Purpose: Telemedicine is a concept with a history of several decades, which means providing medical and therapeutic services remotely using information and communication technology. This issue requires the transfer and flow of medical and therapeutic knowledge from specialists to those in need, and in this context, the importance of knowledge logistics can be realized in order to identify the need and provide a solution in the telemedicine process. Therefore, the aim of the current research is to review the concepts of these two fields and identify their common points in order to identify the application of knowledge logistics in telemedicine. Methodology: The current research is of applied type and using Scientometric method. At First, a descriptive review of the available resources with related keywords such as logistics, knowledge logistics, medical knowledge logistics, telemedicine and knowledge logistics in telemedicine was done in Google, Google Scholar and Sid databases, and in the second part, to determine the relationship Between the two concepts, the terms knowledge logistics and telemedicine were searched in Scopus and PubMed databases on March 3, 2022, and the outputs of each database were discussed. Finding: The findings show that for nearly two decades and the upward trend of special resources in recent years, a major part of the United States has been in the production of resources, history and growth of resources related to two areas. Also, Anderson as the most prolific writer, the Journal of Internet Medical Research has a stronger relationship with BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making. Finally, there is an occurrence of the keywords of logistic models in the resources related to the field of telemedicine, and knowledge has an important place in the resources related to the field of telemedicine. Conclusion: The results showed that the position of knowledge and knowledge management in the field of telemedicine, considering its little history, but the exponential growth during these years is very impressive, and since knowledge logistics models are related to the resources of this field, therefore It can be considered a new and practical concept in this field. Nowadays, organizations must continually adapt to market and organizational changes to achieve their most important goals. Migration to business services and service-oriented architectures provides a valuable opportunity to attain the organization objectives. This migration causes evolution both in organizational structure and in technology-enabling businesses to dynamically change vendors and services. One of the forms of organizational structures is the form of networked organization. Technologies of business intelligence and Web intelligence effectively support business processes within the networked organizations. While business intelligence focuses on development of services for consumer needs recognition, information search, and evaluation of alternatives; Web intelligence addresses advancement of Web-empowered systems, services, and environments. The paper proposes a technological ontology-driven framework for configuration support as applied to networked organization. The framework integrates concepts of business intelligence and Web intelligence into a collaboration environment of a networked organization on the base of attainment of knowledge logistics purposes. This framework referred to as KSNet is based on the integration of software agent technology and Web services. Knowledge logistics functions of KSNet are complemented by technological functions of knowledge-gathering agents. The services of these agents are implemented with CAPNET, a FIPA compliant agent platform. CAPNET allows consuming services of agents in a service-oriented way. An efficient knowledge sharing between multiple participating parties is required to provide for situation awareness and consequently to manage any networked organization. Thereby, it is necessary that the right knowledge from distributed sources is integrated and transferred to the right person within the right context at the right time to the right purpose. The aggregate of these interrelated activities is referred to as knowledge logistics (KL). The paper presents an approach that implements KL for an intelligent decision support. The approach assumes an ontological knowledge representation model based on the paradigm of object-oriented constraint networks. This makes it possible to perform problem solving by directly extracting slices of the common ontology and putting them into constraint solvers such as ILOG. Organizations increasingly define many business processes as projects executed by "virtual (project) teams", where team members from within an organization cooperate with "outside" experts. Virtual teams require and enable people to collaborate across geographical distance and professional (organizational) boundaries and have a somewhat stable team configuration with roles and responsibilities assigned to team members. Different people, coming from different organizations will have their own preferences and experiences and cannot be expected to undergo a long learning cycle before participating in team activities. Thus, efficient communication, coordination, and process-aware collaboration remain a fundamental challenge. In this paper we discuss the current shortcomings of approaches in the light of virtual teamwork (mainly Workflow, Groupware, and Project Management) based on models and underlying metaphors. Furthermore, we present a novel approach for virtual teamwork by tightly integrating all associations between processes, artifacts, and resources. In this paper we analyze (a) the relevant criteria for process-aware collaboration system metaphors, (b) coordination models and constructs for organizational structures of virtual teams as well as for ad hoc and collaborative processes composed out of tasks, and (c) architectural considerations as well as design and implementation issues for an integrated process-aware collaboration system for virtual teams on the Internet.
