Abstract

High-strength aluminum alloy have become one of the most commonly used metal materials for aerospace and automotive application parts due to its high strength， low density， excellent ductility and corrosion resistance. Wire arc additive manufacturing （WAAM） has the ability to rapidly in-situ form and manufacture complex structural parts， and is very suitable for the manufacturing of medium or large high-strength aluminium alloy parts. The current status of high-strength aluminum alloy WAAM processes and equipment， the inherent properties and defects of high-strength aluminum alloy WAAM， and the main performance optimization methods were comprehensively analyzed in this paper. The inherent characteristics of the microstructure and properties as well as the impact of hybrid additive manufacturing technologies on the microstructure and properties were discussed. Opinions are put forward on issues such as metallurgical defects， characteristic performance requirements， the advantages and disadvantages of various optimization processes in WAAM. Development directions such as a comprehensive evaluation system， composition design and wire development， special heat treatment systems and synergy of composite additive manufacturing technology are proposed. Such proposals are expected to provide references for the performance improvement and application promotion of high-strength aluminum alloys manufactured via WAAM.

Abstract

Recent technological developments allow us to measure the status of dozens of proteins in individual cells. This opens the way to understand the heterogeneity of complex multi-signaling networks across cells and cell types, with important implications to understand and treat diseases such as cancer. These technologies are, however, limited to proteins for which antibodies are available and are fairly costly, making predictions of new markers and of existing markers under new conditions a valuable alternative. To assess our capacity to make such predictions and boost further methodological development, we organized the Single Cell Signaling in Breast Cancer DREAM challenge. We used a mass cytometry dataset, covering 36 markers in over 4,000 conditions totaling 80 million single cells across 67 breast cancer cell lines. Through four increasingly difficult subchallenges, the participants predicted missing markers, new conditions, and the time-course response of single cells to stimuli in the presence and absence of kinase inhibitors. The challenge results show that despite the stochastic nature of signal transduction in single cells, the signaling events are tightly controlled and machine learning methods can accurately predict new experimental data.

Abstract

The classification of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is based on macroscopic pattern, pathological features, clinical manifestation and molecular type. Surgical resection is still the preferred treatment for ICC. Hot topics in surgical treatment include hepatic resection procedure, distance of resection margin, lymph node dissection, laparoscopic operation, liver transplantation, reoperation after recurrence, neoadjuvant therapy and conversion therapy. The classification of ICC and hot topics in surgical treatment were focused in this review.

Abstract

This paper establishes mathematical models and PVAR models to verify the micro transmission path and the validity of central bank communication and actual interest rate intervention on China stock market. Through heterogeneity analysis, we further test whether the level of macroeconomic uncertainty affects their effect. We confirmthat both central bank communication and actual interest rate intervention have a significant effect. However, central bank communication is ineffective in the high macroeconomic uncertainty sample while the interest rate intervention can have a greater effect. Overall, the results suggest that central bank communication is a more effective monetary policy tool on stock market in low macroeconomic uncertainty period, while interest rate intervention is a better choice in high macroeconomic uncertainty period.

Abstract

Host‐guest complexation offers a promising approach for mitigating surface defects in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Crown ethers are the most widely used macrocyclic hosts for complexing perovskite surfaces, yet their supramolecular interactions and functional implications require further understanding. Here we show that the dipole moment of crown ethers serves as an indicator of supramolecular interactions with both perovskites and precursor salts. A larger dipole moment, achieved through the substitution of heteroatoms, correlates with enhanced coordination with lead cations. Perovskite films incorporating aza‐crown ethers as additives exhibited improved morphology, reduced defect densities, and better energy‐level alignment compared to those using native crown ethers. We report power‐conversion efficiencies (PCEs) exceeding 25 % for PSCs, which show enhanced long‐term stability, and a record PCE of 21.5 % for host–guest complexation‐based perovskite solar modules with an active area of 14.0 cm2. Abstract

Electron‐withdrawing molecules (EWMs) have exhibited remarkable efficacy in boosting the performance of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, the underneath mechanisms governing their positive attributes remain inadequately understood. Herein, we conducted a comprehensive study on EWMs by comparing 2,2′‐(2,5‐cyclohexadiene‐1,4‐diylidene) bismalononitrile (TCNQ) and (2,3,5,6‐tetrafluoro‐2,5‐cyclohexadiene‐1,4‐diylidene) dimalononitrile (F4TCNQ) employed at the perovskite/hole transport layer (HTL) interfaces. Our findings reveal that EWMs simultaneously enhance chemical passivation, interface dipole effect, and chemically binding of the perovskite to the HTL. Notably, F4TCNQ, with its superior electron‐withdrawing properties, demonstrates a more pronounced impact. Consequently, PCSs modified with F4TCNQ achieved an impressive power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 25.21 %, while demonstrating excellent long‐term stability. Moreover, the PCE of a larger‐area perovskite module (14.0 cm2) based on F4TCNQ reached 21.41 %. This work illuminates the multifaceted mechanisms of EWMs at the interfaces in PSCs, delivering pivotal insights that pave the way for the sophisticated design and strategic application of EWMs, thereby propelling the advancement of perovskite photovoltaic technology.
