Abstract

In this study, we report a Rh(I)/dppf catalytic system that can tune the regioselectivity of methylenecyclobutanes. Under the optimal reaction conditions, a series of 1,3‐disubstituted cyclobutanes were prepared in high yields (up to 95%) with excellent regioselectivity (>20:1 r.r.). Scale‐up synthesis of the cyclobutane product at a low catalyst loading (2 mol%) demonstrates the robustness of this dppf‐controlled hydroacylation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Due to its development agility, continuous delivery, scalability and other characteristics, the microservice architecture systems (MASs) have provided complex business functions to hundreds of millions of users in many application fields. The operation and maintenance governance for a large number of microservices with complex relationships is crucial to ensuring the stability and reliability of an MAS. Although this research field has received certain attention and produced some innovative results, there is a lack of systematic reviews covering the different aspects of it. In this context, the central objective of this study is to carry out a systematic literature review (SLR) in this field, in an attempt to review existing issues, discuss the main trends, and share the findings with the academia. As a result, we start from more than 500 scientific papers published from 2009 to 2021 and extract 144 most significant papers, identify that the main research directions of this field include load balancing, fault detection, and autoscaling. Subsequently, we provide a comprehensive description of these research directions, discuss them in particular detail. We also determine limitations of current work and discuss new directions worth exploring in the future. Consequently, the outcomes will assist professionals and experts in the industry as well as academic researchers to focus more on operation and maintenance governance of MASs and further improve the relevant methods and theoretical systems in this field. The review designs an effective review research scheme as shown in the figure and starts from more than 500 scientific papers published from 2009 to 2021 and extracts 139 most significant papers, identifying that the main research directions of this field of MASs include load balancing, fault detection, and autoscaling. Subsequently, we provide a comprehensive description of these research directions and discuss them in particular detail. Abstract

Saloma [Opt. Lett. 20, 1943 (1995)] proposed the concept of mirrors with point-spread functions that exhibit wavelet-related characteristics. We propose novel filters with wavelet point-spread functions. The mirrors are suggested to reform not only the phases of optical waves, but also the filters for amplitude. The transmittance functions of the filters, which are real and positive under some conditions, are given. Optical wavelet transforms can easily be made with these filters, and computer simulations for edge and corner extractions are given. Abstract

Architecture is defined as the structure of components, their relationships, and the principles and guidelines governing their design and evolution over time. Consistency checking is one important work in C4ISR system architecture designing. At present, there is a little of the research on the consistency checking of C4ISR architecture. The paper introduces the conception of structural consistency in assigning activities of OV5 to nodes of OV2 at first and classifies structural consistency into three cases: replaceable assignment, redundant assignment and conflicted assignment. The formal definitions are given. Based on graph theory, the inconsistencies could be looked up by the paths length checking in the combined graph which depicts the structural relationship of OV2 and OV5. The algorithms for consistency checking are presented. It will help to enhance the quality and efficiency of C4ISR architecture.

21. Trough concentration and ABCG2polymorphism are better to predict imatinib response in chronic myeloid leukemia: a meta-analysis

Abstract

Aim:The present study aimed to conduct a series of meta-analyses to investigate the influence of imatinib trough concentration (C0), as well as ABCB1and ABCG2polymorphisms, on the clinical response in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Methods:A literature search was conducted using the PubMed and Cochrane electronic databases to locate relevant papers from 2003 onward. Then, an initial meta-analysis of 14 studies involving 2184 patients was conducted to understand the effect of imatinib mesylate (IM) C0on clinical outcome in CML patients. Subsequently, a series of meta-analyses were performed, including up to 23 studies with 2577 patients, on the effect of genetic polymorphisms of ABCB1 and ABCG2 on the clinical response to IM. Results:Meta-analysis revealed that patients who achieved a major molecular response (MMR) have a significantly higher IM C0than those who failed to achieve an MMR. We also found that the patients who achieved a complete cytogenic response (CCyR) have a significantly higher IM C0than those who did not achieve a CCyR. However, no significant difference in IM C0was found between the complete molecular response and non-complete molecular response groups. Additional analysis showed that ABCG2421 variant A allele was significantly associated with a higher rate of MMR and overall response, especially in Asian patients. Meta-analysis did not reveal a correlation between ABCB1C3435T and C1236T polymorphisms with any clinical response to IM. However, the G2677T/A polymorphism could play a role in IM response in the recessive model. Conclusion:This meta-analysis demonstrates that there was a significant correlation between the IM trough concentration and clinical responses, especially MMR and CCyR, in CML patients. Furthermore, we found that the probability of successful treatment was correlated with the ABCG2C421A polymorphism, at least within the Asian population. We failed to determine an association between ABCB1polymorphisms and IM response, although the G2677T/A polymorphism might be involved. However, further large-scale investigations using more sensitive genotyping methods would be required to confirm this.
