The 11B(10B,9Be)12C reaction was studied at the energy of 41.3 MeV with transitions to the ground (0+) and low-lying excited 4.44 MeV (2+) and 9.64 MeV (3−) states of 12C nucleus. The analysis of the measured angular distributions was carried out using a modified distorted wave (MDWBA) method, assuming a one-step proton transfer mechanism. It was shown that at small angles (in the region of the main diffraction maximum) this reaction occurs on the nuclear surface with the dominance of a one-step process. This made possible to determine the values of asymptotic normalization coefficients (ANC) for 11B + p → 12C. The squared ANCs equal to 322 ± 76 fm−1, 32.8 ± 8.4 fm−1 and 1.26 ± 0.44 fm−1 for 0+, 2+ and 3− states of the 12C nucleus respectively were obtained. These values were used to take into account the contribution of the direct process in the calculation of astrophysical S-factors for the radiative capture of a proton by the 11B nucleus at astrophysical energies.

The presence of a neutron halo in 15C has been demonstrated in several reaction experiments at intermediate energies. In the present study, the dynamical effects of this structure are observed for the first time at Coulomb barrier energies in the 15C + 208Pb quasi-elastic scattering at Elab=65 MeV, measured at the HIE-ISOLDE facility, CERN using the high-granularity detector array GLORIA. A combined continuum discretised coupled channels and coupled reaction channels calculation describes the data well and significant coupling effects due both to breakup and single-neutron stripping are identified.

The proton drip-line nucleus 17Ne is considered a good candidate for a Borromean two-proton halo with a 15O + p + p structure. Angular distributions of the elastic scattering and inclusive 15O production for a 136 MeV 17Ne beam incident on a 208Pb target were measured for the first time at the SPIRAL1 facility, GANIL. Use of the GLORIA detector array allowed high-resolution data over a wide angular range from 20∘ up to 95∘ in the laboratory frame to be obtained. The elastic scattering angular distribution shows similarities with those for both 6He and 20Ne at equivalent collision energies with respect to the corresponding Coulomb barriers, exhibiting the suppression of the Coulomb rainbow peak characteristic of strong coupling. Optical model and coupled channel fits suggest that this is due to a combination of coupling to low-lying quadrupole resonances and Coulomb dipole coupling to the low-lying continuum, although their relative importance depends on the relevant B(E2) values which remain to be firmly determined.

A comparative analysis of calculations for the 12С(10В,10В)12С elastic scattering at Еlab(10B) = 41.3 MeV, the 12С(11В,11В)12С elastic scattering at Еlab(11B) = 40.0 MeV, transfer reactions 13С(11В,12С)12В and 14С(11В,12С)13В at Еlab(11B) = 45.0 МеВ was performed within the coupled-reaction-channels method (CRC) using previously deduced Woods-Saxon potentials for the interaction of 10,11,12,13В + 12С nuclei in the exit reaction channels, as well as potentials for these systems of nuclei generated by means of the double-folding method using theoretically modeled shapes for the distributions of protons and neutrons in 10,11,12,13В and 12С. The relationship of isotopic effects (differences of the calculated CRC cross sections when replacing the potential for a given pair of nuclei by interaction potential for one nucleus with the isotope of another nucleus) with the internal structure, e.g. the shapes of nucleon density distributions in the interacting nuclei, is investigated. The shapes (radial dependence) of recently deduced Woods-Saxon potentials and potentials calculated by means of the double-folding methods for the systems of 10,11,12,13В + 12С nuclei are compared. Based on the results of the analysis of experimental data, an assumption is made about the possible differences in the shapes of surface nucleon density distributions from the ones modeled theoretically in 10,11B isotopes.

New experimental data for differential cross-sections of the 14C(11B, 12C)13B reaction obtained recently at the energy Еlab(11B) = 45 MeV for the ground states of 13B and 12C were analyzed within the coupled reaction channels (CRC) method that included the 11B + 14C elastic scattering channel as well as channels for one- and two-step transfers of nucleons in the coupling scheme. The necessary 11B + 14C Woods - Saxon (WS) optical potential parameters for the entrance reaction channel were obtained from 11B elastic scattering in the previous work, while those for 12C + 13B interaction were deduced from fitting the CRC calculations to the 14C(11B, 12C)13B reaction data. Needed spectroscopic amplitudes of transferred nucleons and clusters were calculated within the translational-invariant shell model. The data are well described by the direct transfer of a proton while contributions from two-step transfers were found to be negligible. The deduced 13B + 12C WS optical potential parameters are compared with those of the 10,11,12B + 12C nuclei interactions. The effect of isotopic differences in these interactions was observed.

New experimental data of angular distributions for the 6Li(10B,9Be)7Be reaction were measured at the energy Elab(10B) = 51 MeV for the ground states of nuclei and excited 0.429 - 7.2 MeV states of 7Be. The reaction experimental data were analyzed within coupled-reaction-channels method (CRC) for many types of the nucleon and cluster transfers which spectroscopic amplitudes (factors) in the 9Be and 7Be nuclei were calculated using translation invariant shell model. The Woods - Saxon potential was used for CRC-calculations. The 6Li + 10B potential parameters were deduced before from the analysis of experimental data of 10B ions scattering by 6Li nuclei at the energy Elab(10B) = 51 MeV, and the 9Be + 7Be potential parameters for exit reaction channel were deduced from the CRC calculations fitting to the reaction experimental data. Thus, the information about the 9Be + 7Be optical potential, the basic reaction mechanisms and the 9Be and 7Be nuclei structures were deduced.

The differences between these CRC calculations were observed. The "isotopic effects" were observed for the potentials of 12C interactions with boron isotopes 10, 11, 12B.

New experimental data of angular distributions for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 10B ions by 6Li nuclei were obtained at the energy Elab(10B) = 51 MeV for the ground and excited 2.18 – 5.7 MeV states of 6Li and 0.7 – 6.56 MeV states of 10В. These elastic and inelastic scattering data and known from literature data of elastic scattering of 6Li ions by 10В nuclei at energy Elab(6Li) = 30 MeV were analyzed within coupled-reaction-channels method. The 6Li + 10B elastic and inelastic scattering data, spin reorientation of 6Li and 10В, as well as more important transfer reactions, were included in the channels-coupling scheme. The Woods - Saxon potential parameters, as well as 6Li and 10В deformation parameters, were deduced. The mechanisms of the 6Li + 10В inelastic scattering were studied within the model of collective nuclei excitations, the differences of the 6Li + 10В elastic scattering from using 6Li + 10В, 7Li + 10В and 6Li + 11В potentials were observed, the contributions of one- and two-step transfers were deduced using spectroscopic amplitudes for transfer particles calculated within the translation invariant shell model.

Angular distributions of the elastic and inelastic scattering of 15N ions by 6Li nuclei were measured at the energy Elab(15N) = 81 MeV. The data were analyzed within the coupled-reaction-channels method (CRC). The elastic and inelastic scattering, spin reorientation of 6Li as well as the one- and two-step transfer reactions were included in the channels-coupling scheme. The potential of Woods - Saxon form (WS) and double folded potential DF for the 15N + 6Li nuclei interaction were used in CRC-calculations. The WS potential parameters, deformation parameters of 6Li and 15N nuclei were deduced and the information about the role of other processes in the 15N + 6Li elastic and inelastic scattering was obtained. Spectroscopic amplitudes of nucleons and clusters, calculated according to a translational invariant shell model, were used in the CRC-calculations. It was established that the potential scattering and the 6Li spin reorientation are dominated in the 15N + 6Li elastic scattering. Contributions from particle transfers in this scattering were negligible. Comparing the 15N + 6Li and 15N + 7Li elastic scattering at the energy Elab(15N) = 81 MeV, it was found marked differences between the experimental data and interaction potentials (isotopic effects).

Reaction 13C(11B, 7Li)17O at the energy Еlab(11B) = 45 MeV for the ground and excited states of the 7Li and 17O nuclei was studied. The reaction experimental data were analyzed within the coupled-reaction-channels method (CRC). The 13C + 11B elastic scattering channel and one- and two-step reactions transferring nucleons and clus-ters were included in the coupling scheme. The spectroscopic amplitudes of nucleons and clusters needed for the CRC-calculations were computed within the translationally invariant shell model (TISM). The Woods-Saxon (WS) potential was used for the entrance reaction channel with the parameters deduced from the CRC-analysis of the 11B + 13C elastic scattering experimental data when the potential WS and the folding-potential (DF) with im-aginary part, parameters of which were deduced from the fitting of the CRC cross sections to the 13C(11B, 7Li)17O reaction experimental data, were used for the exit 7Li + 17O reaction channel. The parameters of the imaginary WS-potential were deduced in the same way. The parameters of the real part of this potential were obtained by fitting it to the peripheral region of the DF-potential. Isotopic differences of the 13C(11B, 7Li)17O reaction cross sections using the parameters of 7Li + 17O, 7Li + 16О and 7Li + 18O interaction for the exit reaction channel were observed.

Angular distributions of the 11B + 15N elastic and inelastic scattering were measured at Elab (15N) = 84 MeV. The data were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method. The elastic and inelastic scattering, reorientations of 11B and 15N in ground and excited states as well as the important one- and two-step transfer reactions were included in the channels-coupling-scheme. The 11B + 15N optical potential parameters as well as deformation parameters of these nuclei were deduced. The contributions of one- and two-step transfers in the 11B + 15N elastic and inelastic scattering channels were estimated.

Angular distributions of the 7Li + 12C elastic and inelastic scattering as well as the 7Li(14N, Х) reactions with exited stable and unstable nuclei with Z = 3 6 were measured at Elab(12C) = 115 MeV. The data were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method. The elastic and inelastic scattering, reorienta-tions of 7Li in ground and excited states as well as more important transfer reactions were included in the chan-nels-coupling-scheme. 7Li + + 12C optical potential parameters for ground and excited states of 7Li and 12C as well as deformation parameters of these nuclei were deduced. The contributions of one- and two-step transfers in the 7Li + 12C elastic and inelastic scattering channels were estimated.

Contributions of one- and two-step transfers of nucleons and clusters into the 14С(11B, 9Be)16N reaction cross-sections were obtained.

The data were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method. The 6Li + 18O optical potential parameters as well as deformation parameters of these nuclei were deduced and the scatter-ing mechanisms were studied. The isotopic differences between the 6, 7Li + 18O and 6Li + 16, 18O scattering as well as their potential parameters were investigated.

New experimental data for differential cross sections of 14С(11B, 11B)14С inelastic scattering at the energy Elab.(11В) = 45 MeV for transitions of 11B nucleus to the excited states of 2,12 - 8,56 MeV were obtained. Experi-mental data were analyzed within optical model and coupled-reaction channels method. Elastic and inelastic scattering of nuclei, reorientation of spin of 11B and simplest transfers of nucleons and clusters were included in the coupling scheme. Woods - Saxon optical model parameters of 14С + 11B interaction and deformation parameters of 11B nu-cleus were deduced. Optical potential, deduced from the fit of experimental data, is compared to the respective folding-potential, calculated by the method of double-folding. Isotopic differences of optical model potentials for 12,13,14С + 11B interaction, using the results of recent publications of 12,13С + 11B elastic and inelastic scattering at similar energies, were investigated. Contributions of one- and two-step transfers of nucleons and clusters into the elastic and inelastic channels of 14С + 11B scattering were defined.

Angular distributions of the 7Li + 14N elastic and inelastic scattering as well as the 7Li(14N, Х) reactions with production of 13, 15, 16N + 8, 6, 5Li, 11, 12, 13, 14С + 10, 9, 8, 7Ве, 10, 11, 12В + 11, 10, 9В nuclei and others were measured at Elab (14N) = 80 MeV. The data were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method. The elastic and inelastic scattering, reorientations of 7Li and 14N in ground and excited states as well as the prominent one- and two-step transfers were included in a channels-coupling-scheme. The 7Li + 14N optical potential parameters for ground and excited states of 7Li and 14N as well as deformation parameters of these nuclei were deduced. The contributions of one and two-step transfers in the 7Li + 14N elastic and inelastic scattering channels were estimated.

The new data of the angular distributions of 7Li(18O, 16N)9Be reaction were obtained for the transitions to the ground and excited states of 8Be and 17N at the energy Elab(18O) = 114 MeV. The angular distributions of the reaction were measured for the first time. Data were analyzed with coupled-reaction-channels method for one- and two-step transfers of nucleons and clusters. In the analysis, the 7Li + 18O potential deduced in the analysis of the elastic 7Li + 18Oscattering data as well as shell-model spectroscopic amplitudes of transferred nucleons and clusters were used. The parameters of the 9Be + 16N potential were deduced using the reaction data. The contributions of different one- and twostep transfers in the 7Li(18O, 16N)9Be reaction cross-section was studied.

New angular-distribution data of 14С + 18О elastic and inelastic scattering at the energy Elab(18O) = 105 MeV were obtained firstly. The data were analysed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels methods including contributions from most simple transfer reactions. The 14С + 18О potential parameters were deduced. Isotopic differenc-es of the 12, 13, 14С + 18О and 14С + 16, 18О potentials were investigated.

Angular distributions of the 7Li(18O, 17N)8Be reaction were measured for the transitions to the ground states of 8Be and 17N and excited states of 17N at the energy Elab(18O) = 114 MeV. The data were analyzed with coupled-reaction-channels method for one- and two-step transfers of nucleons and clusters. In the analysis, the 7Li + 18O potential de-duced in the analysis of the elastic 7Li + 18O-scattering data as well as shell-model spectroscopic amplitudes of trans-ferred nucleons and clusters were used. Parameters of the 8Be + 17N potential were deduced using the reaction data. Contributions of different one- and two-step transfers in the 7Li(18O, 17N)8Be reaction cross-section was studied.

New angular-distribution data of 13С + 18О elastic and inelastic scattering at the energy Elab(18O) = 105 MeV were obtained for the transitions to the ground and excited states 3.088 MeV(1/2+), 3.555 MeV (1/2-), 3.854 MeV (5/2+) of 13С and 1.982 MeV (2+), 3.555 MeV (4+), 3.921 MeV (2+), 4.456 MeV (1-), 5.098 MeV (3-), 5.260 MeV (2+) of 18O. These and the 13С + 18О elastic scattering data taken from the literature at the energies Elab(18O) = 15, 20, 24, 31 MeV and Elab(13С) = 24 MeV were analysed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels methods. Sets of 13С + 18О optical potential parameters and their energy dependence were obtained. Contributions of potential scattering and transfer reactions to the elastic and inelastic channels of 13С + 18О scattering were studied. Isotopic differences (effects) in 12, 13С + 16, 18О optical potential parameters were investigated.

Angular distributions of the 12C + 18O elastic and inelastic scattering were measured at the energy Elab(18O) = 105 MeV (Ec.m. = 42 MeV). These data and data known from the literature at the energies Ec.m. = 12.9 - 56 МеV were analysed within the optical model and coupled-reactionchannels method. The sets of the Woods-Saxon (12С + 18O)-potential parameters were deduced and their energy dependence was studied. It was found the isotopic differences in the (12С + 16O)- and (12С + 18O)-potentials parameters and in their surface forms. The mechanisms of elastic and inelastic (12С + 18O)-scattering and role of transfer reactions were studied.

Angular distributions of the 7Li(10B, 10Bе)7Bе reaction were measured at the energy Elab(10B) = 51 MeV for the transitions to the ground and excited states of 10Bе and 7Bе nuclei. The measured 7Li(10B, 10Bе)7Bе reaction data as well as only known from the literature 10B(7Li, 7Bе)10Bе reaction data at the energy Elab(7Li) = 39 MeV were analyzed within DWBA method for the direct charge-exchange of the 10B → 10Bе, 7Li → 7Bе nuclei and within the coupled-reactionchannels method for one- and two-step transfers of nucleons and clusters such as 10B → Х → 10Bе, 7Li → Y → 7Bе. It was studied the contributions of different mechanisms to the angular distribution of the 7Li(10B, 10Bе)7Bе and 10B(7Li, 7Bе)10Bе reactions. Using data of these reactions, the parameters of the 7Bе + 10Bе-potential as well as their energy dependence were deduced by standard fitting procedure. The deduced 7Bе + 10Bе-potential is compared with the corresponding folding-potential calculated using nucleon distributions in 7Bе and 10Bе.

Angular distributions of the 7Li(10B, 9Bе)8Bе were measured at the energy Elab(10B) = 51 MeV (21 MeV c.m.) for the ground and excited states of 8Bе. The experimental data were analyzed within the coupled-reaction-channels (CRC) method for one- and two-step transfers of nucleons and clusters. The 10B(7Li, 9Bе)8Bе reaction data at the energy Elab(7Li) = 24 MeV (14,12 MeV c.m.) known from the literature, were included in the CRC-analysis also. Mechanism of the reactions was determined, the parameters of the 8Bе + 9Bе-potential were deduced and energy dependence of the parameter was studied.

Angular distributions of the 7 Li + 10В elastic and inelastic scattering were measured at the energy Elab( 10B) = 51 MeV (21 MeV c.m.). These and previously measured 7 Li + 10В elastic scattering data known at the 7 Li-beam energies 24 MeV (14.1 MeV c.m.) and 39 MeV (22.94 MeV c.m.), were analyzed within the optical model and coupledreaction-channels method. Elastic and inelastic scattering of 7 Li + 10В, reorientation of 7 Li and 10В in ground and excited states as well as more important transfers were included in the coupling-channels scheme. The 7 Li + 10В potential parameters for the interaction of these nuclei in ground and excited states, parameter energy dependence as well as deformation parameters of 7 Li and 10В were deduced. Mechanism of the 7 Li + 10В scattering was obtained. Difference between scattering of 7 Li + 10В and 7 Li + 11В (scattering isotopic effects) was found.
