This study examined the impact of renewable energy adoption and organizational culture on employee productivity in Jordanian technology and IT companies, with workplace sustainability as a mediating factor. The research targeted employees in the Jordanian technology and IT sector, with a sample size of 454 participants. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey design was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results revealed significant positive relationships between renewable energy adoption, organizational culture, workplace sustainability, and employee productivity. Both renewable energy adoption and organizational culture demonstrated direct positive effects on employee productivity, as well as indirect effects through workplace sustainability. These findings have important implications for managers and policymakers, highlighting the potential for organizations to enhance employee productivity through sustainable practices and cultural initiatives. The study contributes to the literature by integrating concepts from Stakeholder Theory and Resource-Based View Theory to explain the complex relationships between sustainability initiatives and organizational outcomes in the context of Jordanian technology and IT companies.

This study investigates the relationship between business intelligence adoption (Business Intelligence (BI), Data Analysis and Reporting (DAR), Business Process Integration (BPI), and Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CII)) and marketing effectiveness in the Jordanian telecom industry. It specifically examines the mediating role of customer satisfaction in this relationship. A survey design method using the cross-sectional survey was utilized during the research process, involving quantification. The data was collected from 285 employees across the Jordanian telecom sector via electronic response forms. As the analysis's method, the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized. The results, which showed BI, DAR and CII to have a positive direct effect on marketing effectiveness, whilst BPI displayed a negative direct impact, were compelling. But clear signs of positive influence on CS by the four dimensions of BI (BI, DAR, BPI, and CII) have also been observed, and this result has been proved to be a mediator between them and business effectiveness. The above study is a source of invaluable learning for the managers of telecom companies in Jordan is a tool that managers in the Jordanian telecom industry will greatly benefit from in the sense that it brings out all the importance of integrating BI, DAR, BPI, and CII practices that emphasize high quality customer service. By properly utilizing these assets and up-to-the-market, companies can improve the effectiveness of marketing and the whole organizational efficiency. The study enhances the existing theory of the interrelationships between the adoption of business intelligence, customer satisfaction, and marketing power which can be viewed from both resource-based view (RBV) theory and expectation-based theory (EDT). It affirms an idea that the RBV was rooted in that when organizational assets are valuable, firms have a competitive advantage and better performance. Also, an EDT states that customer satisfaction increases if the expectations of customers are met. Innovation - The essay is innovative and takes an original angle to explore the multifaceted interconnectivity among business intelligence adoption, customer satisfaction, and marketing effectiveness in the framework of the Jordanian telecom industry. It highlights the steps to customer satisfaction problem solutions and the caution comes with process integration efforts, hence, helping to arrive at a full comprehension of the aspirations for organizational performance in the field.

This quantitative study investigates the relationships between Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Intelligence (BI), and Strategic Planning (SP) within Jordanian Public Listed Companies, with a focus on the mediating role of BI. The target population comprises employees from the 108 public shareholding companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange, totaling an estimated 1,080 senior managers involved in strategic planning. A random sample of 285 employees was surveyed to achieve a 95% confidence level with a 5% margin of error. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire with multi-item scales adapted from prior studies. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to test the conceptual framework and hypothesized relationships, utilizing the two-step SEM approach with AMOS software. The results reveal significant positive relationships among MIS, BI, and SP. Specifically, MIS exhibits a statistically significant positive effect on SP, supporting previous research indicating MIS provides comprehensive data for informed planning. Furthermore, MIS significantly influences BI capabilities, underscoring the importance of robust MIS infrastructure for advanced BI analytics. BI, in turn, positively impacts SP, aligning with literature suggesting BI tools enhance planning agility and effectiveness through data-driven insights. Bootstrapping analysis demonstrates that BI partially mediates the relationship between MIS and SP. While BI acted as a significant mediating variable, MIS had a significant direct impact on SP, implying that though MIS has a direct impact on SP, it has an indirect impact, through BI, as well. Further analysis revealed that the constructs are interconnected, and that the mediation of BI is a necessary part of the process in Jordanian Public Listed Companies. As such, acknowledging the relevance of MIS, BI, and SP and the mediating role of BI, organizations can adapt their decision-making to achieve sustained competitive advantage within the dynamic business environment in Jordan.

BACKGROUND: The business environment is getting unstable due to which execution of decision support systems has become significant to maintain competitive advantage. Small and medium enterprises in particular confront issues, such as insufficiency of devising strategic planning, strategic decision-making, and information exchange, as well as difficulty increasing performance. Because functional strategic management and decision-making are required, strategic information systems planning is employed to accumulate information and assist decision-makers in developing and implementing the best strategy for gaining superior performance. Executives in information systems focus on technical difficulties while ignoring decisions to support strategic plans. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this article is to investigate how strategic information systems planning contributes to increased performance in SMEs. METHODS: Data was gathered through questionnaires distributed to information system executives in SMEs, primarily in Jordan. The data was collected with the help of questionnaires adopted from prior studies. For Analysis after applying the diagnostic tests, structural equation modelling has been applied to test the framework developed based on the literature. RESULTS: A structural equation modeling (SEM) was conducted, the individual loadings of the SEM items are investigated, reliability and discriminant validity is tested, and path coefficients of hypothesized relationships of the developed model are tested. CONCLUSIONS: The findings suggested that managers should prioritize implementing strategic information systems planning so that they can gain superior performance with better agility in the future. In this research work, first-principles computational study is performed on the structural, elastic, thermal, magnetic, electronic, and thermoelectric properties of the ternary Heusler compound Co2MnGe in its cubic phase. For this purpose, the "full potential linearized augmented plane-wave FP-L(APW + lo)" approach realized in the WIEN2k code is employed. To determine total energy, the exchange–correlation energy/potential part is treated within the "Perdew–Burke–Ernzerhof (PBE)" parameterized approach of "generalized gradient approximation (GGA) and modified Becke–Johnson (mBJ)" schemes. The magnetic phase stability was predicted via quantum mechanically total energy calculations for both non-magnetic and magnetic phases. Our obtained results for total energy show that the title material is stable in the ferromagnetic phase. The analysis of the profile of density of states (DOS), band structure plots, and the calculations of spin magnetic moment endorse the semi-metallic nature of the title compound. Calculations of the elastic constants, Cij, and results of the elastic moduli, such as bulk modulus (B), shear modulus (G), Young modulus (E), Poisson ratio (ν), and ratio B/G, are reported and analyzed as well. Gibbs computational code based on the "quasi-harmonic Debye model" is used to explore thermal properties, whereas parameters to understand the thermoelectric behavior, BoltzTrap code based on Boltzmann theory for transport properties is applied. Besides that, the chemical potential effect on the Seebeck coefficient and power factor is also analyzed at temperatures 300, 600, and 900 K. The results of thermoelectric parameters of the title Heusler compound, for the spin-down channel, are found good; hence, the obtained results highlight the title compound as a potential candidate for thermoelectric devices. The present paper gives a numerical study of natural convection heat transfer inside the inclined wavy solar collectors containing nanofluid in Bechar region. Bechar is located in the southwest of Algeria and belongs to the semi-arid zone. The solar deposit of this city corresponds to an angle of inclination of α=37 .The collector has a wavy absorber and cover. The inclined corrugated walls are maintained at constant temperature but different values. The vertical walls are assumed to be adiabatic. The nanofluid used is Al2O3-water. This problem consists in solving the system of equations containing: mass conservation, Navier Stokes and energy with adapted simplified hypotheses. Transport equations are solved numerically by finite element method. Governing parameters are taken as Rayleigh number (from 105 to 4x106), volume fraction (from 0 to 10%), amplitude of wavy cover (from 0 to 0.2) and wave of number (from 1.5 to 3.5). The first principles calculations of structural and magnetic properties of the Heusler material Mn2NiAl, have been studied using a full potential linearized augmented plane wave (FP-LAPW) within the density-functional theory (DFT). The phase stability of the cubic austenitic (L21) structure for Mn2NiAl in both Cu2MnAl (Fm3 m space group) and Hg2CuTi (F43 m space group) type of structures with ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic states, has been treated by applying the generalized gradient approximation proposed by Wu and Cohen (WC-GGA) alongside with the martensitic structure of Mn2NiAl. The analysis of phase stability, cohesive energy and the calculated formation enthalpy of Mn2NiAl reveal that the ferromagnetic MnMnNiAl is the most stable type of structure. Moreover, the calculated lattice parameters are found to be in good agreement with theoretical data. The variation of total magnetic moments MT(μB), MMn (μB), MNi (μB) and MAl (μB) in Mn2NiAl with pressure at varying temperature (0, 273 and 344 K), have been calculated. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Improving the photovoltaic conversion efficiency requires a good choice for the structure of the cell. The front surfaces of the thin-film cell could improve these performances. In our work we have studied thin-film GaAs cells with thin ternary InGaP and AlGaAs layers used as a window. The one dimensional program SCAPS 1D has been used to study and optimize the performance of the GaAs cells in particular the window layer effect (the thickness and doping) and to compare between the two cells with In0.5Ga0.5P and Al0.2Ga0.8As window layers. The results have shown that the In0.5Ga0.5P layer window epitaxially grown on GaAs solar cell have the best performance compared with the Al0.2Ga0.8As layer window. The optimum thickness of the window is 0.1µm, and the maximum efficiency is about 25.02%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
