BackgroundProteins are integral part of all living beings, which are building blocks of many amino acids. To be functionally active, amino acids chain folds up in a complex way to give each protein a unique 3D shape, where a minor error may cause misfolded structure. Genetic disorder diseases i.e.Alzheimer, Parkinson,etc. arise due to misfolding in protein sequences. Thus, identifying patterns of amino acids is important for inferring protein associated genetic diseases. Recent studies in predicting amino acids patterns focused on only simple protein misfolded disease i.e.Chromaffin Tumor, by association rule mining. However, more complex diseases are yet to be attempted. Moreover, association rules obtained by these studies were not verified by usefulness measuring tools.ResultsIn this work, we analyzed protein sequences associated with complex protein misfolded diseases (i.e.Sickle Cell Anemia, Breast Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis, Nephrogenic Diabetes Insipidus,andRetinitis Pigmentosa 4) by association rule mining technique and objective interestingness measuring tools. Experimental results show the effectiveness of our method.ConclusionAdopting quantitative experimental methods, this work can form more reliable, useful and strong association rules i. e. dominating patterns of amino acid of complex protein misfolded diseases. Thus, in addition to usual applications, the identified patterns can be more useful in discovering medicines for protein misfolded diseases and thereby may open up new opportunities in medical science to handle genetic disorder diseases.

This article examines the story of the Prophet Musa and the Prophet Khidir which are contained in Qs. Al-Kahfi 60-82. It is commonly known that the story tells of the mystical and suprarational events experienced by Prophet Musa while studying from Prophet Khidir. However, in this article, the study of the story of the Prophet Musa and Khidir becomes more interesting because - by using a descriptive-analytical approach - the writer tries to uncover the story through Ibn 'Arabi's perspective as stated in his commentary; Tafsi>r Ibn 'Arabi. As we know that the interpretation of Ibn 'Arabi by Husain al-Zahabi is categorized as a Sufi nadzari interpretation, which is an interpretation that is built to strengthen and promote philosophical and mystical theories adhered to by the commentators. As a result, Ibn 'Arabi's interpretation of the story is very different from the existing mainstream interpretation. In that sense, Ibn 'Arabi brought his interpretation of the story into the Sufistic-philosophical discourse. Because, in this story Ibn 'Arabi does not interpret it as a human journey physically (wadak) but is interpreted symbolically-allegorically, namely a spiritual journey, in which case the Prophet Musa is interpreted as a heart that wants to reach maqa> m kamal or makrifat to Allah through the guidance of the Prophet Khidir which is interpreted as a holy reason (al-'aql al-qudsi>)., Artikel ini mendedah kisah Nabi Musa dan Nabi Khidir yang termaktub dalam Qs.Al-Kahfi 60-82. Lazim diketahui bahwa kisah tersebut menceritakan persistiwa-peristiwa yang bersifat mistis dan suprarasional yang dialami oleh Nabi Musa ketika berguru kepada Nabi Khidir. Namun dalam artikel ini, kajian tentang kisah Nabi Musa dan Khidir menjadi lebih menarik karena -dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitis- penulis mencoba menguak kisah tersebut melalui perepsektif Ibnu ‘Arabi yang tertuang dalam kitab tafsirnya; Tafsir Ibn ‘Arabi. Sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa tafsir Ibn ‘Arabi tersebut oleh Husain al-Zahabi dikategorikan sebagai tafsir sufi naz}ari, yaitu tafsir yang dibangun untuk memperkuat dan mempromosikan teori-teori filsafat dan mistik yang dianut oleh mufasir. Walhasil, penafsiran Ibn ‘Arabi terkait kisah tersebut berbeda jauh dengan mainstream tafsir yang sudah ada. Dalam artian, Ibn ‘Arabi membawa penafsirannya atas kisah tersbeut masuk kedalam diskursus sufistik-filosofis. Sebab, dalam kisah tersebut Ibn ‘Arabi tidak menafsirkannya sebagai perjalanan manusia secara jasmaniah (wadak) akan tetapi ditafsirkan secara simbolis-alegoris, yakni sebuah perjalanan ruhaniah, yang dalam hal ini Nabi Musa ditafsirkan sebagai kalbu (hati) yang ingin mencapai maqam kamal atau makrifat kepada Allah melalui bimbingan Nabi Khidir yang ditafsirkan sebagai akal suci (al-‘aql al-qudsi).

Indonesia does not guarantee legitimately English as a second language. However, numerous Indonesian schools officially teach English, including pesantren (Mawardi, Maulidiansyah, Kamal, Nasai, 2019). Historically, the pesantren is an Islamic educational institution that teaches students through classical Islamic books (Fadhilah, 2011). Now, pesantren has been teaching modern lessons, including foreign languages such as English (Tahir, 2015). This study was designed to investigate the pesantren's readiness for English programs. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Participants are people who are closely related to the object of research. A total of two English language coordinators were interviewed to obtain data on the pesantren's readiness for the English programs. The researchers also did observation and documentation to obtain supporting data from the research objects. The findings reveal that the pesantren's readiness for English language programs is outstanding in terms of the kinds of English programs, teachers' contributions, supporting facilities, and the pesantren environment itself. These findings are in line with previous researchers' findings, such as Insan (2019), Yulistiya (2020), and Setiawati (2018), stating that there are excellent programs for the advancement of students a foreign language.

Most of the generation (Arabic linguistic academics) have not comprehended the linguistic theories which initiated by Al-Jahid. This study aims to research on the concept of communication with the signs in Al-Jahid works. To identify these problems in depth and thoroughly, qualitative descriptive study was used. The primary data sources of this research were various sources, mainly Al Jahid book with documentation from the works of Al-Jahid and observation techniques based on the other books about Jahid ‘s point of view, such as Kamal Bisyri and other linguists. The results of this study concluded that: Al-Jahiz is an Arabic language expert who discussed the theory of non-verbal communication. In the case of learning a language, we also have to comprehend the theory of communication, especially communication with signs by Al-Jahiz. His thoughts were followed by several contemporary scholars. Thus, it is highly recommended to the Arabic researchesr to figure out the works of previous Arabic scholars which had been discussing about contemporary linguistic.

In this article, based on mutual appropriation of concepts from cultural-historical activity theory (especially Andy Blunden’s works) and Iranian Marxist tradition (especially Kamal Khosravi’s ideas), I have elaborated two crises which, we believe, are main characteristics of our historical stage and other crises are manifestations of them: (a) crisis of historical perspective on human self-emancipation and (b) crisis of theory in emancipatory social science. Crisis of historical perspective indicates lack of integrated worldview and concept about emancipated future, while crisis of theory addresses the fundamental problem of theoretical categories in expressing relations between elements and factors of reality. Categories of mode of existence (Marx, Khosravi) and mode of collaboration (Blunden) are proposed in order to solve these crises. Based on the mutual appropriation of mode of existence and mode of collaboration, I have tried to formulate three modes of existence of projects (class-project, project, and life-project) which can explain the totality of a social reality. These crises and proposed categories have been elaborated in this article, in critical dialogue with some theoretical frameworks like feminist account of intersectionality and German-Scandinavian Critical Psychology’s main concept: conduct of everyday life.

In the academic world of Indian Sociology, the deeply philosophical orientation of A. K. Saran’s approach, together with the masterly approaches developed by Radha Kamal Mukerjee and D. P. Mukerjee, each in his own distinct way came to be known as the trait of the Lucknow School, which made the great contribution of making traditional values not as the object of the study but as the frame of reference for sociological study and analysis. Saran, in this academic endeavour, appears to be influenced by the great philosophers like Rene Guenon, A. K. Coomaraswamy, Frithjof Schuon, Micro Pallis and Titus Burckhardt. These philosophers, though concerned with the crises of modern civilisation, were primarily remained engaged in the enunciation and interpretation of the traditional doctrines at the abstract doctrinal level. But Saran as a professional sociologist remained busy throughout his life in expounding and examining theories and ideologies, problems and problematic, conflicts and contradictions and norms, values and institutions of modern societies and welfarism. Saran took on the negative side of the task, that is, the critique of modernity as his vocation, whose unique logic-dialectical-philosophical method became his trademark. Through this article, I take an opportunity to make today’s academic world familiar with some of the significant contributions of Saran.

The problem in this study is how the influence of parental assistance on children's independence and responsibility while learning from home is seen from parental assistance at RA Al-Amien Kamal Bangkalan. This study aims to describe the effect of parental assistance on children's independence and responsibility while learning from home. Our research is using quantitative research. The population of this research is the parents of B3 grade children at RA Al - Amien. Learning in kindergarten or RA schools in this study uses online learning with the guidance of parents and teachers at school. Students do online learning and interact with teachers using the Whatsapp Group application. This study aims to determine the effect of parental assistance on children's independence and responsibility while learning from home. Respondents taken were parents of students in the Perumnas Kamal Bangkalan area. The results showed that parental assistance greatly influences the independence and responsibility of children while learning from home.

Reclamation in Kamal Muara North Jakarta changes the surrounding fishery activities. It is estimated that there are changes in the ecological and economic conditions of fishermen. This study aims to analyze the ecological and economic changes that occur in Sero fishermen in Kamal Muara after the reclamation of artificial islands. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a questionnaire, observation, interview, and documentation methods. The results showed that after reclamation, the fishing ground of Sero fishermen moved along the Dadap coast, Tangerang with a distance of less than one nautical mile from the coastline. In addition to fishing ground changes, the results of the paired sample t-test on the catches volume and profit of Sero fishermen showed significant changes after the reclamation of the artificial island. However, operational costs did not show any significant changes between before and after reclamation. This study concludes that there are changes in the ecological and economic conditions of Sero fishermen in Kamal Muara after the reclamation.

The article is dedicated to the brief biography of Jamal Kamal, the great poet of Uzbekistan, skilled translator and publicist, a public man, a literary critic, and the candidate of philological sciences. Along with his creative activity, the author translated the finest pieces of world literature into the Uzbek language. It is also an ancient tradition to translate samples of Persian literature into Turkic or, conversely, Turkic works of art into Persian. Taking into account all above said, Jamal Kamal was one of the first in Uzbekistan to translate the work of Jaloliddin Rumi “Masnaviy Manaviy” into Uzbek. In order to confirm our opinion, the original Uzbek translations have been studied comparatively.

Muhammad Iqbal and Mohd. Kamal Hassan respectively wrote “To the Holy Prophet” and “SMS to Sir Muhammad Iqbal” in the 1930s and in the 2000s – two extremely challenging times, as in the former most Muslim‐majority countries were under European colonial rule and in the latter, Western global powers wove an all‐pervasive web of domination and exploitation of them. They focus on the internal weaknesses of subjugated Muslims and lament that, since the attitude of many of them is characterized by inaction and reliance on others, domination by foreign powers became an inevitable corollary. A culture of self‐indulgence, stagnation, and complacency precipitated their decline and facilitated their exploitation by powerful outside interests. In their pursuit to understand the reasons for Western domination over Muslim societies, they studied the “moral paralysis” of colonized Muslims in order to reform them. Accordingly, their analysis of the subordinate position of Muslim peoples and countries can clearly be viewed through the lens of Bennabi’s notion of “colonizability,” as Iqbal’s and Hassan’s complaints in the poems mostly involve exposing several of their weaknesses that prevented them from playing their actual role, and hindered them from realising their potential, in the world.

This article maps the works of Indonesian female music composer and pianist, Trisutji Kamal, whose career spanned 7 decades. The composer who died in March 2021, was celebrated for the Islamic element of her works. Using the whole oeuvre of her music, personal interviews and historical research, this article argues that the religious element comprises only one period out of the four periods identified in her long career. The article contends that Kamal’s musical style was shaped by European music but tuned into Javanese nuances in its harmony, timbre and dynamic, creating a sense of embellished dissonance. We conclude that this style was brought about by Kamal’s effort in integrating the East and the West, musically as well as culturally. In the middle of the 20th century, Islamic writers and intellectuals in the Middle East and particularly in Egypt were actively engaged in the call for Islamic literature. Several Arabic books, including major works of Sayyed Qutub, Muhammad Qutub, and Naguib Kilani, were written on the subject and immediately rendered into Malaysian and Indonesian languages. Among all these writings, Muhammad Qutub’s book “Manhaj El-Fan El-Islami” has had tremendous impact on modern Malay writers such as, Ahmad Kamal Abdullah, Shahnon Ahmad, Muhammad Kamal Hassan, Ismail Ibrahim, Muhammad Bukhari Lubis, and others who produced several theories of Islamic literature. In this paper, a new theory of Islamic literature is proposed which is based on the concept of Al-‘Alamiah (Universality).In the first part of the paper, existing theories are reviewed whereas in the final part, a number of issues are discussed such as the concept of Islamic literature, its message, and seven basic features that distinguish Islamic literature from other world literatures.

Kamal Hassan, fondly known as Prof. Kamal is a symbolic academician in a well-versed personality of virtue, adab (good manners), and hikmah (wisdom). He has been accredited as one of the intellectual leaders of Madarasah al-Wasatiyah or movement of moderation and ideologue of Islamization of knowledge in the contemporary Malay world. He is also one of the leading figures in the area of contemporary Islamic thought and Malay civilization. His literature is vocal on the issue of Islam and modernity, Wasatiyah or Islamic moderation, Islamicization of human knowledge, Integrated Islamic education, secularism and secular education, the relationship between East and West, human rights and civil society. His metaphysical views have been often quoted in the literature of Muslim intellectuals and activists in Southeast Asia. Moreover, his philosophical thought of a justly balanced approach of Wasatiyah is also worth mention. The noteworthy highlights in his literature and speech promote Muslim leaders and scholars to examine: what collective moral responsibility they have, as a moderate nation or Ummah Wasat, to build a better world and a better nation—Khaira Ummah. There were many reasons for the intellectual decline of Muslims and the Muslim world. One of the reasons by moving away from the moderate and comprehensive understanding of the Qur’an. There is undoubtedly an urgent need to retract the philosophy of Ummah Wasat based on divine knowledge rooted in humanistic and societal life. Hence, Kamal Hassan fetched the thoughts in his lectures, articles, and books to relevantize the philosophy of moderation in Islam. Vocabulary is one element of language that must be mastered by learners in mastering a particular language including Arabic. Learning Arabic vocabulary requires its own strategies so that the learning will not be boring, one of them is a card games. This study aims to develop Arabic vocabulary learning media in the form of cards named "kamal" as well as to determine their effectiveness. The research design uses Research and Devolopment (R n D) method. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the kamal card was effectively used as an alternative to the Arabic vocabulary learning media seen from the differences in Student's pre-test and post-test scores. The results of the t-test are obtained t ^ (count)> t ^ table. In the Class "B" series 1 and series 2 t ^ (count) it is 5.390 and 6.890, while the class "D" series 1 and series 2 t ^ (count) are 9.335 and 9.054 with coefficients (dk = 6) then t ^ table between the two classes are the same (2,466). This article aims at describing the process of teachers' professional development based on Islamic boarding school culture including pattern of interaction in teacher training, approaches to teacher development, stakeholder involvement in teacher training, supervision and evaluation of the implementation of teacher training based on Islamic boarding schools. This research was conducted employing comparative inductive data analysis, multi-site design, and qualitative approach. This research found there are five interaction patterns used for development namely: interaction pattern of once-in-a-month regular recitation, the interaction pattern of imtikhan, interaction pattern of congregational prayers, interaction pattern of get-together (silahturahmi), interaction pattern of once-in-a-month regular meetings. And Secondly, it is about the four approaches in professional development namely: In-Group approach, individual approach, seniority approach, and Islamic boarding school bureaucracy approach. And Thirdly, the stakeholder involvement in the coaching namely: Social figure (the head of the village), school committee, UTM (Universitas Truno Joyo) Bangkalan lecturers, the headmaster of Junior High School 2 Kamal, school supervisors. Fourth, supervision and evaluation namely: the administers of supervisor and evaluation are the chairman of the foundation, headmaster, vice principal, Islamic boarding school coach, school supervisor, five senior teachers and school committee.

A superior person is a human condition as an individual who has better qualities than others. With a superior personality possessed, someone's life will look better than others in terms of their personality and are respected by many others. One form of this superior person is noble character, noble character is a good action (behavior / trait) that has been deeply embedded in one's soul so that it makes his personality good too. This study aims to find out the superior personal forms, services used by the Counseling Guidance teacher, and the time used by the Counseling Guidance teacher in shaping the personality of the students. This type of research is qualitative research using observation instruments, in-depth interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the role of the counselor proved to be able to form the superior personality of MTs Al Kamal Tarub students. Counseling activities conducted by Guidance Counseling teachers at MTs Al Kamal Tarub have had a good impact, this can be seen from the students' personalities at MTs Al Kamal Tarub Tegal.

The history of formation of Ganja-Karabakh Province of Safavid Empire is shown and the role of the tribal unions of Qajar in this process is examined. The article shows the activities of Qajars political leaders of that time - Kamal ad-Din Khan and Imamkuli Khan, their participation in the hostilities that led the rulers of the Safavid Empire in the South Caucasus, as well as participation of the Qajars in the hostilities of the Ottoman-Safavid war of the 16 th century. Based on the analysis of historical sources, it is shown that it was the Qajar leaders who played a leading role in the spread and preservation of Safavid power in the territories of the South Caucasus, including the lands of Shirvan and Georgian States. It is shown that under the influence of the Qajars there were territories located at the junction of the borders of modern Georgia and Azerbaijan - Shamshadil, Borchalu and Kazakh possessions, control over which was essential for the entire communication system of the South Caucasus. The paper also examines in detail the origin and early history of Ziyad-oglu Qacarlar - a dynastic branch whose descendants ruled the Karabakh Khanate from the middle of the 18 th century until the region’s accession to the Russian Empire.

In this paper, we applied a new method for solving nonlinear wave-like equation with variable coefficients , when the exact solution has a closed form. This method is Kamal Adomian De-composition Method (KADM). The Kamal decomposition method is a combined form of the Kamal transform method and the Adomian decomposition method [1,2,3]. The nonlinear term can easily be handled with the help of Adomian polynomials which is considered to be a significant advantage of this technique over the other methods. The results reveal that the Kamal decomposition method is very efficient, simple and can be applied to other nonlinear problems.
