The PartnerREC network at the Geneva University Hospitals aims to facilitate the collaboration between researchers and patient partners in any type of clinical research, mainly those led at the HUG. It is the result of a coconstruction process initiated in 2019 by physicians, research professionals, cantonal research ethics committee members, a lawyer, and patient partners. The network implemented four initiatives: a) a website providing information to researchers and patients participating to research projects; b) personalized counseling for researchers to explore partnership opportunities in their own research projects; c) a training program related to patient partnership in research developed together with different partners in French-speaking Switzerland and d) its own research program on partnership in clinical research., Competing Interests: Les auteures font toutes partie du réseau PartnerREC.

Aims: This study was conducted to describe and compare nurses' and inpatients' perceptions of caring attitudes and behaviours in rehabilitation., Methods: A comparative descriptive design was used. Perceptions of caring attitudes and behaviours were compared between 34 nurses working in rehabilitation and 64 elderly patients, using the Caring Nurse Patient Inventory-23, to explore Watson's carative factors through four dimensions. Patients' and nurses' ratings of importance for each dimension were compared. The study data were collected from 8 November 2017 to 5 May 2018., Results: Patients' and nurses' responses showed high scores in terms of their perceptions of caring, with nurses having the higher scores, and significant differences were found between patients and nurses. Patients scored items linked to clinical aspects of caring as the most important, whereas nurses scored items linked to humanistic and clinical caring as equally important. Comfort care was considered important for nurses and patients. Both groups considered relational caring items as the least important., Conclusion: Results show that patients and nurses value clinical aspects of care, which is the visible aspect of care. A team of multi-specialized professionals meet annually on World Stroke Day, working to prevent and raise awareness of this condition. These professionals contribute to health education despite their lack of official training. Does the process used in the organization and implementation of the day enable the professionals involved to develop their educational skills ?The objectives of this research were to identify and categorize the educational skills developed during the process of organizing and implementing World Stroke Day, as well as to identify the elements of the process contributing to the development of these skills.In this descriptive qualitative study, the data were collected through a focus group with professionals involved in the day, and then subjected to a content analysis. This day enables professionals to develop their educational skills and gives them the opportunity to share what they have learned with others. The organization set up as part of this day is an opportunity to improve professionals' relationship to knowledge and their feeling of belonging. Interprofessionality and the learning context enable an educational attitude to be developed. Further research would help us to understand the transferability conditions of the process.

A stroke is a life threatening emergency requiring fast access to medical care and to a technical support centre. Health professionals are trained in the complexity of this care. Preventive care and educational activities are developed in emergency departments, notably in neurovascular units, thereby contributing to the prevention of complications and the risk of repeat strokes., (Copyright © 2015 Elsevier Masson SAS. Faced with a changed body, several nursing care interventions are possible in order to restore self-esteem. Relational and personal care techniques or other forms of body mediation are all tools which can be used in order to reposition the patients at the centre of the care.

Any change to the body can have repercussions on the person affected, not only psychological but also social and professional. Their image of their own body and their self-esteem are often disturbed. Numerous deliberations have been carried out on this subject with a view to placing the patient's body experience at the heart of the clinical approach.
