Aggregation-induced emission based organic heterocyclic luminogens bearing conjugated electronic structures showed much attention due to its excellent fluorescence in aggregation state. In this communication, a novel conjugated blue light emitting imidazole molecule is synthesized by one pot multicomponent reaction route is reported for the first time. The prepared molecule exhibits a strong fluorescence in aggregation state with exceptional properties, such as high purity, inexpensive, eco-friendly, large scale production, high photostability, etc. By considering these advantages, a new fluorescence based platform has been setup for in-situ visualization of latent fingerprints and its preservation by spray method followed by Poly(vinyl alcohol) masking. A clear and well defined fluorescence fingerprint images are noticed on variety of surfaces by revealing level 1–3 ridge features upon ultraviolet 365 nm light exposure. The dual nature of binding specificity as well as excellent fluorescence properties permits the visualization of latent fingerprints for longer durations (up to 365 days) with superior contrast, high sensitivity, efficiency, selectivity and minimal background hindrance. We further fabricated unclonable invisible security ink for various printing modes on valuable goods for protection against forging. The developed labels are displaying uniform distribution of ink and exceptional stability under various atmospheric environments. The development of long preservative information using aggregation-induced emission based luminogen opens up a new avenue in advanced forensic and data security applications.

Background Extracellular matrix (ECM) bioscaffolds produced by decellularization of source tissue have been effectively used for numerous clinical applications. However, decellularized tracheal constructs have been unsuccessful due to the immediate requirement of a functional airway epithelium on surgical implantation. ECM can be solubilized to form hydrogels that have been shown to support growth of many different cell types. The purpose of the present study is to compare the ability of airway epithelial cells to attach, form a confluent monolayer, and differentiate on homologous (trachea) and heterologous (urinary bladder) ECM substrates for potential application in full tracheal replacement. Materials and methods Porcine tracheas and urinary bladders were decellularized. Human bronchial epithelial cells (HBECs) were cultured under differentiation conditions on acellular tracheal ECM and urinary bladder matrix (UBM) bioscaffolds and hydrogels and were assessed by histology and immunolabeling for markers of ciliation, goblet cell formation, and basement membrane deposition. Results Both trachea and urinary bladder tissues were successfully decellularized. HBEC formed a confluent layer on both trachea and UBM scaffolds and on hydrogels created from these bioscaffolds. Cells grown on tracheal and UBM hydrogels, but not on bioscaffolds, showed positive-acetylated tubulin staining and the presence of mucus-producing goblet cells. Collagen IV immunolabeling showed basement membrane deposition by these cells on the surface of the hydrogels. Conclusions ECM hydrogels supported growth and differentiation of HBEC better than decellularized ECM bioscaffolds and show potential utility as substrates for promotion of a mature respiratory epithelium for regenerative medicine applications in the trachea.

The main objective of the paper is to prove some unified common fixed point theorems for a family of mappings under a minimal set of sufficient conditions. Our results subsume and improve a host of common fixed point theorems for contractive type mappings available in the literature of the metric fixed point theory. Simultaneously, we provide some new answers in a general framework to the problem posed by Rhoades (Contemp Math 72, 233-245, 1988) regarding the existence of a contractive definition which is strong enough to generate a fixed point, but which does not force the mapping to be continuous at the fixed point. Concrete examples are also given to illustrate the applicability of our proved results.

Ayurveda classics mentioned various types of Swasa and Tamaka Swasa is one among them. Tamakaswasa is manifested by aggravated Pranavayu by the obstruction of Kapha. In this case treatment should be to clear out Pranavaha srotas, pacify Vata and remove the blockage due to Kapha. In modern science Tamaka Swasa is correlated with Bronchial Asthma. It’s a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways in which the chronic inflammation causes an associated increase in airway hyper responsiveness that leads to recurrent episodes of asthmatic exacerbation. Modern science has no permanent cure of Tamaka Swasa, that’s why it is necessity to search herbal and herbo-mineral preparations for the treatment of disease. Present Study was conducted to reduce the symptoms of Tamakaswasa. Bharangyadi Choorna and Vyaghri Choorna have the properties of Kapha Vata hara, Agni Deepana, Pachana, Anulomana, Srotoshodhana, anti-asthamatic and anti-inflammatory property. Materials and Method: Patients who have symptoms of Tamakaswasa fulfill the inclusion criteria were given with Bharangyadi Choorna 4gm thrice a day along with Ardraka Swarasa as Anupana in the trail group i.e., group A and Vyaghri Choorna 4gm thrice a day along with honey as Anupana in the control group i.e. group B. It is a comparative clinical study with 30 patients in each group for 30 days. Analyzing the signs and symptoms, PEFR after each 10 days, Wilcoxon test was done for comparing the effectiveness of treatment between two groups. Comparative analysis of the overall effect of the treatments in both the groups was done by statistically done by Mann-Whitney test. Results: There was statistically significant change in all the signs and symptoms and PEFR after treatment and follow up. All the signs and symptoms have P ≤ 0.05. Conclusion: Bharangyadi Choorna has shown highly significant reduction in the symptoms like Swasakrichratha, Peenasa, Kasa, Ghurghuraka, Krichrabhashana, Shushkasya and PEFR. On comparison between the two groups, Bharangyadi choorna showed a better result in improvement of symptoms- Swasakrichratha, Peenasa, Kasa, Ghurghuraka, Krichrabhashana, Shushkasya and objective parameter- PEFR. Hence H2 hold good.

A protocol for production of haploids from two heterozygous male sterile lines of Tagetes erecta using un-pollinated ovules as explant was standardized. Various factors affecting the in vitro gynogenic response viz., growth regulators, ovule developmental stage, basal media, sucrose concentration, photoperiod and cold shock duration were assessed in Tagetes erecta. Direct induction of parthenogenic embryos occurred in cultivar ‘Local Orange’ when the un-pollinated ovules were cultured in EMS (MS medium enriched with coconut water, AgNO3, PVP etc.) medium supplemented with 2 mg l−1 BAP and 0.5 mg l−1 NAA or 2 mg l−1 BAP along with 2 mg l−1 2,4-D. The developmental stage of the flower buds was vital in embryo induction from the excised ovules. The ovules collected from half-open flower buds were more responsive to gynogenesis as compared to ovules collected from un-open and fully open flower buds. EMS basal medium was found best for gynogenesis over the other commercially available basal media. Cold pre-treatment of flower buds at 4 oC had no stimulatory effect and negatively affected the gynogenesis. The dark culture condition was imperative for direct parthenogenic embryo induction than 16 h light duration. The ploidy levels of 17 regenerants were determined by cytological studies, revealed 47.06% as diploids, 41.18% as haploids and 11.76% as mixoploids. These results were reconfirmed with flow cytometry analysis. The determination of ploidy level by counting the number of chloroplasts in stomatal guard cells of marigold was also established for rapid screening of haploids. The resultant haploids were successfully diploidised and are being utilized in the hybrid breeding programme at our institute. The standardized protocol for doubled haploids (DHs) production by un-pollinated ovule culture paved the way for Tagetes F1 hybrid breeding. This is the first successful report of in vitro gynogenesis in Tagetes spp for production of doubled haploids (DHs). The protocol for obtaining high frequency parthenogenic embryo induction from unpollinated ovules was standardized and validated for rapid production of homozygous lines.

Objective: In the current investigation,nanosponges were set up by emulsion solvent diffusion technique utilizing ethyl cellulose and β-cyclodextrin as polymers. Methods: Diltiazem hydrochloride is taken as model medication for considering different nanosponge formulations. The similarity of different formulation segments was set up by Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) spectroscopy. Molecular size, surface morphology, entrapment efficiency and drug content of nanosponges were analyzed. Shape and surface morphology of the nanosponges were inspected utilizing scanning electron microscopy. Results: Molecule size of formulated nanosponges was seen in the scope of 186 to 476 nm. Scanning electron microscopy uncovered the permeable, round nature of the nanosponges. The drug content of nanosponges for ethyl cellulose containing formulations was seen as in the scope of 62.25 to 85.11% and for the β-cyclodextrin containing details were seen as in the scope of 65.18-89.67%. The percentage entrapment effectiveness of nanosponges for ethyl cellulose containing formulations were seen as in the scope of 54.18 to 79.49% and for the β-cyclodextrin containing details were seen as in the scope of 58.21-83.45%. In vitro drugreleasefindings demonstrated that at 12 h ethyl cellulose containing formulations discharged the drug in the scope of 57.27-89.09% and for the β-cyclodextrin containing formulations discharged in the scope of 73.94-93.26%. Conclusion: Sustained drugreleasefrom formulations is supported if there is an occurrence of ethyl cellulose in the formulations rather with plans containing β-cyclodextrin.

This paper presents the analysis of transient stability for industrial generators and the effect of distributed generator units on transient stability has been studied. Here we considered IEEE 39 busses system having one utility bus and 9 captive generation units. It is observed that the voltages at all the buses, decreased when Wind Power DGs are connected. Voltages at all the buses in the system are reduced because of reactive power demand by Induction Generators. The total load of the system is 121.57 MW + j 56.6 MVAr. Critical Clearing Times (CCTs) are obtained without introducing any DG and later, CCTs are obtained with four Wind Power DGs. Their capacities are 7.0 MW, 8.0 MW, 9.0 MW and 5.0 MW with 0.8, 0.85, 0.9 and 0.95 power factors respectively. The Induction Generators used in Wind DGs inject active power and consume reactive power. It is observed that the voltages at all the buses, decreased when Wind Power DGs are connected. Voltages at all the buses in the system are reduced because of reactive power demand by Induction Generators. LLLG faults at seven load buses and nine Generator buses and are considered for obtaining Critical Clearing Times (CCT). It is observed that transient stability of system is improved by placing DGs. DGs used in this system improves the critical clearing time (CCT) for faults at load buses by 30% and faults at generator buses by 15.5%. The detailed results are tabulated in this paper.

In precision manufacturing, especially in making of holes on the parts during drilling process for precision assembling of parts facing problems with burr formation. Drilling is one of the finishing operations in the production cycle, removal of burrs during drilling process is a time consuming and non-value added process to the manufacturing sector. In this paper, we developed an analytical models for thrust force, torque and burr size with variable clearance angle of drill bit geometry especially for Aluminium alloys used for automotive applications. An analytical model results were obtained by writing a code in MATLAB @ 2010 software for aluminium alloy series such as Al 6061, Al 2014 and Al 7075. In an economic front, de-veloped mathematical models are benefitted to reduce experimentation, these results reveal that at the beginning of the drilled hole due to indentation of chisel edge, more thrust and torque was identified, beyond that suddenly thrust force was lowered, cutting forces by the lip edges were increased from beginning of the process to progress of drilling process. The proposed model approach is helpful to the budding entrepreneurs in the related areas to select optimal combination of drilling parameters to attain multiple performance characteristics of responses especially in burr size to prevent the post finishing operations up to certain extent.

In this article, we introduce some generalized contractive mappings over a metric space as extensions of various contractive mappings given by Kannan, Ciric, Proinov and G?rnicki. Some fixed point theorems have been proved for such new contractive type mappings via asymptotic regularity and some weaker versions of continuity. Supporting examples have been given in strengthening the hypothesis of our established theorems. As a by-product we explore some new answers to the open question posed by Rhoades.

Objectives Countries throughout the world are experiencing COVID-19 viral load in their populations, leading to potential transmission and infectivity of asymptomatic COVID-19 cases. The current systematic review and meta-analysis aims to investigate the role of asymptomatic infection and transmission reported in family clusters, adults, children and healthcare workers, globally. Study design Systematic review and meta-analysis. Methods An online literature search of PubMed, Google Scholar, medRixv and BioRixv was performed using standard Boolean operators, and included studies published up to 17 August 2021. For the systematic review, case reports, short communications and retrospective studies were included to ensure sufficient asymptomatic COVID-19 transmission data were reported. For the quantitative synthesis (meta-analysis), participant data from a collection of cohort studies focusing on groups of familial clusters, adults, children and healthcare workers were included. Inconsistency among studies was assessed using I2 statistics. The data synthesis was computed using the STATA 16.0 software. Results This study showed asymptomatic transmission among familial clusters, adults, children and healthcare workers of 15.72%, 29.48%, 24.09% and 0%, respectively. Overall, asymptomatic transmission was 24.51% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 14.38, 36.02) among all studied population groups, with a heterogeneity of I2 = 95.30% (p

An efficient in vitro propagation protocol has been developed for the first time on direct differentiation of shoot buds from immature male flower buds of banana cv. Karpura Chakkarakeli (AAB). MS media supplemented with 1.0 mgL-1 TDZ + 0.5 mgL-1 IAA + 2 mgL-1 CH was found optimal for per -cent cauliflower-like bodies (CLBs) formation (75.04%), maximum number of CLBs (15.01) explant-1 and minimum number of days (43.54d) taken for CLBs induction. The highest per cent (75.37%) and maximum number (12.78) of shoots proliferated explant-1 within 120 days after culture initiation. The regenerated plantlets rooted better in half MS media supplemented with 0.5 mgL-1 IBA and hardened with 97% survival rate. SSR & ISSR markers were employed to assess the genetic stability of in vitro regenerated and multiplied plantlets of banana cv. Karpura Chakkarakeli (AAB) recorded 100% monomorphic across all the regenerated plants with the mother plant.
