Staszica 4/6 20-091 Lublin marta.kowalska@umlub.pl Streszczenie Alfabetyzm zdrowotny to nadal mało znane zagadnienie w Polsce. Jest to pojęcie bardzo złożone, ponieważ obejmuje wszelkie umiejętności, kompetencje, wiedzę, sposoby pozyskiwania informacji w szeroko rozumianym obszarze zdrowia. Nie mnie jednak alfabetyzym zdrowotny jest jednym z kluczowych elementów promocji zdrowia. Diagnoza poziomu alfabetyzmu zdrowotnego danej populacji wydaje się warunkiem niezbędnym do prowadzenia skutecznych działań z zakresu edukacji zdrowotnej i profilaktyki. Słowa kluczowe: alfabetyzm zdrowotny, promocja zdrowia, wychowanie zdrowotne Abstract Health literacy is still a little known issue in Poland. It is a very complex concept, because it covers all the skills, competences, knowledge, and ways of acquiring information in the broadly understood area of health. But the health literacy is not one of the key elements of health promotion. Diagnosis of the health literacy level of a given population seems a prerequisite for effective health education and prevention activities.

Wirus ten wykazuje powinowactwo do komórek wątroby, może powodować zarówno ostre jak i przewlekłe infekcje wirusowe o różnym nasileniu. Cel pracy Celem pracy była analiza występowania wirusowego zapalenia wątroby typu B w Polsce w latach 2010-2014. Materiał i metody Materiałem analizowanym w pracy były przypadki wirusowego zapalenia wątroby typu B zarejestrowane w Polsce w latach 2010-2014 z uwzględnieniem płci, wieku i miejsca zamieszkania zakażonych, publikowane w formie biuletynów rocznych „Choroby zakaźne i zatrucia w Polsce” przez Narodowy Instytut Zdrowia Publicznego-Państwowy Zakład Higieny w Warszawie (NIZP-PZH). Wyniki W badanym okresie zanotowano wzrost liczby przypadków wirusowego zapalenia wątroby typu B w Polsce. Najwięcej przypadków notuje się w grupie wieku powyżej 40 lat. Introduction Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a liver disease caused by hepatitis B - hepatitis B virus (HBV). This virus has an affinity to liver cells, cause both acute and chronic viral infections of varying severity. Aim The aim of this study was to analysis of incidence of hepatitis B in Poland in 2010-2014. Material and methods The material analyzed in the work were cases of hepatitis B registered in Poland in 2010-2014, taking into account gender, age and place of residence infected published in the form of annual bulletins "Infectious diseases and poisoning in Poland by the National Institutes of Health in Warsaw (NIH). Results In the analyzed period there was an increase in the number of cases of hepatitis B in Poland. Most cases are recorded in the age group above 40 years.

Ulegają one ewolucji przede wszystkim w konsekwencji rozwoju nauki i rozszerzania podejść do otaczającej rzeczywistości. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie ewolucji pojęcia zdrowia oraz teorii uwarunkowań stanu zdrowia formułowanych na przestrzeni wieków. Wielość definicji ukazuje ewolucję jako proces kształtujący rozumienie zdrowia, a co za tym idzie działań podejmowanych na rzecz jego ochrony. Przyjęta koncepcja i specyfika zidentyfikowanych grup czynników wpływa na cele i przyjmowane strategie umacniania potencjału zdrowotnego ludności. W pracy szczegółowo omówiono biomedyczny, psychosocjomedyczny i socjologiczny paradygmat zdrowia. Przybliżono również koncepcję stylu życia jako efektywnej drogi w zapobieganiu występowania chorób, ich rozwoju i powikłań. Słowa kluczowe: koncepcja zdrowia, paradygmat zdrowia, determinanty zdrowia, styl życia. Abstract Over the years numerous concepts of health and its protection arose. They undergo evolution above all in consequence of science development and extending approaches of surrounding reality. An aim of the work is to present the evolution of health concept and theory of health determinants formulated over the centuries. The multitude of definition shows evolution as a process that shapes understanding the health, and consequently activities undertaken for the benefit of its protection. Adopted concept and specificity of identified groups of factors affects the objectives and adopted strategies to strengthen the health potential of population. The work in detail discusses biomedical, psychosociomedical and sociological paradigm of the health. Lifestyle concept as an effective way to prevent the occurrence of diseases, their development and complications were also described. Zur Zeit bezieht sich die Mehrheit von Studien auf die Persönlichkeitsbetrachtung; daher werden ausgewählte Konstrukte dieser Betrachtung im Folgenden kurz dargestellt. Oft müssen behinderte Menschen zusätzlich mit sich selber kämpfen. Es ist wahrscheinlich, dass ausgewählte Persönlichkeitsmerkmale dies beeinflussen. Ziel der vorliegenden Studie ist die Einschätzung der Gewichtung von Persönlichkeitsmerkmalen im Sinne des Fünf-Faktoren-Persönlichkeitsinventars bei behinderten Sportlern. Die Überprüfung wurde durch einen Vergleich (Normstichprobe) von gesunden und behinderten Sportlern durchgeführt. An der Studie beteiligten sich insgesamt 16 Sportler mit einseitigen Amputationen von Extremitäten. Zum Einsatz kam ein Fragebogen Fünf-Faktoren-Modell. Die Studie wurde im März 2015 durchgeführt. Today, most research in sport refers to the trait approach to personality. Hence, in the first place, selected constructs in this field will be briefly characterized. It is often the case that people with disabilities have to fight with themselves. Perhaps, selected personality traits might be of an influence. The aim of this study was to compare the level of personality traits of athletes with disabilities with the average value in the normative group. The study was conducted on a group of 16 players representing the team of unilateral amputee footballers. The study was conducted using a personality questionnaire NEO-FFI in the month of March 2015. Streszczenie W ostatnich latach natężenie chorób nowotworowych zwiększyło się szczególnie. Rak piersi stanowi obecnie jeden z największych problemów epidemiologicznych. Ze względu na fakt, że rak piersi tak często prowadzi do zgonu, należałoby włożyć więcej wysiłku we wczesne wykrywanie. Bezwzględnie rak piersi wymaga skutecznych działań w zakresie profilaktyki oraz edukacji społeczeństwa. Celem pracy było przedstawianie epidemiologii oraz metod profilaktyki raka piersi. Abstract In recent years, the intensity of cancers particularly increased. Breast cancer is one of the greatest epidemiological problem at present. Due to the fact that breast cancer so often leads to death that should be more efforts in the early detection. Absolutely breast cancer requires effective actions in the prevention and education of the society in this respect. The aim of the study was to present the epidemiology and methods of breast cancer prophylaxis.

Cel pracy Celem pracy była analiza zachowania zdrowotnego jakim jest poddawanie się badaniom profilaktycznym przed i po wykryciu choroby osób z wirusowym zapaleniem wątroby typu C. Materiał i metody Materiałem wykorzystanym do badań były odpowiedzi na pytania zamknięte zawarte w autorskim kwestionariuszu ankiety. W badaniu wzięło udział 200 osób z potwierdzonym zakażeniem HCV. Wyniki Przed wykryciem choroby badana grupa deklarowała, że poddawała się badaniom profilaktycznym sporadycznie, jedynie gdy zaistniały niepokojące objawy. Summary Introduction Hepatitis C is a major public health problems due to the long latency period of infection with HCV (hepatitis C virus). Aim The aim of the study was to analyze the behavior of health which is to submission to preventive tests before and after the detection of the disease people with hepatitis C. Material and methods Material used for the study were answers to closed questions included in the original questionnaire survey. The study involved 200 people with chronic hepatitis C. Results Before detection of of the disease studied group declared that they give up preventive testing occasionally, only when any worrying symptoms. Keywords: hepatitis C, prevention.

Materiał i metody Materiałem wykorzystanym do badań były odpowiedzi na pytania zamknięte zawarte w autorskim kwestionariuszu ankiety. W badaniu wzięło udział 200 osób z przewlekłym wirusowym zapaleniem wątroby typu C. Wyniki Większość badanych wskazuje kontakt z ochroną zdrowia jako prawdopodobne źródło zakażenia HCV. Osoby badane nie podejrzewały u siebie żadnej choroby wątroby, a wykrycie zakażenia u większości ankietowanych było przypadkowe – podczas wykonywania innych badań lekarskich. Aim The aim of the study was to investigate and analyze the circumstances of the diagnosis of HCV infection in patients with chronic hepatitis C, including in particular the way / situation detection of infection and the likely route of transmission of the virus. Material and methods Material used for the study were answers to closed questions included in the original questionnaire survey. The study involved 200 people with chronic hepatitis C. Results The majority of respondents indicate contact with health as the probable source of HCV infection. Subjects were not suspected at home of any disease of the liver, and the detection of infection in the majority of the respondents was accidental - during other medical tests.

Od tego czasu eksperci międzynarodowych Towarzystw Naukowych zaproponowali wiele definicji tego zespołu. Celem pracy jest omówienie historii badań nad zespołem metabolicznym, definicji zespołu metabolicznego i jego składowych oraz wpływu zmian w kryteriach rozpoznawania na jego rozpowszechnienie w populacji. Pierwsza definicja zespołu metabolicznego została zaproponowana przez Światową Organizację Zdrowia (WHO) w 1998r. W odpowiedzi na kryteria zaproponowane przez WHO w 1999 roku ukazały się kryteria opracowane przez Europejską Grupę Badań Insulinooporności (EGIR), które nie zawierały mikroalbuminurii, jako elementu składowego, natomiast jako główne kryterium rozpoznania również wyodrębniono insulinooporność. W 2001 r. w Trzecim Raporcie Narodowego Programu Edukacji Cholesterolowej na temat wykrywania, oceny i leczenia hipercholesterolemii u osób dorosłych (NCEP-ATP III) ukazały się kolejne kryteria, które różniły się brakiem konieczności posiadania insulinooporności do rozpoznania zespołu metabolicznego, a przez co stały się proste w użyciu w praktyce klinicznej. Następne kryteria zostały opracowane przez Międzynarodową Federację Diabetologiczną (IDF). W 2009 r. IDF w porozumieniu z Amerykańskim Towarzystwem Kardiologicznym (AHA) i amerykańskim Narodowym Instytutem Serca, Płuc i Krwi (NHLBI) zaproponowała ujednoliconą definicję zespołu dla potrzeb wczesnej identyfikacji osób z grupy ryzyka chorób sercowo-naczyniowych. Wyniki badań nad rozpowszechnieniem zespołu metabolicznego wykazują różnice w populacjach w zależności od przyjętej definicji tego zespołu. Obecnie szacując jego częstość w populacjach na różnych kontynentach badacze posługują się kilkoma definicjami zespołu metabolicznego, by sprawdzić która z nich ma największą wartość prognostyczną rozwoju chorób sercowo-naczyniowych. Summary Metabolic syndrome (MS) was first described in 1981. Since then experts from international scientific societies have suggested many definitions of this disorder. The aim of the current study is to present the history of the research concerning metabolic syndrome, its definition, components and influence on the changes in the identification criteria for its distribution in the population. The first definition of metabolic syndrome was proposed by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 1998. Following the criteria suggested by WHO in 1999, new ideas appeared, this time suggested by the European Group for the Study of Insulin Resistance (EGIR). They did not include microalbuminuria as one of its components, but indicated insulin resistance as a main criterion for the diagnosis of the syndrome. In 2001 the Third Report of the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) Expert Panel on Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Cholesterol in Adults (Adult Treatment Panel III, ATP III) presented another criterion, which differed in the lack of the need for insulin resistance in order to diagnose metabolic syndrome. Due to that fact they became far easier to use in clinical practice. The next criteria were devised by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). In 2009 IDF, in agreement with the American Heart Association (AHA), and the American National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), proposed a unified definition of the syndrome for the purposes of the early identification of patients belonging to the cardiovascular disease risk group. The results of the research on the prevalence of metabolic syndrome show differences in populations depending on the definition of this syndrome. At present, when estimating its frequency in various populations, the researchers are utilising several definitions of metabolic syndrome in order to check which of them possesses the highest predictive value of cardiovascular disease development.
