Background: Heart attack, as a threatening event, affects patients' mental health, thus causing symptoms of anxiety and depression. The current research was conducted with the aim to evaluate the relationship between different psychological coping strategies, and anxiety and depression levels in heart attack patients. Methods: The current research was a cross-sectional study. In 2021, 237 heart attack patients were referred to Ibn Al-Bitar Specialized Hospital for Cardiac Surgery, Al Budoor Hospital, and Saint Raphael (Al Rahibat) Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq. A simple random sampling method was used to select a statistical sample of 114 patients. The Pearson correlation coefficient method was utilized. The collected data were analyzed in SPSS software. The statistical findings were considered significant at the 0.05 level. Results: There was a significant negative correlation between anxiety and self-reliant (r = -0.538; P < 0.01), optimistic (r = -0.483; P < 0.01), supporting (r = -0.467; P < 0.01), and confronting (r = -0.391; P < 0.05) coping strategies. In addition, there was a significant negative correlation between depression and self-reliant (r = -0.342; P < 0.01), confronting (r = -0.317; P < 0.01), supporting (r = -0.292; P < 0.01), and optimistic (r = -0.209; P < 0.05) coping strategies. Moreover, the results indicated a significant positive correlation between the fatalistic coping strategy and the anxiety (r = 0.429; P < 0.01) and depression (r = 0.214; P < 0.05) variables. Conclusion: Coping strategies are one of the main methods of improving life expectancy and well-being, and are essential in positive disease adaptation and reducing anxiety and depression levels in heart attack patients. Background: Myocardial infarction (Ml) is a condition characterized by the death of heart muscle cells due to a lack of oxygen, frequently resulting in death. Disease and health-related beliefs may play a function in the progression of Ml. The current study aimed to examine the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on psychological flexibility of patients with Ml. Methods: The current research was semi-experimental research with a control group. The statistical population included all patients with Ml referred to Nasiriyah Heart Center, Nasiriyah, Iraq, in 2021 and 2022 (n = 473). In the current study, 90 individuals were selected by simple random sampling and divided evenly between intervention and control groups. The Cognitive Flexibility Inventory (CFI) was utilized for data collecting. Utilizing SPSS software, the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) method was performed. The statistical significance level was considered to be 0.05. Results: Acceptance and commitment therapy was effective in psychological flexibility (F = 116.17, P < 0.001) in patients with Ml. Besides, the results of a one-way ANCOVA indicated that the subscales, including avoidance (F = 8.27, P < 0.001), acceptance (F = 13.86, P < 0.001), and harnessing (F = 6.14, P < 0.001), improved significantly. Conclusion: Acceptance and commitment therapy has increased the psychological flexibility of patients with Ml and is effective non-pharmaceutical therapy for the psychological management of these patients. A substantial amount of scholarly inquiry has focused on the advancement of innovative methodologies for drug administration. In this research, both graphyne (GY) and BN-analog GY (BNY) nanosheets are presented. The study focuses on the carbon allotrope GY. Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations were used to assess how GY, BNY, and the anticancer drug ciclopirox (CPX) interact with one another. It was observed that the inherent capability of pristine GY to augment CPX adsorption is intensified by the involvement of nitrogen (N) and boron (B) atoms. Furthermore, examination using Ultraviolet–Visible (UV-Vis) analysis exhibited a shift towards less energetic states, corresponding to longer wavelengths. Moreover, the interaction between CPX and BNY displayed chemical reactivity, rendering it conducive for forming bonds at the adsorption site. Additionally, a thorough investigation via the Atoms-In-Molecules (AIM) analysis furnished a more profound comprehension of the associations between the drug and the nanosheet. Notably robust connections between CPX and BNY were detected. As a consequence, the potential of BNY to function as a viable transporter for CPX in the realm of drug delivery was substantiated. Here, the potential of Si76, C76, Al38N38, V-Si76, V-C76 and V-Al38N38 nanocages to transfer the Mechlorethamine are examined by computational methods. Results shown that the water as polar solvent is increased the adsorption energy and enthalpy of Mechlorethamine on Si76, C76, Al38N38, V-Si76, V-C76 and V-Al38N38 nanocages ca 0.12 eV to 0.23 eV. Results shown that the HOMO of Mechlorethamine-nanocage complex is located on Mechlorethamine and LUMO of Mechlorethamine-nanocage complex is located on nanocages. The calculated ΔGadsorption of anticancer drug on Si76, C76, Al38N38, V-Si76, V-C76, V-Al38N38 are -3.06, -2.85, -2.97, -3.75, -3.53 and -3.61 eV. The V-Al38N38 and V-Si76 have higher Eadsorption to transfer the Mechlorethamine than C76 ca 0.17 eV to 0.21 eV. The recovery time (τ) values of complexes of V-Si76, V-C76, V-Al38N38 with anticancer drug are higher than Si76, C76 and Al38N38 ca 3.12 s to 5.49 s. Utilizing mathematical modeling of drug release is one method for accelerating the rate of drug diffusion and penetration in hydrogel-based systems. This method facilitates a greater comprehension of drug control mechanisms and their release. Hydrogels are expanding biomaterials that necessitate regulation for use in drug release. The current study's objective is to model drug release in swelling hydrogels containing combinations of chitosan and gelatin polymers; with the aid of this simulation, the release time and concentration of the drug can be predicted. This modeling examined changes in the concentration of drugs in various hydrogels. For this simulation, the governing equations of the drug release system in Python and the numerical solution method were utilized to determine the drug release mechanism in the hydrogel. Then, the graphs of the changes in drug concentration in each hydrogel were examined to evaluate the performance of hydrogels in drug release. Observations revealed that the swelling rate of the hydrogel increases as the concentration of chitosan relative to gelatin in the hydrogel composition rises and that the drug release rate in hydrogels with more significant swelling was also accelerated. Compared to Cs-Gel (1:4) hydrogel, the drug release time in Cs-Gel (4:1), Cs-Gel (3:2), Cs-Gel (2.5:2.5) and Cs-Gel (2:3) hydrogels decreased by 52, 44, 37, and 18%, respectively. In hydrogels with a high swelling rate, the drug concentration decreased rapidly, whereas in hydrogels with a low swelling rate, the duration of drug release increased. Composting is one of the urban waste management techniques that aims to lessen the amount and weight of trash that needs to be removed, as well as the spread of flue and fat, resource recycling, and disposal costs. Composting facilities must have an environmental impact assessment (EIA) strategy in place in order to adhere to environmental laws and regulations within the context of the adaption of an environmental development plan. The environmental evaluation of the Baghdad composting plant was therefore utilized Leopold's modified matrix and checklist methodologies. At the outset of this study, the local ecosystem was examined. The effects of constructing the Baghdad compost plant on the environmental components were examined by dividing the construction and operation phases and selecting evaluation alternatives based on the properties and types of pollutants anticipated for the aforementioned facility. The three immediate, direct, and indirect effects, and the three-time intervals--short, medium, and long term--were all examined in this study. In this study, the Leopold matrix was expanded into a four-part matrix and evaluated separately from the importance and range of impacts in addition to taking into account how long the effects will last in the environment. The findings and accomplishments of this study have been examined and given in two options: project implementation without environmental considerations and project implementation with the use of techniques to lessen negative effects by separating the construction from the operational phases. The project's implementation was deemed unacceptable based on the predicted effects of the non-implementation option (-303). Diabetes mellitus become the big health problem in the world that increased in high percentages in last decade, the DM medications types are important to maintain the normal levels of glycemic parameters, in present study the association between types of DM medication types with oxidative stress represented by ROS and TAO were conducted. The results show non-significant differences observed in all glycemic parameters in addition to ROS and TAO, the present finding concluded that the DM medication should be Multi-Directional Therapy applied for oxidative stress controlling in DM type 2. The vitamin D3 (25-hydroxy vitamin D3) has been found that it have main role in cellular functions and its found in lower level in different disease, the present study suggested to study the relation between HbA1c with VD3 level in diabetes mellitus patients, the results show that there was significant elevation (P 0.000) in HbA1c% in patients with significant decreased in VD3 level (P 0.000), the gender didn’t effect in study parameters and the correlation show significant invers of VD3 with HbA1c in control (r – 0.375, P 0.041) and non-sig weak invers relation in patients group (r -0.199, P 0.302). the present study shows strong linked between VD3 and Glycosylated Hemoglobin in DM disease. The mitochondrial DNA sequences have been studied for different applications, like in forensic field, which is still an interesting project, the lack of recombination, high copy number, maternal inheritance and the full genome sequencing made it an important in forensic analysis, the present study aims to estimate the high variability of D-loop sequences to discriminate human among different remains, Homo sapiens, Bos taurus, Ovis aries, Canis lupus, Equus caballus and Felis catus mitochondrion genomes were used for evaluating the sequences diversity using bioinformatics software’s, the results show that D-loop was high discrimination power (0.50) than other mitochondrial loci (0.21) with other different characteristics for human identifier from others remains, thus there are several benefits of D-loop in forensic applications.
