Generating electricity from renewable energy instead of fossil fuels brings great benefits to the environment and sustainable development. Thus, assessing the potential of wind and solar energy in agricultural coastal areas can identify sustainable energy solutions for meeting energy demand and producing fresh water for agricultural applications and domestic use. However, it is difficult to accurately assess the wind and solar energy potential in Libya due to the civil war, lack of measured data, and its limited availability. Consequently, this concise work is unique because it is the first to use daily measurement data from Az-Zāwiyah, Libya, for evaluating wind and solar energy based on one year of measured data for 2022. Moreover, the present study aims to investigate the potential of wind and solar energy as promising renewable sources for meeting energy demand in coastal agricultural regions in Libya using multiple datasets for the first time. In this paper, five satellite products (TerraClimate, ERA5, ERA5-Land, MERRA-2, and CFSR) were assessed and compared against measured data for January 2022–December 2022 to understand their suitability, accuracy, and reliability. The results showed that CFSR and ERA5-Land demonstrate the most favorable performance for assessing the wind resource, while all satellite products can be utilized for preliminary solar resource assessment. Then, the assessment of wind and solar resources was evaluated in five agricultural coastal regions (Aljmail, Az-Zāwiyah, Castelverde, Msallatah, and Sabratah) based on the best satellite product for the period of 2000–2022. Furthermore, the performance of the wind and solar power systems was investigated for typical farms, which were chosen to estimate the required energy demand according to daily electrical consumption. The results show that the positive outcomes of implementing these systems were highlighted, with an emphasis on their potential benefits to the entire Libyan agricultural sector. Accordingly, scaling up and generalizing the proposed systems and generalizing them to include all farms in Libya could have a significant impact on national electricity generation, mitigate greenhouse gases, and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and the country's economy. Climate change is a gradual process that occurs with changes to the natural climatic conditions. Climate change is a global phenomenon that poses a crucial challenge to the world, and it has been reported to be a difficult phenomenon for tracking on individual levels of experience, which is a very significant factor in adequate climate change mitigation; individual contributions of environmental sustainability. Individual level of climate change mitigation is a process that is only possible with adequate knowledge and perception of climate change. This study carries out an investigation into the perceptions of Libyans with respect to climate change, the causes of climate change, the impacts of climate change in Libya, and the methods they feel can be efficient in the mitigation of climate change in Libya. This study carried out an analysis of a survey interview of Libyans and has found all the interviewed individuals agree climate change is an important global and Libyan phenomenon. The aim of this study is to identify the environmental knowledge and the environmental awareness level of the university students. With this aim it is considered to compare the thoughts and the point of views between the international and domestic students' environmental knowledge about North Cyprus. The case study has been used as a design of the study with qualitative research method. This study was conducted with 42 students from a university in Northern Cyprus. The sample has been stated in two groups; the international students group that composed from 21 international students from different countries and the domestic students group that composed from 21 students from Northern Cyprus. The research data were collected through interviews. Content analysis was used as a data analysis technique. Research findings show in general that the international students have less environmental awareness from the domestic students. In the light of the answers of the students and the results of the study, it has been suggested that the basic solution for creating a good environmental consciousness is environmental education. Objective: The current research investigated attachment styles, psychological wellbeing, and academic development among children in transnational family arrangements in Zimbabwe. Methods: Purposive sampling was employed to select 57 children in transnational family arrangements and 41 children in conventional two-parent households aged between 8 and 14 years. Attachment Style Classification Questionnaire for latency-age children, Stirling Children's Well-being Scale, Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire, and Questionnaire for Evaluation of Development and Behavior were applied. Results: The results revealed that there were no significant differences in attachment styles, conduct problems, hyperactivity, and academic development between the transnational and conventional family groups. Social desirability and prosocial behavior were significantly lower in the transnational group. Children with both parents as migrants had significantly lower scores for psychological wellbeing and higher scores for emotional symptoms and literacy problems than children with one migrant parent or conventional families. Conclusion: There was no difference in attachment styles and academic development, which may be a reflection of the strength of the extended family in substituting parental care. However, children in transnational family arrangements scored poorly on the prosocial subscale of psychological wellbeing, which is associated with family cohesion. Parental migration negatively impacts family cohesion, especially when both parents migrate. When both parents migrate, the children exhibited emotional symptoms, literacy problems, poor prosocial behaviors, and poor psychological wellbeing because children receive reduced social support. This study reveals that a child's age at the parent's departure, family cohesion, and economic security are integral to ensuring the wellbeing of children in transnational family arrangements. In this research, the life satisfaction of adolescents who live in Northern Cyprus is examined. Demographic variables of adolescents have been taken into consideration while life satisfaction has been determined. The study has been completed in a way of scan pattern in accordance with quantitative method. The reachable universe of this study included the students attending 9, 10, 11, and 12th grade in the province of Kyrenia Northern Cyprus. The samples of research group included 436 students composed of 209 boys (%47,8) and 227 girls (%52,2). The data collection tools used during the research were, Personal Information Form which consists of demographic data and Multidimensional Life Satisfaction Scale. Multidimensional Life Satisfaction Scale consists of friend satisfaction, school satisfaction, environment satisfaction and self satisfaction sub-dimensions. The data has been analyzed with SPSS 20 package program. As a conclusion, within the sub-dimensions of the scale, friend satisfaction sub-dimension level of participants was found to be higher when compared to school, environment and self-satisfaction sub-dimension levels. Additionally, the life satisfaction points of 436 adolescents have shown a meaningful differentiation according to the school type, attended grades and education levels of mother and father. However, there has been no meaningfull differentiation regarding gender, age, number of siblings, the rank of birth, and the working status of mother and father. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
