Bu çalışma ile ortaokul öğrencilerinin demokratik vatandaş kavramına bakış açılarının metaforlar aracılığıyla belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Genel amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada, nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan betimsel analiz kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını, 2016-2017 Eğitim Öğretim yılında Kocaeli ilinin Körfez ilçesinde yer alan toplam 450 ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Verilere yarı yapılandırılmış formlarla ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin yazdıkları metafor ve açıklamalar bu araştırmada temel veri kaynağı olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulardan, ortaokul öğrencilerinin demokratik vatandaş kavramını özgürlük, adalet, birlik- beraberlik, katılım, eşitlik, vatanseverlik, çalışkanlık ve sorumluluk olmak üzere 8 kategoride algıladıkları görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin görüşleri analiz edildiğinde ürettikleri metaforların özgürlük ve adalet kategorilerinde yoğunlaştığı görülmektedir. En az oluşturulan metafor kategorisi ise ''çalışkanlık'' kategorisidir. En çok kullanılan metaforların ''kuş'', gökyüzü'' ve ''terazi'' metaforu olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Kuş ve gökyüzü metaforu özgürlüğü temsil etmiştir. ''Terazi''metaforu genel olarak adaleti temsil etmiştir. Demokratik vatandaş ile ilgili yaptıkları açıklamalarda karar verme, seçim, oy kullanma, ülke yönetiminde söz sahibi olma gibi demokrasinin ayırt edici özelliklerine de değinmişlerdir. Sınıf düzeylerine göre incelendiğinde. 5. Sınıf öğrencileri tarafından en çok özgürlük kategorisinde (16 metafor %17,7) metafor geliştirilirken en az metaforun sorumluluk kategorisinde (5 metafor, %5,5) geliştirildiği tespit edilmiştir. 6. Sınıf öğrencileri tarafından en çok özgürlük kategorisinde (16 metafor %17,7) metafor geliştirilirken en az metafor vatanseverlik kategorisinde (7 metafor, %7,7) geliştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan 7. Sınıf öğrencileri toplamda 46 adet metafor üretmiştir. Metaforlar incelendiğinde ''vatanını savunan vatandaş'', ''eşit kollu terazi'', ''adalet çiçeği'' metaforunu en çok kullandıkları görülmüştür. 7. Sınıf öğrencileri tarafından en çok özgürlük kategorisinde (16 metafor %17,7) metafor geliştirilirken en az metafor çalışkanlık kategorisinde (7 metafor, %7,7) geliştirildiği tespit edilmiştir. 8. Sınıf öğrencilerinin demokratik vatandaş kavramına ilişkin sahip oldukları metaforlar incelendiğinde 49 farklı metafor ürettiği ''adil vatandaş'', ''15 Temmuz'', ''eşit kollu terazi'', metaforunu en çok kullandıkları görülmüştür. 8. Sınıf öğrencileri tarafından en çok özgürlük kategorisinde (26 metafor %18,8) metafor geliştirilirken en az metafor çalışkanlık kategorisinde (11 metafor %7,9) geliştirilmiştir. 8. ve 7. sınıf ortaokul öğrencilerinin ürettikleri metaforlar daha çok çeşitlilik göstermektedir. 8. sınıflar 49 adet metafor üretirken 7. sınıflar ise 46 adet metafor üretmişlerdir. 5. ve 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin oluşturduğu metaforlar ise daha az çeşitlilik göstermektedir 5. sınıflar 43 adet metafor üretirken 6. sınıflar ise 41 adet metafor üretmiştir. Aynı zamanda sınıf düzeyleri yükseldikçe oluşturulan metaforların daha soyut bir yapıya büründüğü gözlemlenmiştir. Anahtar kelimeler: Demokratik Vatandaş, Ortaokul Öğrencileri, Metafor, Vatandaşlık. In this study, it is aimed to determine the view of the middle school students on the concept of democratic citizens through the metaphors. In the research towards the general objective, one of the qualitative research designs phenomenology was used. The participants of the survey are 450 grade students in the Körfez district of Kocaeli province in the academic year of 2016-2017. Data have been reached with semi-structured forms. The metaphors and explanations written by the students were used as the basic data source in this research. Data were analyzed through content analysis. The findings from the research show that a majority of middle school students perceive democratic citizenship in eight categories: freedom, equality, justice, participation, responsibility, diligence, unity and patriotism. When the opinions of the students are analyzed, it is seen that the metaphors they produce concentrate on the categories of freedom and justice The Least categories is unity. In this context, the most commonly used metaphor is the bird and scale. Students have also mentioned the distinctive characteristics of democracy, such as decision-making, participation, election, voting, and having a say in the country's administration when they are explaining what they do with democratic citizen. When we research the metaphores that 5th graders have related with the term of democratic citizen, the totally produce metaphores. And when the metaphores studied, being rightous, juicy watermelon and language metaphores were used most. By the 5.th graders the most metaphore was developed in freedom category (16 metaphores %17,7) and the least metaphore was developed in responsibility category (5 metafor, %5,5). When we research the metaphores that 6th.graders have related with the term of democratic citizen, they totatlly produce metaphores. And when the metaphores studied; it was seen that voting, cooperation metaphores were used most. By the 6th gaders the most metaphore was used in freedom category (16 metaphores %17,7) and the least metaphore was developed in patriotism category (7 metaphores, %7,7). When we researc the metaphores that 7th gaders have related with the democratic citizen; 90 7th graders totally produce 46 metaphores. When we reseach the metaphores that 7th graders produce, it was seen that a patriot, equal scale, flower of justice metaphores were used most. By the 7th graders the most metaphore was developed in the freedom category (16 metaphores %17,7) and the least metaphore was developed in being hardworking category (7 metaphores, %7,7). When we study the metaphores that 8th graders produce, totally 138 graders produce 49 metaphores. By the 8th graders the most metaphore was developed in the freedom category (26 metaphores %18,8) and the least metaphore was developed in being hardworking category (11 metaphores %7,9) And when the metaphores studied, it was seen that they use the fair patriot metaphore, 15th july metaphore equal scale metaphore most. `Yöneylem Araştırması`, İngiliz ve Avrupalılar tarafından `Operational Research` ve Amerikalılar tarafından `Operations Research` olarak isimlendirilir. Yöneylem Araştırması genelde bir `Sorun Çözme` ve `Karar Verme Bilimi` olarak değerlendirilir. Yöneylem araştırmasında en yaygın kullanım alanı bulan tekniklerden bir tanesi olan Doğrusal Programlama, doğrusal karar modelleriyle ilgili kavram ve teknikler bütünüdür. Doğrusal programlama, bütün model parametrelerinin kesin olarak bilindiğini varsayan deterministik bir tekniktir. Doğrusal programlamanın özel bir türü ise ulaştırma modelidir. Ulaştırma problemi stok kontrolü, işgücü planlaması, kuruluş yeri seçimi, işlerin makinelere dağıtımı gibi alanlarda ulaştırma modelleri kullanılabilmektedir. Çalışmamızda inceleyeceğimiz Ulaştırma Modelinin amacı bir işletmenin belirli kapasitedeki üretim merkezlerinden, belirli talebi olan tüketim merkezlerinegöndereceği malların toplam ulaştırma maliyetini optimum yapacak biçimde gönderilmesini sağlamaktır. Otomotiv şirketinde üretilen yedek parçaların 4 ayrı fabrikadan, 3 ayrı depoya dağıtılması isteniyor. Depolardaki üretilen ürün stokları ve fabrikalardaki ürün kapasiteleri her depo belirli aralıklarla belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca fabrikalardan depolara olan birim taşıma maliyetleri de aralıklı ve kesirli olarak belirlenmiştir. Buna göre kesirli aralıklı amaç fonksiyonu ve kısıtlar belirlenip ulaştırma modeli kurulmuştur. Çözüm için amaç fonksiyonu başlangıç değerlerine göre belirlenen noktalarda taylor polinomuna genişletilir. Bulunan değerler ve kısıtlar WINQSB paket programına girilir ve program iterasyon sonucunu hesaplar. Bu sonuç ile amaç fonksiyonu tekrardan taylor polinomuna genişletilir. Amaç fonksiyonu için bulunan değerler ve kısıtlar tekrardan WINQSB paket programına girilir ve bir iterasyon daha yapılmış olur. WINQSB paket programı ile verilen sonuçlar iki iterasyon art arda aynı değerleri verene kadar iterasyon yapmaya devam edilir. Çalışmamızda 4.iterasyonda çözüme ulaşılmıştır. Bulunan sonuçlar kısıt fonksiyonlarında yerine konulduğunda denklemlerin sağlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Her iterasyonda optimum çözüme yaklaşıldığı belirlenmiştir. Linear Programming, one of the techniques that finds the most common use in Operatian Research, is the whole concept and techniques related to linear decision models. Linear programming is a deterministic technique that assumes that all model parameters are known precisely. A special type of linear programming is the transportation model. Transport models can be used in areas such as stock control, labor force planning, site selection, and distribution of jobs to machines.In this study, the objective is to ensure that goods transported from the production centers in an interval facility to interval demanding consumption centers are sent optimally to the total transportation cost of an enterprise. Spare parts produced in the automotive company are required to be distributed from 4 separate factories to 3 separate warehouses. The manufactured of inventory in the warehouse and the product capacities in the factories are determined at certain interval. In addition, unit transportation costs, which are stored from factories to warehouse , are determined as interval and fractional. According to this, fractional objective functions and constraints are determined and a transportation model is established. The objective function for thesolution is extended to the Taylor polynomial at points determined according to the initial values. The values and constraints found are entered into the WINQSB package program and the program calculates the iteration result. With this result, the objective function is extended to the Taylor polynomial once again. The values and constraints for the objective function are entered into WINQSB package program once again and an iteration is made. The results of the WINQSB packet program continue to iterate until two iterations repeat successive the value in kind. In our study, the solution was reached at 4. iteration. It has been determined that equations are provided when the results are substituted in the constraint functions. In each iteration, it is determined that theoptimum solution is more approximated in the objective function. 70

In recent years, there has been significant interest in advanced nanobiosensor technologies with their exceptional properties for real-time monitoring, ultra-sensing, and rapid detection. With relevant experimental data, highly selective and hypersensitive detection of various analytes is possible using biosensors based on nanostructures. In particular, biosensors focus on vital issues such as disease early diagnosis and treatment, risk assessment of quality biomarkers, food-water quality control, and food safety. In the literature, there has been great attention to the preparation and sensing behavior of several nanomaterials-based sensors, such as polymer frameworks, metal-organic frameworks, one-dimensional (1D) nanomaterials, two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials, and MXenes-based sensors. This chapter gives points to all aspects of fabrication, characterization, mechanisms, and applications of nanostructures-based biosensors. Finally, some smart advanced sensing systems for ultra-sensing nanoplatforms, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the sensor performances, current limitations, and future outlook of next-generation sensing materials, are highlighted.
