Sumatra is the second largest island that is fully within Indonesian territory, but it is one of the most poorly explored areas for species diversity of the family Lecithoceridae, with less than 10 known species. In the present paper, six new species of Thubana Walker, 1864 (T. sumatrana sp. nov., T. spiniosa sp. nov., T. lata sp. nov., T. prapatensis sp. nov., T. siantarensis sp. nov., and T. selenisa sp. nov.) and three new species of Torodora Meyrick (T. diehliella sp. nov., T. exilivalvata sp. nov., and T. squariella sp. nov.) are described from Sumatra. In addition, Thubana ochracea Park & Abang, 2005, which was described from Sarawak, Malaysia, is reported for the first time from Sumatra. Illustrations of adults and genitalia of all new species are given. A list of the known species of the subfamily Torodorinae from Indonesia is provided.

The Eurasian apple, birch forest, and hawthorn pest moth, Choreutis pariana (Clerck) (Choreutidae), is newly reported from Korea. A larva of the species was reared from Betula davurica Pall.

The type material of Diduga costata Moore, [1887], D. flavicostata (Snellen, 1879), D. fulvicosta Hampson, 1891, D. barlowi Holloway, 2001, and D. zetes Bucsek, 2014 are presented. Three new species are described based on the genitalia of type specimens from Indonesia (Sulawesi) and Laos. Three new combinations and one new synonym are established. An updated checklist of known species of the genus are presented with information of depositors and distributions. Illustrations of the adults and genitalia of the type materials and examined species are provided.

We provide a list of 54 species of the tortricid tribe Archipini documented from Taiwan, five of which are newly recorded for Taiwan: Adoxophyes flagransMeyrick, 1912, Archips asiaticusWalsingham, 1900, Daemilus fulvus (Filipjev, 1962), Gnorismoneura taeniodesma (Meyrick, 1934), and Pandemis ignescana (Kuznetsov, 1976). This is also the first record of the genus DaemilusYasuda, 1972 in Taiwan. Images of the adults and genitalia are provided for the newly recorded species.

The genus Ukamenia Oku (1981) was proposed with Simaethis sapporensis Matsumura (1931) from Japan as its type species, which had been originally described in the family Choreutidae. Oku (1981) based the new genus on characters of S. sapporensis that were typical of Tortricidae rather than Choreutidae, notably the naked haustellum (scaled in Choreutidae), among many other characters differing between the two families, such as wing venation, head morphology, and genital form. Oku (1981) assigned his new genus to the tribe Olethreu­tini, but mentioned that it resembled the genus Gatesclarkeana Diakonoff, 1966. In her extensive study of Australian Olethreutinae, Horak (2006) briefly noted Ukamenia as being referable to Gateclark­eanini.

Eight new species of Promalactis were discovered from Indonesia: Promalactis diazomatis sp. nov., Promalactis hamatella sp. nov., Promalactis ingenticula sp. nov., Promalactis laetusella sp. nov., Promalactis latifundus sp. nov., Promalactis minutispina sp. nov., Promalactis mooatana sp. nov. and Promalactis trigonilancis sp. nov. Illustrations of adults and genitalia of the new species and taxonomic information for the six previously known species from Indonesia are provided. In this study, species of the genus Promalactis found in Cambodia are reviewed for the first time. Five new species, P. infundibulina sp. nov., P. prolixa sp. nov., P. seimana sp. nov., P. serratiola sp. nov., P. spiraliola sp. nov., are described. Promalactis albisquama Kim and Park is also newly discovered in Cambodia. Banisia myrsusalis Walker (Lepidoptera: Thyrididae) has been regarded as the most damaging pest of sapodilla, Manilkara zapota (L.) van Royen (Sapotaceae), in Florida, where it causes extensive damage to blooms. Two commercial sapodilla groves were surveyed for lepidopteran eggs and larvae affecting floral buds and mature flowers. All collected specimens were raised in the laboratory until adult emergence. A careful revision of reared individuals and specimens deposited in institutional collections since 1990 brought into question the identity of Banisia species affecting sapodilla in southern Florida. Specimens initially identified as B. myrsusalis are herein re-identified as Banisia argutula Whalley, based on female and male genitalic characters. Total DNA was extracted from 2 specimens raised in the survey and the COI gene sequence determined and deposited in GenBank. Larvae of B. argutula were observed chewing holes in the base of floral buds or mature flowers, entering the flower, and consuming all floral structures except the sepals. A single larva would tend to clump several flowers and floral buds together by using silk. Larvae could also fold leaves or bore into the fruit and could complete their immature development feeding on folded leaves, flowers, or inside a fruit. In contrast, B. myrsusalis is reported as strictly a leaf-folder. Banisia myrsusalis was found to be a minor part of the sapodilla pest complex. Banisia argutula was the dominant sapodilla borer in southern Florida. Todos los especimenes colectados fueron criados en el laboratorio hasta la emergencia del adulto. Una revision minuciosa de los especimenes criados y de los especimenes depositados en colecciones institucionales desde 1990, puso en cuestion la identidad de la especie de Banisia que afectaba al zapote en el sur de Florida. Especimenes identificados inicialmente como B. myrsusalis son aqui re-identificados como Banisia argutula Whalley basado en las caracteristicas de la genitalia del macho y la hembra. El ADN total fue extraido de dos especimenes criados en el estudio y la secuencia de COI fue determinada y depositada en GeneBank. Las larvas de B. argutula fueron observadas masticando agujeros en la base de los brotes florales y flores maduras, entrando a las flores y consumiendo todas las estructuras florales excepto los sepalos. Una simple larva tiende a agrupar varias flores y brotes florales usando seda. Las larvas pueden incluso enrollar las hojas o perforar dentro de los frutos, y pueden completar su desarrollo inmaduro alimentandose de hojas dobladas, flores o dentro de un fruto. An inventory of the wasp-moths Ctenuchina and Euchromiina (Erebidae) was done for the Tumilco Mangrove, Tuxpan, Northern Veracruz, Mexico. Moth collecting was carried out between September, 2006 and June, 2007 with 20 field trips and with an effort of collection of 140 hours of night work and 140 hours of day collections, adding up to 280 hours of effective work in the field. Two types of collection techniques were used: butterfly nets and mercury light traps, the latter being placed during new moon time. Thirteen species were found: three of them in Ctenuchina and ten in Euchromiina. The month with greater richness and abundance was October.

Represents the first comprehensive study of these moths in North America north of Mexico using modern systematic procedures involving assessment of a number of morphological and biological characters in relation to their phylogenetic status. This study also represents a worldwide generic study made in conjunction with the revision of the North American species, primarily to ascertain realistic generic limits and the placement of the various genera once included in the heterogeneous concept of the family. Extralimital genera are noted in a catalog of generic names associated with the Glyphipterigidae.

The information provided in this document is the result of a two-year study to document insects and insect-transmitted diseases that may have to be considered as pests to this potential crop for Florida (Figure 1). This list of plant and insect feeders will also serve as a reference to help growers, scouts and home gardeners determine which insects they may find on faba beans. A new species, Grapholita diehli n. sp., is described and illustrated from northern Sumatra, Indonesia. Among numerous new species of Tortricidae from Indonesia is one represented by a single specimen collected in Sumatra in 1992. Extensive sampling by many collectors over the past two centuries has resulted in no additional specimens of this unusual moth. The new species is the first described tortricid with a large light area apically in the hindwing; numerous other species have the hindwing highlighted overall, only basally, or not at all. The more typical condition is uniformly colored hindwings.

Sorolopha angustorbis, new species, is described from Taiwan. The adult and genitalia are illustrated.

Prophaecasia malawiana, n. sp., is described from Malawi, and Anthozela usambarae Razowski & Wojtusiak, 2014, from Malawi, is transferred to Prophaecasia resulting in the new combination Prophaecasia usambarae (Razowski & Wojtusiak, 2014).

Two new species of Torodora (Meyrick) (Lepidoptera, Gelechioidea, Lecithoceridae) are described from Taiwan, i.e., T. meifengensis Park, sp. nov., and T. parasciadosa Park, sp. nov., and two additional species are reported from Taiwan for the first time, i.e., T. frustrans (Diakonoff, 1952) and T. flavescens Gozmany, 1978. The female of T. frustrans, described from males collected in Myanmar, is described and illustrated for the first time. Adults, labial palpi, venation, genitalia, and abdominal tergites of the species are illustrated.

Mexico contains a large diversity of Lepidoptera (14,385 spp.), but it is a contradiction that only two species of butterflies are officially protected and moths are not even contemplated for protection. Among the 240 known species of Mexican wasp moths 10 are endemic to the country. Herein we update the knowledge of the geographical distribution of the wasp moth, Cyanopepla griseldis (Druce 1884) (Lepidoptera: Erebidae: Arctiinae: Ctenuchina), which is endemic to the mountains of central Mexico. We also evaluated C. griseldis's current vulnerability, using a method that allowed us to categorize it as “threatened” based on the corresponding equivalent designation in the Official Mexican Norm for Species Protection (NOM-059). We also propose that the taxon should be included in the Official Mexican Norm for Species Protection.

The genus Torodora (Lepidoptera: Lecithoceridae) in Cambodia is reviewed, based on material collected by the authors during 2009–2011. Eight species are recognized, including three new species: T. osamensis Park, sp. nov., T. occidentalis Park, sp. nov. and T. cambodiana Park, sp. nov. In addition, five species of the genus; T. parotidosa (Wu), T. nabiella Park, T. aritai Park, T. sagmaria Park and T. pentagona Park, are reported for the first time from Cambodia. The female of T. parotidosa is described for the first time. Lepidozonates gen. nov. is described, with description of three new species: L. viciniolus Park, sp. nov. from Thailand, L. tenebrosellus Park, sp. nov. from Taiwan and L. prominens Park, sp. nov. from Cambodia and Thailand. The new genus is characterized by having the specialized plumose corematal scales developed on the pleural membrane of the abdominal segments IV–VI in the male, and the venation of both wings also differs from those of the allied genera, e.g., Deltoplastis Meyrick, Torodora Meyrick or Thubana Walker of the subfamily Torodorinae.

Two species of Lecithoceridae (Lepidoptera, Gelechioidea), Caveana senuri sp. n. and Lecithocera dondavisi sp. n., are described from Taiwan. The monotypic Caveana Park was described from Thailand, based on C. diemseoki Park, 2011. Lecithocera Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 is the most diverse genus of the family, comprising more than 300 species worldwide. L. dondavisi sp. n. is the largest species of the genus so far, and closely resembles the Indian species, L. praeses Meyrick, 1919. A revised check list of the family in Taiwan is provided.

Vietnam micro-moths remain poorly known, and new species are discovered year after year among the Tortricidae (Kuznetzov 1992, 2000; Razowski 2003, 2008; Heppner 2010; Heppner and Bae 2015a, b) and other families (e.g., Park et al. 2007). Razowski (2009) described the genus Fansipaniana for a single new species from the high mountains in northern Vietnam close to the border with China. Recent exploration of many areas in Vietnam has resulted in the discovery of a second species of Fansipan-iana from a lower elevation mountain range near Hanoi. The new species is from Tam Dao, one of the most well known sites in Vietnam for moth collecting.
