The application of the public policy of aging and old age in the city of Bogotá in the last 10 years has forced people over 60 years to regularly undertake activities in which they worked for many years as employees. Other older adults have continued working to meet their basic needs. However, under this reference, the methodology used in the research was a mixed qualitative-quantitative approach because the two are of great importance to deduce whether the national public policy of aging has brought advantages or disadvantages to the development and/or continuity of the business plans being prepared by senior entrepreneurs.

La microeconomia suele ser vista por los estudiantes como una materia de alta complejidad, dificil de comprender, razon por la cual la presente nota de clase apunta a dar herramientas necesarias y suficientes para abordar la materia con mayor facilidad, explicadas a traves de un lenguaje claro y mediante el desarrollo de ejercicios paso a paso, cada tema, acompanado de ejercicios resueltos y de practica. En la primera unidad, se presentan los conceptos basicos de economia, que le permitiran al lector contar con una contextualizacion general de esta ciencia. En la segunda unidad, se abordara el tema del mercado con sus diferentes elementos y, finalmente en la tercera unidad, se estudiara el tema de la elasticidad, concepto muy importante en el estudio de la microeconomia.

The association of hyperprolactinemia over 100 ng/ml and a pituitary adenoma is usually diagnostic of prolactinoma. However type 3 pituitary adenomas can occur with similar serum prolactin values. We report a 31 years old woman that consulted due to headache and photopsiae. She had a serum prolactin level of 148 ng/ml and imaging studies showed a solid tumor that occupied the selar region and most of the left temporal fossa. The tumor was partially resected and the patient recovered her lost visual field. Light microscopy showed an acidophilic and in part chromophobe adenoma. Immuno-histochemistry was positive for prolactin and growth hormone. Electron microscopy disclosed features of a silent type 3 adenoma such as big cells with cytoplasmic prolongations, pleomorphic nuclei and a greatly developed rough endoplasmic reticulum.
