Abstract

Lately, there have been more and more people having pets. Pet owners often lack knowledge about their pets, which can hurt pets (s). In this age, technology is developing rapidly. Through the presence of technology, the use of human labor can also be reduced. People used to find information in books, and now everything can be searched through the internet. However, sometimes information on the internet is not entirely accurate. Other than that, finding the right keyword to search for the appropriate topic is hard. Finding information can be easier if it is assisted by better technology, like a chatbot. A chatbot is an automatic robot chat that can reply to questions from users and find answers suitable for users' questions. Using chatbots, we can get the information we need in a more fun and exciting way because chatbots imitate how humans chat with others. This can make the information conveyed more clearly to the user. This paper focuses on how a chatbot can help pet owners get information about keeping their pets in good condition. This chatbot has a few methods: AI, UML, ML, AIML, and NLP. Through this application, pet owners will find it easy to find excellent and correct ways to take care of their pets. Abstract

Weather forecasting has gained researchers from worldwide societies over decades due to its substantial impact on global human life from agriculture, air traffic control to public health and safety. Although rigorous weather forecasting research has begun in 19th century, research has been dedicated to weather forecasting tasks that have significantly increased after weather-big data is widely available. This article proposes an Auto-regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model to forecast better visibility for the variant value of parameters p, d, q using the grid technique. This experiment showed that ARIMA has the lowest MSE value of 0.00029 and a coefficient of variation value of 0.00315. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to control home electrical appliances while also monitor the electricity consumption using web based application using laravel php framework and MySQL database. It also provides a diagnostic feedback in case of electrical appliance's failure. It aims to lower the energy usage of the electrical appliances by cutting off the power completely during standby. Many kinds of approaches like literature studies, research and experiments were conducted to develop the prototype of the system. RaspberryPi, Arduino, relay board and CT current sensors are the hardware that used to control the use of electrical devices’ energy and monitor how much it consume the energy. The application is mainly built using Laravel PHP framework and JavaScript with MySQL database. The result is a system prototype that capable to control, monitor and diagnose electrical appliances power, and lowering the total energy usage of the appliances by up to 59%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

42. Application Hiding Messages in JPEG Images with the Method of Bit-Plane Complexity Segmentation on Android-Based Mobile Devices.

Abstract

Abstract: Communications world is growing rapidly in this all-digital era and the importance of the need for a secure and reliable communication is increasing as response to the criminality problems, such as message interceptor problem. By looking at these requirements, a safer way to communicate, such as Cryptography, has been developed. However, the result of this method is not sufficient, because it still risk from the interception of the sent data, caused by cryptography which only hides the data resulting the packaging to be suspicious and draw attention of the hijackers. Therefore, Steganography then developed in which not only hides the content, but also deceptive hijackers with packaging that is not suspicious. In this paper, we discuss the design of steganography which is applied in mobile devices (e.g. mobile phone) using the BPCS (Bit-Plane Complexity Segmentation) by hiding text message into the media reservoir of JPEG data types images. When using this method the message hiding capacity is larger than any other method, up to 40% of the image container. The simulation result reconstructed images which is measured by an objective assessment parameters, based on the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio PSNR, with efficient value obtained on average is 74.3294dB which is well worth the image quality.
