The similarity between benign and malignant pathologies on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and a wide-ranging variability of the lesions from benign proliferative changes to invasive breast carcinoma cause a lower and wide-ranging specificity of breast MRI relative to its surpass sensitivity. A wide range of tissue components such as the skin, the adipose tissue, vascular and neural tissues, connective tissues, glandular tissues, ducts, and muscle tissues are found here all together. This pictorial review was aimed at deliberating benign mimickers of breast carcinoma on MRI and trying to call attention to the overlapping and distinctive features.

Objective: It was aimed to investigate whether the fractional anisotropy (FA) differs for the benign and metastatic axillary lymph nodes (LNs).Material and Methods: 58 women with benign (n=33) and metastatic (n=25) axillary LNs who underwent diffusion weighted and tensor imaging with a 3T scanner were enrolled. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) and FA, cortex thickness, long and short axes were measured retrospectively and compared statistically. Observer reliabilities were also assessed in terms of intra and inter-reviewer variability.Results: Metastatic LNs showed significantly lower ADC and FA values and greater cortex thickness, long and short axes. ROC test showed the area under the curve values of 0.876 for ADC, 0.661 for FA and 0.960 for cortex thickness. Cortex thickness had excellent sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy. A cutoff value of 3.5 mm for cortex thickness had 92% sensitivity, 94% specificity, 92% positive predictive value (PV), 93% negative PV, and 93% accuracy. A cutoff value of 0.774x10-3 mm2/s for ADC had 84% sensitivity, 82% specificity, 79% positive PV, 90% negative PV, and 84% accuracy. A cutoff value of 0.423 x10-3 mm2/s for FA had 64% sensitivity, 76% specificity, 67% positive PV, 71% negative PV, and 71% accuracy. High intra- and inter-observer reliabilities were seen.Conclusion: Among the parameters assessed by our study, cortex thickness had superior accuracy. ADC and FA showed a respectable diagnostic performance, especially the first one having a high negative PV and the second one relatively high specificity.

Otomobil lastiği üretim endüstrisinde kullanılan kord bezi, lastiklerin dayanıklılığı ve yol tutuşunda büyük önem taşır. Bu yüzden kord bezi ile kauçuğun birbiri ile uyumu önemlidir. Kord bezini oluşturan ipliklerin yüzeyi resorsinol-formaldehit-lateks (RFL) reçineler ile kaplanır ve ısıl işlem uygulanarak kauçuk ile yapışması sağlanır. Kord bezi üretiminde sık kullanılan polimerik iplikler rayon, aramid, polyester ve poliamid liflerdir.Kord bezi üretiminde en çok kullanılan polyester lif poli(etilen tereftalat) (PET) ipliklerdir. PET ipliğinin yüksek dayanım özelliğine rağmen yapışma özelliği zayıftır. Yapışma özelliğini arttırmak için RFL kaplama çözeltisi ile kaplamadan önce PET iplik genel olarak diizosiyanat ve epoksi gibi yapışmayı arttırıcı kimyasallarla kaplanmaktadır.Bu tez çalışmasında epoksi türevi olan yeni lineer ve yıldız epoksi polimerler sentezlendi, lastik ile yapışması istenilen PET kord bezi ipliğinin yapışmasının arttırılması hedeflendi. Lineer, üç kollu ve dört kollu yıldız poli(glisidil metakrilat) (PGMA) polimerler, kontrollü radikal polimerizasyon tekniği olan atom transfer radikal polimerizasyonu (ATRP) metodu kullanılarak sentezlendi. Kimyasal yapısı 1H NMR ve FTIR ile, termal özellikleri termal gravimetrik analiz (TGA) ve diferansiyel taramalı kalorimetre (DSC) ile belirlendi.Değişik oranlarda hazırlanan epoksi polimer çözeltileri ile kaplanmış PET iplik, RFL banyosuna daldırıldıktan sonra ısıl işlemden geçirilerek kauçukla vulkanize edildi. Örneklere tek kord şerit yapışma, H yapışma ve kopma dayanımı gibi testler uygulanarak PET-kauçuk arasındaki yapışma özellikleri incelendi. Farklı oranlarda ve farklı epoksi polimerler ile hazırlanmış PET-kauçuk örnekleri karşılaştırıldığında dört kollu PGMA'ya ait en yüksek epoksi içeren çözelti ile kaplanmış örneğin yapışma değerlerinin en yüksek çıktığı gözlemlendi. Cord fabric used in the automobile tire manufacturing industry is of great importance in the durability and handling of tires. Therefore, it is very important that the cord gland and the rubber are compatible with each other. In order to increase this compatibility, the surface of the yarns forming the cord fabric is coated with resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex (RFL) resins. Polymeric yarns commonly used in cord fabric production are rayon, aramid, polyester and polyamide fibers.Poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) yarns are the most widely used polyester fiber in cord fabric production. Although PET yarn has high strength, its adhesion is poor. To improve adhesion, the PET yarn is generally coated with some adhesion promoting chemicals such as diisocyanate and epoxy prior to coating with the RFL coating solution.In this thesis, new linear and star epoxy polymers, which is an epoxy derivative, were synthesized and it was aimed to increase the adhesion between rubber and PET cord yarn by coating these epoxy polymers to activate the surface of PET cord yarn that is desired to be bonded with rubber. Linear, three-arm and four-arm star poly(glycidyl methacrylate) (PGMA) polymers were synthesized using the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) method, a controlled radical polymerization technique. Chemical structure was determined by 1HNMR and FTIR, thermal properties were determined by thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).The PET yarn coated with epoxy polymers obtained in different ratios was dipped into RFL bath and then heat treated and vulcanized with rubber. The adhesion properties of PET-rubber were investigated by applying tests such as single cord peeling, H adhesion and tensile strength to the rubber samples vulcanized with PET yarn. In this study, the solution was prepared from epoxy polymers having three different structures in different proportions and the surface of the yarn was coated and its effect on adhesion was compared by applying different production process temperatures. When the PET-rubber samples prepared with different epoxy polymers in different ratios were compared, the adhesion values of the four-armed PGMA coated with the highest epoxy containing solution were found to be highest. 81

Amaç: Araştırma; hemşirelerin manevi bakım algıları ile manevi bakım yeterlilikleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma, gerekli izinlerin alındığı tarihten itibaren Aralık 2017-Mart 2018 tarihleri arasında yürütülmüştür. Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve ilişkisel tipte olup, araştırmanın örneklemini 700 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Hemşirelerin maneviyat ve manevi bakım algılarını değerlendirmek için Maneviyat Manevi Bakım Dereceleme Ölçeği(MMBDÖ), hemşirelerin manevi bakım yeterliliklerini değerlendirmek için Manevi Bakım Yeterlilik Ölçeği(MBYÖ) kullanılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ortalama ve standart sapma, yüzde-frekans, Kruskall-Wallis, Mann-Whitney U, Spearman Korelasyon testleri ve Çoklu Regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır.Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 31,29±7,30 Min= 18 Max= 59'dur.MMBDÖ toplam puanı; 58,00±5,76 ve madde puan ortalaması ise 3,41±,33 olarak bulunurken, MBYÖ genel toplam puanı 91,52±,05 ve MBYÖ madde puan ortalaması ise 3,51±,50 bulunmuştur. WOS: 000410309300006 PubMed ID: 28152254 Purpose: To determine whether the use of necrosis/wall apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) ratios in the differentiation of necrotic lung lesions is more reliable than measuring the wall alone. Materials and Methods: In this retrospective study, a total of 76 patients (54 males and 22 females, 71% vs. 29%, with a mean age of 53 +/- 18 years, range, 18-84) were enrolled, 33 of whom had lung carcinoma and 43 had a benign necrotic lung lesion. A 3T scanner was used. The calculation of the necrosis/wall ADC ratio was based on ADC values measured from necrosis and the wall of the lesions by diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). Statistical analyses were performed with the independent samples t-test and receiver operating characteristic analysis. Intraobserver and interobserver reliability were calculated for ADC values of wall and necrosis. Results: The mean necrosis/wall ADC ratio was 1.67 +/- 0.23 for malignant lesions and 0.75 +/- 0.19 for benign lung lesions (P < 0.001). To estimate malignancy the area under the curve (AUC) values for necrosis ADC, wall ADC, and the necrosis/wall ADC ratio were 0.720, 0.073, and 0.997, respectively. A wall/necrosis ADC ratio cutoff value of 1.12 demonstrated a 100% sensitivity and 98% specificity in the estimation of malignancy. Positive predictive value was 100%, and negative predictive value 98% and diagnostic accuracy 99%. There was a good intraobserver and interobserver reliability for wall and necrosis. Conclusion: The necrosis/wall ADC ratio appears to be a reliable and promising tool for discriminating lung carcinoma from benign necrotic lung lesions than measuring the wall alone.

Haber-i vâhidin Kur'ân'a arz edilmesi ve arz neticesinde Kur'ân'a aykırı olduğu tespit edilen hadisleri ele almaya çalıştığımız tezimiz giriş, üç bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında konunun önemi, amacı, kapsamı, yöntemi ve kaynaklarına ilişkin açıklamalar yer almaktadır. Birinci bölümde, hadislerin Kur'ân'a arzının mantığını daha iyi ortaya koyabilme adına, `Manevî Inkıtâ'` kavramı ve manevî ınkıtâ'a sebep olan durumlar, Pezdevî ve Serahsî'nin takip ettiği yol izlenerek `Muâraza` ve `Râvideki Kusur Sebebiyle Inkıtâ'` başlığı altında alınmaktadır.İkinci bölümde, çalışmamızın da asıl konusunu teşkil eden, genelde hadislerin özelde haber-i vâhidlerin Kur'ân'a arz edilme mevzusu, Hanefî usûl kaynakları çerçevesinde detaylı bir şekilde taranarak incelenmektedir. Our thesis, in which we tried to discuss the matter of crosschecking (Arz) Khabar-i Wahid against the Qur'an and the hadeeths refused as a result, consists of entry, three parts and conclussion.At the entry, there are explanations about the importance, purpose, scope, method and sources of the subject.In the first part, in order to better present the logic of crosschecking the hadeeths against the Qur'an, the concept of `Inqita-i Manawiyyah` (Hidden Interruption) and the situations causing it, following the methodology of Pazdawi and Sarakhsi, are put under the title of `Muâraza` (Controversy) and `The Interruption Due to a Defect of a Narrator`.In the second part, being the main topict of our study, the subject of croschecking the hadeeths in general, khabar-i wahid in particular againts the Qur'an, is being examined while combing the fundamental Hanafi usûl (fundamental, base, main) sources throughly. This part is explored under two sub-titles, `Sunnah's place against the Qur'an` and `Reasons and supporting arguments of crosschecking Hadeets against the Qur'an`.As for the third part, the hadeeths which are not used for practice in the Hanefî usûl and fürû (branch, detail) sources, for the reason being contradictory to the Qur'an, are classified as ibâdât (worships), muâmelât (buying, selling, rents and companies etc) and uqûbât (punishments); and their reflections on the fürû are tried to be shown.
