Circular microRNAs (miRNAs) have become central in pathophysiological conditions of atherosclerosis (AS). However, the biomarkers for diagnosis and therapeutics against AS are still unclear. The atherosclerosis models in low-density lipoprotein receptor deficiency (LDLr-/-) mice were established with a high-fat diet (HFD). The extraction kit isolated extracellular vesicles from plasma. Total RNAs were extracted from LDLr-/- mice in plasma extracellular vesicles. Significantly varying miRNAs were detected by employing Illumina HiSeq 2000 deep sequencing technology. Target gene predictions of miRNAs were employed by related software that include RNAhybrid, TargetScan, miRanda, and PITA. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) further analyzed the intersection points of predicted results. The results showed that the HFD group gradually formed atherosclerotic plaques in thoracic aorta compared with the control group. Out of 17, 8 upregulated and 9 downregulated miRNAs with a significant difference were found in the plasma extracellular vesicles that were further cross-examined by sequencing and bioinformatics analysis. Focal adhesion and Ras signaling pathway were found to be the most closely related pathways through GO and KEGG pathway analyses. The 8 most differentially expressed up- and downregulated miRNAs were further ascertained by TaqMan-based qRT-PCR. TaqMan-based qRT-PCR and in situ hybridization further validated the most differentially expressed miRNAs (miR-378d, miR-181b-5p, miR-146a-5p, miR-421-3p, miR-350-3p, and miR-184-3p) that were consistent with deep sequencing analysis suggesting a promising potential of utility to serve as diagnostic biomarkers against AS. The study gives a comprehensive profile of circular miRNAs in atherosclerosis and may pave the way for identifying biomarkers and novel targets for atherosclerosis.

Primary urethral non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) is uncommon. This case study reports the case of a 52-year-old woman with a light red mass at the urethral orifice. Her clinical manifestations included frequent urination, urgency, dysuria, and occasionally blood in urine. The tumor was surgically removed, and the pathological and immunohistochemistry examination confirmed the presence of a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Examination using positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) revealed multiple hypermetabolic lymph nodes next to the external iliac vessels and bilateral inguinal regions, and focal hypermetabolic lesions in the vulvar nodules (consistent with the changes caused by lymphoma infiltration). Eight cycles of chemotherapy with rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and dexamethasone (R-CHOP) were prescribed after surgery. Re-examination using PET/CT showed lack of hypermetabolic tumor recurrence signs, and the presence of multiple slightly large lymph nodes in the lateral iliac vessels and inguinal regions, but without significant lymph node metabolism increases. To date, only fifteen cases of primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the urethra (including this one) have been reported in the literature. Therefore, we reviewed the etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of DLBCL based on the existing literature to help characterize this rare disease.

The objective of this study is to reveal the dysregulated lncRNAs in OS plasma exosomes and explore their functions in OS.Materials and Methods: Microarray was performed to analyze dysregulated exosomal lncRNAs. Western blot, qRT-PCR assays, and Dual-luciferase reporter assay were used to verify the interaction among cancer susceptibility 15 (CASC15), miR-338-3p, and RAB14. Cck-8, colony formation assay, and transwell assay were performed to explore and characterize the effects of CASC15 on OS cells. Animal experiments were used to verify the effects of CASC15 in vivo.Results: Upregulated CASC15 was observed in OS plasma exosomes compared with control, and the same expression was observed in the OS tissues and cell lines. Further assays indicated that CASC15 knockdown could restrain the proliferation, migration, and invasion of OS cells, and inhibit the growth of OS in xenograft models. Furthermore, our results demonstrated CASC15 regulated OS progression via acting as miR-338-3p sponge, and RAB14 was a direct downstream target of miR-338-3p. Rescue experiments verified CASC15 promotes OS cell growth and metastasis by upregulating RAB14 expression.Conclusion: Overall, our findings indicate that CASC15 plays a key role in OS progression by targeting the miR-338-3p/RAB14 axis and can serve as a possible therapeutic target for OS patients.Keywords: bone tumor, exosome, lncRNA, CASC15, miR-338-3p

Leptospirillum ferriphilum YSK was added to a native consortium of bioleaching bacteria including Acidithiobacillus caldus, A. thiooxidans, A. ferrooxidans, Sulfobacillus thermosulfidooxidans, Acidiphilium spp., and Ferroplasma thermophilum cultured in modified 9K medium containing 0.5% (W/V) pyrite. The bioleaching efficiency markedly increased. Changes in community structure and gene expression were monitored with real-time PCR and functional gene arrays. Dynamic changes that varied in different populations in the consortium occurred after the addition of L. ferriphilum YSK, with growth of A. caldus S1, A. thiooxidans A01, Acidiphillum spp. DX1-1 promoted the growth of Ferroplasma L1, inhibited that of S. thermosulfidooxidans ST, and exerted little effect on that of A. ferrooxidans CMS. Genes encoding ADP heptose, phosphoheptose isomerase, glycosyltransferase, biotin carboxylase, and protoheme ferrolyase from L. ferriphilum, acetyl-CoA carboxylase from Acidiphillum spp., and doxD from A. caldus were up-regulated in 0–20 h. Genes encoding lipid A disaccharide synthase LpxB, glycosyl transferase, and ADP heptose synthase from A. ferrooxidans were up-regulated in 0–8 h and then down-regulated in 8–20 h. Genes encoding ferredoxin oxidoreductase from Ferroplasma sp. were up-regulated in 0–4 h, down-regulated in 4–16 h, and again up-regulated in 16–20 h. CbbS from A. ferrooxidans was down-regulated in 0–20 h.

BACKGROUND: The efficient utilization of fiber-rich co-products is important for optimizing feed resource utilization and animal health. This study was conducted to evaluate the fermentation characteristics of fiber-rich co-products, which had equal quantities of total dietary fiber (TDF), at different time points using batch in vitro methods. It considered their gas production, short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) production, and microbial composition. RESULTS: The fermentation of wheat bran (WB) and oat bran (OB) showed higher and faster (P < 0.05) gas and SCFA production than corn bran (CB), sugar beet pulp (SBP), and soybean hulls (SH). The α-diversity was higher in the CB, SBP, and SH groups than in the WB and OB groups (P < 0.05). At the phylum level, OB and WB fermentation showed lower (P < 0.05) relative abundance of Actinobacteria than the CB, SBP, and SH groups. At the genus level, OB and WB fermentation increased the Enterococcus population in comparison with the CB, SBP, and SH groups, whereas CB and SBP fermentation improved the relative abundance of the Christensenellaceae R-7 group more than the WB, OB, and SH groups (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Overall, WB and OB were rapidly fermented by fecal microbiota, in contrast with SBP, SH, and CB. Fermentation of different fiber-rich co-products with an equal TDF content gives different responses in terms of microbial composition and SCFA production due to variations in their physicochemical properties and molecular structure.

Due to the complexity of the biomolecules and titanium (Ti) combination, it is a challenge to modify the implant surface with biological cytokines. The study proposed a new method for immobilizing cytokines on implant surface to solve the problem of low osseointegration under type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) condition. This new modified protein that connected Ti-binding artificial aptamer minTBP-1 with Insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I), had a special strong affinity with Ti and a therapeutic effect on diabetic bone loss. According to the copies of minTBP-1, three proteins were prepared, namely minTBP-1-IGF-1, 2minTBP-1-IGF-1 and 3minTBP-1-IGF-1. Compared with the other modified proteins, 3minTBP-1-IGF-1 adsorbed most on the Ti surface. Additionally, this biointerface demonstrated the most uniform state and the strongest hydrophilicity. In vitro results showed that the 3minTBP-1-IGF-1 significantly increased the adhesion, proliferation, and mineralization activity of osteoblasts under T2DM conditions when compared with the control group and the other modified IGF-1s groups. Real-time PCR assay results confirmed that 3minTBP-1-IGF-1 could effectively promote the expression of osteogenic genes, that is, ALP, BMP-2, OCN, OPG, and Runx2. All these data indicated that the 3minTBP-1-IGF-1 had the most efficacious effect in promoting osteoblasts osteogenesis in diabetic conditions, and may be a promising option for further clinical use.

Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) is thought to be a rare but probably underestimated presentation of cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL). We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis with the aim of comprehensively revealing the occurrence of ICH in patients with CADASIL.English-language studies published up to September 30, 2021 were searched for in the MEDLINE (PubMed), Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases. The design, patient characteristics, occurrence rate of ICH, and associated risk factors were retrieved for each identified relevant study.We enrolled 13 studies in the final meta-analysis, which included 1,310 patients with CADASIL. The probability of ICH occurrence in patients with CADASIL was 10.1% (95% confidence interval [CI]=5.6%-18.0%, I²=85.1%). When stratified by geographic region, the occurrence rate of ICH was much higher in Asians (17.7%; 95% CI=11.0%-28.5%, I²=76.3%) than in Europeans (2.0%; 95% CI=0.4%-10.8%, I²=82.8%). A higher burden of cerebral microbleeds (CMBs) and a history of hypertension were the most commonly recorded risk factors for ICH, which were available for three and two of the included studies, respectively.Our study suggests that ICH is an important clinical manifestation of CADASIL, especially in Asians. A higher burden of CMBs and the existence of hypertension were found to be associated with a higher probability of ICH occurrence in patients with CADASIL.

Background: When liver metastasis in patients with breast cancer is diagnosed, treatment is generally palliative and usually consists of systemic therapies only. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) combined with systemic chemotherapy in patients with breast carcinoma liver metastases (BCLM). Methods: From January 2012 to December 2019, HAI catheter systems were implanted under the guide of digital subtract angiography (DSA) in 19 patients with BCLM. All patients received systemic chemotherapy and HAI gemcitabine plus floxuridine (FUDR). Methods: The overall response rate (ORR) of intrahepatic lesions was 73.7%, including 2 patients (10.5%) with complete remission (CR) and 12 patients (63.2%) with partial remission (PR). Hydrogenated microcrystalline silicon (µc-Si:H) films were prepared on glass and silicon substrates by radio frequency magnetron sputtering at 100 °C using a mixture of argon (Ar) and hydrogen (H2) gasses as precursor gas. The effects of the ratio of hydrogen flow (H2/(Ar+H2)%)) on the microstructure were evaluated. Results show that the microstructure, bonding structure, and surface morphology of the µc-Si:H films can be tailored based on the ratio of hydrogen flow. An amorphous to crystalline phase transition occurred when the ratio of hydrogen flow increased up to 50%. The crystallinity increased and tended to stabilize with the increase in ratio of hydrogen flow from 40% to 70%. The surface roughness of thin films increased, and total hydrogen content decreased as the ratio of hydrogen flow increased. All µc-Si:H films have a preferred (111) orientation, independent of the ratio of hydrogen flow. And the µc-Si:H films had a dense structure, which shows their excellent resistance to post-oxidation.

Mask-free direct printing can alleviate the high cost and high consumption involved in photo-lithography for chip processing. Most of their technical routes are based on the traditional short focal length nozzles, which is suffered from higher probability of nozzle retardation or clogging as well as the higher mechanical burdens. While aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition (AACVD) has better deposition adaptability but usually lack of focused printing. In this study, a system that combines of long focal length ALS with AACVD, so called AAFCVD printing system has been developed. The single-point printing capability and aerosol precursor adaptability were verified, and the relationship between the single spot printing performance and the chemical reaction mechanisms were studied. Furthermore, a unique carbon injection effect brought by ALS was discovered. Finally, the linear graphics printing performances of the system were evaluated. This system is expected to become a new generation of high-performance mask-free printing system for chip manufacturing.

Objective To compare the efficacy of ranibizumab plus fufang xueshuantong capsule (cFXST) with the efficacy of ranibizumab alone in treatment of exudative age-related macular degeneration. Methods This prospective, randomized, controlled, pilot study included 38 eyes from 38 patients with exudative age-related macular degeneration (AMD) that were randomly allocated into two cohorts of 19 eyes each: ranibizumab (Cr) and ranibizumab plus cFXST (Cfr). All patients received three monthly injections of ranibizumab. Patients in Cfr also received daily oral supplementation of cFXST. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and thickness of the choroidal neovascularization-pigment epithelial detachment (CNV-PED) complex (measured by optical coherence tomography) were recorded at baseline and at 1 and 3 months after the first intravitreal injection of ranibizumab. Results In the Cfr, the CNV-PED complex thickness was reduced by 31.7% and 36.1% at 1 and 3 months, respectively; these reductions were significantly greater than the 19.7% and 24.2% reductions in the Cr. BCVA improvement was significantly greater in the Cfr than in the Cr after 3 months; the proportion of patients with functional response was also greater in the Cfr than in the Cr (16/16 vs. 8/17). Conclusion Oral cFXST increases the efficacy of short-term ranibizumab treatment for exudative AMD.

Purpose: To evaluate diagnostic and predictive values of the serum vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF-A) level and systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients. Methods: From January 2018 to April 2020, we prospectively enrolled 59 untreated SCLC patients in the study group and 50 non-neoplastic patients in the control group. Blood samples were collected at baseline, after the first two cycles of chemotherapy and at progression in the study group and at entry in the control group. Serum VEGF-A was measured by chemiluminescence, SII was calculated based on complete blood count results, and the relationship between the VEGF-A/SII and clinicopathological characteristics, chemotherapeutic efficacy and progression-free survival (PFS) of SCLC patients was analyzed. Results: Baseline serum VEGF-A was significantly higher in SCLC patients than in non-neoplastic patients (P0.050). Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses suggested that baseline VEGF-A (HR: 3.443, 95% CI: 1.330-8.908, P=0.011) was an independent prognostic factor for PFS in SCLC patients. Conclusions: Baseline serum VEGF-A and SII are associated with important clinicopathological characteristics of SCLC patients. VEGF-A, but not SII, has the ability of diagnosis and predicting first-line chemotherapeutic efficacy and prognosis in SCLC patients.

Here we report the 0.94(Bi0.5Na0.5)TiO3–0.06Ba(Zr0.055Ti0.945)O3 (0.94BNT–0.06BZT) lead-free ceramics was synthesized by two-step solid state reaction route. The structural, dielectric, ferroelectric, piezoelectric and electromechanical properties of the ceramics were studied, and showed excellent electric properties (P s = 39.9 μC/cm2, P r = 33.7 μC/cm2, E c = 2.79 kV/mm, S = 0.20%, d 33 = 174 pC/N, k p = 0.33). The depolarization temperature (T d ) of the ceramics is about 65 °C, which is determined from the first hump of relative dielectric constant. The electromechanical factor k p disappears at 65 °C, is consistent with the depolarization temperature (T d ) and the ferroelectric-antiferroelectric phase transition temperature (T fe−afe ) determined from the temperature-dependent P–E and bipolar S–E curves. These results indicate the 0.94BNT–0.06BZT ceramics has a good thermal stability in range of − 60–60 °C, and meets the actual demand.

We report in this paper a miniature adjustable-focus camera module integrated with a solid tunable lens driven by MEMS-thermal actuators. Thanks to the compact structures of the MEMS actuators and the optical-power-variation capability of such solid tunable lenses, such a camera module shows great potential in various applications, especially in tiny underwater imaging systems where an optical zoom or focus-tuning function is required. The camera module presented in this paper consists of a solid tunable lens for optical power tuning, two identical MEMS-thermal actuators for lens component driving and one commercial CMOS chip for image recording, assisted with necessary mechanical parts for supporting and housing. We first introduce the optimal design of the solid tunable lens which consists of two freeform components moving in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis, and subsequently, the MEMS thermal actuators which consist of V-shaped micro beams. The lens components are fabricated by the technique of single-point diamond turning followed by the PMDS modelling process while the MEMS-thermal actuators are materialized by a commercial MUMPS process. The static performance of the designed system, including the temperature distribution, displacement-versus-voltage curve and the optical tuning capability, is characterized in detail, together with the dynamic responding speed, hysteresis and imaging performance stability during tuning. Results show that a maximum output displacement of 135 μm is achieved by the optimized MEMS-thermal actuator with a driving voltage of 10V, and consequently a focal length tuning range from 9.2 to 7.9 mm with a responding speed of about 90 ms is realized by the solid tunable lens. The highest temperate on the actuator is about 690 K during the operation while the temperate increase on the lens components is found to be about 30 K, which guarantees the optical performance stability. Targets placed at different object distances are clearly focused by the assembled miniature camera module with various driving voltages, which demonstrate its adjustable focus capability. Such miniature adjustable-focus camera modules show promising future in underwater applications due to their compact structures and optical-power-variation capability.

Objective To evaluate whether patients with malignant biliary obstruction (MBO) benefit from balloon dilation before the placement of a self-expanding metal stent (SEMS) for palliative biliary drainage. Methods Consecutive patients who underwent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography with SEMS placement for palliative management of MBO were retrospectively included. Comparative analyses of serum bilirubin levels, post-procedural adverse events, stent patency time, stent dysfunction, and patient survival were performed between the dilation and non-dilation groups. Results A total of 221 patients underwent palliative endoscopic SEMS implantation for MBO from January 2014 to June 2018. Dilation significantly improved the percentage of serum bilirubin improvement (37.0% vs 14.3%, P = 0.001), with a decreasing trend in the incidence of post-procedural cholangitis (2.5% vs 7.8%, P = 0.075), while the rates of other complications such as pancreatitis and bleeding were not increased. The patency time of SEMS and patient survival did not significantly differ between patients with and without dilation. Patients had endoscopic nasobiliary drainage (ENBD) but not dilation showed similar short-term outcomes as patients underwent dilation but without ENBD. Conclusions Dilation with a small-caliber balloon catheter before the placement of SEMS is a safe and effective approach for MBO. Balloon dilation may improve the short-term efficacy of SEMS placement, while long-term outcomes are not obviously affected. The short-term effect of stricture dilation may be achieved by ENBD. Further studies are needed to confirm our results.

To investigate the clinical effect of a novel disposable ring versus that of the suture device in circumcision for redundant prepuce and phimosis.We randomly assigned 470 male patients with redundant prepuce or phimosis to receive circumcision with a novel disposable ring (the DR group, n = 235) or the suture device (the SD group, n = 235) and compared the operation time, intraoperative blood loss, pain scores, wound healing time, and postoperative complications and penile appearance between the two groups of patients.All the operations were completed smoothly. Compared with the SD group, the DR group showed significantly shorter operation time (［7.49 ± 1.84］ vs ［3.83 ± 0.42］ min, P0. 05), less intraoperative blood loss (［3.34 ± 2.59］ vs ［2.41 ± 1.01］ ml, P0.05), lower intraoperative pain score (0.57 ± 0.76 vs 0.20 ± 0.47, P0.05) and 6-hour postoperative pain score (3.42 ± 1.12 vs 0.48 ± 0.94, P0.05), shorter wound healing time (［12.05 ± 2.80］ vs ［7.79 ± 1.65］ d, P0.05), lower incidence rates of postoperative glans congestion or edema (36.17% ［85/235］ vs 2.56% ［6/235］, P0.05), dysuria or strenuous urination (34.04% ［80/235］ vs 2.13% ［5/235］, P0.05) and bleeding or hematoma (5.11% ［12/235］ vs 1.28% ［3/235］, P0.05), and higher satisfaction with postoperative penile appearance (90.6% ［213/235］ vs 95.8% ［228/235］, P0.05). There were no statistically significant differences between the SD and DR groups in the pain scores at the sixth night after operation (1.31 ± 0.96 vs 1.34 ± 1.07, P0.05) or while the staples scraping the underpants or at the ring removal (3.49 ± 1.22 vs 3.36 ± 1.41, P0.05). No obvious postoperative infection or delayed healing was observed except for 3 cases of wound dehiscence (1 in the DR and 2 in the SD group) and 8 cases of delayed removal of the staples in the SD group.The novel disposable ring, with its advantages of short operation time, less bleeding and pain, good penile appearance, high safety, and simple operation, is obviously superior to the suture device in circumcision and deserves to be applied and popularized clinically. .目的： 比较新型包皮套扎器行包皮环切术与缝合器包皮环切术治疗包皮过长及包茎的临床效果。方法： 470例包皮环切术的患者随机分为两组，一次性使用包皮套扎器包皮环切术（套扎器组）和缝合器包皮环切术（缝合器组）各235例。分析和比较两组患者的手术时间、术中出血量、疼痛评分(视觉模拟评分法，VAS)、术后愈合时间、阴茎头充血水肿、排尿困难或者费力、术后明显出血及血肿、包皮裂开、延迟脱钉及愈合后外观满意度等。结果： 所有手术均顺利完成，套扎器组的手术时间（3.83±0.42）min 、术中出血量（2.41±1.01）ml、术中疼痛评分(0.20±0.47)分，术后6 h疼痛评分（0.48±0.94）分，术后包皮愈合时间（7.79±1.65) d，愈合后外观满意度95.8%（228/235），阴茎头充血水肿2.56%（6/235)，排尿困难费力2.13%（5/235)，术后明显出血及血肿1.28%（3/235）；缝合器组上述指标分别为(7.49±1.84) min、(3.34±2.59) ml 、（0.57±0.76）分、（3.42±1.12）分、（12.05±2.80）d、90.6%（213/235）、36.17%（85/235）、34.04%（80/235）、5.11%（12/235），以上9项指标两组均有显著差异 (P均0. 05)。术后第6天夜间疼痛评分套扎器组（1.34±1.07）分，缝合器组为（1.31±0.96）分；拆环时疼痛评分套扎器组（3.36±1.41）分，缝合器组脱钉前钉挂内裤时疼痛评分（3.49±1.22）分，两组差异均无统计学意义(P均0. 05)。两组均无术后明显感染及延迟愈合情况发生，包皮裂开套扎器组1例，缝合器组2例。缝合器组延迟脱钉者8(3.40%)例。 结论: 使用新型套扎器包皮环切术更加安全、省时、美观、患者痛苦小、护理更简单。.

To compare the clinical effect of a novel disposable circumcision device Ring with that of conventional circumcision in the treatment of redundant prepuce and phimosis.Totally, 750 patients with redundant prepuce or phimosis underwent Ring circumcision (group A, n = 450) or conventional circumcision (group B, n = 300). We recorded the operation time, intraoperative blood loss, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) intraoperative pain scores, postoperative complications, wound healing time, and patients' satisfaction with postoperative penile appearance, followed by comparison of the collected data between the two groups of patients.All the operations were successfully completed. Group A, as compared with B, showed significantly shorter operation time (［3.78 ± 0.42］ vs ［26.24 ± 3.99］ min, P0.05), less intraoperative blood loss (［2.39 ± 1.01］ vs ［10.80 ± 3.57］ ml, P0.05), lower pain scores intraoperatively (0.14 ± 0.36 vs 2.30 ± 1.46, P0.05), 6 hours postoperatively (0.32 ± 0.78 vs 3.03 ± 1.56, P0.05) and at the ring removal (3.35 ± 1.42 vs 2.78 ± 1.43, P0.05), shorter wound healing time (［7.61 ± 1.60］ vs ［8.57 ± 1.37］ d, P0.05), higher satisfaction with postoperative penile appearance (97.8% ［440/450］ vs 86% ［258/300］, P0.05), and lower incidence of postoperative bleeding or hematoma (0.89% ［4/450］ vs 3% ［9/300］, P0.05). No statistically significant differences were observed between groups A and B in the nocturnal pain score before the ring removal (1.45±1.02 vs 1.38 ± 0.92, P0.05) or the postoperative incidence rate of edema (0.89% ［4/450］ vs 2.33% ［7/300］, P0.05). There were no significant postoperative infections or delayed incision healing except for 1 case of wound dehiscence in each group.Ring circumcision, with its advantages of shorter operation time, less blood loss and pain, higher safety, and better postoperative penile appearance, is easily accepted by the patients and deserves wide clinical application.目的： 比较新型包皮套扎器行包皮环切术与传统包皮环切术治疗包皮过长及包茎的临床效果及并发症。方法： 750例包皮环切术的患者分为两组，450例采用新型包皮套扎器包皮环切术（套扎器组），300例采用传统包皮环切术（传统组），分析和比较两组患者的手术时间、出血量、疼痛评分(视觉模拟评分法，VAS)、术后恢复时间和术后感染的发生率，及术后外观满意度等。结果： 所有手术均顺利完成，套扎器组的手术时间（3.78±0.42）min 、术中出血量（2.39±1.01）ml、术中疼痛评分(0.14±0.36)分，术后6 h疼痛评分为(0.32±0.78)分，拆环时疼痛评分(3.35±1.42)分，术后包皮完全愈合时间(7.61±1.60) d，愈合后外观满意度97.8%（440/450），术后出血及血肿0.89%(4/450)；传统手术组分别为(26.24±3.99) min, ( 10.80 ± 3.57) ml ,(2.30±1.46)分，(3.03±1.56)分， (2.43±1.67)分， (8.57±1.37) d，86%（258/300），3%（9/300）；以上8项指标均有统计学意义(P0.05)。套扎器组拆套扎器前夜间疼痛评分(1.45±1.02)分，拆环后包皮内板及系带处水肿0.89%（4/450），传统手术组分别为拆线前夜夜间疼痛评分(1.38±0.92)分，拆线后水肿2.33%（7/300），以上两项无统计学意义(P0. 05)。两组发生包皮裂开各1例，均无术后明显感染及延迟愈合情况发生。 结论: 新型包皮套扎器包皮环切术具有手术时间短, 术中术后出血少, 疼痛轻, 术后外观满意度高, 安全度高，受术者易于接受等优点，值得临床推广应用。.

Objective To investigate the correlation between long-term blood pressure variability (BPV) and leukoaraiosis (LA). Methods Blood pressure was measured monthly in 209 patients visiting Zhejiang Hospital during June 2011 to June 2013, and they were followed up for 12 months. The patients were divided into LA 0-3 groups according to the MRI results and Fazekas scale. The clinical information, long-term blood pressure, and the index of long-term BPV were compared between LA groups and non-LA group, and among patients with different levels of LA, and then the correlation was regressively analyzed. The important roles of the CXCL12/CXCR4 axis in numerous pathogenic pathways involving HIV infection and cancer metastasis make the CXCR4 receptor an attractive target for the development of therapeutic agents. Through scaffold hybridization of a few known CXCR4 antagonists, a series of novel aminopyrimidine derivatives was developed. Compound 3 from this new scaffold demonstrates excellent binding affinity with CXCR4 receptor (IC50 = 54 nM) and inhibits CXCL12 induced cytosolic calcium increase (IC50 = 2.3 nM). Furthermore, compound 3 possesses good physicochemical properties (MW 353, clogP 2.0, PSA 48, pKa 6.7) and exhibits minimal hERG and CYP isozyme (e.g. 3A4, 2D6) inhibition. Collectively, these results strongly support further optimization of this novel scaffold to develop better CXCR4 antagonists.

To better monitor and remediate environments contaminated by cadmium (Cd), plants are used as hyperaccumulators or biomonitors; however, few have been identified for aquatic Cd pollution. In our study, two aquatic ornamental plants, Microsorum pteropus (Blume) Copel. and Echinodorus grisebachii Small, were studied for their Cd accumulation capacity, morphological characteristics, and leaf physiological indexes. Microsorum pteropus (Blume) Copel. leaf has the potential to hyperaccumulate Cd (166 mg/kg dry weight for 1 mg/L exposure), with no significant physiological difference under exposure. Echinodorus grisebachii Small had sensitive diagnostic responses to Cd toxicity, such as significant decreases in Chl (a + b) and Chl-a/b, increased peroxidase (POD) activity, greater malondialdehyde (MDA) content, and increased soluble sugar content. These results suggest that Microsorum pteropus (Blume) Copel. could have the potential to be a Cd hyperaccumulator, while Echinodorus grisebachii Small could serve as a biomonitor for Cd-contaminated water bodies.

The measures such as controlling composition, adding rare earth, technology for heating processing to improve the thermal conductivity of the aluminum alloy are analyzed. Research status of the thermal conductivity mechanism of aluminum alloy in domestic and overseas are summarized. The developing situation and future development prospects were given as well.

Al-Ti-B master alloy is the most widely used grain refiner in the aluminum fabrication industry, while it’s refinement mechanism is not clearly understand yet. The TiB2 in Al-Ti-B master alloy is one of important phase to grain refining, which intimately related to the generation of initial nucleus, the “fading” phenomenon of refining effect declines with the increase of holding or standing time in grain refining process. Besides, TiB2 is analyzed in several studies about the “poisoning” phenomenon, a large extent weaken of refining effect when Zr, Cr, Mn etc. exists. In this article, the impact of TiB2 to the refining effect of Al-Ti-B master alloy is discussed aiming at the roles and phenomenon mentions above.

Objective To study the antidiabetic and anti-oxidative effects of honokiol (Hon) in Magnolia officinalis and its underlying molecular mechanism in diabetic rats induced by high-fat diet (HFD) and streptozotocin (STZ). Methods After ig administration with Hon [25, 50, and 100 mg/(kg·d)] to diabetic rats for consecutive 10 weeks, the levels of blood glucose (BG), oral glucose tolerance (OGT), blood lipids including total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), hepatic oxidative stress including the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), methane dicarboxylic aldehyde (MDA), and cytochrome P4502E1 (CYP2E1) in diabetic rats were measured. Results Compared to the diabetic control rats, ig administration of Hon resulted in significant decrease in BG, TC, TG, and LDL-C levels in serum, as well as hepatic CYP2E1 activity and MDA content in diabetic rats, whereas the level of OGT and activities of hepatic CAT, SOD, and GSH-Px in diabetic rats were significantly increased. Conclusion Hon could alleviate hyperglycemia, hyperlipemia, hepatic oxidative damage, and insulin resistance in diabetic rats by inhibiting hepatic CYP2E1 activity.

This article mainly introduced novel carrier-modified methods for active targeting antitumor preparation as well as their evaluation methodology in recent years. By reviewing related domestic and overseas literatures, the up-to-date scientific researches concerning active targeting antitumor preparation were elaborated and the problems existing in present studies were discussed. Numerous valid vector-embellished methods had been discovered with excellent targeting effects, and the significant progress was acquired for the evaluation tools in vitro and in vivo. The active targeting agent would be a major direction in prospective tumor or cancer therapeutic regimen.

This paper reviews several main modification methods of Al-Ti-B master alloy, including high-intensity ultrasound, equal channel angular pressing, conform, and electromagnetic stirring. Attention is directed to the principles and characteristics of various methods, as well as the researches related to Al-Ti-B master alloy. This review also indicates the existing problems of the technology, and the development direction of the modification of Al-Ti-B master alloy in the future.

Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics of Ba 0.70 Ca 0.30 Ti 1− x Fe x O 3 ( x =0–0.03) have been synthesized by a conventional solid state reaction method. The influence of Fe content on the microstructure, phase transition, dielectric, ferroelectric, and piezoelectric properties is investigated systematically. The ceramics with x ≤0.02 are diphasic composites of tetragonal Ba 0.80 Ca 0.20 TiO 3 :Fe and orthorhombic Ba 0.07 Ca 0.93 TiO 3 :Fe solid solutions. The tetragonal phase is gradually suppressed as x increases, the ceramic with x =0.03 is found to have diphasic pseudocubic and orthorhombic phases. And the grain size is dependent on Fe content significantly. Introduction of Fe at B-sites improves the densification and decreases the sintering temperature. As x increases from 0 to 0.03, the room temperature relative dielectric permittivity enhances, dielectric loss decreases, and the Curie temperature decreases monotonically from 128 °C to 58 °C. However, the ferroelectricity enhances slightly and reaches the maximum near x =0.005, and then weakens with increasing x . On the other hand, the piezoelectric coefficient ( d 33 ) and the electromechanical coupling coefficient ( k p ) decrease simultaneously with increasing x , whereas the mechanical quality factor ( Q m ) increases significantly. The structure–electrical properties relationship is discussed intensively to give more information on (Ba,Ca)TiO 3 -based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics.

Karnyothrips cyathomorphus sp. n. (Phlaeothripidae: Phlaeothripinae) is described as a new apterous species in the genus Karnyothrips Watson 1923, and it represents the fourth species of the genus to be recorded from China. A key to the Chinese species is given.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the image quality of hand tendons using dual-energy computed tomographic gemstone spectral imaging (DECT GSI) compared with conventional CT images.Forty patients scanned with GSI mode on DECT were enrolled. The 65-keV optimal contrast-to-noise ratio for viewing hand tendons was selected. The image quality of monochromatic GSI images (65 keV) and conventional CT images was compared with two different methods including a subjective method and an objective method by two radiologists, respectively.In the subjective method, the image quality in GSI images was superior to conventional CT images (P.05). And in the objective method, the beam-hardening artifacts in the phalanges of finger space were reduced markedly, with hand tendons displaying more clearly in GSI images (P.05). There was no significant difference between the two radiologists in both methods, with good correlation (kappa=0.75, kappa=0.85).DECT GSI with the optimal 65-keV monochromatic images could reduce the artifacts and increase image quality significantly in hand tendons imaging. It might be very useful in detecting tendon diseases in routine work.
