The presented article is based on the fact that the manufactured CNC machine tools are based on long-known design solutions, in which the main production material is steel. Based on the fact that the discovery of the composite material in science and technology opened up the hitherto unexplored application possibilities of this new technical material, the scientific question arose whether these materials can be used as a structural element of production machines and what are the advantages or disadvantages of such a solution. The Introduction of this article is devoted to the issue of composite materials, specifically mineral composites, technical and economic specifications. The main part of the article provides an overview of current trends in manufacturing technologies of CNC machine tools components.

This study deals with the influence of selected technological factors on hardness, surface quality and topography of substrates after 24 layers of NiCr plasma was self-peeled off. The paper also deals with frequency of self-peeling the layers and the SEM observation of the deposited layers and substrates. Presented procedures and experimental results demonstrate changes and resistance of individual materials after an application of 24 plasma coatings. Samples from materials duralumin, chromium steel and material with the coating Ni-Cu-Ni were tested. The least impact for surface changes of substrate had samples from chromium steel. For this reason, chromium steel samples were also tested and compared for self-peeling frequency with respect to the number of coating layers and angle of surface. The main objective of this work was to select material, angle of plasma spraying and surface cleanliness that will show the least change in hardness and roughness after multiple plasma spraying with respect to the longest life of the cover mask. Cover mask is necessary for covering required areas of steel tube that must not be affected by plasma spraying, for use in serial production.

The paper deals with the change of the surface properties of the substrate after the application of multiple plasma spraying NiCr. The influence of selected technological factors (substrate material, surface angle of the substrate and degreasing of the surface) on topography and surface quality of the substrates. Presented procedures and experimental results demonstrate surface resistance of individual materials from effect multiple plasma coatings. The best results of surface resistance have samples from chromium steel. In addition, the results of these experiments indicate which parameters are key in selecting the substrate material for the masking process in serial production of coatings by plasma spraying.
