarak oluşturulan veri tabanında (miktar-temelli) açıklama gücünün belirgin bir biçimde düşmesi olmuştur., This study aims to estimate the chlorophyll content at the canopy level using the hyperspectral vegetation indices in grasslands with different ecological conditions. For this purpose, all data were collected from three different elevation steps of ~500 m, ~1200 m, and ~ 1400 m. The operations were performed in 50 × 50 cm quadrates at 213 different locations at the canopy level. Purposeful sampling and transect methods were preferred as the data collection methods. The database was divided into two categories according to the elevation step they were collected (field-based) and the amount of chlorophyll content (quantity-based). Assessments were then made in these two categories and their classes. In the analyses, the spectral curves were interpreted, and the hyperspectral vegetation indices were calculated from the aforementioned databases. Regression analyses were used to model the performances of the vegetation indices and explain the chlorophyll content variations. For this, linear, exponential, logarithmic, and power function models were employed. The results show an explanation power of over 85% in the data set containing all the data and over 90% in the field-based data set. In contrast, the power of the models significantly decreased as the chlorophyll content increased.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate and evaluate the position of modal school songs used in singing activities in our schools, and in music education, in line with expert opinions. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to music teachers, choir conductors and academicians working in the field to investigate the teaching and learning situations of modal school songs in music lessons. Materials and Methods: Before the implementation, the items in the questionnaire were tested by consulting expert opinion. Seventy-four experts were reached in the survey study, and their opinions were recorded. In the study, the song types in the song repertoire were explained separately according to their genres, and it was stated which of these genres belonged to the modal song type. A descriptive general survey method was used in the research. The content validity of each item in the questionnaire was analyzed with the Lawshe technique. The experts answered all the items in the questionnaire, considering the expressions corresponding to the numbers 1 to 5. In the findings and comment section, the solution to the research problems was analyzed and evaluated with statistical methods.Findings: In the expert opinions on the teaching of modal songs, it was determined that the students could quickly learn the songs, they are catchy and are sung in a motivated way by the students, while it is determined that the modal school songs are included in the music curriculum adequately and contain the necessary qualifications in terms of education. Highlights: In light of the results, based on the music curriculum's approach to maqam songs, the use of such melodies in educational music composing classes, in composing studies in the form of Turkish music, in maqam (hearing-speaking-writing) works, in state broadcasting organs such as radio and TV, and in cultural activities carried out by the Ministry of Culture, It has been suggested that the number of scientific studies on this subject should be increased and that modal song genre should gain a universal quality with these applications.

Bu çalışmada yer bilimleri alanında önemli eserler üretmiş olan Birûnî’nin Fiziki Coğrafya konusunda ortya koyduğu katkılar incelenmiştir. Bu hedef doğrultusunda Bîrûnî’nin günümüze kadar ulaşan Türkçe yada İngilizceye çevrilen bazı kitapları esas alınmıştır. Tahdid (Tahdîdü Nihâyâti’l-Emâkin), Hindistan (Tahkiku Mâ li’l Hind), Maziden Kalanlar (El-Âsar el-Bâkiye) aratırmamıza kaynaklık eden eserlerdir. Harizm’in Kat şehrinde doğan Bîrûnî, Coğrafya, Astronomi, Matematik, Felsefe, Din Bilimleri ve diğer birçok alanda çalışmalar yaparak eserler üretti ve açıklamalarda bulundu. Özellikle Fiziki Coğrafyaya yadsınamayacak düzeyde katkı sağladı. Yerkürenin şekli, boyutu ve hareketlerini tartıştı ve günüze yakın sonuçlara ulaştı. Dünya yüzeyinin nasıl şekillendiği ve hangi güçlerin etklili olduğu konusunda gözlemler yaptı ve çağının ilerisinde teoriler geliştirdi. Yer kabuğunun özellikleriyle birlikte erozyon, taşıma ve birikme süreçlerini açıkladı. Güneşin zenital hareketlerini ele aldı. Dünyanın hemde kendi hemde güneş etrafında dönüp ya da dönmediğine dair tartışmalar yaptı. İzostasi ve yer çekimi kuvvetine dair değerlendirmelerde bulundu. Kendi dönemine kadar fiziki coğrafya konusunda yazılmış eserde yer almayan bir çok kavram üzerinde durdu. Hindistan’ın Fiziki coğrayasını yazdı. Hint okyanusundan esen Muson rüzgarlarının özelliklerini, değişim zamanlarını ve çeşitli yönlerdeki hareketlerini değerlendirdi. Yağış oluşum mekanizmalarından birisi oaln orografik tipi ilk açıklmaya çalışan düşünür oldu. Akarsuların yeryüzeyini şekillendirmedeki rollerini inceleyerek fluviyal Jeomorfolojinin temellerini attı. Denizlerin kökenleri, seviyeleri, tuzluluk özellikleri gibi konularda açıklamalarda bulundu. Ayrıca büyük bir denizin Akdeniz ile Hint okyanusu arasındaki bölgeyi kapladığını tespit etti. Denizlerden uzakta ve yüksekte bulunan kayaların içerisinde bulunan canlı kalıntıları olan fosillerin varlığını gözlemledi ve dünya tarihi açısından önemlerini açıkladı. Gelgit hareketlerinin Ay’ın evreleriyle ilişkisini ortaya koydu. Birçok mineralin yoğunluk değerini yüksek doğrulukta belirledi., In this study, the contributions of Birûnî, who produced important works in the field of earth sciences, on Physical Geography were examined. To achive this goal, some of Bîrûnî's books that have survived to the present day, translated into Turkish or English, were taken as basis. Tahdid (Tahdidü Nihhâyâti'l-Emâkin), India (Tahkiku Mâ li'l Hind), The Chornology of Ancient Nations (El-Âsar al-Bakiye) are the works that served as the source of our research. Bîrûnî was born in the city of Kat (Harizm), and studied Geography, Astronomy, Mathematics, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and produced works in many other fields. In particular, his contribution to Physical Geography is undeniable. He discussed the shape, size and movements of the earth and reached present day conclusions. He made observations on how the Earth's surface was shaped and what forces were influential, and he developed theories ahead of his time. He explained the processes of erosion, transport and deposition as well as explaining the characteristics of the earth's crust. Bîrûnî discussed the zenital movements of the sun. He debated whether the earth revolves around itself and the sun. He made evaluations about isostasy and gravitational force. He focused on some concepts that were not included in the work written on physical geography until his time. He wrote the Physical geography of India. Bîrûnî assessed the characteristics of monsoon winds blowing from the Indian ocean, their time of change and movement in various directions. He was the first to define the orographic type, one of the precipitation formation mechanisms. By examining the features of many streams, the philosopher revealed the first examples of Fluvial Geomorphology. The thinker made statements on issues such as the origins of the seas, their levels and salinity characteristics. He also found that a large sea covered the area between the great Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. Bîrûnî observed the existence of fossils, which are the remains of living things, found in rocks far from the seas and at high altitudes, and explained their importance in terms of world history. He revealed the relationship of tidal movements to the phases of the Moon and determined the density value of many minerals with very high accuracy.

İklimin temel elemanlarından biri olan sıcaklık, coğrafi özellikler sebebiyle zamansal ve mekânsal ölçekte bölgeden bölgeye önemli ölçüde değişiklik göstermektedir. Küresel iklim varyasyonlarının bir sonucu olarak İç Anadolu Bölgesi, Türkiye'de sık sık bu değişimlerden etkilenen bölgelerden biridir. İklim değişikliği araştırmaları için sıcaklıklarda meydana gelen eğilim ve değişimlerin tespit edilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada İç Anadolu Bölgesi’nde yer alan Konya İl’inde 1970-2020 periyodundaki 6 istasyonun günlük maksimum ve minimum sıcaklıkları kullanılarak sıcaklık ekstremlerindeki değişimler incelenmiştir. Küresel iklim değişikliğinin neden olduğu etkiyi gözlemleyebildiğimiz WMO (Dünya Meteoroloji Organizasyonu) ve CLIVAR (Okyanus-Atmosfer Sisteminin Değişkenlik ve Öngörülebilirliği)’ın önerdiği 16 sıcaklık indisi uygulanmıştır. Hesaplamalarda R tabanlı bir yazılım olan RClimdex isimli program ve parametrik dağılım göstermeyen Mann Kendall testi kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlara göre; çalışma alanında donlu ve buzlu günlerde azalma eğilimi belirlenmiştir. Göller Yöresi'nde bulunan Akşehir ve Beyşehir istasyonlarının minimum sıcaklıkların maksimumu indisinde diğer istasyonlardan farklı olarak azalmalar tespit edilmiştir. Tarım ürünlerinin büyüme süresini kısaltmak için olumlu etki yapan gelişme sezonu uzunluğu indisi artış eğilimi göstermiştir. Sıcaklık indislerinin zamansal değişimleri incelendiğinde genel olarak ekstrem minimum sıcaklık indislerinde özellikle azalmalar gözlenirken ekstrem maksimum sıcaklık indislerinde artışlar yaşanmıştır. Konya’daki ekstrem sıcaklıklarda gözlenen artışlar hem beşerî hem de ekolojik açıdan olumsuz etki yaratmaktadır., Temperature, which is one of the basic elements of climate, varies considerably from region to region on a temporal and spatial scale due to geographical features. As a result of global climate variations, the Central Anatolia region is one of the regions in Turkey that is frequently affected by these changes. For climate change research, it is important to determine the trends and changes in temperatures. In this study, the changes in temperature extremes were examined by using the daily maximum and minimum temperatures of 6 stations in the 1970-2020 period in Konya, which is located in the Central Anatolia region. 16 temperature indices proposed by WMO (World Meteorological Organization) and CLIVAR (Variability and Predictability of the Ocean-Atmosphere System), where we can observe the effect caused by global climate change, have been applied. R-based software called RClimdex and Mann Kendall test, which does not show parametric distribution, were used in the calculations. According to the results; In the study area, a decreasing trend was determined on frosty and icy days. Unlike the other stations, decreases were determined in the maximum of minimum temperatures index of Akşehir and Beyşehir stations located in the Lakes Region. The index of the length of the growing season, which has a positive effect on shortening the growth period of agricultural products, showed an increasing trend. When the temporal changes of the temperature indices were examined, decreases were observed in the extreme minimum temperature indices in general, while increases were observed in the extreme maximum temperature indices. The increases observed in extreme temperatures in Konya have negative effects both in terms of human and ecological aspects.
