Objective. To study the changes of macular retinal thickness and microvascular system in children with monocular hyperopic anisometropia and severe amblyopia using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) and to explore the value of OCTA in the diagnosis and treatment of amblyopia. Methods. Thirty-two children with monocular hyperopic anisometropia and severe amblyopia who were treated in the Department of Ophthalmology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical College from January 2020 to December 2020 were included in the study. Eyes with amblyopia ( n = 32 ) served as the experimental group, and the contralateral healthy eyes ( n = 32 eyes) served as the control group. All children underwent comprehensive ophthalmological examination including slit lamp, eye position, visual acuity, optometry, eye movement, intraocular pressure, ocular axis, and fundus examination to rule out organic lesions. Macular 6 mm × 6 mm scans were performed on both eyes of all subjects by the same experienced clinician using an OCTA instrument. After ImageJ processing, the vessel density, inner layer, and full-layer retinal thickness (RT) of superficial retinal capillary plexus (SCP) were obtained. All data were analyzed by SPSS21.0 software, and a paired t -test was used for comparison between groups. P < 0.05 was considered to indicate statistical significance. Results. The vessel densities of macular SCP in the amblyopia and control groups were 47.66 ± 2.36 % and 50.37 ± 2.24 % in the outer superior, 49.19 ± 2.64 % and 51.44 ± 2.44 % in the inner inferior, 49.63 ± 2.51 % and 51.41 ± 3.03 % in the outer inferior, and 45.56 ± 3.44 % and 50.44 ± 3.52 % in the outer temporal regions, respectively. The vessel density of macular SCP in the amblyopia group was significantly lower than that in contralateral healthy eyes in the outer superior, inner inferior, outer inferior, outer temporal, and central regions. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the inner superior, inner nasal, outer nasal, and inner temporal regions. The macular RT in the amblyopia group and the control group is 90.38 ± 6.09 μm and 87.56 ± 5.55 μm in the outer temporal, respectively. The RT in the macular inner layer in the outer temporal region of the amblyopia group was thicker than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). There was no significant difference in the other eight regions between the two groups. The whole macular RT in the amblyopia group was thicker than that in the control group in nine regions, and the central area of macular RT in the amblyopia and control groups was 229.06 ± 6.70 μm and 214.50 ± 10.36 μm, respectively. Conclusion. The OCTA results showed the overall RT of macula in 9 areas in the amblyopia group was thicker than that in the control group, which could show that the macular retinal thickness can be a potential way to distinguish the children with monocular hyperopic anisometropia and severe amblyopia.

Liquid noble gases are widely used as targets in low background search experiments, particularly in direct dark matter search experiments. 83mKr is an excellent low-energy internal calibration source for future larger liquid noble gas detectors. To calibrate liquid argon detector with 83mKr in different drift fields and to study the correlation between light yield and drift fields. A dual-phase LAr prototype detector was designed to study the 83mKr responses in liquid argon. 83mKr atoms are produced through the decay of 83Rb and introduced into the LAr detector through the circulating purification system. We report that the light yield reaches 7.26 ± 0.02 pe/keV for 41.5 keV from 83mKr and 7.66 ± 0.01 pe/keV for 511 keV from 22Na, as a comparison. After stopping the fill, the rate decays of 83mKr are with a fitted half-life of 1.83 ± 0.11 h, which is consistent with the reported value of 1.83 ± 0.02 h. The light yield that varies with the drift electric field from 0 to 200 V/cm has also been reported.

We propose to measure the coherent elastic neutrino nucleus scattering (CE$\nu$NS) using a dual-phase liquid argon time projection chamber (TPC) with 200kg fiducial mass. The detector is expected to be adjacent to the JUNO-TAO experiment and to be about 35m from a reactor core with 4.6GW thermal power at Taishan. The antineutrino flux is approximately 6$\times10^{12}$cm$^{-1}$s$^{-1}$ at this location, leading to more than 11,000 coherent scattering events per day in the fiducial mass. However, the nuclear recoil energies concentrate in the sub-keV region, corresponding to less than ten ionisation electrons in the liquid argon. The detection of several ionisation electrons can be achieved in the dual-phase TPC due to the large amplification in the gas region. With a feasible detection threshold of four ionisation electrons, the signal rate is 955 per day. The detector is designed to be shielded well from cosmogenic backgrounds and ambient radioactivities to reach a 16% background-to-signal ratio in the energy region of interest. With the large CE$\nu$NS sample, the expected sensitivity of measuring the weak mixing angle $\sin^{2}\theta_{W}$, and of limiting the neutrino magnetic moment are discussed. The disappearance of reactor $$\bar{\nu }_e$$ ν ¯ e observed by the Daya Bay experiment is examined in the framework of a model in which the neutrino is described by a wave packet with a relative intrinsic momentum dispersion $$\sigma _\mathrm{{rel}}$$ σ rel . Three pairs of nuclear reactors and eight antineutrino detectors, each with good energy resolution, distributed among three experimental halls, supply a high-statistics sample of $$\bar{\nu }_e$$ ν ¯ e acquired at nine different baselines. This provides a unique platform to test the effects which arise from the wave packet treatment of neutrino oscillation. The modified survival probability formula was used to fit Daya Bay data, providing the first experimental limits: $$2.38 \times 10^{-17}< \sigma _\mathrm{{rel}} < 0.23$$ 2.38 × 10 - 17 < σ rel < 0.23 . Treating the dimensions of the reactor cores and detectors as constraints, the limits are improved: $$10^{-14} \lesssim \sigma _\text {rel} < 0.23$$ 10 - 14 ≲ σ rel < 0.23 , and an upper limit of $$\sigma _\text {rel}

Apoptosis plays a crucial role in many biological processes, including development, cellular homeostasis and immune responses. The BCL-2 family is a key regulator of the mitochondrial response to apoptotic signals in the intrinsic pathway. In this study, we identified and characterized the cDNA and expression pattern of pufferfish BCL-2 (PfBCL-2). The full-length cDNA of PfBCL-2 was 1412 bp with an open reading frame of 657 bp encoding a putative protein of 219 amino acids (Accession no: KP898414). The calculated molecular mass of the PfBCL-2 was 24.2 kDa with a predicted isoelectric point of 5.27. The deduced PfBCL-2 protein exhibited four highly conserved BCL-2 homology domains, suggesting that PfBCL-2 may play a similar role in the apoptotic-signaling pathway as in other species. Real-time PCR results showed that PfBCL-2 transcript was expressed in a wide range of tissues but exhibited the greatest level of expression in blood. Transcriptional responses of PfBCL-2 exhibited different spatial and temporal expression profiles in liver and blood after bacterial infection. PfBcl-2 transcript was significantly up-regulated in liver at 6, 12, 24 and 48 h (with maximum induction at 48 h) and was up-regulated in blood at 3, 6, 12 and 24 h (with maximum induction at 12 h). Meanwhile, recombinant PfBCL-2 fused with His6 tag was efficiently expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3) and purified using Ni-nitrilotriacetic acid resin. Western blot analysis indicated that its protein level appeared to be elevated during the initial bacterial infection. These results suggest that PfBCL-2 plays important roles in immune responses against bacteria challenge.

Through EPGIS, the power grid spatial data, accounting data and business process data are integratedly modeled and managed to form an integrated resource management map of electricity resources and spatial information that can support various activities of the grid and serve relevant businesses. However, due to the existing update and maintenance methods, there are some problems such as unsound update mechanism, cumbersome acquisition process, low efficiency, over-reliance on GPS, lack of security and other issues, seriously restricting the quality and safety of power grid resource information updates. In this paper, a general technical framework of power grid spatial information security management is proposed. Security design is carried out from three aspects: data layer, logical layer and presentation layer. EPGIS data processing security protection tool and application security protection tool are also designed. The mechanism achieved multi-dimensional, all-round security for EPGIS.

The adsorption isotherms and kinetics of nickel ion onto commercial activated carbons were determined and investigated under different temperature and initial pH in solution. The pore size distribution, specific surface area and functional groups of activated carbons were characterized by N2 adsorption isotherms and Boehm titration. The results showed that the nickel ion adsorption property of activated carbon from precursors including anthracite, long flame coal, lignite and coconut were 4.9, 3.4, 4.1, 5.2mg/g, respectively. There was no obvious correlation with surface area, total volume or surface functional group value. The nickel ion adsorption isotherms and kinetics fitted the Langmuir isotherm and pseudo-second-order model very well. The adsorption was a spontaneous endothermic process, in which the adsorption took place primarily due to the ion-exchange action in low concentration of 50mg/L. On the other hand, the adsorption depended on the physical adsorption when the concentration100mg/L. The nickel ion adsorption capacity was highly affected by solution pH, and the optimum initial pH ranged was from 4 to 7.
