This study explores the entrepreneurial landscape of Warmindo ventures established by the Kuningan community in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with a particular focus on the perspective of Sharia entrepreneurship. The research explores the motivations, strategies, and success factors behind these ventures, considering both the entrepreneurs' aspirations and the perceptions of their primary customer base, namely the students of Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). Drawing upon a combination of field research and literature review, the study employs qualitative descriptive methods, including in-depth interviews with Warmindo entrepreneurs and UII students. The comparative analysis juxtaposes the findings with existing literature on conventional and Islamic entrepreneurship, shedding light on the alignment between economic goals and religious values among the Kuningan community entrepreneurs. The results indicate a prevailing focus on material prosperity among Warmindo entrepreneurs, with limited attention to spiritual fulfillment or adherence to Sharia principles in their business practices. Conversely, UII students exhibit a nuanced perspective, emphasizing the importance of ethical business conduct and the integration of religious values in economic endeavors. Despite the stagnancy observed in the entrepreneurs' economic goals, there is potential for growth and alignment with Sharia principles through increased awareness and education on Islamic entrepreneurship.

The concept of Ahlu sunnah wal jamaah (Aswaja) remains a subject of frequent debate. This article endeavors to provide a comprehensive exploration of the Aswaja concept through the perspective of the archipelago scholar, K. Abu Fadlol As-Senori, a disciple of KH. Hashim Ash`ari, the founder of the Nahdlatul Ulama. This article also strives to establish a connection between the concept of Aswaja as it is found and the Aswaja concept of KH. Hashim Ash`ari. This research is a descriptive-qualitative study. This study revealed that Aswaja, as defined by K. Abul Fadlol, encompasses four distinct groups: (1) the Muhadditsin, (2) the Sufiyyah (3) the Ash'ariyah and (4) Maturidiyah. As a student of KH. Hashim Ash`ari, the Aswaja concept of K. Abul Fadlol has a very big aspect of similarity. The concept of Aswaja from both becomes the foundation for building moderation in religion. Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has been a life threatening and spreads wildly with physical human contact. Physical distancing is recommended by health experts to prevent the spread; thus, agronomic research has to be designed in conformity to this preventive standard during the pandemic. Consequently, this study was designed to evaluate the reliability of using digital tools in nutrient management research amid the COVID-19 pandemic in northern Nigeria. Fifty extension agents (EAs) were selected across 15 LGAs of Kaduna and Kano states. The EAs were trained on how to generate fertilizer recommendation using an android mobile phone-based nutrient expert (NE), to measure farmers’ field sizes using UTM Area measure mobile phone app, and open data kit to record, submit and aggregate data during the exercise. Each EA covered 50 farms, where two nutrient management practices—one determined by the farmers: farmer fertilizer practice (FFP), and the other generated using the NE were evaluated. Results show that around 90% of the farmers have an average field size of 1.13 ha. All selected farmers used improved maize varieties for planting, among which 21% been able to use the exact recommended or lower seed rate. Use of inorganic fertilizer was 33% higher than the average recommended NE rate, while average yield of the NE fields was 48% higher than for the FFP. The results of this study indicate that yield can be improved with site-specific nutrient management (SSNM) extension approach. The SSNM using digital tools as the NE seem promising and befits to agronomic research in northern Nigeria amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang pemanfaatan koleksi digital (SLIMS) sebagai sumber informasi pemustaka di Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Islam Makassar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini 1). Untuk mengetahui model koleksi digital (SLIMS) di Perpustakaan FISIP, 2). Pemanfaatan koleksi digital (SLIMS) sebagai sumber informasi pemustaka di Perpustakaan FISIP, 3). Kendala pemanfaatan koleksi digital (SLIMS) sebagai sumber informasi pemustaka di Perpustakaan FISIP. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan dengan Teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi kepada para informan. Penelitian ini mengambil 5 (lima) orang informan yang terdiri dari 1 Pustakawan dan 4 Pemustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Perpustakaan FISIP menerapkan model karya ilmiah digital (SLIMS) yang bersifat open source yang terdapat koleksi karya ilmiah mahasiswa seperti skripsi, tesis dan disertasi di publish online melalui halaman website resmi Perpustakaan Fisip, 2). SLIMS yang diakses melalui website yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pemustaka untuk mencari bahan referensi secara cepat dan tepat serta membantu pemustaka dalam penelusuran informasi karya ilmiah seperti skripsi, tesis dan disertasi, 3). Namun kendala yang didapatkan oleh pemustaka adalah akses jaringan yang masih sering eror dan website atau server dari SLIMS sendiri masih sering mengalami penurunan daya konektif pada jaringan internetnya.

Abstract Background Sleep disturbance is a common among people with hypertension. However, the mediating role of sleep disturbance in the association between hypertension and depression remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the mediating role of sleep disturbance in the association between hypertension and depression. Materials and methods This was cross-sectional study. The data were derived from the Indonesian Family Life Survey Fifth Wave (2014–2015). We include a total of 19,138 adults’ participants with age range from 18 to 65 years old who completed response on the variable of hypertension, sleep disturbance, and depression. The mediating model analysis was processed using the PROCESS macro ins SPSS from Hayes model. Results Depression was reported by 22% of total respondents. Mangrove forests in Aceh are significant because of their roles in ecological, socio-economic, and socio-cultural aspects. Mangrove restoration efforts must be based on adequate land assessment and regular evaluation of the viability of planted mangroves. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the bio-ecological characteristics of mangrove planting locations and evaluate land suitability in the restoration areas in Aceh Besar (Layeun Village) and Aceh Jaya (Babah Ie, Ujong Sudeun and Keude Unga Villages). This study was conducted in the YAGASU restoration area in Aceh Besar and Aceh Jaya Regencies in September 2022. The primary data consisted of the physicochemical characteristics of the environment, biodiversity, land suitability index, and plant survival rates after 3- 6 months planted. Data were analyzed using correlation, principal component analysis (PCA), cluster analysis (CA), descriptive statistics, and land suitability index. The result showed that the physical-chemical parameters of the environment are suitable for supporting the growth of mangroves and the livelihoods of various communities. In the study areas, the communities include 8 mangroves, 15 fish, 19 benthic, 11 zooplankton, and 22 phytoplankton species. Layeun, Ujong Sudeun, and Keude Unga Villages were found to have better land suitability than Babah Ie Village. However, an evaluation of the results of planting monitoring showed that Layeun has the highest survival rate compared to the other three villages. The results showed that pests, including buffalo and crustaceans, as well as sea waves, and the duration of the tides inundating the water are the main factors causing mangrove mortality. Abstract Background A substantially elevated Body Mass Index (BMI) is one of the largest global modifiable risk factors for stroke and heart diseases. Most studies classify BMI according to the WHO BMI cut-off point in stroke and heart disease studies. However, there is a limited understanding of the association between the BMI cut-off point in the Asian population category and stroke and heart disease. This study aimed to investigate the incidence rate ratio of stroke and heart disease by BMI categories for the Asian population. Methods A 7-year prospective longitudinal study (2007–2014) was conducted on 6,688 adult Indonesian individuals (≥ 35 years) residing across 13 different provinces in Indonesia during the survey periods. Data on BMI were collected in 2007. Information on stroke and heart disease was obtained in both 2007 and in 2014. A multivariate-adjusted Poisson regression model was used to estimate the incidence rate ratio (IRR) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of either stroke or heart disease or both stroke and heart disease by BMI. Results Among the 6,688 eligible participants, 334 (5%) were judged as stroke and heart disease in 2014. The IRR (95% CI) of stroke and heart disease for participants with obesity was 2.57 (1.64–4.04) compared with those within normal weight. Da'wah on Youtube is a part of the process of distributing da'wah messages through social media. The preachers use slang words in da’wah as a way to attract attention to audience, as personal identity, and to meet the standards of uses and gratification of the audience, even though they have to ignore the Qaulan ethics in da'wah. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe several conditions, situations and phenomena of da'wah on Youtube. Sources of research data are documentation, online surveys and in-depth interviews related to the phenomenon of using slang words in da'wah. Based on the research results, it was found that the use of slang words in da'wah aims to attract the attention of the audience, establish the personal identity, and meet the standards of uses and gratification based on cognitive, affective, and behavioral levels of the audience. A positive reconstruction is needed to minimize the occurrence of distortions in the use of slang words and the Qaulan ethics in da’wah.

This research aims to describe the concept of implementing Arabic language learning with school-based management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bulukumba. The method used in this research is field research. The results of this research concluded that the concept of implementing Arabic language learning with school-based management at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bulukumba was implemented through several strategies, namely listening skills (Istima) which were implemented through several activity steps, namely determining Istima' materials according to the theme to be taught, determining concepts relevant to istima. Meanwhile, the reading proficiency strategy (qira'ah) is implemented by the teacher reading Arabic texts well and correctly and also translating them, then students listen carefully. The skills in writing (kitabah) are carried out by the Arabic language study teacher by showing several sentences on the blackboard, then the students read and pay close attention for a few moments. Then the material is removed, then dictated, and students write into notebooks what the teacher dictates. For speaking skills (kalam), the Arabic language study teacher starts by pronouncing new vocabulary (mufrodat) one by one by the language study teacher and then imitates all the students.

Climate change and inter-annual variability cause variation in rainfall commencement and cessation which has consequences for the maize growing season length and thus impact yields. This study therefore sought to determine the spatially explicit optimum maize sowing dates to enable site specific recommendations in Nigeria. Gridded weather and soil data, crop management and cultivar were used to simulate maize yield from 1981-2019 at a scale of 0.5°. A total of 37 potential sowing dates between 1 March and 7 November at an interval of 7 days for each year were evaluated. The optimum sowing date was the date which maximizes yield at harvest, keeping all other management factors constant. The results show that optimum sowing dates significantly vary across the country with northern Nigeria having notably delayed sowing dates compared to southern Nigeria which has earlier planting dates. Qardhul Hasan is one of the alternatives for usury-based loans (debt). Islamic economic principles forbid a loan with interest. The aim of loan transactions through Qardhul Hasan is used to help increase the country's economic growth. This working paper aims to explain the concept of Qardhul Hasan management. The management of Qardhul Hasan can be implemented from zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf funds. One of the main regulations in carrying out the management of Qardhul Hasan is the DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 19/DSN-MUI/IV/2001 concerning al-Qardh. With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study aims to explain the implementation of the Qardhul Hasan contract at BAZNAS, BWI, and other Islamic financial institutions. BAZNAS and BWI are Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia that are active in implementing Qardhul Hasan in their operational activities. Therefore, the result of this research will also explain the differences in the management of Qardhul Hasan in BAZNAS Semarang Regency and BAZNAS Tulungagung Regency. This research is necessary to do because this study provides a descriptive perspective to explain the advantages of each of these Islamic financial institutions in detail. Moreover, the result of this study would become a comparison of each of the management of these Islamic financial institutions that can be input for every other Islamic financial institution.

The purpose of this research is to produce a valid and practical Arabic grammar e-worksheet for university students based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research type is Research & Development (R&D) with the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model. Research data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained from the validity and practicality questionnaires were tabulated for each component of the assessment and then the average score was calculated and converted into qualitative data. Documentation technique is done by analyzing documents in the form of syllabus, materials, and literatures. The results of this research and development show that the developed Arabic grammar e-worksheet is stated to be very valid with an average validity score of 4.35 and very practical with an average practicality score of 4.8. Based on the results, it is hoped that the lecturers will be able to use the developed e-worksheet in the Arabic grammar course, because it can facilitate students' higher-level thinking skills.

Summary: Background: The causes for immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) are diverse and the incidence trends of IMIDs from specific causes are rarely studied. The study aims to investigate the pattern and trend of IMIDs from 1990 to 2019. Methods: We collected detailed information on six major causes of IMIDs, including asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis, between 1990 and 2019, derived from the Global Burden of Disease study in 2019. The average annual percent change (AAPC) in number of incidents and age standardized incidence rate (ASR) on IMIDs, by sex, age, region, and causes, were calculated to quantify the temporal trends. Findings: In 2019, rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, asthma, multiple sclerosis, psoriasis, inflammatory bowel disease accounted 1.59%, 36.17%, 54.71%, 0.09%, 6.84%, 0.60% of overall new IMIDs cases, respectively. The ASR of IMIDs showed substantial regional and global variation with the highest in High SDI region, High-income North America, and United States of America. Throughout human lifespan, the age distribution of incident cases from six IMIDs was quite different. Globally, incident cases of IMIDs increased with an AAPC of 0.68 and the ASR decreased with an AAPC of −0.34 from 1990 to 2019. The incident cases increased across six IMIDs, the ASR of rheumatoid arthritis increased (0.21, 95% CI 0.18, 0.25), while the ASR of asthma (AAPC = −0.41), inflammatory bowel disease (AAPC = −0.72), multiple sclerosis (AAPC = −0.26), psoriasis (AAPC = −0.77), and atopic dermatitis (AAPC = −0.15) decreased. The ASR of overall and six individual IMID increased with SDI at regional and global level. Countries with higher ASR in 1990 experienced a more rapid decrease in ASR. Interpretation: The incidence patterns of IMIDs varied considerably across the world. Innovative prevention and integrative management strategy are urgently needed to mitigate the increasing ASR of rheumatoid arthritis and upsurging new cases of other five IMIDs, respectively. This study is to examine and analyze empirically the effect of E-Service Quality, Word Of Mouth and Corporate Image on Customer Decisions in Using Mobile Banking at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kendari Branch. This research is an explanatory research that aims to explain the causal relationship between variables using a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were customers using Mobile Banking at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kendari Branch totaling 138 people. The analytical method to answer the hypothesis in this study is the Multiple Regression method (multiple regression analysis) which measures the intensity of two variables, namely the independent variable and the dependent variable. The results showed that E-Service Quality, Word Of Mouth and Corporate Image had a positive and significant effect, then simultaneously and partially also had a positive and significant effect on Customer Decisions in using Mobile Banking at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kendari Branch. In conclusion, there is a positive and significant effect simultaneously (simultaneously) on Customer Decisions in using Mobile Banking at Bank Syariah Indonesia Kendari Branch. It is expected that Bank Syariah Indonesia Kendari Branch will further improve Service Quality, especially in Mobile Banking which is provided in order to produce a good view of customers so as to produce a quality image for the company.

The study of teaching Arabic models in Aliy Ma’had was necessary to be conducted. It could make contribution in designing Arabic teaching. The purpose of this research was to analyze the models of Arabic teaching. This research was field research which the researcher obtained and collected data from the research location. Two types of data were used in this research namely primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from sheikh of Ma'had, 3 chiefs of Ma'had, 10 teachers, and 30 students. Secondary data was obtained from alumni, documents, and online news that was related to the topic. In collecting data, observation, interview, documentation, and FGD were used. Miles and Huberman model was used in this research. The results showed that the teaching Arabic in Aliy Ma’had consisted of four models. First, teaching Arabic with a conventional model: teaching that took place in official classes. Second, teaching Arabic with an extracurricular model: teaching that takes place outside the classroom and is supported by conventional teaching to improve both Arabic language skills. Third, teaching Arabic with the halaqiyah model: students learnt classical Islamic sciences by sitting on the floor in front of the teacher, which took place in the mosque after every evening and dawn prayers. Fourth, teaching Arabic with visiting teacher’s house where students studied further to strengthen scientific and spiritual connections. This research suggested the teacher and the institution in improving this topic to contribute Arabic teaching development in Aliy Ma’had.

This study is motivated by two things, namely Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, and the population of Indonesia has a high cultural diversity. This qualitative research applies a content analysis and semantic approach to analyze the texts and documents. Conceptually, proper education can shape character through the inculcation of religious values and local wisdom. At the same time, wise expressions in the Bugis advice are analyzed with a content analysis approach. The results of the analysis show two main points. First, character building starts from the human side. The Qur'an shows that character building must start from the inner dimension of the human being. It is indicated by the word 'anfus' in the Quran. Second, the central values of Bugis' local wisdom align with the universal values of the Quran, namely coaching that touches the inner dimension in the form of ideas, beliefs, and awareness of the importance of these noble values in attitudes and behavior. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dua hal yaitu Indonesia sebagai negara dengan penduduk muslim terbesar di dunia, dan penduduk Indonesia yang memiliki keragaman budaya yang tinggi. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi dan semantik untuk menganalisis teks dan dokumen. Secara konseptual, pendidikan yang tepat dapat membentuk karakter melalui penanaman nilai-nilai agama dan kearifan lokal. Sementara itu, ungkapan bijak dalam petuah Bugis dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis isi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan dua poin utama. Pertama, pembentukan karakter dimulai dari sisi kemanusiaan. Al-Qur'an menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter harus dimulai dari dimensi batin manusia. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan kata 'anfus' dalam Al-Qur'an. Kedua, nilai-nilai sentral kearifan lokal Bugis selaras dengan nilai-nilai universal al-Qur'an, yaitu pembinaan yang menyentuh dimensi batin berupa gagasan, keyakinan, dan kesadaran akan pentingnya nilai-nilai luhur tersebut dalam sikap dan perilaku.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has grown to be a serious issue on a global scale. Dental care is one of the industries affected by COVID-19. The surveillance utilizing lifetime data, however, is still not clear. The purpose of this study was to use Google Trends (GT) analysis to examine symptom trends and challenges during the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia. Methods: Covid-19 cases retrieve from Our World in Data. The cases were collected between 1 April 2021-30 September 2021. The GT was used to discover Indonesian relative search volume (RSVs) covering the timeframe of the first outbreak covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia on 1 March 2020 until 13 February 2022. The duration of the search was chosen to reflect the relative popularity of the keywords "symptoms and dentistry practice challenge-related terms" and "coronavirus". Results: We observed that there was a significant and positive correlation between the COVID-19 daily case using GT RSV data and the COVID-19 case from Our World in Data. The COVID-19 daily case had a strong correlation with search terms related to symptoms (such as fever, sore throat, flu, toothache, and cough), drugs (such as ibuprofen, paracetamol, demacolin, bodrex, and antibiotic), and health management (such as self-isolation and telemedicine). Conclusion: Using GT may be helpful to observe the current symptoms trends as well as its challenge tendencies as a surveillance tool for a continuing pandemic like COVID-19. GT should be considered and used as it has the potential to be a powerful digital epidemiology tool that can provide more insight into disease dynamics.

Wood-feeding termites and wood-decaying fungi share a niche and likely interact, impacting wood degradation processes. Prior research has primarily examined termite the preferences for decayed wood species, revealing instances of termite feeding deterrence in response to fungal decay products. The compound that caused the deterrence effect was extracted and studies regarding the suspected compound and its toxicity has been previously conducted. In this study, further observation of the extract retention and concentrations were asessed against Reticulitermes speratus. Result indicated that the decayed wood extract retains its deterrent activity for up to four days post-application, with a peak effect observed within the initial hours. Furthermore, the concentration of the extract correlates with both feeding deterrence and termite mortality, suggesting a concentration-dependent relationship. Results show a significant decrease in feeding and increase in mortality with longer exposure durations, indicating sustained deterrent activity for up to four days. Higher extract volumes correlate with reduced feeding and increased mortality, supporting concentration-dependent deterrence. Highest mortality was observed after 24 hours of exposure, suggesting continued toxicity despite diminished deterrence.

The Prosperous People Poverty Surgery Program is one of the Ministry of Agriculture programs which aims to alleviate poverty and empower the poor to increase income and welfare through integrated agricultural activities. One type of aid distributed was assistance from broilers distributed in Awo Village, Keera Sub-District, Wajo District, South Sulawesi Province. This study aims to determine the stages of implementing the BEKERJA program and determine the effectiveness of the BEKERJA program for Poor Households. In this study, the number of informants was 13 people consisting of 1 key informant, 10 main informants, and 2 supporting informants. The analysis method used in this research was a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This study uses four indicators in determining program effectiveness: the accuracy of program targets, program socialization, program objectives, and program monitoring. The results show that the effectiveness of the BEKERJA program is less effective because the indicators used in measuring the effectiveness do not meet the effective criteria.

Coastal rice farming is vulnerable to climate change, including flooding and extreme weather events. To enhance resilience and productivity, innovative approaches are essential. A study investigated the effects of soil amendment and biofertilizers on rice yield. The findings showed that the use of halotolerant rice varieties and the application of soil amendment and biofertilizers can serve as a primary strategy for flooded rice farming. Sustainable farming practices can empower coastal communities to better adapt to climate change and improve the sustainability of rice production.

Tourism is one of the sectors affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, due to the implementation of lockdowns and social distancing in various countries around the world. Likewise with the countries that are members of the OIC. The pandemic that has hit since the end of 2019 has reduced the number of domestic and foreign tourists traveling to various tourist attractions, both domestically and abroad. This of course has an impact on slower economic growth. Therefore, using the variables of the tourism sector, inflation, foreign direct investment, and economic growth, this study aims to explain the causality of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism sector and the economic growth of OIC member countries. This study uses the P-VECM analysis technique to determine the short-term and long-term effects of the variables used. The results of this study reveal that the tourism sector, inflation, and foreign direct investment have short-term and long-term effects on economic growth.

Eight field pea parental lines and their twenty-eight F1s resulting from diallel design (excluding reciprocal) were analyzed for their combining ability and heterosis for yield and associated traits. ANOVA revealed significant variation among parents and among hybrids for days to 50% flowering, plant height, total number of pods, effective pods, seeds per pod, 100-seed weight, biological yield and seed yield; pod length also revealed significant differences among hybrids, suggesting the occurrence of considerable variability for studied traits. Crosses P-1541-16 × P-92-97-11 and P-1541-16 × P-1297-97 displayed significant heterosis over better-parent and control varieties for seed yield and associated traits. Combining ability analysis showedthat SCAvariance was considerably higher than corresponding GCAvariance for all traits. Genotype Aman and P-1297-97 were identified as good general combiners for seed yield, while cross P-1541-16 × P-1297-97, Aman × EC-564817, P-1541-16 × P-92-97-11 and P-1297-97 × P-92-97-11 were identified as specific cross-combiners for most of the studied traits. Consequently, these crosses might be exploited in future breeding programs to find desired segregants. PCA explained 81.68% and 83.34% variability in parents and crosses, respectively, for yield component. Furthermore, trait association between GCA effects and SCA effects demonstrates that biological yield, total number of pods, and effective pods exhibit additive gene action, but 100-seed weight exhibits non-additive gene action.

There are five main factors that affect the entry of investors into a country, namely political stability, legal certainty, consistent policies, regulations, and taxes. This research is a literature study that summarizes some literature relevant to the theme. Data collection methods are literature studies that use books and literature, notes, journals and others as the main research objects. The purpose of this paper is to know the investment climate in Indonesia and the application of omnibus law as a solution, as well as to know the challenges of implementing omnibus law in Indonesia. The results showed that Indonesia was dubbed a hyperegulation country that reached 42,996 with details, central regulations as many as 8,414, ministerial regulations 14,453, non-ministry government agency regulations 4,164, and local regulations as many as 15,965. Too much will have an impact on the overlap and inconsistency of regulations between the center and the area causing vertical and horizontal conflicts. The government deregulates and debirokratization through omnibus law with two substances, namely the Omnibus Law Copyright Act which contains 11 clusters that combine 79 laws in which it concerns rules on employment, licensing alignment, investment requirements, to government administration. The challenge of implementing omnibus law is that Indonesia adheres to the civil law system while the concept of omnibus law adherents common law and still new. There is a public reaction between the pros and cons because the manufacturing process is not transparent and participatory, and omnibus law is not in accordance with the provisions of the establishment of laws and regulations. However, legally omnibus law is appropriate after the passing of Law No. 15 of 2019 concerning Changes to Law No. 12 of 2011.

Soil salinity is a major limiting factor for crop productivity, which increases continuously due to climate change. This barrier can possibly be overcome with the occurrence of halotolerant endophytic bacteria which reportedly plays an important role in protecting plants against various environmental stresses. Therefore, plant growth-promoting microbes are used in agriculture as an inexpensive and eco-friendly technology to enhance crop productivity in saline areas. In this study, the three isolates with nitrogen fixation ability were applied for mitigation of salt stress. The isolates were coded as C3A1, C8D2, and K10P4 and applied to rice plants by seed priming method. Furthermore, they were given as single innoculant or combined as a consortium compared to control, which was without the addition of endophytic bacteria, while the inoculated seed was planted on saline semisolid Fahraeus media at 4 dS m−1. The results showed that the single isolate of K10P4 endophytic bacteria increased the dry weight of rice plants, N uptake, and chlorophyll of plants in saline conditions. The combination of K10P4 isolate with C8D2 was synergistic and increased the population of endophytic bacteria in root tissue and chlorophyll content compared to the combination of C3A1 or three isolates. Meanwhile, the use of the 16S ribosomal RNA method on C3A1, C8D2, and K10P4 indentified the isolates as Ochrobactrum tritici (C3A1), Pseudomonas stutzeri (C8D2), and Pseudomonas stutzeri (K10P4).

Objectives This study investigated the determinants of undiagnosed hypertension among Indonesian adults. Methods This study involved an analysis of secondary data from the 2014 Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) on 5914 Indonesian adults (≥40 years). The determinant variables examined in this cross-sectional study were education level, monthly per capita expenditures (PCE), whether the participant experienced headaches in the morning, and other general health variables. The outcome variable was undiagnosed hypertension, which was defined as participants with hypertension who had not received a hypertension diagnosis from a health professional and had never been prescribed medication for treating hypertension. The data were analyzed using logistic regression. Results A total of 3322 participants (56.2%) were found to have undiagnosed hypertension. The odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of undiagnosed hypertension were significantly higher among those who completed primary school or lower (OR, 1.60; 95% CI, 1.29 to 1.98), had low monthly PCE (OR, 1.28; 95% CI, 1.13 to 1.43), did not report experiencing headaches in the morning (OR, 1.97; 95% CI, 1.76 to 2.21), and reported a general health status of healthy (OR, 2.05; 95% CI, 1.82 to 2.30) than those who had a higher education level, had high monthly PCE, experienced headaches in the morning, and were unhealthy. Conclusions Education level, monthly PCE, the experience of headaches in the morning, and general health status were associated with undiagnosed hypertension. The monitoring system for detecting undiagnosed hypertension cases must be strengthened. Health promotion is also necessary to reduce the prevalence of undiagnosed hypertension.

Natural latex is the sap produced by rubber plants, often found in Sumatra, rubber is a natural product that has the potential to be used for various kinds of human needs, especially for asphalt mixture substitution needs. Natural latex can improve the quality and quality of the asphalt mixture. The method used in testing the 2018 Bina Marga & ASSTHO methods. The use of natural latex first testing for the manufacture of KAO values (optimum Asphalt content) by making test specimens mixed with asphalt content ranging from 3% and 6%. The optimum asphalt content was obtained and then tested by mixing latex with variations in the composition of the mixture starting at 0%, 3%, and 6%. The collision was carried out with a standard proctor with a collision of 2 x 75 until the test object was declared solid and then tested with a Marshall tool. The test results from determining the optimum asphalt content of 4% there are results of 845 kg, 5% asphalt content of 1015 kg, 6 and 7%, and the stability values obtained are 1015kg and 850 kg respectively. this value still meets the specified standard while the ductility test value obtained >1000 mm also still meets. Meanwhile, at levels of 3 and 6%, the stability value was reduced and did not meet the standard. The results of the tests showed the addition of latex substitution with high latex content, ductility was still met but the stability value decreased on the contrary

The soils of the Nigeria savannas are particularly low in nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) and negatively affects maize productivity. The main objective of the study was to evaluate the interactive effect of N and P fertilizers on maize growth, grain yield, nitrogen uptake and N use efficiency. Field experiments were conducted during the 2015 and 2016 cropping seasons at Iburu in southern Guinea and Zaria in northern Guinea savanna zones of Nigeria. The treatments consisted of three levels of nitrogen (0, 60, and 120 kg N ha−1) and three levels of phosphorus (0, 13, and 26 kg P ha−1). The experimental design consisted of three replications in a split-plot design, with N as the main plot and P as the subplot. Our results show that the response of maize to N depends on the application of P. Higher yields were obtained with the combined application of 120 kg N ha−1 and 26 kg P ha−1 in both locations. With no P applied, plant N uptake (PNU) was greater at N rate of 120 kg ha−1 at Iburu while in Zaria, it increases with increase in N from 0 to 60 kg ha−1. When P was applied at 13 kg ha−1, the PNU increased by 52 and 66% at Iburu while in Zaria the increases were 51 and 57% each with N application of 60 and 120 kg ha−1, respectively, compared with zero N rate. The values for N recovery efficiency (NRE) and agronomic efficiency (AE) were lower for N rate of 120 than for 60 kg ha−1 irrespective of P application rate at both locations. The N utilization efficiency (NUTE) however was higher at 120 N kg ha−1 under 26 kg P ha−1across locations. It can be concluded from these results that in low fertile soils environments such as the Nigeria savannas, N fertilizer should be applied along with P fertilizer for optimum growth, grain yield and nitrogen use efficiency of maize.

Abstract Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is associated with altered cellular and humoral immune response, especially in patients with an untreated or chronic infection. This may be due to direct and/or indirect HIV viral activities resulting in T‐ and B‐cells dysfunctions. Although still unclear, various studies have proposed that HIV infection may exacerbate the clinical outcomes of COVID‐19. Indeed, COVID‐19 vaccines were developed in record time and have been shown to reduce the severity of COVID‐19 in the general population. These vaccines were also earmarked as a solution to global disruptions caused by the COVID‐19 pandemic. HIV infection has been reported to reduce the efficacy of various other vaccines including those used against Streptococcus pneumoniae, Clostridium tetani, and influenza viruses. However, current guidelines for the administration of available COVID‐19 vaccines do not account for the immune‐compromised state of people living with HIV (PLWH). We discuss here the potentials, nature, and implications of this HIV‐induced dampening of the humoral immune response on COVID‐19 vaccines by first reviewing the literature about efficacy of previous vaccines in PLWH, and then assessing the proportion of PLWH included in phase III clinical trials of the COVID‐19 vaccines currently available. The clinical and public health implications as well as suggestions for governments and non‐governmental organizations are also proposed in the context of whether findings on the safety and efficacy of the vaccines could be extended to PLWH. Impacts The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is characterized by attenuated humoral immunity that may reduce the efficacy of vaccines in people living with HIV (PLWH). Vaccination against the SARS‐CoV‐2 infection remains the main public health answer to the COVID‐19 pandemic. Although no significant safety concerns have been raised regarding the COVID‐19 vaccines in PLWH, the efficacy of these vaccines in PLWH has not received due attention. Indeed, phase III clinical trials for the safety and efficacy of COVID‐19 vaccines involved a significantly low number of PLWH. There are major gaps in knowledge on the efficacy of COVID‐19 vaccines in PLWH and until further research is carried out, PLWH should be prioritized along with other at‐risk groups for repeated vaccination and safeguard.

Abstract Low nutrient use efficiency in maize as a result of imbalanced nutrition has been reported to drastically reduce yield. We implemented a nutrient omission experiment to assess the effect of nutrient application on maize yield and nutritional balance. Maize ear leaves were analyzed for nutrients, to identify nutrient balance status using the Diagnostic and Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS) approach. Results indicated that omission of N or P resulted in highly imbalanced DRIS indices respectively, and significantly lower grain yield. A strong inverse relationship between K ear leaf content with DRIS index suggests that K application negatively increases K imbalance in many situations. Imbalances of Mg, Ca and Cu were more associated with higher yielding treatments. A Which-Won-Where result show that nutrient imbalances in the diagnosis were systematically frequent when N was omitted. All the diagnosed nutrients were imbalanced even under the highest yielding NPKZn treatment; indicating further opportunity for yield increase with more balanced nutrition. Balanced nutrition of maize in the maize belt of Nigeria should target application of varying rates of N, P, K, Mg, S and Zn, depending on the soil conditions. But, because of complexities of nutrient interactions during uptake, it is hardly possible to realize a balanced nutrition. However, differentiating the application of antagonistic nutrients into foliar or soil-based methods is recommended for a more balanced maize nutrition.

Cowpea is a multifaceted crop; however, considerable challenges affect the production of this crop despite its comparatively better adaptation to harsh environments. Most smallholder farmers in West Africa cultivate this crop in intercropping systems where its low plant population does not allow the full expression of the cultivars’ yield potential. This is because most varieties currently grown in intercrop have been developed in and for monocropping, although some breeding programs recently have focused on intercrop systems. This study, therefore, aimed to evaluate the performance of some newly developed cowpea breeding lines for adaptation to intercropping systems. Firstly, an on-station field experiment was conducted in 2018. The selected promising lines and a standard check were evaluated in three locations in an intercropping system and on-farm trials. Significant differences were observed among the cowpea genotypes for all the traits measured. Two improved lines, UAM14-122-17-7 and UAM14-123-18-3, had superior grain and fodder yields under sole and intercropping systems and in different agroecological systems, revealing their adaptability. Based on our findings, UAM14-122-17-7 and UAM14-123-18-3 are recommended for a cereal-cowpea mixture because they are adapted to intercropping and produce high-grain yield under intercrop and sole-cropping systems.

The scientific approach has been applied in Arabic learning in schools/madrasah throughout Indonesia over the past few years. However, this is not the case in Islamic boarding schools, not all Islamic boarding schoolsapply this scientific approach in Arabic learning. This research aims to reveal the teacher’s perception of the application of scientific approaches in Arabic learning in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used was a survey method. The research sample consisted of 20 Islamic boarding schools in the province of West Sumatra. Research data were collected through a questionnaire filled out by Arabic language teachers in the Islamic boarding schools. The data analysis technique is descriptive quantitative analysis using percentages. The results showed that the majority of teachers agreed with the application of the scientific approach in Arabic learning in Islamic boarding schools since the majority of teachers perceive that the scientific approach is appropriate and effective to be used in Arabic learning. However, some teachers still find difficulties in implementing it even though they have participated in various trainings. In addition, not all Islamic boarding schools are equipped with adequate infrastructure to support the implementation of a scientific approach.Therefore, it is needed a policy from the authorities to improve teacher competence and complete facilities for the implementation of scientific approach towards Arabic learning in Islamic boarding schools.

Interpretations of the modern period are very diverse in terms of methodology. One of them is a work of interpretation from Muhammad Amin al-Syinqiti with his monumental work Adwa’ Al-Bayan fi Idah al-Qur'an bi Al-Qur'an. Al-Syinqiti is a Maliki scholar active in the field of education and teaching, preacher and a judge. The interpretation aims to find the meanings, wisdom and laws contained in the Qur'an, and invite Muslims to return to the Qur'an in living their lives. This study describes the methodology of its interpretation which includes the general systematic interpretation, the methods used in interpreting the Qur'an include the methods of tahlili, Muqarin, and ijmali. The analysis of tahlili and muqa>rin on ayat al-ahkam, while the ijmali method in eschatological verses and verses of nature, other than ayat al-ahkam. The form of interpretation is bi al-ma’sur and bi al-ra’yi. The form of interpretation is inseparable from the sources it uses, namely originating in the Qur'an, hadith, qaul sahabah, ulama convention, poetry, and qira'at sab'ah. The interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an (verse by verse) becomes dominant in its interpretation. Muhammad Amin al-Syinqiti adalah seorang ulama bermazhab Maliki yang aktif pada bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran, pendakwah dan seorang hakim. Penafsirannya bertujuan untuk menemukan makna-makna, hikmah dan hukum-hukum yang terdapat dalam al-Qur’an, dan mengajak umat Islam kembali pada al-Qur’an dalam menjalani hidup. Kajian ini mendeskripsikan metodologi tafsirnya yang mencakup sistematika umum penafsirannya, metode yang digunakannya dalam menafsirkan al-Qur’an diantaranya metode tahlili, Muqarin, dan ijmali. Food security and livelihoods among smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa are often constrained by limited farm resource endowment. It can be difficult to improve resource endowment given barriers such as low land availability and the unaffordability of agricultural inputs, so here we ask whether farmers can gain a better return on their resources through optimizing their farm strategy in terms of the composition and/or diversity of crop and livestock species raised. Our survey of 1,133 smallholder farmers in western Kenya and northern Nigeria, using a modified version of RHoMIS, indicated that different farm strategies were related to differences in food security and farm incomes. In particular, we found that it was possible for farms with a high species richness but low resource endowment to achieve similar or better food security and income outcomes than farms with low species richness and high resource endowment. This indicates strong potential for diversification to improve food security and livelihoods among smallholder farmers. However, further research will be required to prove a causal relationship. We also noted some exceptions to this trend that require investigation: increasing species richness was not beneficial for low-resourced, livestock-focused farmers in western Kenya, and increasing species richness was associated with a decline in dietary diversity in northern Nigeria (due to declines in purchased dietary diversity that outweighed increases in on-farm and other sources of dietary diversity). Similar analyses could be applied to a wider RHoMIS dataset covering a greater diversity of countries and agro-ecological zones to help identify where, and why, different farm strategies result in better or worse outcomes for smallholder farmers.

The study is aimed to determine the values of Pasang ri Kajang in building the youth character of environmental love in Tana Toa Village, Kajang District, Bulukumba Regency. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with intercultural communication as the approach of study. The data are obtained from Ammatoa with its traditional stakeholders, the Ammatoa youth community as well as community leaders who have concerned with Ammatoa community members. Data are analyzed using semiotics analysis. The results of the Pasang believed to be the will of Turiek Akrakna, which is handed down to Ammatoa I, and passed onto his successor, Ammatoa, is a source of values that govern the world life in its journey towards a life in the days to come. The noble values that can be implemented into conservation character education from the local wisdom of the Ammatoa indigenous people are about 1) Love to Almighty God and His universe; 2) Be responsibility, discipline, and independence; 3) Be honest, 4) Be scrupulous; 5) Work hard in preserving nature; 6) Do justice; 7) Be Modesty; and 8) Love for peace and unity. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai Pasang ri Kajang dalam membangun karakter pemuda cinta lingkungan di Desa Tana Toa Kecamatan Kajang Kabupaten Bulukumba. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan komunikasi antarbudaya. Sumber data diperoleh dari Ammatoa dengan para pemangku adatnya, Warga masyarakat (pemuda), serta tokoh masyarakat yang mempunyai kepedulian terhadap warga masyarakat Keammatoaan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis semiotika. Hasil penelitian Pasang yang diyakini sebagai kehendak dari Turiek Akrakna yang diturunkan kepada Ammatoa I, dan diteruskan kepada Ammatoa penerusnya, merupakan sumber nilai-nilai yang mengatur kehidupan dunia dalam perjalanannya menuju kehidupan di hari kemudian. Nilai-nilai luhur yang dapat diimplementasikan ke dalam pendidikan karakter konservasi dari kearifan lokal masyarakat adat Ammatoa adalah: 1) cinta kepada Tuhan dan alam semesta beserta isinya, 2) tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan mandiri, 3) jujur, 4) teliti, 5) kerja keras dalam pelestarian alam, 6) keadilan, 7) Kesederhanan , 8) cinta damai dan persatuan. Nilai-nilai tersebut sangat cocok diimplementasikan dalam membangun karakter anak akan cinta lingkungan terutama lingkungan hutan.

Background The Government of Indonesia is determined to follow global commitments to reduce the neonatal mortality rate. Yet, there is a paucity of information on contributing factors and causes of neonatal deaths, particularly at the sub-national level. This study describes care-seeking during neonates’ fatal illnesses and their causes of death. Methods We conducted a cross-sectional community-based study to identify all neonatal deaths in Serang and Jember Districts, Indonesia. Follow-up interviews were conducted with the families of deceased neonates using an adapted verbal and social autopsy instrument. Cause of death was determined using the InSilicoVA algorithm. Results The main causes of death of 259 neonates were prematurity (44%) and intrapartum-related events (IPRE)-mainly birth asphyxia (39%). About 83% and 74% of the 259 neonates were born and died at a health facility, respectively; 79% died within the first week after birth. Of 70 neonates whose fatal illness began at home, 59 (84%) sought care during the fatal illness. Forty-eight of those 59 neonates went to a formal care provider; 36 of those 48 neonates (75%) were moderately or severely ill when the family decided to seek care. One hundred fifteen of 189 neonates (61%) whose fatal illnesses began at health facilities were born at a hospital. Among those 115, only 24 (21%) left the hospital alive–of whom 16 (67%) were referred by the hospital. Conclusions The high proportion of deaths due to prematurity and IPRE suggests the need for improved management of small and asphyxiated newborns. The moderate to severe condition of neonates at the time when care was sought from home highlights the importance of early illness recognition and appropriate management for sick neonates. Among deceased neonates whose fatal illness began at their delivery hospital, the high proportion of referrals may indicate issues with hospital capability, capacity, and/or cost.

Background Despite the increased access to facility-based delivery in Indonesia, the country’s maternal mortality remains unacceptably high. Reducing maternal mortality requires a good understanding of the care-seeking pathways for maternal complications, especially with the government moving toward universal health coverage. This study examined care-seeking practices and health insurance in instances of pregnancy-related deaths in Jember District, East Java, Indonesia. Methods This was a community-based cross-sectional study to identify all pregnancy-related deaths in the district from January 2017 to December 2018. Follow-up verbal and social autopsy interviews were conducted to collect information on care-seeking behavior, health insurance, causes of death, and other factors. Findings Among 103 pregnancy-related deaths, 40% occurred after 24 hours postpartum, 36% during delivery or within the first 24 hours postpartum, and 24% occurred while pregnant. The leading causes of deaths were hemorrhage (38.8%), pregnancy-induced hypertension (20.4%), and sepsis (16.5%). Most deaths occurred in health facilities (81.6%), primarily hospitals (74.8%). Nearly all the deceased sought care from a formal health provider during their fatal illness (93.2%). Seeking any care from an informal provider during the fatal illness was more likely among women who died after 24 hours postpartum (41.0%, OR 7.4, 95% CI 1.9, 28.5, p = 0.049) or during pregnancy (29.2%, OR 4.4, 95% CI 1.0, 19.2, p = 0.003) than among those who died during delivery or within 24 hours postpartum (8.6%). There was no difference in care-seeking patterns between insured and uninsured groups. Conclusions The fact that women sought care and reached health facilities regardless of their insurance status provides opportunities to prevent deaths by ensuring that every woman receives timely and quality care. Accordingly, the increasing demand should be met with balanced readiness of both primary care and hospitals to provide quality care, supported by an effective referral system.

Spatially explicit information on soil variability is relevant for agronomic decisions; however, such information is limited in the northern Guinea savanna (NGS) agroecological zone of Nigeria. This study was conducted to delineate soil nutrient management zones (MZs), based on spatial variability of soils in the smallholder maize-based farming system within the NGS. Two hundred and eighty-nine soil samples were analyzed for some physical and chemical properties. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used to aggregate the soil properties into four principal components, which accounted for about 60% of the variation in the data, and spatial variability was assessed with a semivariogram. The ordinary kriging technique was used to predict soil properties at unsampled locations, while weighted overlay analysis was conducted to delineate nutrient management zones. Results showed that total nitrogen (0.06%), available phosphorus (5.6 mg kg−1), organic carbon (0.66%), and effective cation exchange capacity (5.6 cmol(+) kg−1) are below optimal requirement for maize production. Four MZs were identifiable in the region with the highest fertility (MZ3 and MZ4) associated with the northern area but covering a relatively small part (9.1%). The differences observed in soil properties among the MZs suggest that each zone requires different agronomic management, especially in relation to fertilizer application.

The North Coast of Central Java is a key location where 12% of Indonesia's anchovy catch, or 23,560 tons, is produced by purse seine fishing. We used the FPIs tool, which has 68 different measures scored from 1 to 5 by experts, to evaluate the environmental, economic, and community performance of the anchovy fishing industry on Java's north coast. The result shows that the community pillar performs relatively better (an average score of 3.6) than the ecology and economy pillars, only 2.63 and 2.68, respectively. This research highlights the overcapacity of the fishery and the decreased trend of the anchovy's abundance index, indicating the fishery's unperformed ecology and economic dimension. This research suggests that despite the fishery's poor ecological and economic performance, the local community's dependence on anchovy resources remains high, as suggested by significant involvement in the fishing and processing of the catch and ownership of most vessels the local fishers possess.

Improper nutrient management reduces the yield and affects the nutrient status of crops. This study aimed to diagnose the nutrients limitation in maize. A three-year multi-location (348 sites) nutrient experiments were conducted in randomized block design to analyse nutrients limitation for maize production under conventional fertilizer recommendation system in Nigeria using DRIS, and to identify soil factors that influence DRIS indices using random forest model. DRIS indices for nutrients were calculated from the results of ear leaf samples collected from the experimental plots. The DRIS indices were summed, and used to cluster plots using k-means cluster algorithm. The results show large differences in average yield between the clusters. The clusters also differed based on frequency with which nutrients are most limiting. B was the most limiting in cluster one and three, Mn in cluster two and K in cluster four. Random forest results show that soil pH, B and Mg had the largest influence on DRIS indices in cluster one. DRIS indices were most influenced by soil N and B in cluster two. To a lesser extent, the soil Fe, K, Mg and S contents also influenced DRIS indices in cluster two. Soil K, B and Zn were the most significant factors influencing the DRIS indices in cluster four. Bulk Density, Fe, Na, ECEC, and organic carbon had a moderate influence on the indices in this cluster. Nutrient limitation in plants can be diagnose using the DRIS. Soil properties have a definite influence on maize nutrient status.

Field pea is one of the important short-duration cool season pulse crops which contributes significantly towards food and nutritional security. Two heat-susceptible (HS) and two heat-tolerant (HT) genotypes were selected from the previous study for further characterization. A significant variation was observed for morpho-physiological traits studied. Principal component analysis explained that first two principal components, i.e., PC1 and PC2 showed 76.5% of the total variance in optimal condition, whereas 91.2% of the total variance was covered by the first two PCs in heat stress environment. The seed yield per plant determined significant and positive association with superoxide dismutase and number of seeds per pod under optimal conditions, whereas under heat stress condition, it was positively associated with number of effective pods per plant, biological yield per plant, proline, pod length, number of seeds per pod, superoxide dismutase, and peroxidase. The significant reduction was noticed in the susceptible genotypes, whereas tolerant genotypes showed stable and non-significant reduction in chlorophyll content. Further, minimum cell damage and higher hydrogen peroxide production was noticed in the susceptible genotypes. In addition, the biochemical characterization of HS and HT genotypes revealed that the higher expression of peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, and catalase modulates the tolerant responses in HT genotypes. These genotypes were further used in developing heat-tolerant field pea genotypes.

Globally, abiotic stresses, such as temperature (heat or cold), water (drought and flooding), and salinity, cause significant losses in crop production and have adverse effects on plant growth and development. A variety of DNA-based molecular markers, such as SSRs, RFLPs, AFLPs, SNPs, etc., have been used to screen germplasms for stress tolerance and the QTL mapping of stress-related genes. Such molecular-marker-assisted selection strategies can quicken the development of tolerant/resistant cultivars to withstand abiotic stresses. Oilseeds such as rapeseed, mustard, peanuts, soybeans, sunflower, safflower, sesame, flaxseed, and castor are the most important source of edible oil worldwide. Although oilseed crops are known for their capacity to withstand abiotic challenges, there is a significant difference between actual and potential yields due to the adaptation and tolerance to severe abiotic pressures. This review summarizes the applications of molecular markers to date to achieve abiotic stress tolerance in major oilseed crops. The molecular markers that have been reported for genetic diversity studies and the mapping and tagging of genes/QTLs for drought, heavy metal stress, salinity, flooding, cold and heat stress, and their application in the MAS are presented.

The government has made many laws and regulations, but corruption issues cannot yet be controlled. Police and Prosecuting Attorney Institutions have not yet functioned effectively and efficiently in eradicating corruption. Therefore, the public hopes Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK)/the Corruption Eradication Commission eliminates the crime. KPK is considerably appreciated by the public due to Operasi Tangkap Tangan (OTT)/Red-handed Catch Operation to many government officials involved in bribery action, but the subject matter thereof is whether the OTT is in line with the fundamental consideration of KPK founding pursuant to Law Number 30 of 2002 as updated by the Law Number 19 of 2019 in order to increase the eradication of corruption crime causing the state's financial loss with respect to people welfare particularly KPK powers pursuant to the provision of Article 11 thereof, among others, specifying that KPK shall be authorized to conduct inquiry, investigation and prosecution on corruption crime related to the state financial loss of at least Rp 1,000,000,000 but in fact many OTTs performed by KPK have a value of hundred million Rupiah only and even there are any cases below Rp 100,000,000.-, and bribery action control through OTT being more dominant if compared to the state's financial corruption is not in line with the primary consideration of KPK founding, and similarly the OTT below 1 billion Rupiah doesn't conform to the provision of Article 11 thereof.

Word Division is a local shoe brand that uses endorsers in its promotion. One of the endorsers chosen was Yoshiolo but Yoshiolo was better known through promotional content for foreign brands. This study aims to determine the influence of Yoshiolo as an endorser of the Word Division brand image. This study uses this study using a survey approach using questionnaires as a basic data collection tool and generally uses statistical methods. The results of the analysis show that Yoshiolo as an endorser has a positive and significant influence on the Word Division brand image

The study addresses honorific greeting delivered by Bima community using Donggo dialect to greet others. Specifically, the honorific address is used to greet elders using specific names that the local culturally indicates high respocet and honor. This study used qualitative approach and rooted on the sociolinguistics as the foundation of the understanding of the socio-cultural perspectives. The site of the study was Mbawa village, Donggo ditrict, Bima Regency. A number of local community consisting of 50 adult men and 50 adult women were observed as the informants of the study. Data were collected using direct observation and interview. Results show that Bima community perceive greeting is socially embedded in the culture to raise honor to others, elders, mates and the younger. The culture system in the Bima tradition is using modified self-naming to put respect and honor. The system of honorific address socially expresses politeness and religious values that root from the Islamic teaching. As the address system embeds cultural values that in sociolinguistic refers to politeness this study adversely contributes teaching language for secondary school students, implying that self-naming to express honorific address is contributable to school curriculum.
