Achtergrond Religieuze copingstijlen laten zien hoe mensen omgaan met stressvolle gebeurtenissen vanuit hun religieuze achtergrond en geloofsrelatie met God. Doel Inzicht krijgen in hoe het religieuze copingproces samenhangt met de mentale gezondheid en toetsen of het gebruik van de copingstijlen verschilt voor christenen die wel/niet ggz-cliënt zijn.Methode De onderzoeksgroep bestond uit 655 Nederlandse personen met een christelijke levensbeschouwing. De leeftijd varieerde van 18 tot 79 jaar (M: 42,6; SD: 14,2), 60,9% was vrouw en 49,5% had minimaal een hbo-opleiding. Intra- en extramurale ggz-cliënten waren betrokken. Het betrof een crosssectionele online-enquête, gecombineerd met een bestaand cliëntendatabestand. Resultaten Een meer samenwerkende copingstijl ging gepaard met minder psychische klachten. Hoe meer de (passief-)afwachtende en zelfbesturende copingstijl werd gebruikt, hoe meer psychische klachten. Christelijke ggz-cliënten maakten significant minder gebruik van de samenwerkende en afwachtende religieuze copingstijl dan christelijke niet-ggz-cliënten. Conclusie De samenwerkende religieuze copingstijl hangt samen met een betere mentale gezondheid. Ggz-cliënten hanteren deze stijl minder dan niet-ggz-cliënten. Bewustwording van religieuze copingstijlen bij en passende ondersteuning door ggz-professionals zijn geïndiceerd.

This article describes a study in which the loads are assessed as calculated on a 10 MW wind turbine in response to extreme wind events on the North Sea. The turbine on which the loads are calculated is the 10 MW Reference Wind Turbine as designed in the EU project AVATAR (Sieros, et al., January 2015). The study is carried out within the Dutch national project DOWA in a cooperation between ECN part of TNO and Whiffle. The extreme wind events have been selected from a year-long simulation with the operational LES code GRASP from Whiffle (Gilbert, et al., 2019). GRASP is an atmospheric LES model nested in a global weather model which allows the detailed modelling of meteorological phenomena on a spatial and temporal grid resolution which is fine enough for aero-elastic load calculations. The resulting extreme wind events are then fed as wind input to the aero-elastic solver PHATAS from WMC (now LM) as used by ECN part of TNO (Lindenburg, 2005). PHATAS is coupled to the AeroModule which is a code with two aerodynamic models, a Blade Element Momentum (BEM) method and a Free Vortex Wake (FVW) method AWSM (Boorsma, Grasso, & Holierhoek, 2012). The calculated loads as response to these extreme wind events are compared with the loads from a reference design load spectrum which is available from the AVATAR project (Stettner, et al., April 2015) This reference design load spectrum is calculated with a conventional procedure along the IEC standards. By comparing the loads in response to the extreme events with those from the conventional design load spectrum, the importance of extreme wind events can be assessed for practical (load) purposes. The structure of the present article is as follows In section 3 a short description is given of the turbine on which the load calculations are performed. It also describes the location where the turbine is located. Section 4 describes the load modelling of extreme wind events. It explains the GRASP model and the selected extreme events with the validation using measurements. It also describes the rotor modelling from PHATAS and AeroModule and the interface between PHATAS and GRASP. Section 5 describes the calculation of the reference design load spectrum. In section 6 the comparison between the loads from the extreme events and those from the reference spectrum is given together with an evaluation of results. Special attention will be given to the analysis of results at an extreme Low Level Jet, since these events are often believed to have significant impact on turbine loading, see e.g. (Duncan, November 2018) Finally, in section 7 the conclusions and recommendations are given.

In recent years, smart contracts have suffered major exploits, cost- ing millions of dollars. Unlike traditional programs, smart contracts are deployed on a blockchain. As such, they cannot be modified once deployed. Though various tools have been proposed to detect vulnerable smart contracts, the majority fails to protect vulnera- ble contracts that have already been deployed on the blockchain. Only very few solutions have been proposed so far to tackle the issue of post-deployment. However, these solutions suffer from low precision and are not generic enough to prevent any type of attack. In this work, we introduce ÆGIS, a dynamic analysis tool that protects smart contracts from being exploited during runtime. Its capability of detecting new vulnerabilities can easily be extended through so-called attack patterns. These patterns are written in a domain-specific language that is tailored to the execution model of Ethereum smart contracts. The language enables the description of malicious control and data flows. In addition, we propose a novel mechanism to streamline and speed up the process of managing attack patterns. Patterns are voted upon and stored via a smart contract, thus leveraging the benefits of tamper-resistance and transparency provided by the blockchain. We compare ÆGIS to current state-of-the-art tools and demonstrate that our solution achieves higher precision in detecting attacks. Finally, we perform a large-scale analysis on the first 4.5 million blocks of the Ethereum blockchain, thereby confirming the occurrences of well reported and yet unreported attacks in the wild.

Er is echter betrekkelijk weinig (Nederlands) wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar deze begrippen gedaan. In dit verband richt ons onderzoek zich op verbale en visuele denkvoorkeuren en vaardigheden onder basisschoolleerlingen. In totaal hebben 556 leerlingen uit groep 6 en 7 deelgenomen. Zij maakten een aantal taken om hun visuele en verbale vaardigheden te meten en vulden een vragenlijst in over hun denkvoorkeuren. Allereerst is onderzocht of de voorkeur voor visueel en verbaal denken met de vragenlijst kon worden vastgesteld. Er werd een tweefactor structuur gevonden, met een visuele en verbale schaal. Ten tweede is gebleken dat voorkeuren en vaardigheden zeer zwak met elkaar samenhangen. Tot slot is onderzocht of visuele en verbale denkvoorkeuren en -vaardigheden een relatie vertoonden met woordlezen en spellen. Hoewel de correlaties laag waren, is de relatie tussen verbale vaardigheid en lezen/spellen relatief het sterkst. Dit strookt met de gedachte dat het niet zozeer een sterke visuele voorkeur of vaardigheid is die met leesof spellingproblemen samengaat, maar vooral de relatie met zwakkere verbale vaardigheden. English: In Dutch school practice, there is a reasonably lively interest in 'beelddenken’ (image thinking) and the related terms of image thinker or 'visualizer'. As scientific evidence for these concepts is scarce, the present research was conducted. Its goal was to study children with tests on visual and verbal thinking preferences and skills, and to establish their relationship with the academic subjects of word-reading and spelling skills. Participants were 556 children from grades 4 and 5 (Dutch grades 6 and 7). Visual and verbal skill tests were administered to the children, and they filled out a newly designed questionnaire about their thinking preferences. The results of the questionnaire indicated a two-factor structure: a verbal and a visual factor. Furthermore, scores on the questionnaire were not significantly correlated with scores on the (objective) verbal and visual skills tests. Finally, although the correlations between thinking preference and skill tests, and word-reading and spelling were generally low, the relationship between reading/spelling and the verbal skill measure was relatively high. This strengthens the idea that reading or spelling problems have not much to do with visual preferences or skills, but rather are related to weaker verbal skills. 19 p.

In this presentation the aero-elastic loads on a 10 MW turbine in response to unconventional wind conditions selected from a year long Large Eddy Simulation are evaluated. Thereto an assessment was made of the practical importance of these wind conditions within an aero-elastic context. Moreover the accuracy of BEM based methods for modelling such wind conditions was assessed. The study is carried out in a joint effort by the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands ECN.TNO and the Dutch meteorological consultancy company Whiffle within the project DOWA. Whiffle uses a Large Eddy Simulation (LES) model that is based on the Dutch Atmospheric Large Eddy Simulation (DALES) [1]. The LES code runs on Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and is therefore referred to as GRASP: GPU-Resident Atmospheric Simulation Platform [2]. GRASP can be run with boundary conditions from a large scale-weather model as described in [3]. For this study, GRASP has been run for the location of the Meteo Mast IJmuiden in the Dutch North Sea area with ERA5 boundary conditions. A full year of LES runs of 24 hours each has been performed on a resolution of 20m. From the results, a number of extreme wind events have been identified, including Low Level Jets, high shear, high veer, strong gusts, fast ramps and high turbulence cases. These cases have been re-run and used as boundary conditions for a higher resolution run in the concurrent precursor setting described in [4]. These extreme events are fed as a wind field to the AeroModule of ECN.TNO[5], i.e. an aerodynamic model coupled to a structural solver(PHATAS). The unique feature of the AeroModule lies in the easy switch between a BEM based model (i.e. an industrial design model) and a physical more accurate (but also more time consuming) free vortex wake (FVW) method. In this way the aero-elastic response is calculated with aero-models of different levels of fidelity where the same input assures that differences are caused by the aerodynamic modelling. The turbine on which the load calculations are performed is the AVATAR Reference Wind Turbine[6]. This a 10 MW turbine with a diameter of 206 meter, designed in the EU project AVATAR. All design data of this turbine are publicly available. The wind fields generated from Grasp have a period of 10 minute and a temporal resolution of 0.1 seconds and a spatial resolution of 5 meter. For the present turbine size and operational conditions this yields 20 elements per blade and an azimuthal resolution of approximately 6 degrees, i.e. a resolution which is sufficiently fine for aero-elastic calculations. The loads from the present study are compared with the loads of the original design load spectrum which are known from the AVATAR project. Finally a comparison is made between the aero-elastic loads calculated with the AeroModule BEM model and the AeroModule FVW model. OBJECTIVES The aims of the present study were to investigate the applicability of quantitative flow ratio (QFR) in patients with 3-vessel disease and to demonstrate the impact of functional SYNTAX (Synergy Between Percutaneous Coronary Intervention With Taxus and Cardiac Surgery) score derived from QFR (fSS(QFR)) on clinical outcomes.BACKGROUND The applicability of QFR in patients with 3-vessel disease and the feasibility of fSS(QFR) have not yet been investigated.METHODS All lesions interrogated using instantaneous wave-free ratio and/or fractional flow reserve in the SYNTAX II trial were retrospectively screened and analyzed for QFR. The diagnostic performance of QFR was investigated using hybrid wire-derived pressure assessment (instantaneous wave-free ratio and fractional flow reserve), used in the trial as a reference. Patients with analyzable QFR in 3 vessels were stratified according to fSS(QFR) to evaluate its clinical prognostic value on the basis of 2-year patient-oriented composite endpoint.RESULTS QFRs were analyzable in 71.0% of lesions (836 lesions). The diagnostic performance of QFR to predict binary wire-based ischemia was substantial (area under the curve 0.81, accuracy 73.8%), with a positive predictive value of 85.9%. Independent predictors of diagnostic discordance were lesions in side branches, involvement of bifurcation or trifurcation, and small vessel. According to the 2-year patient-oriented composite endpoint, fSS(QFR) reclassified 26.1% of the patients (36 of 138) in the high-to intermediate-risk group into the low-risk group appropriately (net reclassification improvement 0.32; p < 0.001). The area under the curve for fSS(QFR) to predict the 2-year patient-oriented composite endpoint was higher than that of the classic anatomic SYNTAX score (0.68 vs. 0.56; p = 0.002).CONCLUSIONS QFR demonstrated substantial applicability in patients with 3-vessel disease. The fSS(QFR) has the potential to further refine prognostic risk estimation compared with the classic anatomic SYNTAX score. (c) 2019 by the American College of Cardiology Foundation.

There is substantial evidence to support the claim that religion can protect against suicide ideation, suicide attempts, and completed suicide. There is also evidence that religion does not always protect against suicidality. More insight is needed into the relationship between suicidal parameters and dimensions of religion. A total of 155 in- and outpatients with major depression from a Christian Mental Health Care institution were included. The following religious factors were assessed: religious service attendance, frequency of prayer, religious salience, type of God representation, and moral objections to suicide (MOS). Multiple regression analyses were computed. MOS have a unique and prominent (negative) association with suicide ideation and the lifetime history of suicide attempts, even after controlling for demographic features and severity of depression. The type of God representation is an independent statistical predictor of the severity of suicide ideation. A positive-supportive God representation is negatively correlated with suicide ideation. A passive-distressing God representation has a positive correlation with suicide ideation. High MOS and a positivesupportive God representation in Christian patients with depression are negatively correlated with suicide ideation. Both are likely to be important markers for assessment and further development of therapeutic strategies.
