The need for the right method is important in the practical teaching and learning (T&L) of Islamic education to create a positive impact in students and produce an ideal T&L. The T&L method used must be compatible with the measurement of the students so that the objectives are planned to produce maximum impact. Therefore, this article explores the T&L method that is often used by Islamic education teachers (IET) in implementing effective Islamic Education practices. The research methodology of this writing uses a qualitative study with a case study design conducted in seven secondary schools. Purposive and snowball sampling methods were used to select study participants and informants, namely seven study participants and 21 informants.Data collection through three instruments, namely interviews as core data triangulated with observation data and document analysis as supporting data.Verbatim data from interviews, observations, and analysis documents were analyzed in Nvivo20 software, finally becoming a model of Islamic education practical T&L method (MK-PAPI) after being validated by experts. The findings show that there are 11 practical T&L methods that are often practiced by IET, namely demonstrations; repetition; discussion; problem solving; simultaneously; presentation; questionnaire; memorization; collaboration; explanation or lecture; and direct application.

The role of Islamic Education teachers in imparting knowledge needs to be refined in line with the transformation of the country's education. The implementation of a student-centered teaching and learning approach can have a positive impact on students in improving the quality of knowledge achievement. Therefore, teachers need to equip itself with various pedagogical knowledge, especially student-centered teaching and learning. The purpose of this writing is to explore the student-centered teaching and learning approach among excellent teachers of Islamic education in secondary schools. This writing is done through a qualitative research methodology using interview data as the main data and supported by observation data and document analysis. Excellent teachers of Islamic education selected from eight schools are study participants along with 40 study informants. Along with interview data, there are eight observation data and eight document analysis data. All 56 verbatim were compiled and analyzed using NVivo 20 software to build themes and sub-themes of research findings. The results of the study show that there are 22 student-centered teaching and learning methods and techniques that form a pattern. This finding can produce a Student-Centered teaching and learning approach Model among Excellent teachers of Islamic education in secondary schools.

This study was conducted with the aim to explore the teaching and learning practice among preschool Islamic Education teachers. Eight participants from four public and four private preschools participated along the research process including interview, observation and document analysis throughout a number of teaching and learning sessions. This qualitative research had been done in the area of Johor Baharu district. Data were analysed using NVivo software version 12. The validity of the data was obtained through triangulation of different sources of data, long duration of data collection which was six months and validated by the participants of the research. Meanwhile, the reliability of the data was obtained through trail audit and experts validation based on Cohen Kappa correlation validation. From the finding, eight elements of teachers’ preparation before the teaching and learning sessions were found, and they are; preparing the Annual Lesson Plan, timetable, Daily Lesson Plan, referring to module, teacher and students’ classroom preparation, preparing activity, teaching aids and teachers’ personality. It is a hope that this Teaching and Learning Preparation Model will be a guide for teachers and lecturers in Malaysia.

Artikel ini membincangkan elemen pengurusan kelas yang dimiliki oleh Pensyarah Cemerlang Pendidikan Islam (PCPI) sebagai seorang pendidik di politeknik. Pendekatan kajian ini menggunakan sepenuhnya kajian kualitatif menerusi kaedah kajian kes. Seramai enam orang Pensyarah Cemerlang Pendidikan Islam dipilih sebagai peserta kajian temu bual ini dan disokong oleh tiga orang Ketua Unit Pendidikan Islam, 12 orang rakan pensyarah, dan 12 orang pelajar. Seterusnya data temu bual ini ditriangulasikan dengan dapatan data yang dikumpul dari pemerhatian dan analisis dokumen. Analisis kajian ini menggunakan perisian N’Vivo 7.0 bagi menghasilkan tema dan ciri pengurusan kelas Pensyarah Cemerlang Pendidikan Islam di politeknik sehinggalah membentuk pola. Hasil kajian menunjukkan terdapat 13 elemen pengurusan kelas yang dimiliki oleh Pensyarah Cemerlang Pendidikan Islam di politeknik. Semua elemen ini dimiliki oleh sebahagian besar PCPI dan mencapai tahap pola, iaitu mengingati dan memanggil nama pelajar,mengaitkan pelajar dengan PdP, memahami keadaan pelajar, tegas pada tempat, memberi teguran secara berhikmah, mendekatkan diri dengan pelajar, meninggikan suara, pensyarah datang awal, mencari penyelesaian, menggunakan unsur jenaka, penekanan adab belajar, tidak menekankan hukuman dan tidak mengabaikan pelajar bukan Islam. This article discusses the importance of vision and mission of the Islamic Education Lecturers (IELs) in teaching and learning (TnL). This study was fully conducted through qualitative method via case study. Six IELs were selected as participants and willing to be interviewed, and the data from the interview were supported by three Heads of Islamic Education Unit, 12 lecturers and 12 students. The data were triangulated with the data obtained through observation and document analysis. The data were analysed through N’Vivo software to generate a pattern of themes and characteristics of the vision and mission in TnL. The result found that there were six elements of vision and mission emphasized by the IELs in TnL. Five of them had formed a pattern. That five elements were; students receiving and appreciating, TnL objective achieved, spreading da’wah, moulding students attidtude and thinking, and achieving success in the world and the hereafter. Therefore, a model which is named as Model of the Vision and Mission Practice for the Excellent Islamic Education Lecturers was deloped. From the overall view, the emphasis on achieving mission and vision helps the IELs to successfully conduct TnL inside and outside classroom.

This study was conducted with the aim to investigate the relationship between the implementation of muraqabah (a monitoring strategy based on religious elements, for example; the establishment of intention for the sake of Allah SWT) during the pre-sea training and healthy emotion after completing the pre-sea training among marine students in Malaysia. Monitoring strategy is referred to one of self-regulation skills which can help students to well-experience the pre-sea training. 376 students were selected randomly from five public and private institutions in Malaysia which offered marine-based courses, and these students were all Muslims and had succeeded in completing the pre-sea training. A set of questionnaire were developed using Qualtrics software based on the items agreed bby panel of experts (through Delphi technique). The data obtained were analysed descriptively (median and interquartile range) and inferentially (correlation of Spearman rho analysis) using SPSS software version 24. This study found that the level of all items; implementing muraqabah during the pre-sea training and healthy emotion after the pre-sea training were high (Med≥4.00, IQR=≤1.00), meanwhile, the relationship between the two variables was positive and moderate (rs(376)=.459, p

The recent reviews indicated learning expertise level could be enhanced with skills, creativity and preferences. This stage should be taken at the first stage combined highly with providing the framework in underlying the learning expertise. This paper attempts to propose the model of Hau-Kashyap used to describe in yielding the robust results to measure the learning expertise level. This approach was selected to give an insight with a more accurate by examining twelve items of questionnaire applied among the students at tertiary level to explore the representation of wide range of knowledge and skills. The results found that the stage level of belief that ranges combined from the level of expertise 1–12 was indicated that Hau-Kashyap approach can be determined to measure the learners’ expertise more fairly and easily. This method is supposed to contribute providing the purposeful rule in combining the learning expertise constructed into a single and more informative hint with related concern of the measurement. This initiative might also contribute to the typical approach of information and communication technology (ICT) to increasingly enhance the achievement through utilizing it in the education setting in the higher education context. Adopting social media in network data massively within the big data trends, the extraction of the particular means in providing structured data from enterprise resources data and sources of unstructured data from audio and video can begin with providing the value from information space such as message, conversation, transaction, and other sources. This chapter attempts to explore the design of adaptive learning technology in big data approach. Attempts to achieve particular advantage of big data with analytic process could provide the innovative environment of adaptive online technology to enhance pedagogy and technology skill to support the initiative way of teaching and learning process in the higher education (HE) context.

as an attempt to understand modern learning environment (MLE) to support learning in big data era, its exploration where the students are engaged to access online resources using their mobile devices, laptop and other digital devices needs to understand MLE as the term integrated between digital technology tools and learning skills. The convenient facilitation has a whole section designed to support learning styles which can exactly create the learning environment to be modern. This paper aims to explore innovative design for MLE with big data approach to see the chance in applying this model for the construction to the design of big data based learning environments to facilitate online learning towards information and knowledge in higher education setting. The finding reveals to propose model reference to be implemented to improve student learning outcomes in a technology-rich teaching and learning environment in higher education. As a result, this paper is expected to contribute in the support with an initiative in the learning performance.

It is significant for the reverts to have an existing helping organization. Therefore, this study aims to identify organizational issues that are directly and indirectly involved with counsellors at the Council of Islamic Religious Department in Malaysia. This study utilizes a qualitative approach by using the case study method. This study involved five (5) counsellors from Council of Islamic Religious Department in Malaysia. This study used the N'Vivo 10.0 for the data analysis to develop themes and sub-themes that related to this study. The findings showed that there are two (2) sub themes involved both government and non-government. There are six (6) sub-sub themes for the government which are Jabatan Agama Islam, Jabatan Mufti, Pusat Dakwah Islamiah, Pusat Kaunseling MAINS Negeri Sembilan, Jabatan Kehakiman and Baitulmal. While, non-government has ten (10) sub-sub themes; Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia, Unit Saudara Baru, Unit Ukhuwah, Pusat Saudara Baru Darul Saadah, Darul Ukhuwah Yayasan Kasih Sayang, Volunteer Body, Malaysian Chinese Muslim Association (MACMA), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Islam Malaysia (PERKIM), PERKAMA and Skuad Mubaligh Seremban. In conclusion, this study could be used as a guide for counsellors to provide guidance and counselling services to revert clients. Keywords: Organization; support system; revert and client.

The new concept of big data in recent ICT domain extends the promising research direction on online learning and big data integration through promising content that can be tailored for each student based on the context and Internet behaviour of users in online learning. This paper aims to explore innovative design for innovative online learning in Higher education using Big Data approach. Critical review from referred journals and books was conducted using thematic analysis. This paper proposes model reference which can be implemented with the technology in teaching and learning to improve student learning environment and outcomes and to enhance students’ development, performance and achievement in learning process in higher education.

Background and Objective: Educational entrance examination refers to the extent in selecting the student to enroll through admission into educational institution. It has an entire procedure administered to achieve from primary to higher education. However, not many researches were conducted using mathematical theory of evidence. This study aims to investigate the examination process about the admission into educational institutions using mathematical theory of evidence. Materials and Methods: The assessment on student's entrance examination through the effectiveness of Dempster-Shafer theory can be viewed with its significant contribution by combining the previous measure of evidence. Eight student's entrance examination results were proposed. Results: The result reveals that there were some significant findings in assessing the student's entrance examination using mathematical theory of evidence. Those were obtained degrees of belief of Computer Science with 76.4% for student 1, Computer Science with 64.2% for student 2, Computer Science with 75.4% for student 3, Computer Science with 80.3% for student 4, Computer Science with 67.4% for student 5, Computer Science with 57.1% for student 6, Islamic Studies with 26.3% for student 7, Computer Science with 62.5% for student 8. Conclusion: In this research, mathematical theory of evidence has been successfully developed to assess student's entrance examination and displaying the result of identification process.

This chapter aims to explore the pattern to use technology as an attempt to promote virtual violence prevention. A literature review from referred journals and books was conducted. The findings reveal that technology use, in particular an effort to solve the emerging issues of violence promotes the solution with an innovative approach designed in HE. With technology use in attempting violence prevention insights, an innovative way to strengthen technology use wisely with underlying the compassionate skills to promote the preventive action of violent forms is needed. Attempts to promote virtual violence prevention in higher education should be combined with empowering technology use to focus comprehensively on encouraging diverse learners with personal and social awareness in digital interaction. This chapter is expected to contribute in dealing with exploring the systematic approach in nurturing the self-awareness and social concern in digital interaction to be potentially applied in HE.

This chapter examines the distinctive point of view about moral responsibility as the main principle in maximizing the learning quality in the perspective of Islamic education. Moreover, the extensive details could be also discussed referring to the strategic comprehensive point of view to contribute into the modern age. Literature review has been adopted to critically examine the detailed overview of learning quality with a comprehensive enhancement in wide range of requirements to achieve quality learning referred to the Islamic education. The findings reveal that through addressing the contextual broad-basis in the learning process to follow up the strategic principles in the requirements combined into the modern age environment, the learning quality could be achieved through committing with the strategic comprehensive principles of moral responsibility. Those are moral responsibility as fundamental purpose of learning process, moral responsibility as strategic principles for learning quality, and moral responsibility as competence skills for learning quality. Thus, this chapter is expected to contribute into the outstanding point of view to enlarge the learning quality procedure in the context of Islamic education contribution into the modern age of education system.

This study was conducted to examine the level of competence and method of teaching Tarannum al-Quran by the teachers of Special Class on Reading and Memorizing Al-Quran Skill (KKQ). The sample involved in this study was 46 KKQ teachers who taught in KKQ class in Johor. This study used a survey method in the process of collecting data and intormation. A set of questionnaire has been developed and used as the tool of study. The questionnaire was divided into three parts, namely t>vo characteristics of competence: 1) The teacher's level of knowledge in Tarannum, 2) The teacher's level of skill in Tarannum, and 3) The method of teaching Tarannuni by the teachers. The lindings show' that the level of teacher's knowledge of Tarannum 's is moderately high w ith a min value of 3.64, while the level of teacher's skill in Tarannum is inoderately low with a min value of 2.78. The study also found that the method of using CD and ICT in teaching Tarannum was the most popular method used by the respondents, the level for teaching method is moderate with mean 3.42.

Self-monitoring is considered as a crucial step in mastering self-regulation skill, which brings a person closer to achievement set up earlier. This study aims to investigate the implementation of self-monitoring in the light of Imam al-Ghazali’s perception, known as muraqabah and to explore the impact of implementing muraqabah on the development of healthy emotions. The number of 376 students were randomly selected from five public and private higher institutions that offering Marine-related courses. The students were all Muslims and have completed the pre-sea training. A set of questionnaire was developed from items selected through experts’ consensus of opinion (three-round modified Delphi method). The data collected were analysed descriptively (median and inter-quartile range) and inferentially (Spearman rhocorrelation analysis) using SPSS version 24. The study found that the level of muraqabah during the pre-sea training and the level of healthy emotions after completing the pre-sea training were both high (Med=4.00, JI==1.00). The objective of the study is to explore the spiritual and socioemotional potential development of students in the teaching and learning (T&L) of Islamic Studies in preschools. The goals of preschool education are to develop the potential of students in a holistic and integrated manner with fun, creative, and meaningful leaning. As such, teachers need to play proactive roles with knowledge and determination to achieve these goals. This qualitative study, in the form of a case study, used the observation method as the main instrument. Data from the observations were triangulated with those from interviews and document analysis. Using the purposive sampling method, participants were selected among those who have obtained a diploma of education from teaching institutions, attended courses and trainings conducted by the Ministry of Education (MOE), and had more than three years of teaching experience at preschools. The results showed that in the T&L of Islamic Studies in preschools, teachers’ characteristics, knowledge, and creativity played a role in developing the potential of students. It is hoped that this study will contribute to our basic knowledge about T&L of Islamic Studies, particularly towards the efforts in developing the potential of spiritual and socioemotional of children. Abstrak Objektif kajian adalah meneroka perkembangan potensi rohani dan sosioemosi murid dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran (P&P) Pendidikan Islam prasekolah. Matlamat pendidikan prasekolah adalah untuk memperkembangkan potensi murid secara menyeluruh dan bersepadu dengan pembelajaran yang menyeronokkan, kreatif, dan bermakna. Oleh hal yang demikian, guru-guru perlu memainkan peranan yang proaktif dengan ilmu dan kesungguhan bagi mencapai matlamat ini.Kajiankualitatifberbentuk kajiankes ini menggunakan kaedah pemerhatian sebagai instrumen utama. Data pemerhatian ditriangulasikan pula dengan data temu bual dan analisis dokumen. Pemilihan peserta kajian menggunakan pensampelan bertujuan dengan ciri pemilihan mereka yang memiliki diploma pendidikan dari institusi perguruan, pernah mendapat kursus dan latihan dari Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM), serta berpengalaman mengajar prasekolah melebihi tiga tahun. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa dalam P&P Pendidikan Islam prasekolah terdapat peranan sifat guru, pengetahuan, dan kreativiti guru dalam membangunkan potensi murid. Oleh itu, adalah diharapkan dapatan kajian ini akan menyumbang ke arah pengetahuan asas kita mengenai proses P&P Pendidikan Islam terutama usaha mengembangkan potensi rohani dan sosioemosi kanak-kanak.

Knowledge and skills in various aspects of teaching are essential to improving teachers’ confidence in school. These in turn, will produce high quality teaching which gives job satisfaction to the teachers themselves. This study is a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaire to obtain correlation data between teachers' satisfaction with the level of knowledge and application of knowledge from in-service training. The data from the questionnaires were analyzed descriptively and inferred. This method was chosen because there were many advantages and it was in line with this study. Among its benefits according to (Mok, 2010) is a survey method suitable for measuring opinions, achievements and sample attitudes. The study was conducted at 18 branches of the Andalus Islamic Education Center (PPIA) in Singapore. Review the selection of the Andalus Islamic Education Center as it is one of the largest part-time religious education centers in Singapore. There are 18 PPIA branches in Singapore with more teachers less than 80 people. In this study, the researchers refer to Krejcie and Morgan (1970) sample size tables to determine the size of the study sample. Based on the table of determinants of the sample, the appropriate number of samples was 66 people because the total population of teachers had approached 80 people. The items of job satisfaction were modified from the questionnaires used by Mat (1997). The items studied were job satisfaction, job conditions, colleagues, workplace conditions and promotion opportunities. This section contains 18 items. For the application of knowledge there are 10 items modified from the questionnaire used by Ibrahim (2008). After the questionnaire was quoted, the researcher would make an analysis of the data on the raw data obtained. The raw data will be analyzed using Statistical Package for Social knowledges (SPSS) version 20.0.

This study aims to identify the use of external support systems by counsellors located at the Council within the Islamic Religious Department in Malaysia. Data for this research was collected using a case study. The case study included an interview of five (5) registered counsellors in Islamic Organization in Malaysia. This study was based on a qualitative approach and data were analyzed using N’Vivo 7.0. The data were developed into appropriate themes and sub-themes. The study revealed that the external support system (community support, peer counsellor, Islamic law and Islamic organization) should be applied to Muslim counsellors and Muslim converts. This research could be used as a guide for a counsellor to be more robust in providing guidance and counselling services to specific clients, such as, new Muslim converts.Keywords: system support; convert clients

In the last decade, the emergence of violence has been since visible among the youth in school and even in higher education (HE). The number is various forms such as bullying, cyber bullying and even bullying victimization. It can be seen that forms of instance reported are many violence which refers to the perpetration among the school aged students. This paper aims to examine the problems on violence at any forms to propose a model to solve the knowledge set of compassionate based empathy. The findings reveal that the series of feeling mindful of self and social empathy should be developed to enhance the awareness with the ability to interact and care among HE. Providing the framework for the current issue of impending futile effort in terms of caring for terminal patients, nurturing compassionate based empathy could be one of the sources to assist the knowledge on the instructional design and assessment through best practice to improve the social and self-empathy awareness with compassion in HE.

The engaged scholarship has been widely viewed as academic service-learning and community service, which aim to link the classroom and community through courses with a transformative experiential education. It becomes an initiative to inculcate civic responsibility among students with the goal to produce responsible citizens and active participants in the community. This chapter will critically explore the main contribution of service learning to build civic responsibility. The literature review was conducted from referred books and journals on the topic of civic responsibility and service learning. As a core guideline to give a clear understanding and insightful view on the importance of the civic responsibility, this study could contribute to the significant insights towards different aspects of engaged scholarship and civic responsibility. Putting together awareness and goodwill from the community towards the group or organization should do with building civic engagement to get involved in social events to produce responsible citizens and active participants in the community.

Cyber counselling or e-therapy has widely been adopted as the new approach to give an insightful guidance into the clients. In higher education (HE) level, this initiative seems to have rarely been involved due to some technical requirements and preparations. This paper aims to present the approach of e-therapy using mobile application design. The finding illustrates that promoting this model application can theoretically assist the transmission process of counselling in the academic circumstance where both students and advisors may have a continuous engagement with more convenient quality in solving the issues surrounding the academic purposes. The attainment of this paper is expected to contribute in enabling the process of academic counselling in the context of higher education (HE). Strengthening practical and relational value maintaining connection to facilitate the sensitive issues disclosure is expected to help students solve their academic issues, such as reflecting the learning achievement.

As a mean to enhance and improve students' understanding in terms of knowledge gaining and skill development in Higher Education (HE), learning culture enables them to reflect on what they have learnt, contemplate on their ideas and to take advantage of these activities to develop their skills and practices. This chapter will explore the empowerment of learning culture to strengthen the students' identity in HE. The findings reveal that attempts to promote learning culture involve three core stages: classroom management, global mind-set skills and intercultural competence (IC), which may become the basis to enhance their cultural identities while undertaking their studies in HE. Such valuable applications integrated may be incorporated an important stage to develop better performance on building students' identity in HE. This chapter is expected to contribute in offering further understanding in terms of quality critical thinking through fostering ethical, reflective and professional practices as an endeavour to further improve students' competencies.

A variety of teaching and learning of Islamic Education is one of the elements that is been practiced by the Islamic Education teachers (GPI) in Johor. Therefore, this research is mainly focused on the venue for implementation the teaching and learning process of the subject, in order to create an effective and innovative learning session. Hence, in this study, the main data are supported by analysis documents and observation which collected from formal interviews of seven participants which are been considered as the main respondent. Other than that forty-two informants were identified in order to obtain more information as the supported to the main respondent. The transcript of the interviews data are analysed via N' Vivo 7.0 software to create a theme, sub-themes and sub-themes. The outcome of this study showed that there are five main areas that make up the pattern and most frequent areas of teaching and learning process are prayer room, library, classrooms, school region and audio visual room. This article aims to evaluate the source of 17 dhikr in Ratib al-Άttas based on Quran, Hadith and scholar views on the meaning and purpose of dhikr. Applications Ratib al-Attas ceremony was conducted over 90 years ago in the state of Johor. In addition, the application Ratib al-Άttas assessment and justification is given from the perspective of Islamic practices. The method used is by clarifying the position of remembrance 17 Ratib al-Άttas more reliable by practitioners; avoid confusion and misunderstanding of the doctrine of Ratib al-Attas. The results showed that all 17 dhikr Ratib al-Άttas and the practice carried out are consistent with the arguments of al-Quran and Hadith. Based on this finding several suggestions is made to encourage the expend development of dhikr al-Άttas Ratib practice among the Muslim community in Malaysia.

This aim of the research to explore the knowledge of Islamic education preschool teacher’s about the development of preschool children and to determine the implementation of that knowledge in teaching and learning. This study is a qualitative case study approach with the main instrument is observation methods. These observation data triangulate with interviews and document analysis data. Selection of study participants using purposeful sampling aimed those who experienced the pre-school teaching for more than three years, have participated in courses and training of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and volunteered to participate in the study. The results found that teachers who participated in the study had a source of knowledge about the development of preschool children through courses, training and experience. Study participants have been practicing existing knowledge in the implementation of teaching and learning in the classroom. Teachers can also perform knowledge coincide with the objectives of preschool education. Insights data generating Preschool Teacher’s Knowledge Model proposed to the District Education Office (PPD), the State Education Department (JPN), Ministry of Education (MOE), the private sector, teachers, and parents in order to attempt the education of children in preschool.

The purpose of this article is to discuss excellent communication style that being practiced by Excellent Islamic Education Lecturers in Teaching Education (EIEL) Institute of Malaysia. This excellent communication style is identified from a case study conducted. This case study was done at eight campuses of Teaching Education Institute of Malaysia. The study involved indepth interview with eight representatives from (EIEL), eight Heads of Department, Department of Islamic Education and Moral, 16 colleagues and 16 students. Results of this indepth interview were then organized and analysed by using NVivo version 7.0 program in order to construct theme and model that are related to excellent communication style of EIEL in Teaching Education Institute of Malaysia. Research findings show two aspects of excellent communication style being practiced by EIEL while performing their duties in Teaching Education Institute of Malaysia, which are verbal and non-verbal communication. Verbal communications are questioning and answering, being poise, consulting, giving sermon and advising. Non-verbal communications are writing, eye contact, body language and appearance.

This article discussed the Personality Traits of Islamic Education teacher (GPI) towards fellow colleagues and school top management. This study involved several secondary schools in the State of Johor. Interviews, observations, and analysis of documents were used as a data collector instruments. All data were then arranged by using N'Vivo software version 7.0 in order to produce themes, sub-themes and schedule matrix associated with the GPI personality traits towards fellow colleagues and top management. Results of the study indicated twenty one (21) traits that can be established as a pattern and they are committed; compliance; positive thinking; well mannered; respectful; easy going; concerned; have elements of humor; responsible; a role model; sensitive; understanding; tolerance; friendly; diligent; cooperative; approachable; as a point of reference; and unprejudiced. While the other nine (9) traits cannot be established a pattern. Therefore, this study has produced a commendable Personality Traits of Islamic Education teacher (GPI) with Fellow Colleagues and School Top Management Model.Keywords: Personality Traits, Islamic Education teacher, Model of Islamic Education Teacher personality against fellow colleagues and top management.

Guru memainkan peranan penting dalam pengajaran pendidikan Islam. Mereka bukan sahaja berperanan untuk menyampaikan ilmu pengetahuan kepada pelajar malah bertanggungjawab untuk meningkatkan penguasaan dan penghayatan ilmu pelajar. Guru harus mendorong sikap dan tingkah laku pelajar ke arah kebaikan melalui pendekatan yang berhikmah. Penyediaan guru yang berkualiti amat penting bagi menjayakan matlamat pendidikan Islam. Oleh itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk membincangkan komponen asas untuk latihan guru pendidikan Islam agar mereka dibekalkan dengan ilmu dan kemahiran yang mencukupi untuk mendidik pelajar menjadi muslim yang bertaqwa. Personaliti guru, ilmu pengetahuan, pengetahuan pedagogi kandungan, kepelbagaian kemahiran dan motivasi dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran (P&P) merupakan komponen asas yang perlu diberi tumpuan dalam latihan guru pendidikan Islam.
