Abstract: This research aims to describe the school's cooperation strategy with overseas language institutions, including the background and work programme, management process, human resources, funding, management optimisation strategies and results. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method design. The research visited the site of SHS 1 Malang. Data were collected using interviews, observations, and documentary studies. Data validity checking techniques include observation/observation persistence, triangulation, member checking, complete report writing, and audit tracing techniques. Data analysis is carried out interactively from data collection to conclusion drawing. Results of this study are summarized: (1) The chosen cooperation institution is PASCH in Germany, because it matches the background of the school which provides a language programme, there is a German language teachers, language classes are large and prominent, and supported by adequate school infrastructure; (2) Cooperation programmes include programmes for teachers, students, and facilities; (3) the management process includes planning, implementation, and evaluation in each type of activity; the human resources involved come from PASCH and from the school; programme funding comes from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the school, and students; (4) strategies for optimising cooperation management include the obligation of grade 10 to choose one extracurricular foreign language, optimising human resources, funding, management processes, consistency of cooperation, and utilisation of facilities obtained; and (5) Results of the strategy include continued cooperation, active involvement, more students learning German and being active in activities, increased students competence and achievement, and more students interested in German language learning and programmes. Keywords: school cooperation, foreign language institute, learning Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan strategi kerja sama sekolah dengan lembaga bahasa di luar negeri, mencakup latar belakang dan program kerja, proses pengelolaan, sumber daya manusia, pendanaan, strategi optimalisasi pengelolaan dan hasilnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan metode studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di SMAN 1 Malang. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumenter. Teknik pengecekkan keabsahan data berupa ketekunan observasi/pengamatan, triangulasi, pengecekkan anggota, penulisan laporan yang lengkap, serta teknik penelusuran audit. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif mulai dari pengumpulan data sampai dengan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini telah dirangkum: (1) lembaga kerjasama yang dipilih adalah PASCH di Jerman, karena sesuai dengan latar belakang sekolah yang menyediakan program bahasa, terdapat guru bahasa Jerman, kelas bahasa tergolong besar dan menonjol, serta didukung infrastruktur sekolah yang memadai; (2) program kerja sama meliputi program untuk guru, peserta didik, dan fasilitas; (3) proses pengelolaan meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi di setiap jenis kegiatan; SDM yang terlibat berasal dari PASCH dan dari sekolah; pendanaan program bersumber dari Kementerian Luar Negeri Jerman, sekolah, dan peserta didik; (4) strategi optimalisasi pengelolaan kerja sama mencakup kewajiban kelas 10 memilih satu ekstrakulikuler bahasa asing, pengoptimalan SDM, pendanaan, proses pengelolaan, konsistensi kerja sama, dan pemanfaatan fasilitas yang diperoleh; dan (5) hasil strategi berupa kerja sama yang berlanjutan, keterlibatan aktif, semakin banyak peserta didik yang mempelajari bahasa Jerman dan aktif dalam kegiatan, peningkatan kompetensi dan prestasi peserta didik, dan semakin banyaknya peserta didik yang tertarik dengan pembelajaran dan program bahasa Jerman. Abstract: The aims of this research are: (1) to describe the level of activeness in student organizations at SMAN in Kebumen Regency; (2) describe the ability to manage time for SMAN students in Kebumen Regency; (3) knowing the effect of being active in an organization on the ability to manage the time of high school students in Kebumen Regency. This research is a correlational descriptive research. The sampling technique using proportional stratified random sampling was used in each school with a total sample of 379 students. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, correlational, and hypothesis testing with the help of IBM SPSS statistics 25. The results of this study are: (1) the level of activeness in the organization of high school students in Kebumen Regency belongs to the high category; (2) the ability to manage time for high school students throughout Kebumen Regency is in the high category; (3) there is a significant and positive influence between organizational activity on the ability to manage time for high school students in Kebumen Regency. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Proporsionate Stratified Random Sampling digunakan di masing-masing sekolah dengan jumlah sampel total sebanyak 379 siswa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni teknik analisis deskriptif, regresi, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistic 25. Hasil penelitian ini yakni: (1) tingkat keaktifan berorganisasi siswa SMAN se-Kabupaten Kebumen tergolong dalam kategori tinggi; (2) kemampuan mengelola waktu siwa SMAN se-Kabupaten Kebumen tergolong dalam kategori tinggi; (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan positif antara keaktifan berorganisasi terhadap kemampuan mengelola waktu siswa SMAN se-Kabupaten Kebumen. Abstract: Teacher performance in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum involves various activities such as lesson planning, teaching implementation, and assessment. In the context of this research, the transformational leadership of the school principal and school culture play crucial roles in supporting teacher performance. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of transformational leadership by the school principal and school culture on teacher performance in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. This research adopts a descriptive correlational quantitative approach, utilizing a saturated sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to 119 teachers from seven schools. The data analysis is conducted using IBM SPSS 25 and SmartPLS 3.0 software with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The findings of this study indicate that (1) transformational leadership of the school principal has a positive but non-significant (non-influential) effect on teacher performance in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum; (2) school culture has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum; (3) transformational leadership of the school principal and school culture collectively and significantly contribute 42.4% to teacher performance in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, while the remaining 57.6% is influenced by other variables beyond the scope of this research. Keywords: Transformational leadership; school culture; teacher performance; merdeka curriculum Abstrak: Kinerja guru dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka merupakan aktivitas guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar meliputi tahapan merencanakan pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Pada konteks peneilitian ini, kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah memiliki peran penting untuk menunjang kinerja guru. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh melalui penyebaran kuesioner terhadap sejumlah 119 Guru (7 Sekolah). Untuk analisis data menggunakan bantuan software IBM SPSS 25 dan SmartPLS 3.0 dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah secara positif tidak signifikan (tidak berpengaruh) terhadap kinerja guru dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka; (2) budaya sekolah berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka; (3) kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan budaya sekolah berpengaruh secara simultan dan bersamaan dengan menyumbang sebesar 42,4% terhadap kinerja guru dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka, sedangkan sisanya 57,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti. Abstract: This study aims to describe the level of quality of extracurricular activity services, the level of student satisfaction with the provision of extracurricular activity services, and explain the relationship between the quality of extracurricular activity services and student satisfaction. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research type. The population in the study were students in class X and XI at Public Senior High School in Malang with a total population of 7206 students. The sample for this research was using simple random sampling and proportional random sampling. The research sample consisted of 379 students. Data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques and pearson product moment correlation. The results showed (1) the quality level of extracurricular activity services was in the very good category; (2) the level of student satisfaction with extracurricular activity services is in the very satisfied category; and (3) there is a significant relationship between the quality of extracurricular activity services and student satisfaction at Public Senior High School in Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X dan XI di SMA Negeri Kota Malang dengan jumlah populasi 7206 orang peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan simple random sampling dan proportional random sampling, diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 379 orang peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan korelasi pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) tingkat kualitas layanan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berada pada kategori sangat baik; (2) tingkat kepuasan peserta didik atas layanan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berada pada kategori sangat puas; dan (3) ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kualitas layanan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan kepuasan peserta didik di SMA Negeri Kota Malang. Abstract: This study aims to describe the condition of the quality of Islamic education institutions after implementing doubletrack, and the strategy and implementation of the vocational program at MAN Kota Mojokerto. The research method is a qualitative approach to case study design with interview, observation, and documentation data collection techniques. The results of this research are that the Vocational Program is held on the basis of 1) the allocation of the distribution of graduates is mostly working; 2) the issuance of a decree stating that MAN in Mojokerto City has been transformed into MA Plus Skills; 3) Provision of grants from the Ministry of Religion for the purchase of supporting tools for the implementation of vocational programs. The implementation of the vocational program is included in the school intracurricular so that students who take part in the vocation are class X students except X-E5 and X-E6 and all class XI from the Science, Social Sciences and Religion majors using the moving class method every Monday and Friday. The strategies carried out are forming vocational teams, collaboration between teachers, rigorous selection of prospective vocational teachers, increasing teacher competency, and partner collaboration. Indicators of quality achievement from the implementation of the vocational program can be seen from the increase in student achievement, increase in existence, and increase in student skills. There are factors supporting quality improvement through the implementation of the vocational program including: 1) teacher collaboration, having professional teaching staff, student enthusiasm, support from student guardians, committees, and the existence of working partners. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of availability of facilities and infrastructure and the ups and downs of learning enthusiasm from students. Keywords: Enhancement; Quality; Madrasah; Program; Vocational Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keadaan mutu lembaga pendidikan Islam setelah menerapkan doubletrack, dan strategi serta implementasi program vokasi di MAN Kota Mojokerto. Metode dalam riset pendekatan kualitatif rancangan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil riset ini adalah program vokasi diselenggarakan atas dasar (1) alokasi penyebaran lulusan sebagian besar bekerja; (2) pemberian SK bahwa MAN Kota Mojokerto bertranformasi menjadi MA Plus Keterampilan; (3) Pemberian dana hibah dari Kemenag untuk pembelian alat pendukung penyelenggaraan program vokasi. Pelaksanaan program vokasi dicantumkan dalam intrakulikuler sekolah sehingga peserta didik yang mengikuti vokasi yaitu siswa kelas X kecuali X-E5 dan X-E6 dan seluruh kelas XI baik dari jurusan IPA, IPS, dan Agama dengan metode moving class setiap hari senin dan jumat. Adapun strategi yang dilakukan yaitu pembentukan tim vokasi, kolaborasi antar guru, seleksi ketat calon guru vokasi, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan kerja sama mitra. Indikator ketercapaian mutu dari pelaksanaan program vokasi dilihat dari peningkatan prestasi peserta didik, peningkatan eksistensi, dan peningkatan skill peserta didik. Terdapat faktor pendukung peningkatan mutu melalui penerapan program vokasi yaitu: (1) kolaborasi guru; (2) memiliki tenaga pendidik profesional; (3) antusiasme peserta didik; (4) dukungan dari wali murid dan komite; (6) adanya mitra kerja sama. The purpose of the study is to describe; (1) how high is the management of blended learning FIP UM (2) how high is the learning motivation of FIP UM students; (3) how high the learning achievement of FIP UM students is; (4) how is the relationship between blended learning management and learning achievement of FIP UM students; (5) how is the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement of FIP UM students; and (6) how is the relationship between blended learning management and learning motivation and learning achievement of FIP UM students. This research uses a quantitative approach by utilizing descriptive and correlation analysis methods. This research is located at FIP UM. The population in this study was FIP UM students class of 2019 which amounted to 962 students and a sample of 286 students. The validity test uses pearson moment products while the reliability test uses Cronbach’s alpha. Furthermore, data analysis uses classical assumptions consisting of; (1) normality; (2) linearity; and (3) homogeneity and correlation tests. The results of the study with the use of descriptive and correlation analysis showed various conclusions, namely; (1) FIP UM students have a “Good” perspective on blended learning management; (2) FIP UM students have the motivation to learn with “Very Good” conditions; (3) FIP UM students have learning achievements in the “Praise” qualification; (4) no relationship between blended learning management and learning achievement had a significance value of .738 > 0.05; (5) there is no relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement which has a significance value of .025 > 0.05; and (6) no simultaneous relationship between blended learning management and learning motivation and learning achievement had a significance value of .371 > 0.05.

Efforts to realize Pancasila Student Profiles based on the local culture of the Tengger tribe are a process of realizing students with character based on the values and culture that develop in a tribe. This study aimed to explain the phenomena that occur at SD di Atas Awan Jarak Ijo to realize the Pancasila Student Profile based on the local culture of the Tengger tribe. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of research design through case studies. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentary studies with snowball sampling. The research showed that SD di Atas Awan Jarak Ijo Malang Regency embodies the Pancasila Student Profile based on the local cultural values of the Tengger tribe by adopting the local culture of the Tengger tribe, namely Kasada, and Karo. The school adopted Kasada and Karo’s activities with a permit/dispensation strategy and went home early. Efforts to realize the Pancasila Student Profile are supported by internal driving factors, namely domicile teachers, culturally strong school members, and student awareness, and there are also external driving factors, namely support from parents, society, and technological developments. However, there are also internal inhibiting factors, namely students playing on mobile phones, and facilities, while external inhibiting factors, namely globalization, community environment, and per capita income.

Education in the digital era requires a holistic and innovative approach to ensure that learning is not only effective but also relevant to the demands of the times. This study aims to identify the interaction effect between instructional leadership, organizational culture, and student learning independence on passion-based learning, teacher creativity, and student skills in the digital era. This research was approached with a quantitative approach, using the Structural Equation Modeling method. The respondents were principals and teachers of senior high schools totaling 270 respondents. The stages of analysis included exploratory factor analysis, normality and outlier tests, confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS and AMOS software. The results showed that the three main elements mentioned significantly influenced passion-based learning, teacher creativity and student skills. This means that in order to improve students' skills in the digital era, it is important to encourage the integration of effective instructional leadership practices, the creation of a conducive organizational culture, and students' learning independence, in order to stimulate passion-based learning and teacher creativity, which can further improve students' skills.

Kegiatan penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk kegiatan pelatihan metode pembelajaran menyenangkan berbasis integrated joyful religious learning dengan menggunakan aplikasi Quizziz bagi guru-guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Pelatihan ini sebagai solusi dalam memecahkan permasalahan pembelajaran yang kurang menyenangkan dan terkesan monoton selama masa pembelajaran jarak jauh seperti saat ini dengan tidak meninggalkan ciri khas madrasah yakni pembelajaran berbasis nilai-nilai keagamaan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di MI Ihyaul Ulum Sooko Kabupaten Mojokerto yang diikuti oleh kepala sekolah dan juga guru-guru. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah pemaparan metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, diskusi, tanya jawab terkait dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru di madrasah, dan pendampingan praktek langsung membuat kuis melalui aplikasi Quizziz. Selama kegiatan berlangsung peserta pelatihan terlihat aktif mengikuti pemaparan materi pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian tersebut yakni guru mampu membuat kuis melalui aplikasi Quizziz, guru antusias mengikuti pelatihan lanjutan, dan guru aktif berkomunikasi secara mandiri dengan tim pengabdian perihal pemanfaatan aplikasi Quizziz.

Abstract: The main task of education in the school system is learning. Improving the quality of school-based education does not occur without improving the quality of learning in schools. The effectiveness of a school in achieving its vision, carrying out its mission, meeting learning goals and targets, as well as in carrying out quality learning activities in a school, requires the existence of a principal who is able to display effective leadership, namely learning leadership. In addition, school principals need to improve their competence as learning leaders on an ongoing basis. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding of principals about: Principal leadership, learning leadership, religious leadership, and leadership change in superior schools in a sustainable, independent, and contextual way. The method used in this service activity is training and mentoring. Peningkatan mutu pendidikan berbasis sekolah tidak terjadi, tanpa peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah. Keefektifan suatu sekolah dalam menggapai visi, mengemban misi, memenuhi tujuan dan target pembelajaran, demikian pula dalam menjalankan aktivitas pembelajaran yang bermutu di suatu sekolah, mempersyaratkan adanya seorang kepala sekolah yang mampu menampilkan kepemimpinan yang efektif, yaitu kepemimpinan pembelajaran. Selain itu, kepala sekolah perlu meningkatkan kompetensinya sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran secara berkelanjutan. Tujuan kegiatan ini berupaya meningkatkan pemahaman kepada kepala sekolah tentang: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kepemimpinan pembelajaran, kepemimpinan religius, dan kepemimpinan perubahan di sekolah unggul secara berkelanjutan, mandiri, dan kontekstual. The policy of developing remote area schools’ quality in Indonesia is getting stronger. The government has set minimum service standards as a reference for schools’ development quality while remaining based on local, national, global, and 21st-century values. This study revealed efforts to improve the 21st-century school’s quality through the contribution of superior leadership, school climate, total quality management implementation, and the school principal’s performance approached quantitatively and analyzed descriptively using Structural Equation Modeling. Participants involved in the study were 147 remote area principals and teachers in two provinces in Indonesia. Results show that (1) school climate had the most dominant contribution to school quality and (2) there was a significant simultaneous effect among superior leadership, school climate, total quality management implementation, and the school principal’s performance on the school quality. Implications of the study’s findings from a theoretical and practical lens as well as recommendations for future studies are also discussed.

Persistence for achievement reflected from the willingness and determination of principal to implement quality leadership will facilitate the improvement of teachers’ performance, and the two will be the determinant factors for the students’ ultimate achievement. This study aims at analyzing empirical data on the effect of instructional, transformational and spiritual leadership as independent variables, with school quality as the dependent variable. In addition, the intervening variable is teachers’ performance. This study employed the quantitative approach in which samples of 181 teachers were re taken using the proportional random sampling technique. All data were then analysed using the SEM technique with the AMOS 24 application. The findings show that: (1) there is a direct effect of instructional leadership on teachers’ performance, transformational leadership on teachers’ performance, spiritual leadership on teachers’ performance, instructional leadership on students’ achievement, transformational leadership on students’ achievement, spiritual leadership on students’ achievement, and teachers’ performance on students’ achievement. In addition, (2) there is an indirect effect of instructional leadership on students’ achievement through teachers’ performance, transformational leadership on students’ achievement through teachers’ performance and spiritual leadership on students’ achievement through teachers’ performance.

The latest ‘freedom to learn’ policy, issued by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, must be implemented by educational institutions at various levels. The principals played significant roles such as community empowerment to utilize all resources in the schools to support the policy. The research aimed to describe the principals’ efforts in improving community participation in the school and to describe the social involvement in facilitating the freedom to learn at schools. This study employed a qualitative approach with a multi-case research design, and it was conducted in Indonesia, particularly in Tana Tidung Regency in North Kalimantan, Bondowoso Regency in East Java, and Malang City in East Java. The data collection techniques included in-depth interviews and document studies, and to validate the data used a credibility technique. The data validation through the credibility technique was carried out by conducting triangulation, checking members, and improving the persistence and adequacy of reference materials. The cross-case data analysis in this study applied a constant comparative method. The analysis was conducted in all three cases resulted in the provisional findings, continued by data comparison that would later be found by the three cases. The results of this research were the principals’ efforts in enhancing community participation through cooperation with several related parties. The principals were regarded as role models in supporting the ‘freedom to learn’ policy and building cooperation with related partners. The kind of community participation varied based on the uniqueness of each region.

Increasing the number of entrepreneurs is not just a school task, it requires joint work between educational institutions and the community. Using structural equation modeling, this research aims to investigate the role of community in promoting entrepreneurial careers for students, by adding achievement motivation, entrepreneurial attitudes, and entrepreneurial intentions as predictor variables. The population of this research was high school students in urban areas, and the sample was taken based on convenience sampling, with a total of 300 students participating. Data were analyzed using EFA, CFA, and structural model evaluation using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0. The research results show that all hypotheses are accepted, meaning that community support influences students' entrepreneurial career choices, as do other predictor variables. This study can provide guidance for developing educational strategies and policies that support the development of young entrepreneurs in the future, through predictor variables.

Abstrak: Integritas adalah tingkat kejujuran dan kualitas moral yang dimiliki seseorang yang dilaksanakan secara konsisten dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Integritas adalah kepribadian seseorang yang bertindak secara konsisten dan utuh, baik dalam perkataan maupun perbuatan, sesuai dengan nilai dan kode etik. Upaya penegakan dedikasi dan integritas kepala sekolah dan guru penting dilakukan untuk mempersiapkan generasi Indonesia menghadapi jamannya dengan terus mengupdate kompetensinya untuk memberikan layanan pendidikan terbaik. Debat moral digunakan sebagai pendekatan dalam meningkatkan integritas kepala sekolah. Berbagai hal terkait pendidikan dapat dijadikan topik dalam debat moral kepala sekolah. Semua topik tersebut harus tetap berada dalam koridor kebangsaan Indonesia. Nilai-nilai kebangsaan merupakan hal utama untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekolah melalui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Hal ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kecintaan pada negara kepada pelajar. Abstrak: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan faktor utama yang mendukung sekolah dalam meningkatkan prestasi. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Prestasi yang telah dicapai oleh kepala sekolah dan sekolah yang dipimpin, (2) Karakteristik kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menengah atas, (3) Faktor pendukung kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menengah, dan (4) Faktor penghambat berprestasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Tunjungsekar 1 Kota Malang. Dimana untuk mengetahui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan prestasi. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah SDN Malang Tunjungsekar 1 Malang. dengan kepala sekolah menjadi kepala sekolah dan guru. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan serta verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah, (1) Kepala sekolah berprestasi sangat banyak dan sekolah yang dipimpinnya banyak berprestasi di berbagai bidang hingga tingkat nasional. (2) Kepala SD Negeri Tunjungsekar 1 Malang memiliki sifat disiplin, banyak pengalaman, terbuka, dll. (3) Komunikasi yang baik antara kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, wali siswa, dan masyarakat mampu menjadi a pendukung dalam meningkatkan prestasi. Abstract: The main objective of research to know about (1) The profile of principal and kiai (2) the role of principal as a leadership of change in improving the quality of education, (2) the principal's strategy as a leadership of change in improving the quality of education, (3) innovation principal as a leadership of change in improving the quality of education, (4) factors supporting of change, and (5) inhibiting factors of change. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. Place the research in SMP An-Nur Bululawang Malang. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observation and documentation. Analytical techniques used are reduction, data display, and data verification. Results from this research (1) the role of headmaster as a leadership of change in improving the quality of education, as philosophy, responsible, locomotive, motivator, and partner work, (2) the strategy used by the principal is to accept students 1 to 10 with a minimum test score of 7.5, foster school culture, discipline students with strict rules, recruit and develop teachers, the freedom of learners to design the classroom, conduct the UN and SBMPTN drafting counseling program, accompanying the students to write job applications and to recommend to the work agencies, (3) innovations made by the principal of gopek management and athlete classes, (4) the factors that support the change come from the internal school such as the principal's leadership, the support of the foundation and the means of infrastructure, from the external needs of the community for education and competition between schools, and (5) the inhibiting factors of change come from the difficult teacher's mind set, teacher competence, and poor school image in society. Abstrack: The purpose of this research was to describe the situational leadership to improve the external competitiveness of the education of the 21st century. This study used a qualitative approach. The data collected by the method of interview, observation, and documentation. The result of the research was (1) the external competitiveness of the educational Profile of the 21st century the intended Junior Hight School Brawijaya Smart School there are three components, among others, character, competence, and insight; (2) situational leadership Behavior to improve the external competitiveness of the education of the 21st century through the orientation of the vision, mission, and goals, as well as through programs that are made; (3) leadership in the circumstantial conditioning to improve the external competitiveness of 21st century education is done through conditioning affect teachers, educational personnel in influencing conditioning, conditioning affect carers his pupil, and conditioning in affect learners. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Profil daya saing luaran pendidikan abad 21 yang dituju SMP Brawijaya Smart School yaitu terdapat tiga komponen antara lain karakter, kompetensi, dan wawasan; (2) Perilaku kepemimpinan situasional untuk meningkatkan daya saing luaran pendidikan abad 21 yaitu melalui orientasi visi, misi, dan tujuan, serta melalui program yang dibuat; (3) Pengondisian dalam kepemimpinan situasional untuk meningkatkan daya saing luaran pendidikan abad 21 dilakukan melalui pengondisian dalam mempengaruhi guru, pengondisian dalam mempengaruhi tenaga kependidikan, pengondisian dalam mempengaruhi wali murid, dan pengondisian dalam mempengaruhi peserta didik. The study aims to describe the problem and find effective leadership strategies that can be done by principals in Elementary School - Junior High School One Roof (SATAP) in remote areas. Qualitative research with a multi-site approach. The data was obtained through the principal, the head of the LPIKIPI representative (Training Institute and Indonesian Educational Innovation Consultant), and tested the credibility and validity in triangulation through the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) and expert testing. The results obtained include: 1) the problems faced by one-roof principals in remote areas are closely related to aspects of cultural, social, economic, demographic, and geographic aspects, as well as historically; 2) effective school leadership solution strategies emphasizing spiritual, personal, and social aspects. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan permasalahan dan menemukan strategi kepemimpinan efektif yang dapat dilakukan kepala sekolah pada SD – SMP Satu Atap (SATAP) di daerah terpencil. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan multi-situs. Data diperoleh melalui kepala sekolah, ketua perwakilan LPIKIPI (Lembaga Pelatihan dan Konsultan Inovasi Pendidikan Indonesia), dan diuji kredibilitas dan validitasnya secara triangulasi melalui Forum Grup Discussion (FGD) dan uji ahli. Hasil yang diperoleh antara lain: 1) permasalahan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah satu atap daerah terpencil sangat terkait dengan aspek-aspek aspek budaya, sosial, ekonomi, demografi, dan geografi, serta historis; 2) strategi solutif kepemimpinan efektif sekolah menekankan pada aspek spiritual, personal, dan sosial.

Abstract:The focus of this research is the formulation of school vision, the shared vision process conducted by the principal, the process of implementing the vision by the principal, the principal's approach in implementing visionary leadership to develop the student's character, and the student character developed in the visionary leadership of principal. This study uses a qualitative method. Qualitative research is a study that intends to understand the phenomenon of behavior, action, the overall situation in a research subject. While the type of research used is case study research. The reason for using case studies is that this research method focuses on an intensive, detailed, and unique case. The unique case in this study is a principal who leads for three periods of leadership, who in the process of leadership has achieved many achievements and shaped the character of learners through the values embedded in the activities at school. The results of this study are: (a) the formulation of the vision carried out by the principal involving all teachers and staff and carried out with SWOT analysis of the school; (b) the shared vision process by the principal is done through the stage of socialization, memorization, implementation, reminding and modeling, assessing and evaluating, rewarding and punishment; (c) the implementation of the vision is done through polite behavior, smile greetings, greetings, responsibilities, discipline and orderly, prioritizing KBM and maximize facilities infrastructure, and establish good cooperation with external; (d) approach in the implementation of the principal's leadership is done through MSG activities, workshop for teachers and school staff, application of 5 S industry culture; core value of the school, and provide an example to the school's citizens; (e) the character of the learner developed in the headmaster's leadership in islami, discipline, and responsibility that is implemented in congregational prayer activities, Dhuha Prayer, PDS, and PIC. Abstrak: Fokus penelitian ini adalah perumusan visi sekolah, proses shared vision yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah, proses penerapan visi oleh kepala sekolah, pendekatan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam implementasi kepemimpinana visioner guna mengembangkan karakter peserta didik, dan karakter peserta didik yang dikembangkan dalam implemetasi kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif adalah penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang perilaku, tindakan, keadaan menyeluruh pada sebuah subjek penelitian. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi kasus. Alasan menggunakan studi kasus adalah metode penelitian ini memusatkan perhatian pada suatu kasus yang unik secara intensif dan rinci. Kasus unik dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang kepala sekolah yang memimpin selama tiga periode kepemimpinan, yang dalam proses kepemimpinannya telah mencapai banyak prestasi serta membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan dalam kegiatan-kegiatan di sekolah. Hasil penelitian iniadalah: (a) perumusan visi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah melibatkan seluruh guru dan staf dan dilaksanakan dengan analisis SWOT terhadap sekolah; (b) proses shared vision oleh kepala sekolah dilakukan melalui tahap sosialisasi, dihafal, diimplementasikan, mengingatkan dan memberi teladan, dinilai dan dievaluasi, memberikan penghargaan dan hukuman; (3) penerapan visi dilakukan melalui perilaku santun, senyum salam, sapa, tanggungjawab, disiplin dan tertib, mengutamakan KBM dan memaksimalkan sarana prasarana, serta menjalin kerjasama yang baik dengan eksternal; (4) pendekatan dalam implementasi kepimimpinan kepala sekolah dilakukan melalui kegiatan MSG, lokakarya bagi guru dan staf sekolah, penerapan budaya industri 5 S; nilai inti sekolah, serta memberikan teladan kepada warga sekolah; (5) karakter peserta didik yang dikembangkan dalam kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yakni islami, kedisiplinan, dan tanggungjawab yang diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan sholat berjamaah, Sholat Dhuha, PDS, dan PIC. This study aimed at finding an effective leadership strategy carried out by one-roof school principals in remote areas. This study was conducted qualitatively with a multi-site approach. The data were obtained from the school principals as key informants and focus group discussion (FGD) involving all school principals, Indonesian Institute of Education Innovation Training and Consultant (LPKIPI), education staff, school supervisors, and stakeholders as the participants and resource persons. Findings suggested that (a) the problems encountered by one-roof school principals in the remote areas were significantly related to culture, economy, demography, geography, and historical aspects, (b) the characteristics of success of school principals in remote areas include a clear vision, high-spirit performance, andhab asor (low profile), active involvement in various social activities, strong motivation for continuous learning, open to feedback, having commitment to cooperate with various parties, having a high awareness that school is an educational system and the essential part from the social system in general, persistent, high confidence that they are not alone in carrying out school policies, creative, able to see the context in various perspectives, patient, polite, warm, and smart or attractive, (c) “Gethok Tular 1 ” is the most effective leadership strategy to strengthen the role of multi-stakeholder forum (MSF), and (d) the involvement of MSF members needs to be done selectively and effectively through the identification of TKU, intensive communication with TKU, identification of other figures, discussions, and sharing roles and strengthening MSF on an ongoing basis.

Abstract: This study aims at describing the problem and capacity of leadership, the role of excellent leadership, and its behaviors of Elementary School’s Principal in remote areas. This research used the qualitative approach with multi-sites study design. The data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation and it analyzed inductively using modified analytic. The results showed that; 1) Elementary schools in remote areas have similar relative leadership problems and capacity; 2) there is four dominant excellent leadership played by the principal in realizing an effective school, among others: spiritual leadership, transformational leadership, the leadership of learning, and leadership of enterprener. Keywords: superior leadership, elementary school, remote area Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan problem dan daya dukung kepemimpinan, peran kepemimpinan unggul, dan perilaku kepemimpinan unggul Kepala SD daerah terpencil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekata kualitatif dengan rancangan studi multisitus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam; observasi berperan serta; studi dokumentasi dan dianalisis secara induktif analitik yang dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; 1) SD di daerah terpencil memiliki problem dan dukungan kepemimpinan yang relatif sama; 2) terdapat empat kepemimpinan unggul dominan yang diperankan kepala sekolah dalam mewujudkan sekolah efektif, antara lain: kepemimpinan spiritual, kepemimpinan transformasional, kepemimpinan pembelajaran, dan kepemimpinan enterprener. Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dasar dalam latar budaya masyarakat Pendalungan, (2) mendeskripsikannilainilai yang diterapkan oleh sekolah dalam budaya masyarakat Pendalungan, (3) menemukenali model peningkatan profesionalisme guru yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dasar dalam latar budaya masyarakat Pendalungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologis sosiologis.Sumber data terdiri dari dua macam, yaitu insani (kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa) dan non insani (literatur dan bahan cetakan yang relevan). Teknikpengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian adalah (1)Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah bersifat terbuka, bijaksana dan berwibawa terutama dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan kebijakan yang dibuat dengan melibatkan seluruh guru, (2) nilai-nilai yang diterapkan oleh sekolah berdasarkan nilai budaya masyarakat Pendalungan dan nilai-nilai Islam, dan (3) pengembangan profesionalisme guru dalam rangka peningkatan kemampuan personel sekolah melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya dilakukan dalam berbagai teknik. This study used a qualitative approach, sociological phenomenological research. The data source consists of two kinds, human source (principals, teachers, and students), and non-human source (literature and relevant printed materials). The technique of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative method. This study aimed to describe nyantri (Islamic crash course) program as a leadership strategy adopted by school principals in strengthening the school organizational culture. This study used a qualitative approach via theoretical phenomenology orientation and a multicase design. The data collection was done through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The validity of the data was measured by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study found three models of Islamic crash course performed: tashih , that is, Al-Qur’an reading competence, taushiyah (Islamic lecture) of leadership values, and apprenticeship for the application of a santri ’s (Islamic crash course student) character values. The benefits for the teachers are the preservation of their Al-Qur’an reading competence and the improved intensity of the leadership and application of Islamic values, which form the school organizational culture. An integration of values rooted from the three models into the institutional vision could strengthen the school organizational culture to improve school achievement.

In several universities in Indonesia, lecturers are accustomed to developing learning outcomes' standards without the involvement of students in the formulation, although the students have many ideas about learning outcomes that are relevant to their needs. This study aimed to analyse the student learning outcomes' standards in a disruptive era based on the students' perspective from 9 faculties of several universities in Indonesia. The research method used was a quantitative approach, with 1059 student participants. Data were collected using a questionnaire with close-ended questions, and normality was analysed using the Shapiro-Wilk test and one-way analysis of variance test to determine the differences in learning outcomes' standards between faculties. The achievements of disruptive learning at several universities in Indonesia are relatively high. However, there is an extreme distance in the level of disruptive learning achievement between faculties, due to the diversity of lecturers in understanding disruptive learning.

Purpose: This study aims (1) to determine the ORS principals' excellence leadership factors in the digital age, (2) to explain the most dominant excellent leadership factor of the principals in the digital era, and (3) to determine the level of tendencies of each of the principals' excellent leadership strategies in the digital age. Research Methods: A quantitative approach is used in this research. This study's respondents were 147 school principals, teachers, school committees, supervisors, and education personnel in three districts and two provinces in Indonesia. The data analysis used was a factor and descriptive analysis. Findings: The results showed that (1) the excellence principal's leadership factors in the digital age were spiritual leadership, transformational leadership, instructional leadership, and entrepreneurial leadership, where spiritual leadership was the most dominant factor; and (2) The level of influence of each of these factors, from the highest, includes spiritual leadership, transformational leadership, instructional leadership, and entrepreneurial leadership. Implications for Research and Practice: The study's main findings indicate that spiritual leadership is the most determining factor in ORS principals' success in a rural area. The implication is that principals in rural areas should consider integrating spiritual leadership values in improving the schools' quality, especially in the digital age context.

Leaders who have a strong spirit and are creative, innovative and skilled are needed by one-roof schools, especially in realizing ideal curriculums and learning methods. The aim of this study is to describe the efforts of school principals in creating an ideal curriculum and the optimal method of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. It uses a qualitative approach with a multisite study research design. The location of this research is three one-roof schools in the Bondowoso Regency. Data collection was carried out by unstructured, in-depth, group interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The validity of the data was checked using data triangulation, member checks, discussions among members, and adequacy of reference materials. The data was analyzed using reduction analysis, presentation, verification, and drawing conclusions. Cross-site data analysis was carried out on a constant comparative basis. The results revealed that school principals employ varying strategies to achieve ideal learning, influenced by factors such as students, teachers, infrastructure, and local community conditions. The results also show that in order to realize an ideal curriculum and learning in one-roof schools, it is necessary to compile and implement learning in accordance with the conditions and readiness of students by including local knowledge and highlighting the principle of partnership with the community. This research offers practical guidance for policy makers and the school community in realizing ideal curriculums and learning methods, especially for schools in remote areas. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
