Background Data on the species diversity and distribution of pteridophytes (lycophytes and ferns) in the Urals and adjacent areas are presented. The dataset includes 13,742 observations of two classes Lycopodiopsida and Polypodiopsida. In total, the dataset contains information on 16 families, 28 generas, 65 species, four subspecies and nine interspecies hybrids. All records are for lycophytes and ferns collected over 170 years between 1853 and 2021. The dataset presented is based on herbarium specimens, published data and field research conducted by the authors. This dataset is the first and important step towards generalising information on the current diversity and geographical distribution of pteridophytes in the Urals and adjacent areas. © Melnikov D et al. The updated list of the Red Book of the Tyumen Region includes 315 species, including 140 species of vascular plants from 97 genera and 43 families. More than 90 % of the protected species belong to the division of seed plants, of which 57,5 % are dicots and 42,5 % are monocotyledonous angiosperms. The leading family is the Orchidaceae, which includes 25 protected species (18 %). Most species belong to the ecological group of mesophytes and transitional groups of hygromesophytes and xeromesophytes (a total 72 species). There are 29 species of hydrophilic, xerophilous – 39. Most protected species (99) are distributed within Eurasia. 25 species have Holarctic area, Asian distribution is typical for 15 species, and one species is hemicosmopolitan. In the group of protected plants, the most steppe (63 species, or 45 %) and forest (64, or 45,7 %) species. Out of 140 taxa, 18 species are entered in the Red Book of the Russian Federation.

Приводятся сведения о находке Primula macrocalyx Bunge в Тюменской области. На территории области данный вид впервые был отмечен П.Н. Крыловым в 1937 г. С тех пор новых находок не было, и первоцвет крупночашечный считался исчезнувшим видом. В мае 2017 г. произрастание этого вида было обнаружено нами в Заводоуковском районе; это одно из самых северных местонахождений P. macrocalyx в Западной Сибири. Достаточно крупная популяция насчитывает не менее тысячи клонов на площади около 4 га. Даны рекомендации к включению первоцвета крупночашечного в перечень видов, подлежащих занесению в Красную книгу Тюменской области., Information about the find of Primula macrocalyx Bunge in the Tyumen Province is given. On the territory of the province this species was first found by P.N. Krylov in 1937. Since then, no new discoveries have been made, and the primrose was considered an extinct species. In May 2017 the growth of this species was discovered by us in the Zavodoukovskiy district. This is one of the northernmost locations of P. macrocalyx in Western Siberia. A large population has at least a thousand clones on an area of about 4 hectares. Recommendations are given for the inclusion of the P. macrocalyx in the list of species to be included in the Red Book of the Tyumen Province.

The AuAl2 intermetallic compounds are of substantial interest in view of their application potential. The investigated intermetallics AuAl 2+6%Cu were prepared from fine powders of AuAl2 and Cu by vacuum sputtering on a glass substrate and consisted of films with a thickness of about one micrometer. The films were annealed. The temperature and field dependence of the electroresistivity, the magnetoresistivity and the Hall effect of AuAl2+6%Cu films were measured in the temperature interval from 4.2 to 100 K and at magnetic fields of up to 15 T. We demonstrate that the temperature dependence of the electroresistivity has a minimum at T = 20 K and a metallic behavior above this temperature. The magnetoresistivity is very small (less then 1%), positive at low temperatures and negative above 12 K. The Hall coefficient is positive, which corresponds to the holes in a one zone model with a charge carrier concentration of about 1.6 1020 cm-3. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Первоцвет крупночашечный (Primula macrocalyx Bunge) занесен в ряд региональных Красных книг, в том числе на территории Западной Сибири, включая Тюменскую область, где в настоящее время известно единственное местонахождение вида в естественных условиях. С целью сохранения тюменской популяции P. macrocalyx в месте находки вида предложено организовать особо охраняемую природную территорию регионального значения. Для обоснования придания этому участку особого статуса в течение сезона вегетации 2017 г. проведены исследования по изучению состава флоры и растительности. Намеченная к охране территория находится на юге Заводоуковского района и имеет площадь около 0,5 км2. В ее пределах распространены редкостойные березовые, осиновые и сосновые леса, пойменные леса и кустарники. На открытых участках развиты разнотравные луга, на водотоках распространены сообщества водных и прибрежно-водных растений. На некоторых небольших по площади участках встречаются рудеральные фитоценозы. Водоразделы, находящиеся за пределами рассматриваемой территории, заняты возделываемыми полями, залежами, пастбищными лугами, встречаются небольшие березовые и осиновые колки, посадки сосны. В пределах изученной территории выявлено произрастание 173 вида сосудистых растений из 131 рода и 46 семейств. Приводится список выявленных видов с указанием их встречаемости на исследованной территории и характерных для каждого вида биотопов. Отмечено произрастание также других редких, уязвимых и охраняемых в Тюменской области видов сосудистых растений, а также степных и лесостепных видов, обогащающих растительный покров юга лесной зоны региона. Флора изученной территории содержит большое количество видов, имеющих декоративные качества, что значительно увеличивает аттрактивные свойства ландшафта. Полученные материалы будут положены в основу обоснования создания ООПТ в указанном районе., In the spring of 2017, in the south of forest zone in the Zavodoukovsky District of the Tyumen Region, we found a large population of the primrose macrocalyx (Primula macrocalyx Bunge). This species is included in some regional red books of Russia, including in the territory of Western Siberia. In the Tyumen Region, this species was included in the second edition of the regional red book as a threatened species (category 1 of the rarity). To preserve the population of P. macrocalyx in the place of its discovery, we proposed to organize a protected natural area of regional importance. During the vegetation season of 2017, we conducted research on the composition of flora and vegetation in this area. The considered territory has an area of around 0.5 km2. It is located in the subzone of small-leaved (aspen-birch) forests of the taiga zone, in the area of its transition to the northern forest-steppe. The hydrographic network is represented by a section of the Berezovka River and an unnamed stream that is its right-sided tributary, which belong to the basin of the Tobol River. Within the study area there are sparse birch, aspen and pine forests, floodplain forests and shrubs. In open areas, communities of meadow are developed; communities of aquatic and semi-aquatic plants are widespread in the pond. Ruderal phytocenoses occur in some small areas that experience anthropogenic influence. Cultivated fields, deposits and pasture meadows occupy watersheds, which are outside the territory designated for protection; there are small areas of birch and aspen forests. Within the studied territory, 173 species of vascular plants from 131 genera and 46 families have been identified. The article contains a list of identified species with an indication of their occurrence in the study area and characteristic habitats.
