Helops punctatissimus Nabozhenko & Keskin, 2017 (Fig. 8) Material. 2♂, 2♀ (SMNS): Turkey, Bitlis Prov., Reşadiye, Van Lake, 1– 17.06.2007 (leg. C. Reuter); 4♂, 3♀ (ZDEU): Turkey, Bitlis Prov., Tatvan env., Küçüksu, 38°28ʹ05.91ʺN / 42°19ʹ21.68ʺE, 1770 m, 29.05.2021 (leg. B. Keskin, U. Çalışan, K. Yılmaz). Note. This species was described based on a single male specimen. The newly collected material enables us to supplement the initial description with data on females. Brief description of female. Measurements: Y—1.36; PH —1.67; P w P l —1.17; E l E w —1.65; EH w —3.65; EP w — 1.3; EP l —2.55. Body much more robust than in male, strongly convex. Head, legs and scutellar shield blue, prothorax dark violet, pterothorax and abdomen dark-blue. Antennae short, not reaching base of pronotum; antennomere 11 asymmetric, with oblique apex. Pronotum slightly transverse, widest little behind middle. Elytra widest behind middle. Pro- and metatibiae straight, mesotibiae slightly bent. Protarsomeres 1–4 very short, transverse, but not widened as in males. Distribution and bionomics. This species was described from the surroundings of Tatvan based on a single male specimen, which was collected under the trunk of old Juniperus excelsa. After a long search, H. punctatissimus was not found further on junipers, however, numerous specimens were registered in 2021 on Quercus cerris L. around Tatvan.

Odocnemis amanosica Nabozhenko & Keskin, 2016 Material. 1♂, 2♀ (ZDEU): Turkey, Hatay Prov., Çamlıyayla, 36°12ʹ49.59ʺN / 35°57ʹ27.54ʺE, 363 m, 6.04.2021 (leg. B. Keskin, M. & S. Nabozhenko). Distribution and bionomics. This species was known from the type locality in the south of Hatay Province and from North Syria (Latakia, Akra Mts.). It was previously found on Pinus nigra at 1480 m among parmelian lichens. We additionally found this species on Pinus brutia at 363 m. One of the host lichens is Cladonia fimbriata (L.) Fr. (Cladoniaceae Zenker) (Fig. 6B). This subspecies was known only by three type specimens from Püren Geçidi in Kahramanmaraş Province where they were collected on Cedrus libani A. Rich. In the north of Adana Province, we collected three specimens on trunks of Pinus nigra at night among parmelian fruticose lichens, but beetles didn’t feed and we didn’t register host lichen. Distribution and bionomics. This species is widely distributed in Antalya Province and is also known from Isparta Province (Nabozhenko & Keskin 2016). It was previously collected on Juniperus oxycedrus L. in Isparta Province and on J. excelsa K. Koch in Antalya Province (Bey Dağları). In 2021 we collected O. inornata on Pinus brutia (Taşkesiği), Quercus infectoria and on Pyrus sp. (Thermessos) (Fig. 7A). Beetles were active since 20:00 at the end of March. One of the host lichens (at least on Pyrus and Quercus) is Physconia venusta (Ach.) Poelt. (Physciaceae), but sometimes beetles can feed on Ramalina calicaris (L.) Fr. (Parmeliaceae) (Fig. 6A).

Distribution and bionomics. This very common species is widely distributed from Mediterranean Turkey to Israel (Nabozhenko 2020). Nemrut Dağ (Adıyaman, Turkey) is the most eastern known locality of C. hesperides. It occurs in natural and agricultural habitats in many landscapes. In 2021 this Catomus species was collected on Сeratonia siliqua L. and Pinus brutia in Mersin Province, on Cedrus libani in Kahramanmaraş Province, on Olea europaea L. in Adana Province (Fig. 7C), and on Quercus branti in Adıyaman Province. We registered Xanthoria sp. as one of the host lichens. The host lichen of the genus Xanthoria was registered for C. hesperides on Quercus infectoria in Cyprus by colleagues from the University of Cyprus, Konstantinos Ntatsopoulos, and Loudmila Jelinscaia Lagou (personal communication, 20 May 2021). Nalassus laevicoctostriatus (Goeze, 1777) This species was erroneously recorded for Anatolia by many authors including Nabozhenko (2020) after the work of Kaszab (1968), who recorded it for the former Yugoslavia in the paper on Turkish fauna. Kaszab put the name in brackets suggesting that the species can be potentially found in Turkey. The eastern border of the range of N. laevioctostriatus is the territory of Poland (Iwan et al. 2012). The subspecies H. glabriventris jelineki was described from Crete (Picka 1984). The nominotypical subspecies is widespread in Western Anatolia in İzmir, Muğla, Isparta, Konya, Antalya, and Mersin provinces (Nabozhenko & Keskin 2017), and also in Cyprus (Nabozhenko et al. 2020a). It inhabits coniferous forests of Pinus nigra, Cedrus libani libani, Juniperus excelsa, Abies cilicica in Anatolia and Pinus brutia, Pinus nigra, and Cedrus libani brevifolia Hook F. in Cyprus. Euboeus (Pelorinus) corrugatus (Seidlitz, 1895) Material. 2♂ (PCMN), 2♂, 1♀ (ZDEU): Turkey, Osmaniye Prov., Kadirli Distr., Karatepe, 37°17ʹ12.73ʺN / 36°14ʹ0.77ʺE, 200 m, 3.04.2021 (leg. B. Keskin, M. & S. Nabozhenko). Distribution and bionomics. This species was erroneously interpreted by Kaszab (1968) who listed it for Tunceli, by Ferrer & Soldati (1999) who recorded E. corrugatus for Istanbul, Antalya and Bingöl provinces, and by Tezcan et al. (2004) who listed it from Bartın, Muğla and Mersin provinces. In fact, it occurs only from Kahramanmaraş Province in the north to Amanos Dağları (Osmaniye, Gaziantep, and Hatay provinces) in the south and probably in adjacent areas of Syria. The species was collected from 19:30 to 20: 30 in the old Pinus brutia liana floodplain forest from pine trunks. Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel. Turkish records of this species is originated from the central and eastern ridges of Taurus Mts. (from Mersin, Kahramanmaraş provinces) to Amanos Mts. (Gaziantep and Hatay provinces) (Nabozhenko & Keskin 2017). We additionally collected Helops cyanipes from the north of Adana Province and Nemrut Dağı in Adıyaman Province. Nemrut is the most eastern locality in the range of the species. The species inhabits coniferous forests and woodlands throughout the entire range and it was collected on trunks of Abies cilicica (Antoine et Kotschy) Carrière, Cedrus libani and Pinus nigra (Figs. 7E, F) among fruticose lichens of the family Parmeliaceae. In Fevzipaşa we collected this species on trunks of Pinus brutia where it fed on two foliose species of lichens, Physcia adscendens and Physconia distorta (With.) J.R. Laundon (Physciaceae). In total, 77 paratypes. Description. Male. Body slender, with greasy shine, reddish-brown with pronotum usually more reddish, legs and antennae red. Lateral margin of genae strongly rounded in basal third and weakly rounded in apical two thirds. Lateral margin of head with weak and short sinuation between gena and epistoma. Anterior margin of epistoma weakly rounded. Punctation of head dorsally fine and sparse (puncture diameter less than interpuncture distance), irregular. Ventral side of head with coarse short wrinkles. Apical maxillary palpomeres strongly securiform, slightly wider, than in female.Antennae long and thin, with three apical antennomeres extending beyond base of pronotum. Prothorax. Pronotum weakly transverse, widest at middle. Lateral margins weakly rounded, often slightly emarginated in basal quarter. Anterior margin weakly rounded, base straight, but oblique near posterior corners. Antero-lateral corners rounded, obtuse, postero-lateral corners pointed, obtuse. All margins narrowly beaded. Disc moderately evenly convex, finely and sparsely punctuated by round punctures. Prothoracic hypomera finely wrinkled, with sparse setae. Prosternum with fine and sparse punctation. Prosternal process weakly convex, not beaded. Pterothorax. Scutellar shield wide and rounded, without punctation. Elytra elongate, widest at middle. Punctures in striae elongated, merged in entire furrows. Interstriae weakly convex, very finely and sparsely punctated, with small tubercles (with coeloconic sensilla) on sides and apical quarter. Eighth elytral interval apically similar to others, joining inner intervals apically. Epipleura and dorsal epipleural carina reaching sutural angles, where they transformed to rounded roll. Inner epipleural carina not reaching sutural angle. Mesoventrite with dense, coarse punctation and short setation in anterior half. Mesepisterna and mesepimera with sparse moderately coarse punctation; metepisterna and metaventrite with fine and sparse punctation, bare. Legs. Outer portion of protrochanters separated from profemora and elevated. Trochanters with one (rarely some trochanters can be with two) long seta. Femora without dense hairs, only with short sparse yellow setation. Protibiae straight, with 10–13 teeth on inner side. Meso- and metatibiae straight, without teeth or granules. Protarsomeres 1–3 weakly widened, wider than in female. Abdomen. Abdominal ventrites with sparse and fine punctation and 1 st –4 th ones very fine smooth wrinkles on sides; ventrite 5 completely beaded, with median longitudinal depression in apical half and clear recumbent yellow setation. Genitalia. Inner sternite VIII thickened, with very short spinulose setae, apical lobes turned inside; gland of the sternite large and thickened. Spiculum gastrale with strong C-shaped laterally rods and common stem; blades of spiculum gastrale (derivates of inner abdominal tergite IX) rhombic, with strongly sclerotised inner margin. Aedeagus long and narrow, apical piece very narrow, with widely rounded, almost subquadrate apex; ventral apophises of apical piece widely connected at apical portion. Body length 9.38–12.5 mm, width 3.5–4.63 mm. Female. Measurements: PH —1.46; P w P l —1.28; E l E w —1.55; EH w —2–2.08; EP w —1.4; EP l —2.83. Body robuster, antennae shorter, with two apical antennomeres extending beyond base of pronotum. Maxillary apical antennomeres narrower than in male. Pronotum and elytra wider. Protarsi not widened, protibiae without teeth. Abdominal ventrite 5 with deep oval impression in apical two thirds, without setation. Body length 11.25–14.38 mm, width 4.37–5.25 mm. Etymology. The name derives from two Latin words: “rufus” (red, reddish) and adjective from “crura” (legs). Differential diagnosis. This new species belongs to the praelonga species-group by the structure of the epipleura (epipleura and dorsal epipleural carina reaching sutural angle, where they are transformed to the rounded roll; inner epipleural carina not reaching sutural angle); the aedeagus (the apical piece is thickened, with the longitudinal depression on the dorsal side, weakly S-shaped or straight (lateral view); parameres are dorso-ventrally flattened; the basal piece 2 times and more as long as the apical piece; median lobe baculi merged, acute apically, male inner sternite (strongly sclerotized, thickened, with rounded apices) (Nabozhenko & Keskin 2016). Odocnemis rufocruralis sp. n. is similar to O. torosica Nabozhenko & Keskin, 2016 (Taurus Mts., Turkey), O. terminassianae (Nabozhenko, 2011) (Taurus Mts., Turkey) and O. kakunini Nabozhenko & Keskin, 2016 (Western Iran), which also have straight (not bisinuate) inner side of protibiae. The shape of the aedeagus and the male inner sternite VIII are similar to those in O. kakunini (see Figs. 12A,B,D in Nabozhenko & Keskin (2016)). The new species differs from all three taxa by the reddish-brown body with red legs (three compared species are brown or dark-brown, with brown legs), male apical maxillary palpomeres wider than in female, elevated and narrowly separated male protrochanters, and the structure of the very long and narrow apical piece of the aedeagus; it additionally differs: – from O. kakunini by the completely beaded and setated in male abdominal ventrite 5; – from O. terminassianae by weakly convex elytral interstriae (flatted in O. terminassianae), impressed and setated male abdominal ventrite 5 (not impressed and not setated one in O. terminassianae), mesotibiae without teeth; – from O. torosica by lateral margins of pronotum shortly emarginated near the base, absence of the elytral mucron (some populations of O. torosica are with the mucron), mesotibiae without teeth (eastern populations of O. torosica with teeth), the shape of male inner ventrite VIII. Bionomics and trophic relations. This species inhabits woodlands with different tree species. It was collected on Juglans regia L. near old Hasankeyf (Batman Province), on Quercus brantii Lindl. in Kuyular (Diyarbakır Province) and Düzmeşe (Batman Province), and on Prunus dulcis (Mill.) D.A. Webb in Mardin Province. Odocnemis rufocruralis feeds on Physcia aipolia (Ehrh. ex Humb.) Fürnr. (Physciaceae Zahlbr.) (Fig. 5A) and crustose lichen Pertusaria sp. (on Prunus) in Mardin Province (Fig. 5B). Feeding on crustose lichens is registered for the first time for Coleoptera. Beetles strongly damage lichen thalli at a high abundance (Fig. 5C). Keskin). Description. Male. Body robust, weakly shine dorsally; elytra dark-bluish, pronotum black, with bluish and greenish tint; head black, with very slight greenish tint; scutellar shield weakly bronze; legs, antennae, mouthparts, and ventral side of body brown (Figs. 1A, B). Measurements: Y—1.57; PH —1.66; P w P l —1.25; E l E w —1.4; EH w —2.1; EP w —1.28; EP l —2.26. Head. Widest at eye level. Eyes moderately large, strongly convex. Lateral margin of genae weakly regularly rounded. Lateral margin of head with weak and short sinuation between gena and epistoma. Anterior margin of epistoma straight. Punctation of head coarse and dense, double (small punctures among large foveolate round punctation). Ventral side of head with transverse coarse wrinkles before gula. Antennae comparatively long, with 3 antennomeres extending beyond base of pronotum. Middle antennomeres not strongly thickened, antennae regularly widened from proximal to distal antennomeres, but ultimate antennomere 11 narrower than penultimate one. Scutellar shield triangle, with slightly rounded lateral margins, finely and densely punctated, but with smooth midline. Elytra widest at middle. Lateral carina (dorsal surface of epipleura) and humeral angles very wide, completely visible dorsally. Punctures in striae elongate merged in interrupted deep furrows. Interstriae flat, with simple and weak transverse wrinkles coming from strial punctures, but not coriaceous, without dense irregular micro-wrinkles among punctation. Epipleura not reaching, and epipleural inner carina reaching elytra apex. Punctation of interstriae fine and sparse. Suture finely beaded at apical third of elytra. Eighth interstria convex, connected with lateral elytral margin, dorsal epipleural carina reaching only eighth interstria. Mesoventrite and its sclerites with coarse and dense rugose punctation; metepisterna with dense and coarse simple punctation; metaventrite with fine and sparse punctation and fine recumbent setae. Legs. Trochanters with one long yellow seta. Femora with sparse recumbent setation; pro- and metatibiae straight, mesotibiae weakly bent; tibiae with denser setation of yellow setae. Tarsi long. Mesotarsi slightly shorter than mesotibiae. Abdomen. Abdominal ventrites 1 and 2 with simple fine and sparse punctation; ventrites 3–5 with the same, but double punctation (very small punctures among small ones); ventrite 5 beaded only laterally. Genitalia (Figs. 1D–F). Aedeagus ‘nalassoid’ (Nabozhenko 2005); baculi of median lobe wide, connected (Fig. 1D). Inner sternite VIII with rounded blades and dense setation of long setae. Spiculum gastrale with thin rods and long common stem; blades (derivates of tergite IX) triangle, with sclerotized outer margins. Body length 8–11 mm, width 4–4.3 mm. Female (Fig. 1B). Body robuster, more bluish, pronotum with greenish-violet tint, disc of pronotum more flattened, elytra longer, protarsi slightly narrower than in male. Body length 11–11.2 mm, width 4.5 mm. Etymology. The name derives from Turkish “mavi” (blue) and emphasizes the bluish colouration of the dorsum of the new species. Differential diagnosis. This new species differs from all congeners by the bluish dorsal surface of the body (Figs. 1A,B), the pronotum widest at anterior half (Figs. 1A,B) (at middle or behind the middle in other congeners), and wide merged baculi of the median lobe of the aedeagus (Fig. 1E). It is similar to T. pentheri (Reitter, 1905) and T. petrophilus Keskin, Nabozhenko & Alpagut Keskin, 2017, which also have the punctation of elytral intervals fine and sparse, with the puncture diameter 3–5 times as less as interpuncture distance. Turkonalassus mavi sp. n. additionally differs from the first species by not thickened male antennomeres 4–8 (which are thicker than three apical antennomeres in T. pentheri) and strial punctures merged in furrows (separate in T. pentheri). The new species additionally differs from the latter taxon by much denser and coarser punctation of round punctures (punctures smaller, sparse and elongated on lateral sides in T. petrophilus). Bionomics and trophic relations. The species was collected in old Pinus nigra J.F. Arnold forest with shrub undergrowth of Juniperus communis L. The presence of this juniper shrub undergrowth is crucial factor for all species of Turkonalassus. Usually, beetles hide in thickets of J. communis, and at night they go out on tree trunks or stones. Adult beetles of T. mavi sp. n. were active at night since 20:30 on trunks of Pinus nigra. Host lichen is Pseudevernia furfuraceae (L.) Distribution and bionomics. Euboeus kopetzi was recently described from Antalya Province (Nabozhenko & Grimm 2019) based on a single male specimen. We additionally collected this species in very old Pinus brutia forests in Antalya (Fig. 7D) and Mersin provinces. Adult beetles were active from 20:30 to at least 21:20 and climbed the trunks to a height of 2 m. The registered fruticose host lichens are Parmelina pastillifera (Harm.) The colors used in the corporate identity and logo design of the companies have a great effect on shaping the target audience and customer perception. The colors chosen are very important in terms of the brand image and their effect on the first impression of the company. Businesses in order to make their corporate identities effective and reach the target audience directly; The colors that will attract people's attention and appeal to their requests should be included in the logo design. Various studies have revealed that the success of businesses is related to the colors used in logo and packaging choices.In this study, the colors preferred by 319 students studying visual design in logos that can be designed for 10 different sectors operating in different sectors were examined. First of all, the questions determined to get to know the thoughts of the students about their departments and themselves were asked. According to the scope of the research, the colors of the logo in companies such as health, food, automotive, software, electronics, education were evaluated with criteria such as gender, age, whether they work in a job, and the field they want to work after graduation. This research provides important theoretical contributions to the developing design and color determination issues of the students of the visual communication design department., Firmaların kurumsal kimlik ve logo tasarımında kullanılan renkler, hedef kitle ve müşteri algısının şekillenmesinde büyük bir etkiye sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, farklı sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren 10 farklı sekör için tasarlanabilecek logolarda görsel tasarım eğitimi alan 319 öğrencinin tercih edecekleri renkler incelenmiştir. Öncelikle öğrencilerin bölümleri ile ilgili düşünceleri ve kendilerini tanımak için belirlenen sorular sorulmuştur. Araştırma kapsamına göre belirlenen sağlık, gıda, otomotiv, yazılım, elektronik, eğitim gibi şirketlerde hangi renklerde logo belirledikleri cinsiyet, yaş, bir işte çalışıp çalışmamaları, mezun olduktan sonra çalışmak istedikleri alan gibi kriterler ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bu araştırma, görsel iletişim tasarımı bölümü öğrencilerinin gelişen tasarım ve renk belirleme konularına önemli teorik katkılar sağlamaktadır.

The digital printing system, which is increasing its effectiveness today, has taken great steps with technology since the first years of its existence and has started to have a voice in the sector for the last ten years. The digital printing, which is an alternative to the offset printing system in making design a product, exhibits significant improvements in terms of production efficiency, cost and quality. Offset has become competitive with flexo printing with the developing color efficiency in digital printing machines. High quality and different applications can be made with digital printing machines. In order to achieve this (screening) process, it is necessary to know the boundaries of the color universe that can be seen or produced by the devices and machines used in the system. In this study, the difference between colors and color consistency and basic measurements such as color values, dot gain were evaluated by changing the selection of screen methods used in digital printing. The differences caused by the screening structure variable have been shown with graphics and tables, then suggestions have been made. It has been determined that the change in the screening structures in digital printing creates differences in dot swelling, density and color.

As in all other production and consumption areas, some steps are taken in the packaging industry to minimize the environmental impact. Here we report the current trends and methods that increase sustainability. The material properties, carbon footprints, social aspects, and the future for paper-based packaging are discussed in the general framework.

Nalassus (Nalassus) becvari Nabozhenko & Keskin, sp. nov. (Figs 8���12) Type material. H��������������: ��� (NMPC), labelled: ���Anatol. or. / ELAZIG // Coll. Kadlec���. The holotype was previously deposited in SBCP, but Stanislav Bečv��ř kindly agreed to transfer it to NMPC. Description. Body small (length 6.4 mm, width 2.5 mm), slender, brown, shiny, moderately convex. Head widest at eye level, 1.52 times as wide as interocular space of frons, covered with recumbent setae on vertex, genae and near eyes. Eyes convex, transversely elongate, bean-shaped. Epistomal anterior margin straight. Outer margin of genae angulate, strongly rounded in basal third and straight in apical two thirds. Lateral margin of head without emargination between genae and epistoma. Punctation of head coarse and dense, puncture diameter 1.5���2.0 times as long as interpunctural distance; punctures deep, round. Ventral aspect of eye with a weak posterior ventral impression (not groove). Head ventrally with very coarse punctation and subrecumbent pubescence. Apical maxillary palpomeres strongly widened and flattened, securiform, transverse, with rounded anterior margin.Antennae with strongly thickened oval antennomeres 3���8. Ratio of length/width of antennomeres 2���11: 0.7/0.6, 1.6/0.8, 1.2/0.9. 1.2/0.9, 1.3/1, 1.2/1, 1.3/1, 1/1, 1/1, 1.2/0.9. Prothorax. Pronotum transverse (1.32 times as wide as long), widest slightly before middle, 1.54 times as wide as head. Lateral margins weakly rounded, slightly sinuate near posterior angles; anterior margin weakly widely emarginate; base weakly rounded, with short emargination along scutellum.Angles narrowly rounded at apex, anterior ones rectangular, posterior ones weakly obtuse. Lateral margins and base narrowly beaded, anterior margin beaded only near angles. Disc weakly evenly convex, sides narrowly flattened, punctation slightly finer and sparser than on head, sparser in middle and near margins (puncture diameter 2���4 times as short as interpunctural distance) and denser on sides (puncture diameter subequal or little wider than interpunctural distance). Prosternum with coarse irregular wrinkles (but punctured near procoxae) and erected setae. Prosternal process very weakly convex. Prothoracic hypomera strongly flattened along outer margin, longitudinally wrinkled and vested with long recumbent setae in anterior and basal parts. Pterothorax. Elytra elongate, oval, widest in middle (1.58 times as long as wide), 1.81 times as wide as head, 1.17 times as wide and 2.46 times as long as pronotum. Strial punctures elongate, merged in interrupted grooves. Interstriae flat, with coarse and sparse punctation (punctures slightly smaller than in striae). Eighth interval not more convex than others and apically connected with second interval. Lateral deflected margin of elytra visible dorsally. Epipleura strongly depressed along whole length, not reaching sutural angle (ended slightly before apex). Mesoventrite with coarse and dense punctation of round punctures and recumbent pubescence. Wings reduced, small. Metaventrite and metepisterna with coarse, not dense punctation (puncture diameter subequal to interpunctural distance) and short recumbent setae. Legs slender; protrochanters with 3 long setae, other trochanters with 1 long seta; femora with erected setae at base of inner side; tibiae straight, margins around apex with long setae (not spines); tarsomeres elongate, not widened, densely pubescent on plantar side. Abdomen. Abdominal ventrites with coarse, moderately dense punctation (puncture diameter subequal to interpunctural distance) of round punctures and very short recumbent setae, ventrite 1 without brush of long setae; ventrite 5 more finely punctured, with beaded margin. Aedeagus ���nalassoid���, weakly sclerotized, with laterally flattened keel at apex (Figs 9���10). Male inner sternite VIII and spiculum gastrale typical for Nalassus (Figs 11���12). Differential diagnosis. With strongly depressed, epipleura almost reaching apex, the species is externally similar to Nalassus kaszabi Nabozhenko, 2001 from Van Province, which was transferred to the subgenus Helopondrus Reitter, 1922 on the basis of preliminary analysis of COI markers (K����������� et al. 2017b). On the other hand, males of N. kaszabi are unknown, and we cannot support our molecular data by the structure of male genitalia. Nalassus becvari sp. nov. differs from N. kaszabi in narrowly flattened sides along lateral margins of pronotum and epipleura not reaching elytral sutural angles. The new species differs from all other Turkish species of Nalassus s. str. in the ventral aspect of eye, which bears a weak posterior ventral impression (rather than a distinct groove of other species). This new species can be distinguished from other Turkish Nalassus s. str. using the key below. Etymology. The species is named in honour of our colleague, Stanislav Bečv��ř, who transferred to us many interesting darkling beetles for study. KMENT���. Description. Body large (length 18.0 mm, width 5.5 mm), slender, black, dull. Head widest at eye and genal levels, 1.57 times as wide as interocular space of frons. Eyes strongly transverse, weakly convex. Anterior margin of epistoma slightly rounded. Genae strongly regularly rounded. Lateral margin of head with short obtuse emargination between genae and epistoma. Epistomal surface very weakly depressed. Punctation of head coarse and dense (puncture diameter twice as wide as interpunctural distance). Head dorsally with round coarse punctures around mouthparts and transverse wrinkles on sides of gula; covered with short recumbent setae. Gula with acute apex. Mentum transverse, rectangular. Antennae relatively short, with only two apical antennomeres extending beyond base of pronotum; antennomere 11 short, oval, strongly asymmetric. Prothorax. Pronotum slightly longitudinal (1.07 times as long as wide), widest in anterior third, 1.40 times as wide as head. Lateral margins weakly rounded, slightly widely sinuate near posterior angles; anterior margin widely emarginate; base weakly rounded. Anterior angles rectangular, posterior ones obtuse; all angles narrowly rounded at apex. All margins narrowly beaded, basal third of lateral margins with interrupted bead. Disc of pronotum weakly convex, with posterior angles obliquely depressed. Punctation of disc moderately coarse and dense (puncture diameter subequal to distance between punctures), sparser and finer than on head. Prosternum coarsely punctured. Prothoracic hypomera with coarse asperate punctation of round punctures, granulate near procoxae. Prosternal process with slightly longitudinally impressed surface between procoxae, completely bordered, with conical elevation near apex. Pterothorax. Elytra strongly elongate (2.09 times as long as wide), subcylindrical, widest in apical half, 1.80 times as wide as head, 1.31 times as wide and 2.50 times as long as pronotum. Base of elytra on sides with sub-erect setae. Humeral angles absent. Punctures in striae slightly elongate, distinctly separated. Interstriae flat, with fine and sparse punctation (punctures much smaller than in striae). Narrow deflected margin of elytra only partly visible dorsally. Epipleura without epipleural micro-mucro at apex. Mesoventrite with subcontiguous coarse transversely elongate punctures. Mesepimera, mes- and metepisterna with coarse and dense punctation. Metaventrite with coarse and dense punctation on sides and finer dense punctation in middle. Abdomen. Abdominal ventrites with recumbent brown setae and same punctation as metaventrite; abdominal ventrite 5 not beaded even in basal parts. Inner sternite VIII with terminal sclerotization and two sclerotized longitudinal areas in middle (Fig. 5). Spiculum gastrale with weakly C-shaped rods and very long narrow lobes (Figs 6���7). Tegmen with sharply rectangular apex of apical piece (Fig. 2) and spines in apical third (Figs 2���4). Median lobe with acute separated apex (Fig. 3). Legs slender. Tibiae straight, with very dense line of brown hairs on inner side (longer on metatibiae). Protarsi transversely widened; mesotarsi also widened, but with subequal length and width. Differential diagnosis. Hedyphanes kmenti sp. nov. belongs to the species-group with asperate prothoracic hypomera and it is different from other species of the genus in pubescent sides of elytral base. This species is externally similar to H. seidlitzi seidlitzi Reitter, 1914 from Turkmenistan and Iran (N��������*���������� 2018) in large body, visible elytral striae and elytra widest in apical half, but clearly differs from this species in the absence of epipleural micro-mucro at apex and rectangular apex of apical piece of the aedeagus. Another Turkish species with asperate prothoracic hypomera, H. mannerheimi Faldermann, 1837, differs from H. kmenti additionally in more robust body, strongly convex pronotum and weakly bluish tint of integument. The new species differs from H. cordicollis Seidlitz, 1896 from south-eastern Anatolia (N��������*���������� 2013) in weakly rounded margins of elytra and absence of humeral angles. Turkish Hedyphanes Fischer von Waldheim, 1820 can be distinguished using the key below. Collecting circumstances. The holotype was collected at dry ruderal site with plenty of bare soil patches (P. Helops caeruleus caeruleus (Linnaeus, 1758) Material examined. 1 ��� (VTCB): ��� Cyprus, Perivolie [Pervolia] / 15.07.2000, leg. Josef Dvoř��k���. Comments. Central and southern Europe from Great Britain to Bulgaria. This specimen was found in an entirely anthropogenic landscape (Pervolia village) and very far from the easternmost known populations in Bulgaria. We suppose that this is a case of anthropogenic introduction and the specimen (egg or larva) was probably introduced together with soil mixed with wood rot or with plants for landscaping. Lojistik merkezlerin kurulması, coğrafi olarak lojistik yolları üzerinde bulunan ülkemizin ekonomik gelişimi için yapılabilecek yatırımlarda stratejik önem arz etmektedir. Yatırım kararı alınması sonrasında oluşturulacak eylem planında ele alınması ve mutlaka çözülmesi gereken en önemli sorun bu merkezlerin ülkemizin hangi bölge veya bölgelerinde olması gerektiğidir. Kuruluş yeri tayin problemlerinin çözülmesinde kullanılan mevcut birçok yöntem olmasına rağmen çok kriterli karar verme yöntemi ilk sıralarda yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada, TCDD bünyesinde etüt ve fizibilite çalışmaları tamamlanan ve ihale aşamasına gelen 6 adet lojistik merkezi ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın öncelikli amacı en doğru lojistik merkezin belirlenmesi ve bu merkezin geliştirilmesidir. Lojistik Master Planında belirlenen kriterler doğrultusunda 6 adet lojistik merkez yatırımı Çok Kriterli Karar Verme yöntemlerinden Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci (AHS) ve TOPSIS yöntemleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. AHS yöntemi kullanılarak kriterlerin ağırlıkları belirlenmiş, güncel verilerle karar matrisi oluşturulmuş ve TOPSIS yöntemi ile yatırımların sıralamaları belirlenmiştir. The establishment of logistics centers is strategically important for the investments that can be made for the economic development of our country which is located on the logistics routes geographically. The most important problem that must be addressed and resolved in the action plan, after the investment decision, is that which region or regions of our country should be selected for these centers. Although there are many methods used in solving establishment location problems, the Multiple Criteria Decision Making method is among the most preferred methods. In this study, 6 Logistics Centers, which have completed their survey and feasibility studies and have reached the tender stage within TCDD, have been discussed. The primary aim of the study is to determine the most correct logic center and to develop this center. In line with the criteria determined in the Logistics Master Plan, 6 Logistics Center investments were evaluated using Analytic Hierarchy Process and TOPSIS methods, which are among the Multiple Criteria Decision Making methods. Weights of the criteria were determined by using AHP method, a decision matrix was created with actual data, and the order of investments was determined by TOPSIS method.

The Aegean archipelago, as an 'evolutionary laboratory of nature', is an ideal model for research in phylogeography. in this area, the darkling beetles of the genus Dendarus (distributed from Morocco to the Caucasus) exhibit a high level of diversity with 36 species, 27 of which are island endemics. However, their taxonomy is complex and unstable, having undergone continuous revision to address extensive morphological and ecological plasticity. Here, we examine the phylogenetic relationships of 23 species from Greece and Turkey, using mitochondrial and nuclear DNA sequences and 61 morphological characters, to unveil their phylogeny in the Aegean. This helps to clarify phylogeographic scenarios and historical processes that shaped the observed patterns. The analyses reveal 13 distinct lineages with several para- and polyphyletic cases that correspond to three major phylogroups [south/south-east Aegean (D. foraminosus complex, D. rhodius, D. sporadicus, D. wettsteini); central to north Aegean, Turkey and mainland Greece (D. crenulatus, D. moesiacus group, D. sinuatus complex, D. stygius) and mainland Greece (D. messenius, D. paganettii)], indicating the need for further taxonomic re-evaluation. The taxonomic history, composition, morphology, distribution, and bionomics of the genus Dila Fischer von Waldheim, 1844 are discussed. the following new generic synonymy is established: Dila Fischer von Waldheim, 1844 = Caenoblaps Konig, 1906, syn.n. As a result, four species are transferred from Caenoblaps to the genus Dila: Dila difformis (Konig, 1906), comb.n., Dila nitida (Schuster, 1920), comb.n., Dila baeckmanni (Schuster, 1928), comb.n., Dila kulzeri (Schuster, 1928), comb.n. A new synonymy is established: Blaps kulzeri Pierre, 1964 = Caenoblaps kulzeriana Pierre, 1964, syn.n. A taxonomic review of the eight known Caucasian, Turkish and Iranian species is given. Lectotypes of Caenoblaps nitida and Caenoblaps difformis are designated. Keskin, Nursen Alpagut/0000-0001-6614-8815; Nabozhenko, Maxim/0000-0001-7914-7942; Keskin, Bekir/0000-0002-6662-8736, WOS: 000516777700010, The karyotype and cytogenetic features of darkling beetle Accanthopus velikensis were analysed using conventional and differential staining. the diploid number was determined as 2n = 20 and the presence of Xy(p) sex determination system was observed with DAPI and silver staining as well as conventional staining. Although a single nucleolar material was observed in prophase I nuclei, multiple argyrophilic signals in diakinesis-metaphase I plates makes it difficult to determine the exact NOR location. Both conventionally and differentially stained plates showed that heterochromatin is mostly concentrated on centromeric regions of A. velikensis chromosomes. Obvious telomeric signals on some rod shaped bivalents as well as the X chromosome were also detected with AgNO3 and DAPI staining. Although presented karyotype of A. velikensis resemble to those of other Helopini members and follows the common patterns of Tenebrionid karyotypes, slight differences in chromosome morphologies, NORs and the heterochromatin distribution were detected. Our specimens also showed a unique haplotype for COI sequences with an 84-83% sequence similarity to database sequences for Tenebrionidae.
