Peripheral nerve sheath tumors (PNSTs), while uncommon, can have a significant impact on appearance and quality of life, especially when they form in prominent areas such as the nose dorsum. We discuss a case of a 29‐year‐old woman who developed a benign PNST on the right side of her nasal ala. This tumor gradually grew, impairing her face appearance. Diagnostic tests, such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), revealed the tumor as a slowly growing, well‐defined mass. The tumor was removed via open rhinoplasty under general anesthesia, and pathological investigation verified its benign nature. After surgery, the patient's quality of life improved significantly, and there were no evidence of tumor recurrence after eight months. Introduction: Penetrating neck injuries caused by firearms are relatively common, but injuries caused by objects other than bullets are rare. However, they are life-threatening and are surgical emergencies. In this case report, we present a case of a penetrating neck injury caused by a gun screw. Case Report: A 46-year-old male presented to the emergency department with a penetrating neck injury from a gun screw. On physical examination, a 3x3 cm punctured wound was found on the right side of his neck, with no exit wound. Computed Tomography (CT) scan, and CT angiography revealed a curve-shaped metallic object lodged in the right side of his neck, with no evidence of vascular injury. The patient underwent an emergency surgical exploration under general anesthesia, and a 4.5 cm long, 0.5 cm wide gun screw was found in the right neck's soft tissue. The screw was carefully removed without complications, and the wound was irrigated and closed. After two days of hospitalization, the patient was discharged and had an uneventful recovery. Conclusion: Penetrating neck injuries caused by gun screws and other foreign objects can be challenging to manage and require prompt surgical intervention. Esophageal perforation is a rare but well-known complication of anterior cervical spine surgery. We present a case report of 36-year-old male presenting with gradual painful left neck swelling, tenderness, fever, rigor, and chills, four months after anterior cervical spine surgery. After doing necessary investigations the patient was operated for pus drainage and esophageal perforation was also noticed during the surgery that was repaired along with hard ware removal. Later on due to wound complications the patient was referred to another higher center, where he was re-operated. Introduction: Optic neuropathy refers to damage or impairment of the optic nerve, which can result in vision loss. Onodi cell mucocele is a rare condition that can lead to optic neuropathy and other health-threatening complications. Here we present a case of successfully treated unilateral optic neuropathy secondary to Onodi cell mucocele associated with chronic sinusitis. Case report: A 45-year-old woman presented with a 4-day history of right eye pain associated with decreased vision and photophobia with chronic nasal obstruction. Physical examination showed pain on downward extraocular muscle movement, vision acuity of 6/60 and 6/9, and right eye Relative Afferent Papillary Defect (RAPD). CT scan findings led to the diagnosis of right optic neuropathy secondary to Onodi air cell mucocele. Emergency endoscopic sinus surgery was successfully performed in the form of anterior and posterior ethmoidectomy and bilateral sphenoidotomy with drainage of Onodi cell mucocele to release pressure on the optic nerve. Conclusion: Overall, optic neuropathy from Onodi air cell mucocele is a rare but serious complication that requires prompt diagnosis and treatment to prevent permanent vision loss. This case report details the clinical and radiological presentation and management of Onodi cell mucocele and associated optic neuropathy, highlighting the need for healthcare providers to consider it, especially in patients with optic neuropathy and chronic sinusitis. Acquired tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) is a rare and severe complication of intubation and tracheostomy, which can lead to serious comorbidities and high mortality. In this case report, we present a case with TEF in addition to multiple systemic diseases and infections, the patient's clinical fetures, diagnosis, and management. This case highlights the importance of considering acquired TEF as a potential sequelle of prolonged intubation and the need for prompt detection and treatment to prevent potentially life-threatening complications, including death.
