Bakgrunn: Vold og trusler mot sykepleiere er et økende problem, med store konsekvenser både menneskelig og samfunnsøkonomisk, og er en betydelig risikofaktor for langtids sykefravær. Det mangler fortsatt kunnskap om sykepleieres opplevelser av vold og trusler i somatiske sykehus, hvor dette temaet er tilegnet lite oppmerksomhet. Hensikt: Studiens hensikt er å løfte frem den erfaringsbaserte kunnskap sykepleiere har om opplevelser knyttet til hendelser med vold og trusler. På denne måten kan dette bidra til den totale kunnskapsbaserte praksis i arbeidet med forebygging og håndtering av vold og trusler mot sykepleiere. Metode: Studien baserer seg på kvalitativ metode, hvor datainnsamlingen ble gjennomført ved hjelp av semistrukturerte intervjuer med seks sykepleiere fra ulike enheter i fire sykehus. Dataanalysen ble gjennomført ved bruk av STC (systematisk tekstkondensering). Resultater: Studien viser at vold og trusler mot sykepleiere er et økende problem. Informantene opplever vold og trusler som negativt for deres psykiske helse og opplevde sikkerhet på arbeidsplassen. Det er i tillegg funn som viser at vold og trusler kan ha negativ innvirkning på sykepleieres relasjon til pasientene og tjenestekvalitet. Opplevelse av avmakt er sentralt i funnene og kan forstås både som årsak til – og konsekvens av vold og trusler. Konklusjon: Studien viser at vold og trusler har negativ innvirkning på sykepleierne og deres yrkesutøvelse, og har store menneskelige og samfunnsøkonomiske konsekvenser. Det må i større grad settes fokus på forebygging og håndtering av vold og trusler mot sykepleiere, både i utdanning og på den enkelte arbeidsplass. ABSTRACT Background: Violence and threats against nurses are a growing problem, with major consequences both humanly and socio-economically, and are a significant risk factor for long-term sickness absence. There is still a lack of knowledge about nurses' experiences of violence and threats in somatic hospitals, where this topic has received little attention. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to highlight the experience-based knowledge nurses have about experiences related to incidents of violence and threats. In this way, this can contribute to the overall knowledge-based practice in the work of preventing and dealing with violence and threats against nurses. Method: The study is based on a qualitative method, where the data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews with six nurses from different units in four hospitals. The data analysis was performed using STC (systematic text condensation). Results: The study shows that violence and threats against nurses are a growing problem. The informants experience violence and threats as negative for their mental health and perceived safety in the workplace. There are also findings that show that violence and threats can have a negative impact on nurses' relationship with patients and quality of service. The experience of powerlessness is central to the findings and can be understood both as a cause of - and a consequence of - violence and threats. Conclusion: The study shows that violence and threats have a negative impact on nurses and their professional practice, and have major human and socio-economic consequences. Greater focus must be placed on the prevention and management of violence and threats against nurses, both in education and in the individual workplace. Due to little difference in the outcome data between the various therapy models there has been a growing interest in therapy-integration and the underlying mechanisms that explain the factors of change in psychotherapy. Focus on feelings is one such mechanism where the well-known window of tolerance functions as a supportive conceptual framework. Polyvagal theory has been an inspiration for the development of this framework and also serves as an explanatory theory. Less known is the theory of pathways of anxiety developed by Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy. This theory has explained and operationalized three different ways anxiety is channeled in the body and their corresponding relationship to dimensions such as emotional access, defense mechanisms, self-observation, and different categories of somatic disorders. This paper will take a closer look at the intersection between these two theories and the concrete contributions from Intensive short-term dynamic psychotherapy to the clinical understanding of the window of tolerance. Finally it will suggest some research directions involving heart rate variability as it is considered an objective measure of autonomic function and emotion regulation. Som følge av liten forskjell i utfallsdata mellom de ulike terapimodellene har det vært en voksende interesse for terapi-integrasjon og de underliggende mekanismene som kan forklare endringsfaktorer i psykoterapi. Fokus på følelser er en slik mekanisme, hvor det velkjente toleransevinduet fungerer som et støttende konseptuelt rammeverk. Polyvagal teorien har vært en inspirasjon i utviklingen av dette rammeverket og fungerer også som en forklarende teori. Mindre kjent er angstkanaliseringsteorien utviklet av Intensiv dynamisk korttidsterapi. Denne teorien har forklart og operasjonalisert tre forskjellige måter angst kanaliseres i kroppen samt deres sammenfallende relasjon til dimensjoner som emosjonell tilgang, forsvarsmekanismer, selvobservasjon og ulike kategorier av somatiske plager. Denne artikkelen vil se nærmere på hvordan to teoriene kan belyse hverandre og hvordan Intensiv dynamisk korttidsterapi kan bidra til en utvidet klinisk forståelse av toleransevinduet. Avslutningsvis vil den foreslå fremtidig forskning som involverer hjerteratevariabilitet da dette ansees som et objektiv mål på autonom funksjon og emosjonsregulering. Dette er et hovedprosjektet som har gått ut på å lage en webapplikasjon for innkjøpssamarbeid beregnet på Bygger’n butikkene i Valdres. Poenget med denne applikasjonen er å oppnå lavere innkjøpskostnader ved at bedriftene samarbeider om innkjøpene. Et slikt samarbeid vil føre til at varene kan bestilles i større kvanta og bedriftene oppnår dermed kvantumsrabatter. I tillegg vil det gi de forskjellige bedriftene mulighet til å utnytte hverandres rabattavtaler. Gruppen har brukt PHP som programmeringsspråk, og for lagring av dataene er databasen MySQL benyttet.

Using a panel of manufacturing plants we study how payroll taxes and investment subsidies affect wages and demand for labor and capital. We exploit the regional subsidy schemes for labor and capital in Norway. Our empirical analysis finds that a large part of changes in payroll taxes is shifted over to wages. This result suggests that changes in payroll taxes have a limited direct effect on employment. Our study of investment subsidies finds evidence of substitution between labor and capital, with an elasticity of substitution of about 0.4 at the plant level. Considering the observed patterns of R&D investment, we argue that a model which allows for a positive feedback from already acquired knowledge to the productiveness of current research, fits the empirical evidence better than the standard model that treats knowledge accumulation symmetrically to the accumulation of physical capital. We present an econometric framework consistent with a positive feedback in the accumulation of R&D capital. The empirical model is econometrically simple and less data-demanding than the standard framework. Our estimates show a significant positive effect of R&D on performance and a positive feedback effect from the stock of knowledge capital. We calculate the depreciation rate and the rate of return to knowledge capital for our alternative framework, and compare our estimated rate of return to results obtained within the standard framework.

This paper investigates the relationship between a firm's investment decision and its financial situation. We present a model of investment, where the cost of external finance is increasing in the debt ratio. The model is estimated using a panel of Norwegian manufacturing establishments for the period 1977-1990. The empirical analysis finds a positive relationship between a firm's debt ratio and its marginal return to capital. This indicates that firms with high debt ratios have higher costs of finance than other firms. Including convex adjustment costs in the model did not change this result, as the size of the adjustment costs was found to be very small. Norges forskningsråd

Fugler kan dø i møte med kraftledninger, enten på grunn av kollisjon med linene eller som følge av strømgjennom gang (elektrokusjon). Faren for kollisjon er til stede for alle typer kraftledninger, men når det gjelder elektrokusjon er det i hovedsak 22 kV-ledninger (distribusjonsnettet) som er farlige. For enkelte arter kan kraftledninger utgjøre en bety delig dødsårsak. Det finnes en rekke tiltak som kan iverksettes for å redusere faren for at fugl dør i møte med kraftledninger. Denne brosjyren er en sammenstilling av ulike tiltak som kan utføres ved bygging og planlegging av nye ledninger eller som avbøtende tiltak på eksisterende ledninger.
