İnsanın doğasında var olan geçmişe bağlı olma durumu, kişilerin alt belleğine inen duyumsamalarla var olmaktadır. Bireyler bu noktada geçmişten izler taşıyan somut bir nesne ile bağ kurma eğilimindedir. Retro mobilyalar da bu bağın kurulmasından önemli bir aracı görevi görmektedir. Retro mobilya farkındalık ve eğilim düzeyinin yaş ve cinsiyet değişkenleri açısından araştırılmasının amaçlandığı çalışma 251 katılımcı ile yürütülmüş olup, verilerin işlenmesi sırasında 11 anket formunun uygun doldurulmadığı tespit edilerek kapsam dışı bırakılmış ve 240 adet anket formu üzerinden analizler yapılmıştır. Belirlenen ana kütle Türkiye’de retro mobilya faaliyetleriyle etkileşimde olabilecek ve X, Y, Z kuşağını tanımlayan 18-60 yaş arası katılımcılar, yansız örneklem yöntemi ile çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Çalışmada yer alan ifadeler retro mobilya farkındalığı ve retro mobilya eğilimi olarak iki boyutta toplanmıştır. Her iki boyuta ait bazı betimleyici istatiksel değerlerde anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu görülmüştür. Katılımcılara ait cinsiyet değişkeni ile retro mobilya farkındalığı arasında anlamlı farklılıklar saptanmıştır ancak retro mobilya eğilimi arasında anlamlı farklılık saptanamamıştır. Bu bulgunun, retro mobilyaların tanıtım sürecinde hedeflenen kitlenin belirlenmesinde kaynak olarak değerlendirilebileceği düşünülmektedir. Kuşak tanımlarıyla X, Y ve Z olarak ifade edilen yaş gruplarına uygulanan analizlerde, yaş değişkeni ile retro mobilya eğilimleri arasında anlamlı farklılıklar saptanırken, retro mobilya farkındalığı arasında anlamlı fark olmadığı görülmüştür. Bu bulgular ışığında yaş değişkeninin retro mobilyalara ilişkin eğilimleri etkilediği ancak farkındalık düzeyini etkilemediği yorumu yapılabilmektedir.

This study aimed to evaluate infrazygomatic crest (IZC) miniscrews, which represent a new approach to maxillary posterior tooth intrusion and extra-alveolar skeletal anchorage, using 3-dimensional finite element stress analysis to predict the clinical usability instead of zygoma plates.Six different models were developed. The direction of the intrusion force was generated parallel to the maxillary first molar, and the posterior bite-block intrusion appliance was connected with 2 steel arches. A zygoma plate, stainless steel (SS)-IZC miniscrew, and a titanium alloy (TiA)-IZC miniscrew were used as anchorage units, and 200 g and 400 g of intrusion forces were applied. The cortical bone, spongious bone, stress values, and displacements in the anchorage unit were examined. The anchored materials were considered nonosseointegrated.Zygoma plates formed low-stress values under 200 g and 400 g of force. The greatest stress and displacement occurred in the first miniscrew that fixed the plate. SS-IZC miniscrews gave lower stress and displacement values than TiA-IZC miniscrews. The most stress was detected inferior to the screw-to-bone contact in IZC miniscrews.Considering the initial value of resorption in cortical bone, it is predicted that SS-IZC and TiA-IZC miniscrews can be used in the clinic under 200 g of intrusion force, although there is not as little stress and displacement as for zygoma plates. Under 400 g of intrusion force, clinical use cannot be recommended because of the critical stress value they generate in the cortical bone.

This study primarily investigates gifted children's and their mothers' acceptance-rejection and control perceptions and children's achievement motivation. The study was carried out with 5th and 6th year students attending Science and Art Centers in two cities in Turkey, and their mothers. The sample of this research is 226 students (103 girls and 126 boys) and 179 mothers. As data collection tools, Turkish Parent Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire/Control: Child (Short Form), Child Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire/Control: Mother (Short Form), and Scale of Motivation in Education were used. The results of the study showed that children and mothers perceived high level acceptance, low level rejection and mid-level control in their mother-child relationships. A significant difference was observed between mothers' and children's perceived parental acceptance-rejection and control. It was also seen that children's identified external motivation and intrinsic motivation levels were high and amotivation and introjected external motivation levels were low.

Afetler ortaya çıktığı tarihten itibaren çok sayıda can ve mal kaybına, medeniyetlerin yok olmasına ve kitlesel göçlere neden olmuştur. Engellilik olgusu, engelli bireyin etkileşim içerisinde bulunduğu sosyal grupların farkındalığı oranında içselleştirilebilmektedir. Toplum içinde engelli bireyler yoksulluk, eğitim, rehabilitasyon, ulaşım, fiziksel çevre ve konut, erişilebilirlik/ulaşılabilirlik alanında sorun yaşamaktadır. Bu çalışmada afetlerin engelli bireyler üzerindeki etkisinin ele alınması amaçlanmaktadır. Afet öncesi yaşadığı toplumda herhangi bir zorlukla karşılaşmadan hayatını devam ettiren bir engelli birey afet nedeniyle var olan çevresel ve toplumsal düzenin bozulması sonucu hareket kısıtlılığı, erişim gibi sorunlarla karşılaşarak dezavantajlı duruma düşebilir. Afet öncesi sosyal hayatta damgalanan bireyler afet yönetim süreçlerinde göz ardı edilerek süreçlere dâhil olamayabilir. Afet öncesi planlama ve risk azaltma sürelerinde dikkate alınmayan ve paydaş olarak sürece katılmayan engelli bireyler afet durumlarında daha büyük sorunlar yaşamaktadır. Engelli bireyler afet öncesi sırası ve sonrasında birçok zorlukla karşılaşmaktadırlar. Engelli bireylerin karşılaşabileceği zorluklar; aile, arkadaş, bakım hizmeti veren birey gibi destek ağlarının bozulması, hareketliliğe yardımcı olan tekerlekli sandalye, protez, ortez gibi cihazların hasarı ya da kaybı, acil durum toplanma/barınma yerlerine ve erken uyarı veya genel uyarı mesajlarına erişimdeki zorluklar olarak sıralanabilir. Sonuç olarak afetlerde toplumun etkilenme biçimi, şiddeti ve etkiye verebildikleri yanıtlar farklı olmakla birlikte en fazla etkilenecek dezavantajlı gruplar engellilerdir. Engellilerin afetlerden etkilenme durumunda etkilenme düzeylerinde bireysel farklılıklar görülebilir. Engel durumuna göre oluşacak bu farklılar için engelli bireylere görüş sorulmalı ve ihtiyaç analizi yapılmalıdır. Özellikle afet eylem planı çalışmalarında engelli bireylerin hazırlıkların bir parçası olması sağlanmalıdır.

Otizmli bireylerin toplum içindeki yerini anlamak için öncelikle toplumun otizme yönelik tutum ve bakış açısının açığa çıkarmak önem taşımaktadır. Toplum içinde otizmli bireyler sosyal iletişimde yaşadıkları sorunlar ve stereotipik hareketleri nedeni ile etiketlenme ve damgalamaya maruz kalabilmektedir. Toplumun olumsuz tutum ve davranışları ile sosyal hayat otizmli birey ve aileleri için zorluk oluşturabilmektedir. Toplumun otizmli birey ve aileye yönelik olumsuz tutum ve davranışları sonucunda, aile üyeleri toplumdan soyutlanarak yaşar hale gelmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı toplumun otizme bakış açısını çeşitli değişkenler aracılığı ile incelemektir. Bu araştırma, nicel metot ile ilişkisel tarama türünde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, Otizm Spektrum Bozukluğuna Yönelik Toplumsal Tutumlar Ölçeği (OYTTÖ), Damgalama Ölçeği, Hoşgörü Ölçeği ve sosyo-demografik bilgileri belirlemek amacıyla hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri online ortamda elde edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre otizm spektrum bozukluğuna yönelik toplumsal tutum ile hoşgörü arasında negatif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Dışlanma alt ölçekleri olan ayrımcılık, etiketleme, psikolojik sağlık ile otizm spektrum bozukluğuna yönelik toplumsal tutum arasında pozitif yönlü ilişki tespit edilmiş; önyargı ile otizm spektrum bozukluğuna yönelik toplumsal tutum arasında herhangi bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Kadın ve erkek olma durumu ile otizm spektrum bozukluğuna yönelik toplumsal tutum arasında bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Yapılacak çalışmalarda farkındalığın otizmin en yakın çevresinden başlayarak topluma doğru genişletilmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır.

When we analyze the development of electronic dance music (EDM), which comes from an underground culture, we can say that it has become mainstream in recent years owing to festivals. Despite its late recognition in Turkey, EDM has managed to constitute an active audience over time through Disc Jockeys and producers. It entered our country in the 1990s via radio broadcasts, and has grown and developed through the increasing number of parties and festivals in recent years. In this paper, in the fieldwork carried out in electronic dance music festivals, the explicandum and experiences of the audience and the data obtained on the phenomenon of festival and DJing will be explained within the framework of the concept of carnivalesque. Ethnographic data were obtained from EDM festivals held in İzmir and İstanbul through observation, participant observation and interview. Carnivals, from ancient times to the present day, go beyond being simple entertainment celebrations and symbolize a more collective situation. Medieval carnival understanding, which Bahtin analyzed in his Rebelais and His World, has many aspects similar to today's EDM festivals. Festivals can be considered as pre-modern carnivals as a performance space and counterculture which enables the audience to escape from social life. In this paper, some differences along with the situations in which carnivalesque behavior such as laughing and freedom gain visibility are discussed. The traces of the carnivals which are a medieval tradition, also seen formally in today's EDM festivals. Despite the political and economic effects, these festivals maintain a counterculture and an upside-down state of world.

Bir metnin okuyucusu tarafından anlaşılabilir olması önemlidir. Metinlerin daha kolay anlaşılabilmesi için okunabilirliğinin okuyucunun düzeyine uygun olması gereklidir. Okunabilirlik kavramı, eğitim açısından ele alındığında, öğrencilerin düzeyine uygun öğretim materyalleri hazırlamaya katkı sağlaması bakımından önemli bir unsurdur. Örneğin öğrencinin düzeyine uygun bir metin ile öğrencinin ilgisi daha kolay yakalanır ve daha iyi bir öğrenme gerçekleşebilir. Bu yüzden ilkokul Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin öğrencilerin düzeyine uygun olup olmadığının belirlenmesi öğretim hedeflerinin gerçekleşmesi için büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada ilkokulda okutulan 1. sınıftan 4.sınıfa kadar olan çeşitli yayınevlerine ait on iki Türkçe ders kitabının okunabilirliğinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bunun için Ateşman tarafından geliştirilen okunabilirlik formülü kullanılmıştır. Çeşitli yayınevlerine ait MEB onaylı on iki Türkçe ders kitabından alınan metinlerin okunabilirliği bu formüle göre hesaplanmıştır. Bütün kitaplardaki metinlerin okunabilirliği ayrı ayrı listelenerek aritmetik ortalaması alınmış ve on iki kitabın okunabilirliği ayrı ayrı ortaya konmuştur. Okunabilirliği hesaplanan MEB onaylı Türkçe ders kitapları okunabilirlik düzeyleri bakımından birbirleri ile kıyaslanarak, sınıf düzeyine ve yayınevine göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Bulgulara göre aynı sınıf düzeyindeki kitapların okunabilirlik puanları ve düzeyleri arasında büyük bir farklılık görülmemiştir. Sınıf seviyesi arttıkça metinlerin okunabilirlik düzeyi zorlaşmakta ve sınıf seviyesi düştükçe metinlerin okunabilirlik düzeyi kolaylaşmaktadır. Ancak aynı yayınevine ait farklı sınıf seviyelerindeki kitaplarda bu tutarlılık söz konusu değildir.

Bu çalışmada ailelere yönelik gerçekleştirilen sosyal hizmet uygulamalarında ailelerin dayanıklılığına etki eden faktörlerin ele alınması amaçlanmaktadır. Aileler ile gerçekleştirilen sosyal hizmet uygulamalarında, ailenin yapısı, aile üyelerinin biyo-psiko-sosyo-kültürel bağlamları içinde yaşadıkları çevre göz önünde bulundurularak değerlendirilmektedir. Sosyal hizmet uygulaması, her bir aile üyesinin beklentileri, gereksinimleri ve problemlerini açığa çıkararak, ailenin sağlıklı bir aile ortamı oluşturmasına yardım etmeyi içermektedir. Aile dayanıklılığı yaklaşımı, ailenin güçlü yönlerine ve potansiyeline odaklanmakta ve aile üyelerini destekleyici bir ekip çalışması ile yaşanan olumsuz etkileri azaltmayı ve aile gelişimini desteklemeyi vurgulamaktadır. Aile dayanıklılığında, ailelerin yaşadığı zorlu süreçlere karşı koyma, baş etme, yeniden toparlanma gücü ve yeteneğinin olduğu ileri sürülmektedir. Ailelere yönelik gerçekleştirilen sosyal hizmet uygulamalarının temeli aile içinde yaşanan zorluk durumunun belirlenmesi, aile ilişkilerinin ortaya çıkarılması, ailelerin güçlü ve güçsüz yönlerinin fark edilmesi kısacası aileyi harekete geçirmedir. Böylece ailelerin yaşanan zorluk durumu ile baş etmesi mümkün olacaktır. Bu bağlamda gerçekleştirilen sosyal hizmet uygulamalarında kullanılan aile dayanıklılığında; ailenin inanç sistemleri, pozitif bakış açıları, birbirlerine karşı esnek olmaları, karşılıklı destek ve iş birliği içinde olmaları, kaynakları harekete geçirecek güçte olmaları, açık ve tutarlı iletiler ile ortak sorun çözme becerilerinin gelişmiş olmasının etkili olduğu açığa çıkarılmıştır. Ailelerin bu beceriler sayesinde dayanıklılıklarının artması öngörülmektedir. Gelecek çalışmalarda ailelerin yaşanan zorlukların üstesinden gelmesi ve dayanıklılığını arttırması için diğer sistem ve kaynaklarla olan ilişkilerinin ele alınması önerilmektedir., In this study, it is aimed to address the factors affecting the resilience of families in social work practices for families. In social work practices carried out with families, family structure, bio-psycho-socio-cultural contexts of family members is evaluated by considering the environment in which they live. Social work practice includes helping the family to create a healthy family environment by revealing the expectations, needs and problems of each family member. The family resilience approach focuses on the strengths and potential of the family and emphasizes reducing the negative effects experienced and supporting family development with a supportive teamwork for family members. It has been suggested that family resilience has the power and ability to resist, cope with the difficult processes experienced by families, and to recover again. The basis of social work practices for families is determining the difficulties experienced in the family, revealing family relations, recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of families, in short, mobilizing the family. Thus, it will be possible for families to cope with the difficult situation. In family resilience used in social work practices in this context; It has been revealed that the belief systems of the family, their positive perspective, being flexible towards each other, being mutually supportive and cooperative, strong enough to mobilize resources, developed common problem-solving skills with clear and consistent messages have been revealed. Through these skills, families are expected to increase their resilience. In future studies, it is recommended that families' relationships with other systems and resources should be addressed in order to overcome difficulties and increase their resilience.

The integration of the social structure and technical structure of office organizations is one of the key issues of today's business life. It is also important that the employee works in the office in a healthy, efficient, willing, and appropriate manner. Ergonomics is defined as the process of adapting people and their environment to each other physically and psychologically, as the most comfortable way to use human skills without forcing them physically and spiritually. In today's modern world, most office workers face a variety of problems in terms of the environmental and physical conditions of their work environment. This adversely affects the health and mental health of employees and their work productivity. It is necessary to organize office spaces where the employee is prevented from being inadequate in the face of developing technology, machinery and operating systems and is ergonomically considered healthy. All these arrangements must be made with the human anthropometric measurements, anatomical structure, physiological capacity, and tolerances in mind. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of office ergonomics on business efficiency by addressing the importance of ergonomics science. In this objective, the health and work efficiency of the employees in the perspective of the components that make up the workplace have been analyzed. The study found that factors such as illumination system, sound and noise control, air conditioning system, vehicle-equipment compatibility and color preference have significant impact on employees in the working environment, Ofis organizasyonlarının sosyal yapısı ile teknik yapısının bütünleştirilmesi, günümüz iş hayatının önemli konularından birini oluşturmakta olup çalışanın sağlıklı, verimli, istekli ve işiyle uyumlu çalışabilmesi için oldukça önemlidir. Ergonomi, insan ve bulunduğu çevrenin fiziksel ve psikolojik açıdan birbirleri ile uyumlandırılması, insanın bedensel ve ruhsal yönden zorlamadan yeteneklerini en rahat şekilde kullanabilme süreci olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Günümüz modern dünyasında ofis çalışanlarının çoğu çalışma ortamının çevresel ve fiziksel koşulları açısından çeşitli problemlerle karşılaşmakta ve bu durum çalışanların beden ve ruh sağlığı ile iş verimliliklerini olumsuz etkilemektedir. Günümüzde, teknolojik alanda yaşanan değişim ve gelişim çalışan bireylerin hem bedensel ve hem de düşünsel yeteneklerini zorlamaktadır. Çalışanın gelişen teknoloji, makineler ve çalışma sistemleri karşısında yetersiz kalmasının önlendiği ve ergonomik açıdan sağlığının düşünüldüğü ofis mekânlarının düzenlenmesi gerekmektedir. Tüm bu düzenlemeler insanın antropometrik ölçüleri, anatomik yapısı, fizyolojik kapasitesi ve toleransları göz önünde bulundurularak yapılmalıdır. Ergonominin temel fonksiyonu olan çalışanın iş yerinde verimli, sağlıklı ve güvenli çalışabilmeleri için gerekli iş organizasyonunun insan özelliklerine uygun olarak düzenlenmesi sağlanarak; çalışan sağlığı ve iş güvenliği koşulları iyileştirilmeli, fizyolojik ve psikolojik açıdan çalışma performansı artırılmalıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ergonomi biliminin önemine değinilerek ofis ergonomisinin iş verimine etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda çalışma mekânını oluşturan bileşenler perspektifinde çalışan sağlığı ve iş verimi analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda çalışma çevrelerinde aydınlatma sistemi, ses ve gürültü denetimi, iklimlendirme sistemi, araç-gereç uyumu ve renk tercihi gibi faktörlerin çalışanlar üzerinde önemli etkileri olduğu görülmüştür.

Financiado para publicación en acceso aberto: Universidade da Coruña/CISUG [Abstract] The capability of four genetically modified Acetobacterium woodii strains for improved production of acetone from CO2 and hydrogen was tested. The acetone biosynthesis pathway was constructed by combining genes from Clostridium acetobutylicum and Clostridium aceticum. Expression of acetone production genes was demonstrated in all strains. In bioreactors with continuous gas supply, all produced acetic acid, acetone, and, surprisingly, isopropanol. The production of isopropanol was caused by an endogenous secondary alcohol dehydrogenase (SADH) activity at low gas-feeding rate. Although high amounts of the natural end product acetic acid of A. woodii were formed,14.5 mM isopropanol and 7.6 mM acetone were also detected, showing that this is a promising approach for the production of new solvents from C1 gases. The highest acetic acid, acetone, and isopropanol production was detected in the recombinant A. woodii [pJIR750_ac1t1] strain, with final concentrations of 438 mM acetic acid, 7.6 mM acetone, and 14.5 mM isopropanol. The engineered strain A. woodii [pJIR750_ac1t1] was found to be the most promising strain for acetone production from a gas mixture of CO2 and H2 and the formation of isopropanol in A. woodii was shown for the first time. Amaç: İnönü Üniversitesi’nde eğitim gören öğrencilerin marka tercihlerinde tüketici kişiliğinin marka kişilik algısı üzerinde etkisinin olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Ayrıca demografik özelliklere bağlı olarak marka kişiliği ve tüketici kişiliği algısının farklılık gösterip göstermediği de tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Nicel yöntemin kullanıldığı araştırmada, veriler anket ile toplanmıştır. 264 öğrencinin katılımıyla toplanan veriler, SPSS paket programında değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada öncelikli olarak marka kişiliği ve tüketici kişiliği boyutları ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Marka kişiliği boyutları sırasıyla “Coşku ve Ustalık”, “Geleneksellik ve Samimiyet”, “Çok yönlülük” ve “Sertlik” olarak belirlenmiştir. Tüketici kişiliği boyutları ise “Samimiyet ve Ustalık”, “Çok yönlülük”, “Geleneksellik” ve “Coşku ve Sertlik” olarak belirlenmiştir. Bulgular ve Sonuç: Öğrencilerin tercih etmiş oldukları markaların kişiliğinin ve kendi kişiliklerinin demografik özelliklere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek amacıyla yapılan T ve ANOVA testleri sonucunda farklılıklar ortaya çıkmıştır. Tüketici kişiliğinin marka kişilik algısı üzerindeki etkisini belirlemek için korelasyon ve çoklu regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Korelasyon analizi ile öncelikle marka kişiliği ile tüketici kişiliği arasında pozitif yönlü ilişkinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonrasında, çoklu regresyon analizi ile marka tercihinde çeşitli tüketici kişilik alt boyutlarının marka kişilik algısı boyutları üzerinde etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir., Objective: To determine whether consumer personality has an effect on brand personality perception in the brand preferences of students studying at Inonu University. In addition, it was tried to determine whether brand personality and consumer personality perception differ depending on demographic characteristics. Materials and Methods: In the study, in which the quantitative method was used, the data were collected with a questionnaire. The data collected with the participation of 264 students were evaluated in the SPSS package program. In the research, primarily the dimensions of brand personality and consumer personality were tried to be revealed. Brand personality dimensions were determined as "Enthusiasm and Mastery", "Tradition and Sincerity", "Versatility" and "Hardness", respectively. Consumer personality dimensions were determined as "Sincerity and Mastery", "Versatility", "Tradition" and "Enthusiasm and Toughness". Findings and Results: As a result of the T and ANOVA tests, which were conducted to determine whether the personality of the brands preferred by the students and their own personalities differ according to demographic characteristics, differences emerged. Correlation and multiple regression analyzes were performed to determine the effect of consumer personality on brand personality perception. With the correlation analysis, first of all, it was determined that there is a positive relationship between brand personality and consumer personality. Afterwards, with multiple regression analysis, it was determined that various consumer personality sub-dimensions in brand preference had an effect on brand personality perception dimensions.

The influence of the carbon source on the metabolism and growth of Clostridium aceticum was investigated, supplying either CO or fructose as sole carbon source. The acid and solvent production patterns were determined under either autotrophic or heterotrophic conditions, elucidating the effect of pH on the substrate's bioconversion pattern. The highest maximum specific growth rate was observed with CO, under the organism's optimal growth conditions, reaching 0.052 h

This study aims to understand the coping strategies, depression levels, sociodemographic characteristics of Turkish patients with hemodialysis, and the other factors explain quality of life levels. This research is a cross-sectional study. The convenience sampling consisted of 292 patients with hemodialysis. The data were collected using the brief COPE, QOL, Beck Depression Inventory and sociodemographic form. According to the research results, patients show mild (score range 10-16) depression symptoms. One of the most important findings of this study is that the coping strategies and level of depression with chronic kidney patients accounted for a significant amount of variance in their quality of life. The relationship between emotion-focused coping strategy and quality of life was not statistically significant. In addition, high level of depression in chronic renal failure patients significantly reduce the quality of life. As a result of the study, the relationship between the high quality of life of patients who use problem-focused coping strategy more intensively and patients with low depression levels was determined. The findings point to the importance of taking individual coping strategies into account when evaluating the impact of a disease on psychosocial wellbeing. Delineation of coping strategies might be useful for identifying patients in need of particular counseling and support. These patients should have frequent contact with a multidisciplinary team of health care givers, possibly allowing for early diagnosis and prompt treatment. Results suggest targeted interventions to stimulate future research regarding the psychological care of patients with chronic kidney disease.

This chapter aims to determine the effect of the Covid-19 epidemic period on individuals' healthy lifestyle behaviors and quality of life. This study was conducted with 370 individuals selected by simple random sampling using a survey technique. The data of the research was collected by questionnaire form. The ‘Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale II' validity and reliability studies of which were conducted by Bahar et al. (2008), and the ‘Quality of Life Scale Short Form' adapted by Eser et al. (1999) were used the measure healthy lifestyle behaviors and quality of life of individuals. The Mann-Whitney U (MWU) and Kruskal-Wallis (KW) tests were used. According to the results, quality of life and healthy life behaviors of the individuals participating in the study were above average. To prevent the adverse situations that may arise in individuals' healthy lifestyles and quality of life, it can be ensured that leisure activities are rearranged according to the existing conditions and individuals' awareness of this is increased.

Bu makalenin amaci bilgisayar destekli matematik ogretimi ile ilgili yapilmis tezlerin sistematik bir incelemesini yapmak bir icerik analizi sunmaktir. Bu amac dogrultusunda, Turkiye'de 1988 ve 2016 yillari arasinda tamamlanan toplam 79 tez icerik analizi surecine dâhil edilmistir. Tezler, yayin yili, tur, universite, kurum, arastirma modeli ve tasarimi, orneklem buyuklugu ve seviyesi, sayfanin numarasi gibi bazi degiskenlere gore incelenmistir. Icerik analizine ait sonuclar, frekans ve yuzde oranlari iceren tablolarla sunulmustur. Arastirma sonucunda, tezlerin cogunlugunun 2008 yilindan sonra, Turkce olarak ve egitim bilimleri enstitulerinde yuksek lisans tezi olarak sunuldugu gorulmustur. Ayrica arastirma yontemi ve arastirma deseni olarak, nicel yontem ve deneysel desen en sik basvurulan yontem ve desen olmustur. Katilimcilarin cogunun ortaokul ogrencileri oldugu ve basari testinin de en yaygin kullanilan veri toplama araci oldugu sonucuna ulasilmistir. Arastirmadan elde edilen sonuclarin, gelecekte yeni arastirmalar icin Turkiye'deki matematik egitimcileri ve arastirmacilar icin bir rehberlik saglayacagi umulmaktadir. Elde edilen bu sonuclara gore, matematik egitimcileri ve arastirmacilar icin bazi onerilerde bulunulmustur. Arastirma egilimlerinin izlenmesi ve gozden gecirilmesine yonelik benzer icerik analizi calismalarinin Turkiye'de her bes yilda bir tekrarlanmasi ozellikle onerilmektedir.

This study is intended to investigate the subject of adsorption to the pre-service science teachers within the curriculum of chemistry course by means of instrumental analysis. The adsorption of porous materials in colourful solutions was investigated in terms of spectroscopy techniques. Then, the images and data obtained by SEM were used to increase the permanency of the learning and eliminate the potential conceptual fallacies. The study employed purposeful sampling. As data collection instruments Sciences Academic Achievement Test and observations were used in the present study. The academic achievement test developed by the researcher based on the experimental activities conducted during the application process of the study was administered as pre- test, post-test and recall-test. The data collected through pre-test, post-test and delayed recall test were analysed through SPSS 20,00 Program Package by using t-test. By considering the fact that the sampling of the study consists of pre-service science teachers and they will be practicing teachers after a while, it was observed that their skills required to design science experiments, predict the stages and outcomes of the experiment are not adequate. Presentation of experimental activities in the form of display experiments resulted in a significant difference between the pre-test and post- test results and this shows that there is an increase in the information level of the participants. The fact that greater similarity observed between the students’ post-test drawings of the surface structure of the matter adsorbing and its real structure when compared to their pre-test drawings shows that the application is successful.

Bu derlemede, ilaç keşif sürecini hızlandırmak için ortaya çıkan yapay zekâ uygulamaları ele alınmıştır., Objective: It is aimed to reveal the place and importance of Artificial Intelligence, also known as machine intelligence, in drug discovery and development.Result and Discussion: The drug discovery and development stages are among the most important science activities contributing to human health and well-being. However, the development of a new drug is a complex, expensive, and lengthy process. How to reduce costs and accelerate the discovery of new drugs has become a challenging and urgent question in the industry. The combination of artificial intelligence (AI) with new experimental technologies is expected to make the search for new drugs faster, cheaper and more effective. In this review, emerging artificial intelligence applications to speed up the drug discovery process are discussed.

Laboratory studies are used not only to teach the subjects in the schedule, but also to determine the additives in food products. There are many food products the sales of which are forbidden in school canteens. It is necessary that the reason why the sale of such products are forbidden be learned first by the teachers and then be conveyed to the students. Because such additives are used in small amounts, they can only be detected by instrumental analysis methods. With a spectrophotometer, which is one of the most common and practical tools, a number of analysis can be carried out easily. In this study, what is aimed at is to show the existence of carmine, which is obtained from insect extract, in a number of food products, such as red jams, black cherry juice and cola and in cosmetic products, such as red blush and lipstick through the use of spectrophotometer. Hereby, it is aimed to make prospective teachers wonder the ingredients of the products they use in their everyday lives and become conscious consumers as well as enlightening their students in the prospective schools they will be employed about this subject matter. Günümüzde artan rekabet koşullarında şirketler, kendi markalarına bağlı, sadık kullanıcılar yaratma hedefiyle benimsemiş oldukları felsefeyi kullanıcıya aktararak bir marka duygusu ve kullanıcı sadakati oluşmasını amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda tasarlanacak olan mağazanın atmosferi, nitelikli bir satış çevresi oluştururken göz önünde bulundurulması gereken önemli etmenlerden biridir. Bu araştırmada 1976 yılında ABD’de kurulan ve günümüzde küresel çapta tanınırlığa ulaşan Apple şirketinin mağazaları, mekân tasarımı kapsamında aydınlatma, cephe, malzeme, donatı ve kurgu gibi öğelere değinilerek analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma evrenini Amerika, Orta Doğu ve Avrupa’da yer alan üç Apple mağazası oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda Fifth Avenue (New York/ABD), Dubai Mall (Dubai/BAE) ve London Regent Street (Londra/İngiltere) mağazalarının mekân tasarım kararları irdelenmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde üç farklı kıtada yer alan mağazalara ait mekân tasarımlarının hem ortak hem de farklı unsurlar barındırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Mekân tasarımında metalik gri renkler, doğal dokulu ahşap ve cam malzeme ile canlı bitkilerin kullanımı, üç ülkedeki mağazada da ortak kullanılan unsurlardır. Ülkelerdeki doğal ve beşerî koşullar (iklim, güneşlenme süresi, mağazanın bulunduğu konuma bağlı olarak bölgenin kültürel değerleri ve mimari anlayışı) mağazalarda farklı tasarım anlayışının tercih edilmesine neden olmuştur. Genel anlamda doğallığı ve yalınlığı ilke edinen bir marka olarak doğal renk ve malzemelerin tercih edilmesi, gün ışığından maksimum düzeyde yararlanılması üç mağaza için de söz konusu olmuştur. Today, under increasing competitive conditions, companies aim to create loyal users connected to their own brands. For this purpose, they transmit the philosophy they have adopted to the user, creating a sense of brand and user loyalty. The atmosphere of the store, which will be designed for this purpose, is one of the key factors to be considered while creating a qualified sales place. In this research, the stores of Apple, founded in the USA in 1976, were examined within the scope of space and illumination design. The scope of research consists of Apple stores in the United States, Middle East, and Europe. In this context, the space design and illumination design of Fifth Avenue Store (New York/USA), Dubai Mall Store (Dubai/United Arab Emirates) and London Regent Street Store (London/UK) were examined. As a result of the research, store space designs in different regions were found to contain both common and different elements. Metallic gray colors, natural-textured wood and glass material and the use of plants in interior design are common elements in the stores in all three countries. Natural and general conditions in countries (climate, sunbathing time, the building where the store is located and the architectural style of the region) have led to different design elements being preferred in stores. As a brand that adopts naturalism and simplicity as a principle in general, it is common for all three stores to prefer natural colors, materials and maximizing daylight.
