The mechanical characteristics of the stocked into dump massives dispersed rocks influencing the slope stability is strongly determined by slopes’ granulometric composition. Due to the phosphogypsum specific characterics, it may be difficult to choose the proper methodology for its’ granulometric composition studying. This article is dedicated to the comparative analysis of the results of the different methods’ usage for granulometric composition of this material in the aggradiational waste disposals research. Additionally the problem of aggradiational phosphogypsum homogeneity in such structures has also been studied by determining the presence of fractionation and rock strength parameters’ in the ash pond beach variability.

The work shows that only a certain psychological and pedagogical complex, consisting of a convenient educational platform, using objects of nature in the pedagogical process; correctly selected psychological and pedagogical methods and a trained teaching staff will be able to contribute to the search and implementation of new psychological and pedagogical approaches used for the development of personality and subjectivity of adolescents. The most convenient site for these purposes may be a children's health camp. This educational platform is unique in terms of balancing lesson and extracurricular activities, providing opportunities for communicative interaction between peers, as well as adolescents and adults. It is also important that the environment of a country camp provides a child with the opportunity to discover those natural phenomena that could only be learned theoretically in the classroom. By contributing to the implementation of interdisciplinary environmental research projects, the camp creates conditions for the development of the adolescent's subjectivity in interaction with the natural environment. Receiving new skills and abilities in the camp, the child moves to a new level of education, and accordingly acquires new personal experience. Thus, the presented work shows that it is necessary to rethink the importance of children's health camps. While retaining the traditional functions of health improvement, recreation and entertainment, camps should provide and compensate for the educational and educational functions of modern school education. Camp activities should be productive.

In this mini-review, some of the most significant, from the authors' point of view, features of the methodology of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and interpretation of experimentally obtained spectroscopic data are considered, as applied to the molecular spectrochemical analysis of microbiological objects using examples published in the specialised scientific literature mainly in recent years. Biotransformation of selenite by microorganisms is an effective detoxification (in cases of dissimilatory reduction, e.g., to Se0) and assimilation process (when Se is assimilated by cells). However, the current knowledge of the molecular mechanism of selenite reduction remains limited. In this study, a selenite-resistant bacterium was isolated and identified as Proteus sp. YS02. Strain YS02 reduced 93.2% of 5.0 mM selenite to selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) within 24 h, and the produced SeNPs were spherical and localized intracellularly or extracellularly, with an average dimension of 140 ± 43 nm. The morphology and composition of the isolated and purified SeNPs were characterized using dynamic light scattering (DLS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectrometry, and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. FTIR spectroscopy indicated the presence of proteins, polysaccharides, and lipids on the surface of the isolated SeNPs. Furthermore, the SeNPs showed excellent antimicrobial activity against several Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria. Comparative transcriptome analysis was performed to elucidate the selenite reduction mechanism and biosynthesis of SeNPs. It is revealed that 197 genes were significantly upregulated, and 276 genes were significantly downregulated under selenite treatment. Gene ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses revealed that genes associated with ABC transporters, sulfur metabolism, pentose phosphate pathway (PPP), and pyruvate dehydrogenase were significantly enhanced, indicating selenite is reduced by sulfite reductase with PPP and pyruvate dehydrogenase supplying reducing equivalents and energy. This work suggests numerous genes are involved in the response to selenite stress, providing new insights into the molecular mechanisms of selenite bioreduction with the formation of SeNPs.

Motility is a crucial activity of immune cells allowing them to patrol tissues as they differentiate, sample or exchange information, and execute their effector functions. Although all immune cells are highly migratory, each subset is endowed with very distinct motility patterns in accordance with functional specification. Furthermore individual immune cell subsets adapt their motility behaviour to the surrounding tissue environment. This review focuses on how the generation and adaptation of diversified motility patterns in immune cells is sustained by actin cytoskeleton dynamics. In particular, we review the knowledge gained through the study of inborn errors of immunity (IEI) related to actin defects. Such pathologies are unique models that help us to uncover the contribution of individual actin regulators to the migration of immune cells in the context of their development and function.

The results of the accuracy assessment analysis for creation of a three-dimensional vector model of building façade are described. In the framework of the analysis, analytical comparison of three-dimensional vector façade models created by photogrammetric and terrestrial laser scanning data has been done. The three-dimensional model built from TLS point clouds was taken as the reference one. In the course of the experiment, the three-dimensional model to be analyzed was superimposed on the reference one, the coordinates were measured and deviations between the same model points were determined. The accuracy estimation of the three-dimensional model obtained by using non-metric digital camera images was carried out. Identified façade surface areas with the maximum deviations were revealed.
